We came here on Mother's Day morning so seating took a bit, but our server was super friendly and did everything she could to get our big group seated comfortably together. When we ordered it took some time for the food to come out but it was definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls. Everything tasted great and I'd definitely come back again

Delicious comfort food in a cozy local dining room, friendly helpful service and feel like we are eating at a friend's house. The Denver omelette was perfect with grilled veggies and ham, breakfast sandwich on croissant was tender and flavorful. Riley was very helpful and prompt with our food, keeping our coffee full without reminders. We look forward to coming back!!

This is a little hole in the wall place but they have service on point. Get you in and out pretty quickly. This was our first time here and would highly recommend. Food was really good and served hot. The only thing I would recommend is crisp up the hash browns a little more.

The Chefs Hut is quite literally a hidden gem here in Boise! I say that because it is located in the middle of office spaces/business warehouses but you can easily find the door by all the people flocking in! I went on a Sunday at around 10:00am and had to wait for about 25 minutes but it was well worth it. Once we were seated, the waitress got us our coffee and made sure our cups were full for the entirety of our stay and we never had to ask for a refill. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs (over easy) which was good but the star of the show was the eggs Benedict my boyfriend ordered. If you like eggs Benedict... this is the place to get it! The hollandaise sauce was creamy and the eggs were perfectly poached. I was very impressed and will definitely order it the next time I am there. On the way out we got a cinnamon roll to go since they specialize in them and the kind hostess even poured us coffee to go. I highly recommend the Chefs hut for either a breakfast/brunch date with a loved one or a fun time with family and friends. I can't wait to go back

This place is super cute and small. Maybe 10 tables. Bar area seats about 5 or so. We got here on a Friday morning around 930. We were able to be seated right away. This place is super small, so if you are having a conversation in a louder tone of voice, everyone will hear you. Be fore warned. I had the special. Bacon, egg Benedict. I always get the hollandaise sauce on the side. The avocados were surrounding the egg. They weren't under the egg. The bacon strips were put across both English muffins. The hashbrowns were crispy. Not a huge fan of hasbrowns myself. My boyfriend got the gut buster. It had to have been over a pound of food. He ate 2/3 of it. The pancakes were really good. Definitely recommend them.

How'd I get so lucky?! Blueberry pancakes shaped like Mickey Mouse?! Perfect! Great first experience at The Chef's Hut with speedy friendly service (loved being greeted "hello, beautiful." ) Eggs and ham cooked perfectly too! Thanks, Yelp! for exposing this hidden gem (literally hidden in office park).

This is my go-to breakfast spot. Never disappoints. Went solo last weekend, sat at the counter. Got my usual, half order of eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and a cinnamon roll. Their eggs Benedict is always cooked perfectly, with crispy on the outside, soft on the inside hashbrowns. And the cinnamon roll is the best in town. They are a small establishment so go early or plan to have a wait, but it is so worth it. The service is always super friendly as well.

    Basque Omelette.

The Chef's Hut in Boise delivered a perfect breakfast. Our 3-egg omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor, and the Basque-style chorizo was bold, smoky, and delicious. Cozy vibes, friendly staff, and hearty portions make this local spot an easy favorite.

Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.

