My husband picked up the menu and said "Honey, it's us!" (beam in you'll see it) But wait.. than came the potato bar! Sweetest gal named Delainee scooped out the inside of our huge potato..and gave us the options from crispy briskets, bacon, lobster butter and so much more ~ She mixed all our yummy choices in a bowl & placed it back into our potato! She than pulled out her weapon & torched it!! With eyes wide open we watched as she melted the cheese and made it all crispy! We literally brought home a potato casserole.. I don't know where to start but what an indulgent evening. This was the perfect spot to have our anniversary dinner. Truly, I'm not sure where to start and that's saying alot. Would I go back there? 100% if it was closer as we were on vacation trip. We started with bowls of mushroom soup and French Onion soup. I have never had mushroom soup and oh, the deep flavors were incredible. The French onion soup made my boyfriend extremely happy. I don't eat onions but even the flavor of this was incredible. Our waitress was so kind and answered our million questions regarding the menu or recommendations. She help guide us to an amazing evening. Both of us were shocked when the menu had "happy anniversary". As silly as it seems it is one of my favorite souvenir. The baked potato, just do it. Trust me. My friend heard that Hemlock had a great Happy Hour so we decided to check it out and let me say it did not disappoint. When I first walked in it had a swanky feel to it...very inviting and loved the classy feel. Simple decor. The service was top notch. I was meeting my friend and the staff helped me locate her. The servers were on top of things and very friendly. My friend and I both ordered the Hemlock Happy Meal which comes with a burger, fries and a beer for $20. We decided to order a different beverage instead of a beer. I ordered a Red Blend wine and she ordered a Gin and Tonic, both for an extra fee. Everything was so good...they even make their own homemade ketchup that had a distinct flavor to it. I couldn't stop eating it and I don't typically eat ketchup with my fries. There was a lady pushing around the potato bar cart assembling a mile high baked potato for patrons that was quite fascinating. All in all it was a great time! This was hands down the best restaurant experiences I have had in years. The vibe is ultra modern, high end steakhouse with a mix of being at a club. The food was amazing! From the craft cocktails to the bottle of delicious wine and the food OMG! The one thing anyone has to order is the table side potato! This was life changing and you're in Idaho of course you have to have one! They have everything you could ever want on a potato including burnt ends and potato chips. The steak was also cooked and seasoned so well it was like butter melting in your mouth. Then for sure order the accompanying sauces they are a must. The service was nothing short of 5 star. We came a little early and had a few craft cocktails at the bar prior to dinner and this is also something that shouldn't be missed. The vibe in the bar is awesome! You can eat in here as well but we made a reservation for a special event. There was a snafu on our reservation time that was on them and they felt really bad and gave us our bar drinks on them. We started off with my new favorite drink, Carajillo. It was one of the best I've had. The Hemlock was also a great drink. The bread is unlike any other bread I've had. The filet Carpaccio was SO GOOD! Not something I have had before but definitely something I would recommend. As someone who LOVES all things potatoes, the table side potato for two was one of my favorite things about Hemlock. So many options to choose from, but our "Spud Stud" was great and made the perfect potato! We also had the Tri-tip for two that was the best meat I have tasted. Service: 4.5/5. Camren was delightful and super friendly. Everyone working was really great. Although the food was delicious, it did take a while to get our food. My husband and I just had an amazing dinner at Hemlock in downtown Boise. Everything from the drinks to the atmosphere to the service felt elevated and memorable. I ordered the Smurf Turf Margarita, and it was outstanding. It had the perfect spicy kick and was made with roasted jalapeño agave that gave it a deep, smoky heat. I could still feel the spice on my lips hours later in the best possible way. My husband ordered the Hemlock Old Fashioned that came with an orange peel and a steak burnt end for a garnish. It was so good that we both had to order a second round. We started with the oysters that were so fresh and delicious we almost asked for more, but we wanted to save room because we knew what was coming next. The tableside baked potato bar was the highlight of the night. The Potato Princess herself, Malory Martinez, created a full performance at our table. She brought out a giant potato that was already over a pound, scooped out the inside, and mixed it with lobster butter, lardons, five cheeses, and red onion. She topped it with cheddar and torched it right in front of us with a small blowtorch. She finished it with house-made potato chips tossed in truffle oil and added a very generous serving of sour cream on the side. Once all the toppings were added, this potato easily weighed more than three pounds. It was rich, decadent, and absolutely unforgettable. For our entrees, I had the filet mignon with bacon hollandaise, truffle sauce, and crispy shallot. My husband had the 16 ounce ribeye. We also ordered the mushroom side. