Cinnamon roll
Alexia A.

Sunrise Inn is a small, cozy breakfast spot with a warm, old-school diner feel. It's intimate and welcoming. We were greeted quickly, and although seating took a moment despite open tables, service overall was pretty fast. Food: The Country Platter was the better of the two platters. It came with hashbrowns layered with chicken-fried steak, gravy, cheese, and scrambled eggs. The gravy was underseasoned with an off consistency, and the portion felt small for the $16 price. The cinnamon roll included was dry and slightly hard, unfortunately--I was expecting something warmer and softer. The Sunshine Platter was similar but with pork sausage. Overall, it was just okay, though the two thick slices of buttered sourdough toast with strawberry jam were really good and the highlight of the dish. The Kids Strawberry & Banana Pancake with Eggs was pretty much the most solid choice. The pancake was soft, buttery, and very good, with generous toppings. Coffee: The coffee was extremely light and lacked strong flavor. We stopped drinking them, actually. Service: Service was quick and great. Despite the small, busy space, our waitress was attentive and friendly. Overall: Not the best, but a pretty decent spot for a Sunday breakfast. We left full and satisfied with the service.

Omelette my way, toast and coffee.

I love this place! It's rare that I eat an entire plate but man oh man, I polished off the entire omelette, hash browns and toast! I absolutely love the classic blue coffee mugs that keep your coffee hot and the staff that tops you off if they notice you're getting low. I'm so glad I found this little nugget. The classic ambiance and seasoned wait staff coupled with excellent cooks and kitchen staff make this place a Gem. I look forward to eating here again very soon.

I love this long standing all American family restaurant in Nampa. Service has always been too notch for me. Unfortunately, they are only open until 3pm, since Covid. But, you can get dinner anytime of day, or breakfast, or whatever you want.

Great food, great staff, reasonable prices, good size menu, recommended eats!!! Masks are required walking to your seats and when moving throughout the restaurant

Decent breakfast at a fair price. The service is good, the atmosphere is not that great. The seating and comfort level is low.

They had that golden, slightly buttery crunch that makes you keep going back for "just one more bite." The sausage patties were just as impressive--juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right with a nice sear that added a ton of flavor. Together, they made a simple breakfast feel way above average. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and made the whole place feel welcoming from the moment I walked in. It felt like they genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. Between the comforting food and the amazing service, it's the kind of place you leave already thinking about when you'll come back next.

But then waited about 10 minutes before waiting for someone to take our order, while watching multiple waitresses walk past us. Once we did order, I went with lunch (rueben sandwich with fries? and hubby went with breakfast (chicken fried steak, hashbrowns, and toast). The sandwich was delicious!! But the waitress didn't ask what side I wanted and just gave me fries. I could have said something, but was hungry and didn't want to wait for it to be fixed. Hubby loved the gravy, but thought the actual chicken fried steak was just ok. The breading was meh and the meat was more of a hamburger texture rather than cube steak. His hashbrowns were also very under cooked and the oil tasted old. Despite those issues, we'd still go back and talked about what we'd try next. Once we placed our order the waitstaff became much more attentive and was very friendly.

The food is always good, fresh, and satisfying, and it's a nice casual place to grab breakfast or brunch. The service is great ! My only complaint is the flies! There always seem to be quite a few flying around, and sometimes you feel like you have to fight them for your food. LOL! I really wish they could find a way to get that under control because it definitely takes away from the dining experience. Other than that, we enjoy coming here. Good food, good brunch spot, and clearly we like it because we keep coming back!

This place is phenomenal and seriously one of the best breakfast places in all of Idaho. I hesitate to say that because there can definitely be a wait because of its popularity, but facts are facts. My wife and I went to Moe Joe's for breakfast recently and man was it good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was stunned at the amount of food. Where to start. The steak was incredibly tender and enormous. The homemade biscuit was flaky and perfectly baked. The sausage gravy was meaty and flavorful. And the crispy hashbrowns seemed to cover half the plate. Then there are the house-made jellies. Who does that and how can I get more! The service was prompt and friendly with a great wait staff that made everything easy. The vibe of the restaurant is "friendly neighborhood spot" and feels like home. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. These folks know how to do breakfast right and I cannot wait to go back.

(I mean, some of it is greasy and the syrup is gloopy and a bit nasty-- it's better if it's warm-- but overall the food is good). So before I tell you the BIG issue at Joe Momma's, let me first set the scene. JM's looks like a misty mountain cabin come to life. River rock and pinecone and foliage lanterns greet you as you walk up ... log walls and a massive stone fireplace whisper of times gone by as you enter, and hens adorn the dark wood walls. You could easily picture the Fellowship of the Ring sitting in a booth across from you. It's truly charming. So what's the problem with Joe Momma's? The music! It's AWFUL and completely bizarre given the atmosphere of the restaurant. But hey, if blasted mid-2000's Rihanna and Katy Perry songs on a loop (we counted more than 4) is your idea of a good time at 8:30am on a Saturday morning in a log cabin, then you'll love it. I have a feeling Samwise and Frodo would not though and neither did we. The music is loud, very loud. And sounds more like an LA radio station playing Pop's Top Hits from 19 years ago. Which would be okay, I guess, if the energy of the restaurant matched it-- you know, modern architecture, crisp lines, sleek furniture and color design-- think Snooze in Scottsdale, Az which is basically a breakfast night club. But alas, Joe Momma's is beloved because of the misty mountain feel. The upscale Cracker Barrel vibe. The charming, rustic beauty. And the abrasive, bad pop music ruins the whole thing. It's is truly so freaking weird! Maybe they could keep the Pop for the lunch rush, but PLEASE Joe Momma's, for the love of Frodo, leave breakfast alone and come up with a playlist that matches your beloved establishment!!

The lettuce and veggies in the salad were incredibly fresh and crisp, and it was tossed in a delicious, Greek-style dressing that complimented the dish perfectly. My husbands burger was topped with a cheesy fried tatertot and his onion rings were perfectly finished; the batter didnt slip off when taking a bite.
