This place is awesome! We have been here twice now and both times were a gas. The first time we showed up, we just did it a a spur of the moment on my birthday. Second time was a week later so we could take my niece for her birthday. I love trying new places and checking out their specialty cocktails. They have very unique cocktails with very unique names. Each cocktail has a fun story or description to it as well. They were all very tasty. My favorite, so far, is the Trust Fund Tiki. That is a dangerously good drink. Many of the drinks also come in very fun or classy looking glasses. So far, I have had, along with the drink I have already mentioned, the Cheeky Cheeky, the Porn Star, Irish Goodbye, and the Flirt in the Fruit Isle. They are all delicious and unique in their own ways. The bartenders are a blast too. We had great conversations with them and joked around. The second time we went we got food. I got the fried oysters, my husband got the chicken wings, my niece got the salad and her boyfriend got a chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh and they were cool and brought out my oysters right as they were ready so I had them nice and fresh. The decor... what can I say? Swanky, cool, fun, lots of conversation pieces. Been wanting to come here for awhile. The bartender with the long hair was extremely friendly and held up a great conversation with us while we waited for our drinks. He even gave me recommendations on where to work if I were to move to Idaho. Super dope guy. The ambiance was quiet enough for us to talk and be tame but that might change depending when you go... as Saturday it was full and you could barely hear yourself think. This spot is great if you come in on a weekday and enjoy a couple of drinks. If you come in the weekend, don't expect any intimacy. Either way great spot and great cocktails. Soooo I couldn't find the place. But once I did, I had one of the best cocktails in Idaho outside of what the homies have made me at the Mode Lounge. The Bartenders were super friendly, they introduced themselves like proper gentlemen and they made the best drink: I had the pig Latin which had pisco in it. If I wasn't a lonely soul still damaged from my previous relationship I would probably take a date here so that means you should probably take a date here. Meridian has the village for fancy shit Nampa has the Sick Stag. Every city has its fancy elevated cocktail place. You just gotta know where to look for it. This place has quite eclectic decor, taxidermy, and cave-like booths that really separate you from others. Hidden in one of downtown Nampa's old buildings, the stairwell takes you down into a cobbled cave-like space set up for intimate and whimsical cocktail experiences. Highly recommend making a reservation, as this small space gets packed nightly. I would consider this one of the most innovative cocktail lounges in the area. Okay this place is RAD. It's a really cool underground bar with so much to look at. If you want a booth, go to their website and make a reservation! They're so cozy and private. My husband ordered the Rattlesnake and I ordered the Porn Star. Both = YUM! We also had the salmon dip and bar snacks! Also YUM! First we met Jonah who sat us and explained the menu & happy hour and he was fantastic! And then Sydney... SYDNEY and I became best friends! Lol! The Sick Stag in DT Nampa, ID. is by far one of the coolest underground speakeasies I've ever been to. And the cocktails were bomb! Best Bourbon cocktail was the Monkey Business. And for tequila, it was hands down the Chili Passion Margarita (I love spicy with just a little sweetness). I don't remember the name of our bartender, but he was super cool & attentive. Lord knows I love a good tequila sour, and for that alone this place would get 5 stars. Came in before dinner with friends and the bartenders were great! Super friendly and they know their cocktails. The tequila sour I ordered was PERFECT and I would definitely come back and sit at the bar for just that. The only downside was the vibes were a little odd when we came back after dinner with a few more girlfriends. Our server seemed annoyed by us, gave us conflicting messages about if they were still serving food or not, and we couldn't quite figure out why he was like that. Maybe just a personality clash! Cool place. Door is located inconspicuously between two other business. You walk down stairs to find a dimmed bar with several seats and several nooks and cranny's to hang out. It is well decorated. Two bartenders making drinks so a little slow if busy but worth the wait. Nice menu of drinks with good range of classic and sweet cocktails. They play groovy music and the. The vibe is casual and comfortable. They have a small food menu that looks interesting and will definitely try next time. Service was prompt and very good.