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and everything was full of flavor. One of the most thoughtful touches of the night was the personalized menu. Since we booked through OpenTable, our last name was printed on the menu. They will also add special occasions if you note them in your reservation. At the end of the meal, they roll up your personalized menu into a scroll tied with string so you can take it home. It is such a unique and charming detail. Hemlock is definitely on the pricier side, but the entire experience is absolutely worth it. The ambiance is hip, modern, and swanky, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. My wife and I went to Hemlock last Thursday for my birthday, I have to say it did not disappoint! Our server was terrific. He walked us through everything they had on the menu - the drinks, the available steak flights, and also told us about the baked potato table side service. My wife had a filet mignon and I had the ribeye both were cooked to perfection. We also got the tableside baked potato, which was outstanding. The server that put that together for us was also very entertaining and very nice to talk to and it was very delicious. The drinks were great and very entertaining - my wife particularly enjoyed the olive brine foam on her martini, which was very good. If you don't know, Hemlock, on the ground level of the Inn at 500 (hotel), took over Richard's a few months back. They did a redesign on the space and the menu, as they're a high-end steakhouse, and although it's their focus...it's not all they do. We stayed at the Inn at 500 this week, and made reservations for Hemlock for one of our nights there. It's a classy. place, but there isn't a dress code, so don't worry too much about what you're wearing. The ambience is warm and relaxing, low-lighting, dark wood tones, privacy between tables. It's quite lovely, and I inadvertently fell in love with a flamingo lamp with feathers in the corner of one of the booths. I will find a look alike....I have to! There's a combination of things that make this place outrageously wonderful, but food and service are at the top of that list. I can't tell you how many different people checked on us while we were there. Our glasses were always full or replaced, they offered recommendations and tips, and they were all incredibly respectful and kind, even when my husband was throwing out ridiculous jokes. Oh, and get this....the name of your party will be on your menu, welcoming you to Hemlock. Most people never notice, according the our server, but I did, and I thought it was such a thoughtful thing to add to the experience. Now, for the food!!! Spoiler alert: we over-ordered. There were so many delicious items on the menu, we had a hard time deciding. We started with a Grilled Caesar to share, which was lovely and the handmade dressing was delectable. For dinner, my husband went with the 8oz. PRIME Filet Mignon, I chose the Pasta - linguine, locally foraged mushrooms & pistachio mascarpone sauce - so rich and wonderful, but you better be a. mushroom fan! I had heard so many great things about Hemlock that it was at the top of my list when we visited Boise. I went in with high expectations...and somehow they exceeded every one of them. We started with the Chicken Fried Lobster and the Filet Carpaccio, and from the very first bite, I knew we were in for something special. Both dishes were absolutely incredible. Then came the steak flight featuring the Wagyu Ribeye and the Skirt Steak. I can honestly say I've never had steaks this amazing. Perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and truly next level. The sides were just as unforgettable. The tableside baked potato bar, prepared by our very own "Spud Stud" , was both delicious and entertaining. One potato easily fed our table of six! And don't leave without ordering the Corn Crème Brûlée. It has the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little kick that I'm still craving days later. Our server, James, was phenomenal. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, he made an already great evening even better. The atmosphere deserves its own standing ovation. We went right when happy hour started to split a few items we were very interested in before our drive back to Portland and they did NOT disappoint! The thousand layer duck fat potatoes brought us in and while they were delicious, I could've used with a little more salt or seasoning. The steak skewers were great on the spot and in the car later. I was in town to help out at a Yelp Elite Event and stayed at the Inn where this restaurant is located. I was about to walk down the street to find something to eat before our event, when I heard the hustle and bustle of what sounded like a happy hour coming from Hemlock (which is located just off the lobby). So, of course, I had to check it out! This place was SO much fun! I quickly found a seat at the bar, ordered a dirty house martini (with bonus foam), and a plate of their over-the-top delicious steak bites. It was all so good. What put this spot on the 5-star list for me, though, was the incredible, fast, and super friendly service from my bartender. Not to mention, the casual-yet-elevated decor. Apparently this gem was recently renovated and rebranded, and let's just say they are on point on all levels. My only regret is I was in town for just one night, so I couldn't enjoy happy hour all over again the next day! read more

