    Delicious Bloody Mary
    Melissa H.

Reason for a four star is out of our party of five, my order was made incorrectly. I didn't say anything, due to not wanting it to be an issue. Other than that, everything was wonderful! Bloody Mary's we AMAZING!!! They make them with saké and wow, delicious. Our server was great, very friendly and not overly pushy or anything. We got a few harvest omelets that were more like a scramble, a few avocado toasts that were enjoyed and a senior breakfast. Everyone enjoyed everything. The ambiance was enjoyable, and they were somewhat busy but we felt well taken care of.

Our party of 7 came here for a late breakfast while on our way to the airport. Called ahead and made reservations (thank goodness) as this was a hot spot!! After checking in the nice, bubbly hostess let us know that the kitchen was a little behind due to a few employees being out I'll. That was fine, we still had time. We ordered, classic mimosas (freshly squeezed OJ) for the adults and specialty hot chocolates for the littles. I ordered the chorizo omelet with house potatoes and sourdough toast, it was delicious!! The restaurant was very busy, all employees were hustling and worked together as a well trained team. We definitely will be back when visit the area again. Highly recommend making reservations.

Blew me out of the water. Didn't even know this place existed. The decor and atmosphere is simple yet beautiful and comforting. The service was absolutely amazing. My server was Cynthia B and she did a great job attending to my table and refilling drinks when needed!! The food was the cherry on top. It tasted the way it looked Delicious!! 5/5 for me!!

Inside out: place is cute and well decorated inside and out. Service: fast and friendly. Food: now I'm not sure about the rest of the menu, but my grandma and I were floored at the prices in the worst way, and the portions were dismal. The quality was mid at best. It seemed like a really over priced and just over all underwhelming experience, but I'm not here to yuck other peoples yums!

Breakfast sandwich (missing a bite) with hash browns

My friend and I ate brunch here last week while visiting Boise. It was such a cute place with eclectic decor that made it even cuter! Our server was very nice and efficient. I had the Breakfast Sandwich with hash browns and a cinnamon roll and oh, my goodness...everything was delicious!! The brioche bun just made the whole sandwich even tastier. I could only eat a couple of bites of the cinnamon roll, but it was full of gooey cinnamon-y goodness. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try...you won't be sorry!!

Super cute place and excellent service. Beyond that, not much to write home about. Personally, I don't mind relatively high prices if the food is high quality but this was not the case. I ordered the basic two egg breakfast and a coffee which was roughly $25, with tip included. I ordered over hard eggs, they came over medium at best. The bacon was not freshly cooked and lukewarm at best. The fruit was decent but not super fresh. The biscuit and gravy were ok but lacked flavor. But again, the decor/ambiance is very well done and the waitresss'/staff did a great job. Great coffee with flavored creamer and country music playing so that's a plus. This place could have a line out the door but they'll need to ensure their food matches their prices. Food quality is paramount; no one cares if the decor isn't aesthetically pleasing so long as the food is amazing. Bring the food quality up and I'll be back to give this place 5 .

    Wild garlic potatoes

I use to love the huck house location but that one is permanently closed. I've only been to this one a few times but I have always loved the menu since they had chicken sausage. Today we went in and didn't find out that they have stopped carrying the chicken sausage until we tried to order brunch. I feel like that should have been disclosed when we got the menus since chicken sausage is still clearly on the whole menu. I also always get wild garlic potatoes and I feel like this time they were definitely lacking in the garlic compared to previous times. The service was ok but water wasn't refilled unless asked for it, over easy egg was forgotten about until asked and the chicken sausage issue should have been disclosed. I'm glad you can reserve ahead and put yourself on the waitlist but it's definitely not the same place it use to be.

    Fig and cheese omelette

I'm shocked this place has 4 stars. I think they're doing way too much. If they shrank the menu and worked on mastering the basics, I think it has potential! It's very cute and cheery inside but the food left a lot to be desired. I got the fig and cheese omelette; unfortunately those flavors did not work as well as I thought they would. My potatoes and pancakes were also cold. Our waitress did comp the dish but I still wasn't thrilled with the overall service. Perks: reservations for large groups and cinnamon roll bread pudding in a mason jar.

This is a top tier breakfast/brunch establishment! They have so many great food options and also provide a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. They are known for their mimosas, which are delicious! They also have great drip coffee and lattes to choose from. The price point here is a little higher than other breakfast places, but I believe that the cost is worth the fresh food that you receive. I ordered the ham renaissance omelet, which is stuffed with sharp white cheddar cheese and prosciutto, it was so good! All of their meals come with a ton of food and various options for sides. This restaurant can get fairly busy so I would highly recommend making a reservation, especially on the weekends!

He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.

Plan to circle the block several times if you want to be close. Otherwise plan on parking and walking. When we walked in, 5:30-ish on a Thursday evening the bartender told us to sit wherever we wanted. There were two booths and a couple of other tables available. It took several minutes for anyone else to acknowledge us and bring us menus. When asked, the waitress didn't know what beers were on tap, but did have them all written down. That was helpful. Also seemed to have a good selection of "house" cocktails, which would be fun for happy hour or a game day. Vibe is definitely sports bar on a college campus, but the patrons were not college-aged. As others have commented, great overhead music. While we were there it was 70s classic rock. Now for the food - all great! Hubby gor the finger steaks, and while the breading looked very dark, he said they didn't taste burnt or overcooked. They came with BBQ sauce and an Asian-ish sweet-chili-horseradish sauce. Not cocktail sauce and very weird. I got The Grateful Shed burger with tots. It was delicious! Served on a brioche bun that could not stand up to the burger and how juicy it was. But that's what a fork is for. The candied bacon on it was so good. And the tots! Crispiest I've have in all of the treasure valley! It did take quite a while for the food to come out. I had a good view of the kitchen so I know it wasn't the wait staff. And its never good to see tables that ordered after us get their food before us. That's the only reason for a 4 star rating. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy.