By coincidence when walking around town I spotted it and had to go try. I'm a sucker for biscuits and gravy and these definitely beat what you would find in a Denny's or IHOP by a landslide on the taste and aesthetic scale! It's super filling since there's so many carbs, but the taters (more like small potato wedges) are actually a clever add-in. They add a slight bit of texture to the mushiness of the gravy-soaked biscuits, and potatoes and gravy are already best friends in terms of food pairings. There's also garnish on top (some sort of greens and cheese) that gives it a nice look and extra flavor. Delicious! I didn't think much of the customer service initially aside from thinking they were super friendly. However, I sat down at one of the tables and took my time eating and people watching. So many people came by the store to talk to the chefs with such familiarity that it felt like this popup was its own restaurant and community. It hasn't reached a point of popularity where it's flooded with people, but the more I look back on the experience, the nicer I feel about it. Even after a lot of time had passed and the staff had already helped out so many people, when I left, they called out my name and it made me wish I could go back again. This is one of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Not because it's spectacular or mindblowing, but because it was great people watching. He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. We saw a young couple get frustrated with how packed it was and left, but what do you expect on a Friday night, this isn't a fast food place. We stuck around and placed our order. Got lucky because they only do Fish Fry's on Fridays! Ordered the prawns and fish, got two order of buffalo wings, Mac and cheese, chipotle wrap, and kids burger. Fish was amazing!! Tasted Fresh! Not frozen! I was really not sure what to expect and faced my fears and ordered it. I can say it was some of the best fried fish I've had no lie. I was super pleased with it! Next time I'll try just the fish and chips in hopes that it comes with one more piece. The prawns were skinny ones and I wasn't too fond of them but the fish the main dish was perfect! Plan to circle the block several times if you want to be close. Otherwise plan on parking and walking. When we walked in, 5:30-ish on a Thursday evening the bartender told us to sit wherever we wanted. There were two booths and a couple of other tables available. It took several minutes for anyone else to acknowledge us and bring us menus. When asked, the waitress didn't know what beers were on tap, but did have them all written down. That was helpful. Also seemed to have a good selection of "house" cocktails, which would be fun for happy hour or a game day. Vibe is definitely sports bar on a college campus, but the patrons were not college-aged. As others have commented, great overhead music. While we were there it was 70s classic rock. Now for the food - all great! Hubby gor the finger steaks, and while the breading looked very dark, he said they didn't taste burnt or overcooked. They came with BBQ sauce and an Asian-ish sweet-chili-horseradish sauce. Not cocktail sauce and very weird. I got The Grateful Shed burger with tots. It was delicious! Served on a brioche bun that could not stand up to the burger and how juicy it was. But that's what a fork is for. The candied bacon on it was so good. And the tots! Crispiest I've have in all of the treasure valley! It did take quite a while for the food to come out. I had a good view of the kitchen so I know it wasn't the wait staff. And its never good to see tables that ordered after us get their food before us. That's the only reason for a 4 star rating. All I have to say is, I think that Boise is a very, very lucky City to have Susina as part of the community of restaurants here. This is the first time in a very long time that I have literally left a restaurant pining for more food despite my full belly! It was my birthday weekend and a friend and I decided that we were going to finally make a reservation to eat at Susina having heard so many wonderful things about it , and all of the Great experiences that others have had after dining there. We started with a bottle of St. Hilaire. It is a nice young, bright, sparkling, crisp, dry, wine from France and one of my staples! I was very happy to see it on the menu. I was dreaming about the Beef Carpaccio as I don't often get to have it here in Boise but only when I travel to Italy. They prepared it paper thin (of course), as it should be, with a preserved, Meyer lemon aioli and pickled red onions and an herb salad which really took it over the top! I usually enjoy Beef Carpaccio on a bed of arugula, but I really appreciated the herbaceousness of the salad and how absolutely fresh and deep the flavors were. The beef was perfectly cool in temperature and the pickled red onions and lemon aioli were in perfect balance with the beef and herbs. Delicious! This is definitely now one of the things on their menu that I'll be craving moving forward. My friend and I decided we were going to each get a first course, a main course, and a dessert. For the first course, we got the crab risotto. The Wild Rock crab was so perfectly fresh and sweet, and I really appreciated the roundness of the mascarpone herb oil. The risotto was of the utmost silkiness and it was perfectly cooked. This dish was also impeccable and gorgeous to look at. The second dish that we chose to share was the Potato Gnocchi. I make my own at home, but I use ricotta cheese instead to make light, little, fluffy pillows and I hadn't had a good Potato Gnocchi in a very, very long time and I absolutely love the potato kind. They were the absolute perfect size. Perfect. The truffled mushrooms were to die for. This was perfection in my opinion. Love all the shaved Parmesan on top as well. We went for it and for the main course we got the Wagyu Coulotte. Omg! This was absolutely divine. It was cooked to an absolute, perfect, medium, rare and it was so tender that it just melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes were whipped to perfection and the spring vegetables, grilled, lovingly and absolutely everything that we had was seasoned so nicely. I feel the chef understands his salt and I appreciate that deeply. Too many dishes at some restaurants go under seasoned and sometimes chefs can also over do the salt, but this was just the perfect amount. I'll be dreaming about this steak for months! Onto the Pan Roasted Halibut. It was served with herbed, brown, rice and a beurre blanc sauce with spring vegetables. So much flavor here! The brown rice was cooked just perfectly, the spring vegetables had a bit of caramelization and the beurre blanc sauce was delicate and creamy and complimented the Halibut perfectly. The fish was very nicely prepared and full of flavor and balance. Onto dessert, where we enjoyed the Bruleed cheesecake with strawberry sauce . (Sorry I cannot add the accents to Bruleed--- my phone doesn't have a French keyboard). Ha! The cheesecake was light and creamy and I loved that caramelized brulee on the top. Very special indeed. We also tried the lemon tart with toasted meringue. It was divinely acidic (of course) and the crust was buttery and had the best texture! The toasted meringue was stunning aesthetically and tasted delicious as well! Well I'm pretty sure this is one of the longest reviews I've ever written on Yelp but it was worth every top of my finger and minute of my time. Oh wait I'm not done! The chef, ambiance and wait staff are all top notch! Chef Cardoza is hitting it out of the park with his food and just made a major mark on Boise I'm so happy we have an approachable, romantic, cozy, well decorated, spotless, location to enjoy his food. Our waiter was from France and lots of fun to talk with. He was very attentive and had great timing and knowledge of the menu. Every member of the staff that we interacted with were professional, very, very friendly, and very grateful that we were there which is a huge bonus! Sometimes that's rare these days. Sometimes you walk into a restaurant and you feel like you're putting them out or something. We felt very welcomed from the minute that we walked in and appreciated as we walked out. Thank you and please don't change a thing! Perfecto! We will certainly be back again soon!

The decor features beautiful artificial greenery that gives the space a light, vibrant, and welcoming feel. My server, Brayden, was fantastic--friendly, prompt, and attentive. I started with the Southern Hospitality mimosa (peach & pineapple with "Blue Ridge Bubbly"), which was incredible. For my meal, I chose the $10.99 Lunch Break Special, upgrading my side to the chicken poblano soup alongside the half honey pecan chicken salad sandwich. While I was looking at the bar, a gentleman named Scott asked how I was enjoying my food. I told him I hadn't tried it yet, but that the mimosa was rocking! The soup was delicious with great flavoring, and the biscuits paired perfectly with their tasty jam. The chicken salad also tasted great, but unfortunately, I bit into a sharp chicken bone that hurt my mouth. Because of this, I stopped eating the sandwich. When Brayden checked back in, I let him know I couldn't finish it due to the bone. He handled it perfectly, promptly took the sandwich away, and removed the charge from my bill. He also brought out some bread for my soup as requested. I finished my meal with a salted caramel craft iced latte, which was absolutely delicious. Minor food mishap aside, the outstanding customer service from both Brayden and Scott will definitely bring me back!
