First time coming to this place. Very cool place. The restaurant is upstairs. We didn't make a reservation but they were able to get us seated at the bar. The service was great from the minute we walked into the downstairs area until we finished eating. I had the angus ribeye steak and mashed potatoes. It was very well cooked and very good flavor

I'm in Idaho to visit some wineries. The hotel suggested this restaurant and I was not disappointed. I had the bacon wrapped filet mignon with a bernaise sauce. It came with horseradish gratin potatoes and vegetables. I paired it with a cab and it was perfect Staff was friendly and attentive Great local favorite as well.

Had a great experience at Brick 29 Bistro! We ordered the pan-fried oysters, flank steak, and mac and cheese, plus a couple of drinks, everything tasted really good and was well-prepared. The service was friendly and attentive without being over the top. They also have some really cool views that make the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd go back to!

Great experience at Brick 29. We were passing through the area and stopped for the night. Did a quick Yelp search for a restaurant and came across Brick 29 with great reviews. It did not disappoint. It's a very nice setting, you take an elevator up to the third floor of an old brick building. The ambience was very comfortable with some views of the area. We happened to sit at the bar because we did not have a reservation, but the bar tender was engaging and provided great service. I enjoyed the flat iron steak and my husband had a Caesar salad with chicken. The food was delicious. I highly recommend brick 29.

Catalina was an enthusiastic server. We enjoyed her attitude. Comfortable tables and booths not crammed together as is done in Boise downtown ghetto restaurants The fries, chicken, Rueben and mushroom soup were very tasty. We left very full for less money than other comparable dining options. The Rueben had red cabbage sauerkraut which was nice. Dressing and bread worked well together. While not the supreme example of this sandwich, this is definitely in the top 5 in my documenting Ruebens in the Treasure Valley. Parked on the street at the entrance, took the elevator to the 3rd floor. Beautiful interior. The view over Nampa is what one would expect - downtown Nampa rooftops. Next time we go, I will insist on water without the slice of cucumber. Actually they should ask before serving it, as some people (me) don't like that crap in their water. Strongly recommend.

With my family being new to the area, I was looking for a spot to take them for brunch on the last day of our trip. Brick 29 kept popping up with impressive reviews, so I went ahead and booked us reservations. The location is pretty cool, perched on the top floor of an old brick building. You ride the elevator up and step out into an open space with lovely views of the city below, which immediately set the tone for the meal. Service was great. Our waiter struck the perfect balance of friendly humor and genuine food knowledge. We ordered a little bit of everything, and not a single dish disappointed. The calamari came out perfectly crisp and incredibly tender. The pumpkin bisque was rich, warm, and matched the fall weather. My husband's pork chop was the standout. That chop was massive, juicy, and grilled to perfection. By the end of the meal, my parents were already making plans for their next visit to Brick 29. This is definitely a restaurant to enjoy a meal at.

The inside is very beautiful. The restaurant is on the second level , you get there by the elevator & greeted by staff once you get up there. I ordered the ravioli and it was good aside from the mountain of mushrooms and it being more of a soup. I don't mind mushrooms, but it was more like a ravioli and mushroom plate. The menu is short and simple. Not a lot of options. However, the wine options are endless and the restaurant itself was gorgeous! Service was great. Food was mid. Idk I'll have to try something else the next time I go.

First we started downstairs at the bar which is located down the hallway it's kinda long and there is sign on the door Janitors closet employees only! It was so fun and great vibes. The music is jazzy and it nice and dim in the bar very lovey.. After a 35 minute wait we gathered our belongings and went back down the long hallway to the elevators to the 3rd floor where we were greeted by a very sweet kind gal. This part of the restaurant was a lot more lit up.. your offer sparkling water or regular water with cucumbers so delicious appetizer we had the calamari it was kind of spicy. I loved it then I had the filet mignon and had a chicken breast something.. both very good but the steak was a little better. Of course the potatoes are amazing. And then for a dessert we had this German chocolate cake, but it wasn't like your regular in German chocolate cake. It was like whipped also very amazing. this place is very clean. It was full of family and friends and people. There was not an empty seat in the house. This is a must try and you will be back!