We had been meaning to try Hemlock, the newest steakhouse in downtown Boise that took over the former Richard's space in Hotel 500. It is the latest concept from the team behind one of our favorite taco spots, Spitfire in Eagle. Parking downtown can be a bit tricky, but Hemlock does have valet service available out front. We stopped in for happy hour and grabbed a high-top in the bar. The atmosphere is stylish, with high-end finishes that feel elevated without being pretentious. The chairs, tables, and overall décor all make a great impression. For food, we started with the deviled eggs topped with pork belly, which were perfectly done and a standout bite. Next we split the burger and fries. The burger is a classic flat-top style, made from the prime steak trimmings, and you can really tell. Their house-made burger sauce was an instant hit with both of us. Even though that was plenty of food, I could not resist trying the "1000 layer potato." Imagine the buttery flakiness of a croissant, but made from thinly layered potatoes. Absolutely divine. Happy hour prices were excellent and the service was outstanding from start to finish. From the thickly padded and upholstered entry door to cloth beverage napkins and everything in between, the atmosphere exudes class. The professional, attentive and courteous service staff in crisp, clean uniforms furthers the argument for Hemlock being a swanky dining experience. The personalized menus for our small party of four was the icing on this very polished cake. My first thought when I looked at the menu was that we had picked the most expensive restaurant in town. I cannot count the times that high prices did not equate to value. Hemlock is not one of those. Every dish set on our table was extraordinary. It did not disappoint. When they brought the tab, which was significant, we didn't have a problem one with it - the food and experience was worth every penny. Our table had the French onion soup people have raved about, pork chop, mushroom bisque, filet mignon, grilled Caesar salad, and duck fat potatoes. It was all remarkable. Even the salad was something special. Drinks were expensive but exquisitely crafted and delicious, including the complimentary birthday shots of some pink deliciousness. I can only imagine the desserts, which unfortunately, we were too stuffed to sample. Next time! Overall, I would rank Hemlock among the best of dining experiences. Finally tried Hemlock. It was an anniversary dinner so a nice opportunity. Let's break it into 3 parts. Part 1 - Service and ambience. There is much appreciated valet parking, with the modern standard of electronic ticket. Makes it a breeze to request the car before departing. The attendant even put on the heat, heated seats, and heated steering wheel. Nice touch! 10/10 The room is lovely. Our booth for two felt very private, the lighting was low enough to be romantic, yet illuminated enough to not require additional light to read the menu. 9/10 Service was an interesting mix. It was attentive, friendly, and not overly intrusive. It was also less informed than one might expect. Several basic questions about the menu had to be sent to the kitchen and the server returned with the answer. Most high end establishments have waiters with more knowledge. Also, the wedge salad and French onion soup came out at the same time. Not ideal. OTOH they split our soup and Wedge without a surcharge. In addition the corkage fee for the special bottle we brought in was $25. We expected $50 so we were pleasantly surprised. 7/10 Part 2 - The food. The restaurant does not use seed oils. All food cooked in either beef tallow or extra virgin olive oil. They have an excellent cocktail list. I had a variation on an old fashioned, my wife a drink you'll see described in the pictures included. Both were excellent. 9/10 Our appetizer was 4 scallops In a delicious succotash. The scallops were perfectly cooked with an accompanying succotash that really set it off. 10/10 Wedge Salad. Herbed blue cheese dressing, bacon lardons, red onions, tomatoes. Each ingredient quite good. But we found the dressing was a bit sparse and the lardons were not necessarily a perfect choice. Still good. 7/10 French Onion Soup 48 hour beef broth, gruyère cheese, stale bread. Again excellent ingredients and quite good. 8/10 GOLD GRADE AMERICAN WAGYU TRI-TIP FOR TWO Snake River Farms, Eastern Idaho This tritip for two was delicious. Spot on and a perfect medium rare. Also quite generous we had leftovers to go. Really delicious. And the sauces were great. We chose Chimichurri, Blue Cheese Butter, and Whipped Horseradish. All great. 