Came here for a late night meal on a Sunday. It was very calm and we were seated immediately. Food Bread is provided as you wait for your meal. The food was okay. I got a chicken Caesar salad and had tomatoes added. The chicken was seasoned well and was very tasty (my favorite part of the salad). The lettuce used however, was not the freshest. I ended up eating mostly just chicken. I also ordered hot wings. I underestimated how spicy they would be. This diner really adds a kick to it so if truly spicy wings are your thing, go for it. My dad got the chicken parm with fries and asparagus (interesting combo..I know). It came with a salad and dessert. His salad had fresh good looking ingredients and he got the jello at the end of the meal. He enjoyed everything but the asparagus. Service Casey was our waitress and was lovely. She was very helpful and worked hard to find the answers to the questions we had. I had to swap a couple things out of my order and she was very accommodating. Atmosphere This place is nice overall but some of the booths could use some upholstering. It is a family friendly place and most of the workers are very friendly. I would return to this diner as my dad really liked it. They have a lot of good looking options on the menu so hopefully I can find something else that I may like. read more

Great little diner -- good food, ambience is great. Always seated promptly. Last few visits we were served by Duncan who is an amazing waitress. She has lots of suggestions on what to eat and is never wrong about them! Had a monte cristo last night for the first time. Delicious. With onion rings. This diner was near a party a friend & I attended. A little tipsy & hungry we came here for breakfast at 2am. It was quiet & clean & our waitress was very attentive. I ordered the 3 eggs & crabcake (broiled), it came with home fries (added onions & peppers for .75) and toast. Everything was really good kinda wished the home fries were a bit more crispy but the crabcake was EXCELLENT, all lump meat & served with melted butter & lemon. I was full after eating half & took the rest to go. I killed the leftovers before writing this review lol. I don't live in the area but if I'm ever around I'll be back for more! read more

Ordered chicken salad. Grilled chicken was not at all fresh. Broccoli was not steamed properly. Chicken did not have flavor. I told this sincerely to the waitress, when she asked if I liked the salad. Her attitude was absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. We all have different tastes she said. One person likes it, while another doesn't. While I was leaving, she said, who orders salad for dinner anyways. I wouldn't write this review, had it been just a bad food. This place is open 24 hours. It is a bright and inviting place to come and eat. The service is really good. They always check if you need anything. It's always clean. I've been here many times. So far they are consistent. You can view the menu to see if it's to your liking. They offer more than just breakfast and lunch so there is bound to be something that you'll like on the menu. I've had breakfast here a few times now. The good is that most of the items taste pretty good and they're plentiful. The waitstaff is generally quite friendly. The downside, their kitchen has made several mistakes in our orders. From items being prepared wrong to wrong items being brought out, it's happened more than once. Ok so first impression is everything, this place is big I was impressed they they are even 24/7 what that's a big deal for me. I bit disappointed that they don't have turkey back so that took the option of breakfast away from me all together that what I wanted. As a helper of course I decided to sit by the kitchen to see what all comes out and I must say everything looks great. I used to like this place. I'd always order the Greek salad and ask for no onions or anchovies. Today when I ordered it, I was told the dressing is made with anchovies. How disappointing that of all the times I've ordered it without anchovies, I've never been told they are in the dressing. So after looking at the menu again, I asked the waitress if there are onions in their chicken salad or potato salad. She said oh no, they don't put onions in those, I'd have to ask specifically for onions. So of course when they brought my salad platter, there were 4 raw onion slices on top, plus chopped red onion mixed into the potato salad. We won't be returning here. read more

Had a meal with my in-laws here because they live in Delco. The diner was busy for a late Sunday morning, as would be expected. We were seated briskly, which I appreciated since there really isn't room to wait for your table. Our table was in what appeared to be an addition to the space in the very back of the restaurant. It was grossly humid and I felt bad for the poor wait-staff, who were running around like crazy and visibly dripping sweat as they refilled coffees and took orders. The food is typical diner-fare. I had the creamed chipped beef and there was a lot of cream and beef, but only one piece of soggy white bread. I would have preferred two pieces of crisp toast, but after waiting about 45 minutes for our food, I wasn't going to complain. The bathroom was visibly in need of a thorough clean. I won't go into details... I'm not from Delco (thank God), but if I were, I'd strive to find a better place to eat and you should too. read more

THIS PLACE HAS POOR SANITATION STANDARDS Food: 4.5-stars Service: 2.5-stars (hit or a miss) Sanitation: negative stars It is definitely a curse sometimes to know everything there is to food safety + sanitation, with certificates + all. However, definitely valuable when you witness almost everyone in the kitchen, including the servers who butter up your toast, without gloves + no hair restraints handling ready to eat food (against code). My recent visit, while waiting in line, I was so shocked to see only one person in the kitchen with gloves on, others handling food without, people touching their pens + hair/clothing without washing their hands serving food. I was pretty disgusted and it takes a lot to gross me out. I can guarantee they'd hit some violations if a health inspector rolled through any day. Usually service is pretty decent, we've encountered three very solid servers over the course of at least a dozen visits so far. The rest have been typical, nothing special but nothing bad either, except this last time. I don't think our server could handle the breakfast rush + paid very little attention to us. We had to constantly ask for refills on coffee + we were asked to remind her to put in an order for takeaway... Maybe I'm entitled but the last time I checked in the world of service + hospitality is that we're paying for a service... Diners should be able to enjoy their meals with their company, not be worried about when to put in an order. read more

Responding to the owner who left a comment: 1) Yes, I have the correct diner. It was your "Chopped Steak". (Similar to a Salisbury steak.) 2) I don't know what to tell you. The onions were rotten. They smelled like horribly rotten onions, to the extreme. It was obvious. If you leave sauteed onions in a pile at room temperature for two weeks - that's what the smell was. 3) I didn't "report it to management" because it was a "to go" order, and I experienced this at home. I assure you, it was legitimate, and I also assure you, you've lost a lot of customers since then, as a result of my recommendations against you. Good luck with you next response. read more

Excellent as far as diners in this area. Fantastic staff and great prices. All dinners come with soup or salad, vegetables and dessert. The meatloaf platter is 11 bucks and humongous, enough for 2 meals. Salads are really good. We will be back. read more

This was a good surprise. We made it back to Philly from NE PA and struggled to find a place that sounded good and where we could sit down and be served in the vicinity of the airport. This little diner was a throwback to old style diners with a huge menu, breakfast served all day and servers that seemed to want to take care of you. I tried the Philly Cheesesteak after thinking you couldn't get a good one in Philly after our experience at Pat's and was pleasantly surprised. It needed more cheese, quite a bit in fact, but the bun was nice, there was lots of meat, peppers and onions and it had good taste. Pat's could take a lesson from them. I asked for no sausage or tomatoes in my omelette but got exactly that and my friend got my order instead. Food was decent but lacked flavor. Came here this evening for dinner with the hubby. I had the open faced roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. The roast beef was deliciously tender, and I just loved the gravy!
