First the Morning Meditation drink looked yummy wth orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet. I split it with the Mr and he said tasted a little bit like dirt (you know, that beet earthiness lol). But I thought pretty tasty. On the pricey side but filled with goodness so worth it. Next had the breakfast sandwich with plenty of creamy avocado...pretty good addition! The first time I ate here my food was very good. This time was a different story... I ordered 2 eggs, toast and bacon. I got 2 eggs, toast, fruit and potatoes. No bacon . It sounds like a good deal that I got all that (except for the bacon), but there wasn't one thing that was good. The over easy eggs were not over easy, the potatoes tasted like grease and some were not cooked. The fruit was sour and some pieces were hard. I asked for bacon and I tried to eat it but it was so shiny and greasy I couldn't stomach it. I ended up eating the eggs and the piece of toast. Not worth, the $40+ we spent. read more

I recently ordered delivery from the First Watch Ten Mile location in Meridian, and unfortunately, it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. There was confusion with my order at pickup--despite having already paid through the First Watch website, the staff reportedly told my DoorDash driver that the order hadn't been paid for and initially refused to release it. I had to call the restaurant myself to sort it out, which delayed the delivery. When the order finally arrived, it was missing an item I paid for (the Million Dollar Bacon). I called the restaurant again to report it, but there was no apology or clear resolution offered. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and disappointing, especially given that the order was prepaid and should have been straightforward. I'm hoping this was a one-time issue, but better communication and order accuracy would go a long way in improving the customer experience. read more

I ordered the tres leches strawberry French toast and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience. My friend and I waited close to an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, there were green leafy pieces mixed in with the strawberries and even baked into the French toast itself. I initially tried to overlook the first bits of leafy greens, but as I kept finding more, it became extremely off-putting that the kitchen was okay sending something like that out to a customer. On top of that, the French toast was also extremely burnt. The service was a bit lacking as well, as our server wasn't very attentive during the long wait. That said, I do appreciate that they took the French toast off the bill. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for, and I'm not sure if I'll be back. read more

I haven't seen a restaurant offer an amazing list of drinks that is healthy and non-alcoholic like First Watch. I tried the Pineapple Express and it was sooo good. The food was also so delicious. I'd recommend joining the waitlist online because it can get very busy! read more

I was here as a guest on their friends & family day. It's nice in the modern farmhouse style that most places seem to be these days. Service, with the exception of the female manager/trainer in the dark blue polo shirt who was rude to us and all the staff, was great. I get that you want to push the juice- but we are not juice drinking people. Drinks- cold brew coffee and chocolate milk - standard. Not great, but drinkable. Food - the million dollar bacon is probably what earned them the extra star to push it over 3. Pork sausage was also really good. Everything else (we both got the trifecta combo with a waffle) was just middle of the road. Was it terrible? No- just not fabulous. Would we come back- yes. There's other things to try and we'd get one of those instead. I look forward to seeing this spot evolve- and think they have a nice possible area to put a patio in the future. read more

First time to a First Watch restaurant. My wife was referred by our next door neighbor. We came on a Wednesday around noon. It is large and bright, with lots of windows and an industrial vibe, very clean, including the restrooms. We were greeted by a nice hostess and seated at a nice booth on the opposite side of the restrooms, but right behind the bussing station. Once seated, we waited too long for a server before we asked another server who ours was. We still waited several minutes longer, maybe close to ten minutes total, though the server we asked brought us water. When the server came to our table, she seemed to imply that she had not realized we were her table. She wasn't really clear. Still, she was nice and took our order. My wife ordered the traditional breakfast. I ordered the ham and Gruyere omelet. I enjoyed the omelet. We both enjoyed the potatoes. My wife was not a fan of the apple sausage. They have fresh squeezed OJ and my wife had a glass. Delicious. We also ordered the seasonal Pumpkin Spiced donuts (holes). There is a caramel and a cream cheese dip. We preferred the caramel. I did not detect a lot of pumpkin flavor but they were still good. In summary, nice atmosphere, good food, but our service this time left us underwhelmed. I was lucky enough to go to the opening of First Watch and it did not disappoint! The food and drinks were delicious! We started off with the million dollar bacon for the table which is bacon with brown sugar and a maple drizzle. We also ordered some of their fresh pressed juices. Our favorite was the morning meditation. The menu is pretty vast, which was one of the only negatives I found during this experience. There was so many options it was hard to narrow down what I wanted to order. Overall the food and service were great and we definitely enjoyed the visit! read more