9/10 Our side was a wonderful mushroom mix including Lions Mane. A delicious White wine sauce. Unfortunately the salt level was way over the top. We used it with each bite of steak and it functioned as a lovely flavor and salt addition. Too bad as the mushroom mix was fabulous. 6/10 Our dessert was called Balance and they knocked it out of the park. Creamy, a little heat, a little crunch, a little citrus. Delicious. 10/10 BALANCED London Fog Panna Cotta Earl grey panna cotta, lavender cream, lemon honey syrup, dried lavender, lemon shortbread cookies Part 3 - The Price Well. Here we go. The scallops were delicious but at $15 each $60 for 4 was over the top. The wedge and French onion, $14 and $15 respectively were fair. The tritip was $185 for two, but it was SRF Gold Grade and really generous. At least 18 ounces. As someone who buys SRF this was a fair price. I didn't like the fact they charged $5 per sauce or butter. The mushrooms at $17 were fairly priced but sadly over salted. The dessert at $14 worth every penny. Note. They have steak flights. These are chef's choice and quite pricey. The cheaper one was a total of 24 ounces. 3 different cuts including 8 ounces of certified Miyagi Japanese A5 Wagyu. The flight was priced at $450. This would be fun for a table of 4 to share but over the top for us. There you have it. Definitely on the pricey side, definitely quality ingredients. HELP THE HEMLOCK, GORDON RAMSEY. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! I made a reservation on Thursday for Saturday night. I received a reservation notification on Friday for Friday night. I had to call them and correct them it was for Saturday night, not Friday. Also, they had us arbitrarily sitting at the bar without giving us a choice where we would like to sit. Then I had to practically insist we don't sit in the bar. The reservationist arbitrarily said, "we got you a table". I said, we didn't ask for a table. We would prefer a booth. Put me on hold for about 3 minutes and said, we'll see what we can do for you. I said, I made a reservation two days ago, I would like a booth and they agreed. We showed up and they tried to sit us at a table. The hostess took us back to the front of the restaurant and finally got us sat. The food: The bread service was mediocre. The bottom was over baked and once the bread cooled, it became hard and chewy. We ordered two of the espresso martinis each. They were okay. However, a grand total of $72 for four martinis is a joke. No indication if the alcohol was from the bartenders well or top shelf. We ordered the 8 oz. Filet Mignon. Try again. The filet looked more like 4 oz. The oysters were a joke. I asked how big were the oysters and the server stated they were big. Nope, they were definitely not big. In the tiny side and hardly any meat. One dozen oysters, $72? Definitely a rip off. I had the linguine. It was okay. However, I was offered different toppings, such as lobster, shrimp or scallops. I asked for 5 scallops. They were good enough, but not any better than any scallops I've had at any high end or low end restaurant. Just your average run of the mill. Does anyone think that 5 small scallops equal out to $75? I was shocked. I had to verify on both Chat GPT and Grock Ai. I never been charged $15 per small scallop. Server had made several mentions that she excited about getting her Taco Bell after she gets off. I think it's pretty tacky to share with guests about how much you love your favorite fast food chain. Ruined the ambiance. Everything was way over priced. With a 20% top the bill was $460. We got robbed. Yes, we know exactly what fine dining is, this place is a joke. We've dined at the Brick Yard, Chandler's, and other equivalent fine dining establishments around Idaho and around the country. We never paid nearly $500 for the sort of dinner we had at the Hemlock. Hemlock Steakhouse is one of Boise's newer spots, and it's already trending for a reason. Located inside the Inn at 500 Capitol, it has a classic steakhouse feel with a lively, packed atmosphere (a bit noisy, but in a good way). We had the Gold Grade American Wagyu tri-tip for two, easily enough for the three of us. The massive "potatoes for two" were a standout (basically loaded mashed potatoes in the skin). Also loved the Caesar salad, Gaucho meatballs, shells n' cheese, and bread service. Don't forget to try the chimichurri sauce. Our son took home home the left overs. Service was excellent, from our waiter to the backwaiters, attentive and on point all night. Cocktails were great. The Hemlock Old Fashioned is their own take, so don't be surprised when you get it. We also ordered a regular Old Fashioned, and both came with a proper large cube (worth noting, some places skip that, and it matters). And we enjoyed the the Crested Caracara, specialty drink. Beers were consistently served in chilled glasses, which was a nice touch. Overall, they're doing everything right great food, great service, and a spot people clearly enjoy. Starting the experience my wine tasted like it had turned.. then my boyfriend ordered the steak special that the server spoke so highly of that was over $150... he was so excited to try it since it was flown from Japan and my boyfriend grows his own beef.. but they assumed we were splitting and they cooked it cut in half and ruined the steak. It was so overcooked, wasn't special at all. They didn't initially offer to fix the problem.. we had to ask. And they seemed displeased to recook a steak. They only offered to give us a dessert on the house that literally looked like a kindergartener made this peanut butter dessert. Very displeasing when you are spending over $300 on a meal. We have been repeat customers at least on a monthly basis since they opened. But this experience has made us think twice. Chandlers wouldn't have handled that situation in that way. read more

