After an early morning drop-off at the airport, we ducked into Folcroft Diner for breakfast. More times than not I order something non-breakfast-y for my first meal of the day. Today was no exception. Their grilled chicken sandwich was not what I hoped for. On the plus side, it was a generous portion of chicken, most of which I took home. As a negative -- at least for me -- I like a flat filet, with grill marks. This was "chunky," rendering it clumsy to eat. It simply didn't taste grilled at all. And the chicken was dry. T ordered a country omelet that was filled with breakfast meats, cheddar and peppers. Though not my thing, I agreed it was pretty good. His grits were creamy, buttery and delicious. Coffee is strong and served in the old-fashioned heavy mugs that I favor. Our server was friendly. ("Where are you from?" she asked, picking up on my Brooklyn accent.) I asked if Greek lemon soup is ever on the menu. She said that the owners are Turkish, then gave me a rundown of their specialties, all of which sound delish. (Alas, no avgolemono.) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Folcroft. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is clean -- as pointed out by another Yelper AND our waitress. If you order the right thing, you'll no doubt be pleased.

I arrived in Philly and was very hungry. My day started at 330am. This was during the Microsoft issue in July '24. The airlines had tons of cancelations and late arrivals. I was supposed to arrive at 9am, but ended up arriving at around 2pm. It's was too late for breakfast at most places. Well, not here. They serve breakfast all day long. This is a big, busy diner. I love these places. This place did not disappoint. I ordered the cornbeef hash, potatoes, and eggs. The meal came out and it was a lot of food. It was probably enough for two people. I was hungry, so I ate it all. Piggy piggy. It was as good or better than i expected. This breakfast at a hotel or some of the other restaurants would have been $20+ . Not at Folcroft. Even with the tip, I didn't go over $20. The wait staff was very attentive, and everyone worked together. The place was nice and clean. Everyone was nice. I will be coming back again.

The service was great! The food was very good! The restaurant was very clean. I had the cream chipped beef which I loved. My husband had a big breakfast with pancakes, french toast, eggs, hash browns, bacon & sausage. He liked everything except the bacon. He said it was too greasy. We will definitely be back.

The Food was amazing. My only problem is that my home fries were not crunchy, everyone else had crunchy home fries, even the toddler. ):

If you leave this place hungry it's not their fault. The Folcroft Diner Serves up exceptional comfort food in a comfortable diner setting. Reasonable prices are the norm here! Service is great. Kind and caring wait staff. Their daily specials are always super tasty at a great price. I sometimes get another meal out of their specials so that's double the fun! You'll never do you wrong coming here for a meal.

Stuffed Mushrooms

A decent diner but not award winning like I had heard. We took a longer drive to get here than I would've for a basic diner. Tried the stuffed mushrooms they were good but basically crab cakes on a mushroom. Sweet potato veggie was delicious. French onion soup was also good but nothing special.

JEEZ LOUISE ! This place is Astronomical omg!! You definitely have to try the french toast. I took one bite and almost passed out from excitement !!! The waffle was PACKED with flavor! Talk about 5 star dining! The waitress is someone I'll always remember, super personable and very attentive!

Cheesesteak Omelette

One of my favorite places to go to is a diner. 90% of the time the food is exactly what you need. It's quick and comes with a coffee that just feels familiar. You sit down in the booth with the paper place mat with the local ads and you are instantly transported to the heart of whatever city you are in. The staff is super friendly and attentive for the fact that it's a busy spot with only about a handful on staff. I got the Cheesesteak Omelette since I'm in Philly and it was great. Exactly what you picture in your mind it is. The home fries are crispy and seasoned well, but ketchup takes it up a notch. If you are looking for a good breakfast spot make this on your list.

Almost always crowded due to deals and the good food they serve here. I would recommend this place at least once to try food.

I had just the nicest time at the Broadway Bar and Grill…read more First, I love the location -- a genuine Philly outskirts neighborhood sense of place. Locals, families, sports fans. A down-to-earth watering hole. Cozy, even. I loved our table, a nice high-top in the corner. I guess my only complaint is that it took a little while to be seated. It was Sunday night dinner rush, L get it, but I waited by the door long enough to wonder whether anyone was going to notice me. But it was worth the wait. For a place that comes off as a bar, the meal they served me checked all the boxes -- oysters from the raw bar first, then a tender New York strip, with a generous side of Jack Daniels. Everything was perfect. Our server Jake was a real pro, the best. You could tell they were all a great team. When a drink I ordered appeared on the bar but had not yet been delivered, someone stepped up and brought it to me. Service! Something that surprised me. Though I was totally into my dinner, looking around, it struck me that the place looked exceptionally clean. I mean, excceptional, something they should be proud of. But above all, I could not have enjoyed the food more. The oysters, excellent. So good I ordered a second dozen for desert. An entirely enjoyable and satisfying experience. You'll find it worth your while.