Visited for the first time on a Saturday morning at 10am. There were two of us and we were seated immediately. The restaurant is very large, bright and open. There were lots of people working and the service was friendly. There are lots of options for breakfast, a juice bar, and even a holiday menu with seasonal offerings. My dish, the Parma Skillet, was fine. Nothing amazing, and kind of a small portion compared to most other breakfast places in the area. I got my eggs scrambled and they were cooked really well. The roasted potatoes were also really good, but the entire dish was pretty salty. It was supposed to come with toast, but mine and my friend never got any. We were busy visiting so we didn't notice, but I checked the menu online after and sure enough it was supposed to be part of the meal. I also ordered ice tea with lemon and it initially came with no lemon. And when it was empty I had to ask for a refill. My friend got a skillet off of the holiday menu. It was definitely a bigger portion, but both of us were able to finish our entire meal. I don't think I'd go back for breakfast. Mainly because I already have several favorites in the area that I prefer. But I might check it out for lunch. read more

We were invited to the friends & family soft grand opening event. Yes, our food and drinks were comped. No, my review has no bearing on being comped food. No, this was not a Yelp event. This was a spontaneous email invite from signing up for their email updates. My friends have been raving about the original Meridian location so I honestly had super high expectations...glad to know that this new Ten Mile location met and exceeded most of those expectations. We were quickly seated by very friendly and eager hosts, which made it a very positive experience from the start. I've been to several soft opening events in the past at various restaurants and to date, this was the quickest and best initial impression I've ever had. We were seated next to a larger party, at a two seater table next to a hostess station...probably my least favorite part. The table felt small and I had no place to put my purse...not to mention, constant traffic from the host station and being uncomfortably close to the party next to us. Perhaps I'm a table snob, but I would have preferred a booth. Since this is preference and I was getting a comped meal, I felt it best to shut my yapper. Our server Amanda was very friendly and wonderfully suggestive without being pushy. I loved that. On a whim, I decided to try the Kale Tonic, due to Amanda's suggestion, which was surprisingly delicious...it was obvious that everything was freshly squeezed or juiced and it was pleasantly fresh and refreshing. The million dollar bacon came out next. I would have appreciated some appetizer plates but wasn't sure if it was a soft opening misstep or standard. Hubby and I reached in and grabbed each strip with caveman style glee. The bacon was not as crispy as I would have liked and the cayenne definitely gives the bacon a slight kick, but overall, the balance of sweet, salt and heat was a delight. Next came my chili chorizo omelet with seasoned potatoes and whole grain toast. I don't typically eat green chilis but the description of the omelet had me drooling, especially the addition of the house made pico and jam. I was smitten kitten with the beautifully fresh avocado, tender chorizo (not too spicy), onions, cheese (not too much...I wouldn't have minded more) and green chilis. The pico was a little watery but an excellent companion to the perfect dollop of sour cream and omelet nibbles. The seasoned potatoes were spot on...lightly crispy outsides, pillowy insides and chunks of crispy onions throughout. The toast was perfectly toasted to medium with melted butter nestled in each nook and cranny. My only complaint is that it's pretty thick and was tough to make mini egg sandwiches for me to have, but again, that's a me thing. It was scrumptious...and a dip in the strawberry jam made it delectable. Hubby had the turkey sausage, eggs and gravy. He ate every bite....which he never, ever does. He said the gravy rivaled my homemade gravy (tsk tsk)! I know First Watch is a large chain and a rapidly growing chain as well, but I can see why. The food was a nice departure from the standard breakfast flair, the food was obviously house made, fresh, craveable and the service was very attentive (almost too much so). The prices are on the higher side, but you're paying for larger portions of fresher food. I may not go often (due to the hours and working full time) but when I do end up going again, I will relish it! read more

We asked to be seated outside. The hostess acted like we were asking her to allow children to sit at the bar. There were multiple empty tables outside while the inside was crammed packed elbow to elbow. She seats us at a booth anyways. Our server finally comes and we again ask to be seated outside where we asked to be. 15 minutes of them trying to figure it out, we were finally moved outside. If Im paying $100 for breakfast, then please don't act like I'm an inconvenience. read more