The food was not on par with the prices. The prices are on par for a Michelin star restaurant. The chicken fried lobster tail was horrible, there was more battered crust than lobster. The French onion soup was average, lots of broth not many onions. I was excited about the table side baked potato, but the add ins are in large chunks and was more hoopla than tasty. The steak flight for 375 was a total disappointment. It had a lot of gristle on the end slices and was over salted. We didn't eat a fraction of the steak. Our server didn't ask if it was ok, just said she'd box it up, at that point we were over it. Loved hemlock so much! Filet mignon was something I think of often and desire to go back once a week for I didn't love the bar seating area as it was very loud and high top tables. But food made up for that. In the future I'll make a reservation for the normal booth area. read more

OVERPRICED - MEDIOCRE FOOD - MEDIOCRE DINING EXPERIENCE Everywhere I would go before Hemlock: Chandler's, Ruth's Chris, Indian Creek, even Sizzler. Expect to spend $250-$300 for dinner for two. For that price, you'd think you'd get more than just nickel-and-dimed from start to finish. It was mediocre across the board. The steak shows up solo on a plain white plate -- no sides, no garnish, no seasoning. Just a dry, overcooked fillet mignon. The bread felt like a grocery store roll sitting in melted butter. Only thing that stood out was the tomato bisque -- solid, but it's tomato soup. We waited two months for this reservation and got seated next to the kitchen entrance. If we walked in, sure. But with a reservation? Come on. Drinks came out sticky, water never refilled, plates sat forever. Plenty of staff around, but somehow no one noticed the table. Either lower your prices or raise your standards -- this place is way off the mark. read more

My family took me to Hemlock for Father's Day, and we had our brunch reservation at 12:30 PM. The menu was brunch-focused, with a few nice lunch options and several creative, upscale breakfast plates. Dishes like the fancy "French" toast with ricotta cheese and pistachios and the huckleberry pancakes definitely caught our eye. My wife and daughter has these... My son and I both ordered the Prime Rib "French" Dip, and it was outstanding. The meat was exceptionally high quality, tender, flavorful, and far better than what you might find at your average spot. This was clearly a cut above. We glanced at the cocktail list, and while it was a bit early in the day for us, the drinks sounded and looked fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back for dinner to try them out. The interior has a unique vibe with a stylish blend of retro and contemporary. The staff was very friendly, and the service was great. Heads-up: Don't ask for Ranch or Heinz, Hemlock makes their own dressings, fry sauce, and even the ketchup, which is a cool touch that fits their unique approach to everything on the menu (they did make me a "Ranch", but it mostly tasted like dill). All good. If you're looking for a meal that's out of the ordinary, Hemlock delivers. Every dish seems to come with a creative twist, and the overall experience is fresh and memorable. So overpriced. I couldn't believe when I saw the bill that the 4 person steak sampler (not priced on the menu) was $435. I wasn't even full, and the sides (which we were told were "sharable") were so small, I felt guilt even taking my 1/4th. Never again. read more

We arrived for happy hour around 5pm on a Saturday and they were very busy. We put our name in and waited in the lobby of the hotel where they allowed us to purchase appetizers and drinks while we waited, which is such fantastic thing to offer while you wait for your table. Around 5:20pm we were sat and shortly after put in our dinner order. We were sharing the happy hour burger and fries and that arrived rather quickly yet we still had not received our meatball appetizer. We asked a few times about it and were told the kitchen is really backed up on their meatballs. It took about 50-60 minutes to finally get those. Since we were splitting the burger they actually cut it in half and divided it on two separate plates for us which was so sweet. The fries are fabulous! Hot, crispy, and packed full of flavor. The burger was Delicious too! Be prepared it is a messy burger but worth all the mess! The Hemlock burger sauce is delightful and the bun was fresh! Meatballs