This is our first time here for lunch, big fan of dinner here too. We asked chat gpt who had the best Caesar salad in all the land of Nampa. She told us, Brick 29! Oh boy, not a fan of always trusting AI but today, she didnt steer us wrong. The boiled egg, the perfectly seasoned juicy chicken, the fresh romaine and just the right amount of dressing. We loved our french press coffee as an addition. Also, you just cant beat cucumeber water to wash it down. We had wonderful service provided by Calvin, the manager and Jackson, our server. The place is buzzing with smiles, and you can tell why. Kudos to the chef and the rest of the team. We will be back for drinks one night too.

My oh my what a fantastic dinner we had!! Traveling and wanted a nice meal that wasn't overpriced. Brick 29 checked every box. Filet mignon with potato gratin was amazing. The tarragon butter and Demi glaze just added to the flavor. The seasonal pear salad is an absolute MUST. Fresh, flavorful and wonderful blend of ingredients. The star of the show however was the pork chop with blueberry compote. It was fork tender, and the compote with the pork was incredible! Our waiter was attentive, professional and efficient. He suggested garlic mash with the pork chop and was spot on. Atmosphere was lively and the space was eclectic and fun. What a wonderful experience!!!

It's been a few years since I first visited this place and I'm glad to report the food is just as good as I remember it and maybe even better now that I've tried even more of the menu. We had a party of 4 and our server Sophia was awesome from start to finish. I made sure to begin with their calamari which I'm happy it's still on the menu. It's so delicious! 2 people in my party shared the massive blueberry pork chop dinner. I went with the flat iron steak (medium rare), and the other foodie went with the birria grilled cheese and side Cesar salad. For dessert we all shared a huge slice of their off menu blueberry cheesecake which was damn good! I can see why the chef and restaurant wins awards almost every year.

First time coming to this place. Very cool place. The restaurant is upstairs. We didn't make a reservation but they were able to get us seated at the bar. The service was great from the minute we walked into the downstairs area until we finished eating. I had the angus ribeye steak and mashed potatoes. It was very well cooked and very good flavor

Everything is always great every time we visit. Great spot before a concert at the Ford Center.

Catalina was an enthusiastic server. We enjoyed her attitude. Comfortable tables and booths not crammed together as is done in Boise downtown ghetto restaurants The fries, chicken, Rueben and mushroom soup were very tasty. We left very full for less money than other comparable dining options. The Rueben had red cabbage sauerkraut which was nice. Dressing and bread worked well together. While not the supreme example of this sandwich, this is definitely in the top 5 in my documenting Ruebens in the Treasure Valley. Parked on the street at the entrance, took the elevator to the 3rd floor. Beautiful interior. The view over Nampa is what one would expect - downtown Nampa rooftops. Next time we go, I will insist on water without the slice of cucumber. Actually they should ask before serving it, as some people (me) don't like that crap in their water. Strongly recommend.

With my family being new to the area, I was looking for a spot to take them for brunch on the last day of our trip. Brick 29 kept popping up with impressive reviews, so I went ahead and booked us reservations. The location is pretty cool, perched on the top floor of an old brick building. You ride the elevator up and step out into an open space with lovely views of the city below, which immediately set the tone for the meal. Service was great. Our waiter struck the perfect balance of friendly humor and genuine food knowledge. We ordered a little bit of everything, and not a single dish disappointed. The calamari came out perfectly crisp and incredibly tender. The pumpkin bisque was rich, warm, and matched the fall weather. My husband's pork chop was the standout. That chop was massive, juicy, and grilled to perfection. By the end of the meal, my parents were already making plans for their next visit to Brick 29. This is definitely a restaurant to enjoy a meal at.

Had a great experience at Brick 29 Bistro! We ordered the pan-fried oysters, flank steak, and mac and cheese, plus a couple of drinks, everything tasted really good and was well-prepared. The service was friendly and attentive without being over the top. They also have some really cool views that make the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd go back to!

Great experience at Brick 29. We were passing through the area and stopped for the night. Did a quick Yelp search for a restaurant and came across Brick 29 with great reviews. It did not disappoint. It's a very nice setting, you take an elevator up to the third floor of an old brick building. The ambience was very comfortable with some views of the area. We happened to sit at the bar because we did not have a reservation, but the bar tender was engaging and provided great service. I enjoyed the flat iron steak and my husband had a Caesar salad with chicken. The food was delicious. I highly recommend brick 29.