Customer service sucks. I walk into pickup food and instead of it being handed, I was pointed in the direction of the food and then blew off. When I get home I realize an entire meal is missing. Alexa, the same girl who pointed so carelessly, answered the phone when I called to advise of the situation. She offered no apologies and no solutions except to come back. We had a wonderful breakfast! Our server was Tiffany. She was absolutely wonderful! She was bubbly, positive and helpful with the menu. She personally loves the food there and it shows. We both had the double bacon hash and a side of million dollar bacon. The hash was good, if I had to change anything it would be no parm cream on top. My wife and I went here for the first time last weekend and it was okay. . . I don't think I can really recommend it, but I also can't say anything specifically negative about it. It's just okay. Service was friendly, but not attentive as my wife said she wanted coffee and the waitress brings my wife and I Both coffee. I wasn't wanting coffee as I had heard the juice was really good, but I will say the coffee was the best part of my breakfast so I can't complain about it too much. I just still am sad I didn't get to try the juice as it looked great! The restaurant aesthetic is beautiful and if you just care about instagramming your food, and your outings, but you aren't looking for anything special with how it tastes this is the place for you! The food was not bad but it felt like for the price of our breakfast for 2 people I could choose many other places and get better food at a cheaper price. My first time at this restaurant. I went with my neighbor who had been there before and raved about the food. We arrived about noon on a Friday and were seated immediately. The industrial decor was very open, clean looking and pleasant. The only downside was the A/C was turned up too high. Our coffee and food got cold very quickly but our server, Serena, was outstanding. She was very attentive and kept the coffee coming while checking to see if we had decided on our order. She was friendly and answered our questions regarding the juice bar beverages as well as the entrees. Our food was served in a timely manner and Serena made sure we had everything we needed. I had the Eggs Benedict, which is my standard order for first visit to a new restaurant, with potatoes. Everything was delicious and the portion was more than enough for one person. My neighbor had the Smoked Salmon and Roasted Vegetables Frittata with potatoes and we split a side of their Million Dollar Bacon which folks can't quit talking about. We both ended up taking some food home - more than we could eat. We'll definitely be returning and, hopefully, we'll get to have Serena as our server. read more

The vibe of the inside is very much what I see in like restaurants in downtown Chicago. Modern and muted but very classy. The GM came to chat us up at our table which was nice. This is the second time I've been here and the food is just low quality. The bread was really thick, barely roasted, and had one dime sized spot of butter on it. The potatoes were greasy, half cooked, and just not tastey. The eggs are always odd, like they came out of a bag. The chicken sausage is okay. We also always sit and wait for at least 5 minutes until a waitress acknowledged us and gave us water. It also upset me an my bfs stomach so that's cool. read more

We'd been wanting to try this place since construction and are so excited to finally have a nice breakfast spot in the area! Super cute and clean, our experience today exceeded my expectations. I didn't plan on writing a review so I forgot to take photos, but I ordered the chile chorizo omelette, which I will probably order again next time bc it was amazing!! Our waitress was awesome and recommended subbing the mixed greens it comes with for country potatoes (no extra charge), and boy were those potatoes worth the extra calories!! Hubby got the biscuits and gravy which he was very happy with. He wasn't a huge fan of the blackberry iced tea, although he did drink two glasses of it. The thick multigrain toast paired with their house-made jam was amazing also. Our kids (4 and 11) ordered off the kids menu, their meals came with a nice-sized fruit bowl with the best fruits, and also included a drink, making it a great deal at just $7.50. I have recently been to this location 2 times and i really wanted to give you guys a shot as it always look good and busy so it must be a great place to dine, wrong. Both times i have been here i have had issues with many things, such as a long, long wait to be greeted by a sever, ignored completely while other who have just been seated around us are getting drinks and being served. Also, bad service when my party and I finally had gotten served, she only checked on us once and never brought us items we were waiting on to enjoy our food with. I am extremely disappointed in this and the food quality as our food came out cold and unappetizing as well. The only good thing was the purple haze drink that i waited on for 35 mins. I probably will now only be coming in for the drink as I can't seem to get served and the items of food were disappointing and expensive for crappy food and service. read more