were just mediocre in my opinion. There was just a little too much salt sprinkled on them and after eating that amazing burger I wasn't throughly impressed with the meatballs. The waitstaff while we waited in the lobby was amazing as well as at our table. They were both just so kind and upbeat that it was refreshing when they stopped by to check on us. The manager did come over and speak with us about the extremely long wait on the meatballs and took the meatballs off our tab for the inconvenience. We were mulling over if it was worth it to come back but with the manager coming by to speak to us, the kind waitstaff, and the outstanding burger and fries, it swayed us to decide we would be back in the future!! The ambience is great for a girls night or a date night. It is a bit loud on a Saturday but not too loud where you cannot hear your dinner party across the table. I had the absolute pleasure of being invited to Hemlock's pre-launch dinner in downtown Boise, and it just so happened to fall on our 3-year anniversary, which made it feel that much more aligned and special. From the moment we walked up to the glowing marquee lights and stepped into the velvet-and-leather glow of the entryway, it felt like a whole vibe...moody, elegant, and cinematic in the best way. The drinks? Next level. We started with the Capitol Martini, which came with a literal cloud of martini brine air floating on top. It was delicate, salty in a perfect way, and honestly made the whole experience feel extra. The Appaloosa Pear was one of my favorite- light, gingery, with pear and maple undertones and this subtle mint finish that made it super refreshing. Think fall meets spa water meets cocktail bar. The Mountain Bluebird was such a surprise, made with local huckleberry, lemon, and egg white. It had this smooth citrusy foam on top with a floral, almost ethereal finish that paired beautifully with the salad. And to close out the night, the Carajillo- which has espresso, Licor 43, chai tea, and maple syrup. If you love an after-dinner drink that leans rich and smoky but still has that creamy coffee finish..this is the one. That one sip was like... exhale. Let's talk food. To start, we shared the Steak Tartare, layered over crispy duck fat potatoes and topped with a quail egg. Not only was it gorgeous on the plate, but the texture contrast of the warm crunch underneath and the chilled tartare on top? Unreal. Hands down the best tartare I've had in Boise, and maybe even beyond. Next came the Wedge Salad, which I expected to be a classic but their version completely elevated it. The blue cheese dressing was dill-forward, herby, and surprisingly light. The cherry tomatoes, red onions, and thick-cut bacon brought balance without overpowering. For our main, we split the 16 oz Prime Ribeye, cooked medium rare, and topped it with their creamy, house-made Peppercorn Hemlock Steak Sauce. The meat was tender and flavorful, and that sauce added the perfect kick of warmth and richness. And the Shells & Cheese with lobster? Just indulgent. Buttery, cheesy, creamy, with lobster flavor folded throughout. It's one of those comfort food sides that are a must to indulge in! Every dish had intention behind it. Every drink had depth. And the entire space, from the dramatic lighting to the signature branding, felt like the kind of place you come back to for anniversaries, celebrations, or just when you want to feel like you're somewhere that gets it. I finally got around to trying Hemlock out with my husband for a date night! I was very impressed with our experience and the food we ordered. The staff were all very professional and made sure that we had a top tier experience. We started with the bread service, which was served with a delicious butter. We then split the Caesar salad and both loved it! They even put some freshly grated egg yolk on top and that was a lovely touch. We saw the potato for two and knew we had to try it out. I would say that the price point of the potato is high, however, you truly do get so much out of it. They have so many toppings to choose from and it was honestly incredible. I came in thinking I would never order a $40 baked potato and now leaving can't wait to get it again. For our entrees we got the Ribeye and the New York strip. Both steaks were so flavorful and melted in your mouth. We loved our dinner here! read more

I took nine people to dinner and two people ordered the pork chop. It was very fatty. About half of the pork chop was fat. The ribeye had good flavor, but was about half an inch thick. The duck fat potatoes were just fried thin, sliced potato. Tasted like any other kind of fried potato. The potato at the table was the best part of the meal. My review is 4.5 stars.! Great service really excellent Not snooty just warm and friendly. The bread service is good if you love butter! We tried it our first time and checked that off, we will skip in future visits. I had a filet med rare and it was better than Chandlers. I will try again next visit and hopefully it will be the same. My husband had the halibut and it was excellent also. Love the potatoes and broccoli rabe. Drinks were fine. We didn't try any speciality ones. read more