The food was amazing! We had heard through the grapevine that the caesar salad was amazing so for the first time ever, my wife and I both ordered the same thing, Caesar salad! Wow, that dressing was delicious and we added the chicken that was prepared perfectly with the right seasonings. Hands down worth the trip to Nampa. Jackson was our waiter and he was super cool and on top of things. Calvin came bye to check on us (manager), he was super nice. If you've never been here you need to check it out. During the day it seems business casual, although there's always group of friend lunch dates everywhere. At dinner it's a great place to dress up. I've been going here for years and have always had a great meal. My go to is the B.L.A.T. and their cocktails are wonderful! Don't think twice, go up to the third floor and you will love it!

Second time was a week later so we could take my niece for her birthday. I love trying new places and checking out their specialty cocktails. They have very unique cocktails with very unique names. Each cocktail has a fun story or description to it as well. They were all very tasty. My favorite, so far, is the Trust Fund Tiki. That is a dangerously good drink. Many of the drinks also come in very fun or classy looking glasses. So far, I have had, along with the drink I have already mentioned, the Cheeky Cheeky, the Porn Star, Irish Goodbye, and the Flirt in the Fruit Isle. They are all delicious and unique in their own ways. The bartenders are a blast too. We had great conversations with them and joked around. The second time we went we got food. I got the fried oysters, my husband got the chicken wings, my niece got the salad and her boyfriend got a chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh and they were cool and brought out my oysters right as they were ready so I had them nice and fresh. The decor... what can I say? Swanky, cool, fun, lots of conversation pieces. We will definitely be back.

I walked in and OMG, It's way bigger than I thought and so stunning! The booths and chandeliers were very classy. The bartender Mel assisted me and she was very pleasant. She let me know that while they have coffee drinks, she's not much of a barista...they have an experienced barista on staff but they only work there from about 7am to 1pm and I was there approx 1:30pm. She stated she could make simple lattes but nothing all that fancy from the coffee menu as cocktails are her actual specialty so I decided to go with alcoholic libations since that's what she knows how to make. One that stood out to me was called the "Figgy Fizz" which is made with a fig syrup and I was excited as for breakfast yesterday I had the best Greek yogurt I've ever had which was honey and fig flavored so I was definitely in a fig mood lol she whipped up the drink but unfortunately after she handed it to me, she let me know she couldn't find the fig syrup they put in it so she substituted that with pumpkin spice. I was kind of bummed about that and wished she would have asked me first if that substitution was okay with me or if I'd want to try something else because now it's not a "figgy fizz" but a pumpkin spice fizz but I still drank it and it was decent. I decided to try one more drink which was a pomegranate rosemary lemon drop and it was beautiful and very tasty ! It's a nice spot to have a drink, the staff is quite friendly and they have some unique flavors so i can see myself frequenting this establishment. I want to come back soon and give their coffee drinks a try when I can stop by earlier!

Within seconds, I received a text that my order had been received, but not confirmed, and to watch for a confirmation text. After 30 minutes, I still had not received a confirmation text, so I messaged asking for an approximate time. The reply stated they were "slammed" and that my order would be ready in about 30 minutes. After another 45 minutes, I still had not received any communication from them, so I decided to walk over to check on my order, hoping that it would be ready. The first thing I noticed was that there were not a lot of customers inside. I informed the server behind the bar that I was there to pick up my order, and she went back to check. When she returned, she told me that there were no pickup orders. I showed her the email with my order number and told her that I never received a confirmation from them. She went back into the kitchen, then came back and said they didn't have my order, but could make it while I waited - about 10 minutes. I reluctantly agreed and waited. When I got my order, I asked for a few extra cups of sauce. The server was put off, as if asked to perform an overwhelming task. Needless to say, I left the establishment with a less-than-favorable taste in my mouth. 24 hours later, I received a text from them that my order was confirmed and would be ready to be picked up. I texted back that this was 24 hours late and to cancel the order. The reply was that their texting service was unavailable, and to call for questions. I then replied to the confirmation email, hoping that would get through to them. No such luck. The reply I received said that delivery had failed - that their email box was full. I will say that the food was good, and that the server was mainly friendly. However, the whole online ordering system needs some serious revamping. I hope that Whiskey River will take this review as constructive criticism so that future customers will have an easier, smoother online ordering experience.