Mmm I really don't know how to rate this because the food and environment were amazing. But the service was good, the server was great, nice and energetic! But mmm she said a slur word (chi**ky) very causally which made me very shocked. But idk Anyways the food was very good! The appetizers were delicious! The filet mignon was very Juicy, and I normally don't like filet mignon because I always have dry ones. The potatoes were so good! Now I know why it's called the potato state! It's very good!

Let me start off by saying that I do not give 5 star ratings often, but this restaurant really deserves it. From the customer service, ambiance, and food all of it was checked. First, went online made a reservation for two at 1230 since I thought it would take us longer to get there than it did during the lunch traffic. It didn't. We were able to be get a table at 1215. Our server Josh, well we both havent see customer service like this in a long time. He was amazing. I ordered a lemonade and when I downed that drink, within moments, another one magically appeared. My friend and I ordered the Brick 29 fries as an appetizer with the bacon because, fat kid status, the BLTA and the hot turkey and cheese, both with salads. It's called balance people. Look it up. When we got the fries, upon our first bites, I don't think we talked after our first this is so good. We might not even have breathed. That appetizer is definitely perfect for two dainty women who are watching their figure. We absolutely inhaled it. It was garlicky, cheesy, needed more bacon because everything needs more bacon. We told the lady that brought our main dishes, whoever made this, if they are single and need a girlfriend, we can apply for that job. She just looked at us crazy and said ok, she will tell them. I don't think she told them. Listen, the fries were that good. If you get the chance to eat these fries, GET THE FRIES!!! We split the sandwiches because that's what good girl friends do and we wanted to try everything. The hot turkey and cheese had this hot pepper jam on it. It had a nice little kick to it and it had cheese grilled on top of the bread!!!! Was so delicious. The BLTA had that candied bacon. The salad was an absolutely delicious. I loved the walnut dressing. All of the food was quality food. You can tell coming here that there was some sort of pride put into it. I'd hope so anyway. I've been to Chandlers downtown. Not a fan. Their food had absolutely no flavor, ambience was ok, customer service was ok. Food was wwaayyy over priced. Id rather come here. Just because you pay for expensive food doesn't mean you are getting GOOD food. Brick 29 has good food. We will be coming back here again. If you are able to get Josh, he pays attention to your table. That doesn't happen anymore. Take care of him if he is taking care of you. He is awesome. Thank you.

This place has quite eclectic decor, taxidermy, and cave-like booths that really separate you from others. This place is perfect for a date with your special someone, a fun night out with friends, or even as part of a bachelor or bachelorette celebration. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. They even have mocktail options and can likely make most drinks non-alcoholic, keeping it fun for those looking to refrain from alcohol. Their appetizers are also really good! Their prices are also fair and not to ridiculous which is amazing. Be sure to make a reservation, especially if you are planning to go on a weekend. Overall, I highly recommend this hidden gem in the middle of downtown Nampa! They even have clean bathrooms!

Within seconds, I received a text that my order had been received, but not confirmed, and to watch for a confirmation text. After 30 minutes, I still had not received a confirmation text, so I messaged asking for an approximate time. The reply stated they were "slammed" and that my order would be ready in about 30 minutes. After another 45 minutes, I still had not received any communication from them, so I decided to walk over to check on my order, hoping that it would be ready. The first thing I noticed was that there were not a lot of customers inside. I informed the server behind the bar that I was there to pick up my order, and she went back to check. When she returned, she told me that there were no pickup orders. I showed her the email with my order number and told her that I never received a confirmation from them. She went back into the kitchen, then came back and said they didn't have my order, but could make it while I waited - about 10 minutes. I reluctantly agreed and waited. When I got my order, I asked for a few extra cups of sauce. The server was put off, as if asked to perform an overwhelming task. Needless to say, I left the establishment with a less-than-favorable taste in my mouth. 24 hours later, I received a text from them that my order was confirmed and would be ready to be picked up. I texted back that this was 24 hours late and to cancel the order. The reply was that their texting service was unavailable, and to call for questions. I then replied to the confirmation email, hoping that would get through to them. No such luck. The reply I received said that delivery had failed - that their email box was full. I will say that the food was good, and that the server was mainly friendly. However, the whole online ordering system needs some serious revamping. I hope that Whiskey River will take this review as constructive criticism so that future customers will have an easier, smoother online ordering experience.