My husband liked a beer and would've gotten a second one, but the waitress never made it back to us at that point. I, of course, came to a brewery and ordered their apple cider margarita. There was a lot of ice. Too much ice. Not much drink. Didn't hurt that much because the drink was just ok. My kids crushed the pretzel. It was huge and my one kid discovered a love of cheese along with it. My spouse got the Cuban, which is a little dry, but pretty in line with Cuban expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the pickle burger with double patties, enough meat that I also shared bit of it with the kids. My kid dipped the patty in the pretzel cheese. My spouse had read that it took a while for food to come out, but it came out pretty speedy for us. We also ordered the crab dip, but it came out at the same time as our main course so we didn't eat much. Taking that sucker home. Besides the pretzel, the variety of spaces here are the main highlight. Again, disclaimer being this is coming from someone who didn't come to a brewery to drink beer.

The outdoor patio has 3 TV's, a bar, ample seating, beautiful botanical walls and fire pits. It's truly a cozy vibe. We had the pleasure of having Branden as our server and hands down, he's awesome! Great personality and attentive but not overbearing. He explained the bartender was backed-up and let us know it was going to be a little wait for our cocktails. I appreciate honest communication and setting of expectations. What We ordered: Buffalo Shrimp - the shrimp were Jumbo and they had a pleasing presentation and taste. They were room temperature as if they had been sitting but we still njoyed them. Calimari & Shrimp - These were hot and delicious Cheesteak Eggrolls - These were hot and very flavorful. The dining room is beautifully decorated--perfectly lit for an evening meal with warm, cozy candlelit tables. The seating is spaced comfortably apart, allowing for private conversation, especially on a night that isn't overly crowded. It's an ideal spot for date night. The restaurant is BYOB, and I noticed they also offer mocktails on the menu. We began with soup. The lobster bisque was savory and flavorful, featuring a plump piece of lobster in the center. The New England clam chowder was also thoroughly enjoyed. There's a wide selection of entrées, and we appreciated the recommendations on the most popular dishes. In addition to steak, poultry, and seafood, the menu also includes a section dedicated to vegan entrées. I ordered the lump crab cake as my entrée, and we also had the fried red snapper. Although the crab cake was lump rather than jumbo lump, it was well seasoned and not overloaded with filler. It was generously sized, filling, and served with a citrus remoulade that complemented it nicely. The whole red snapper was a generous market-priced portion, perfectly coated and fried. The fish was moist, flavorful, and cooked just right--not overdone. Each entrée is thoughtfully garnished; the red snapper was served with fried plantain and mango salsa, which paired beautifully. Sides are served à la carte. We chose the lobster mac and cheese and sautéed spinach. We also ordered the calamari a bit later but enjoyed it before our entrées arrived. It was crispy and drizzled with a sauce that balanced sweetness with a subtle kick of heat. The lobster mac and cheese featured pasta (think it was cavatappi) in a rich, creamy cheese like gouda, topped with a generous piece of lobster. The sautéed spinach was lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly, complementing the meal well. Overall, the dishes were well balanced and full of flavor. We didn't have room for dessert this time, but on our next visit I'd love to try either the butter cake or the bread pudding

It appears on first glance when going inside that it used to be some other place but I am not sure what, and when we were there it seemed that it was empty. Like devoid of people whatsoever. There was our server, and I'm not sure if someone was even in the kitchen, but there had to be because our order was being prepared by someone. This is actually good, because that morning was a dragging one and having it nice and quiet with almost not distraction was absolutely wonderful! What I like about B&B is also what kind of sets it back just a bit, but I think this place is on the rise, and as it gains popularity, this will start to be talked about around southeast Delco and definitely and up a go-to spot. There are complaints in some of the reviews here that the food is "underseasoned" which is something that I would like to argue wholeheartedly. Breakfast is very subjective; especially standard American breakfast staples like omelets, eggs and bacon platters, waffles. However, that is where the underuse of season here is actually a smart strategy. Most of these dishes would be seasoned with salt, pepper, or by some, butter or hot sauce. All these items are readily available and placed on the table in food quantity so that the diner can easily bring their meal to the exact taste that they enjoy. In doing this thought, nothing really shines here. It is all very good, but nothing it really unique. And that is good thing especially when you are looking for a place to enjoy breakfast that's a down-home style meal and you don't want to have to cook. I will definitely be back again for another homestyle breakfast in the future, and the prices are more than reasonable. If you live in the area this is a great place to frequent for a breakfast you would make yourself or would expect to have if you stopped home for the day.
