Their ad shows they close at 5pm, but when I stopped by at 12 noon, they told me they were closing just because it was raining and they didn't want to pay for labor to stay there since business was slow. Super pleased that Honolulu has a touchless car wash bay that is easy to access. As timing should happen, I was parked near Ward Ave. and when I returned to my car, it was hard not to notice a humongaloid sized bird dropping across the hood and windshield. Poor bird must have had a mean sore stomach! Fortunately I heard about this touchless car wash and it was nearby. I pulled into the driveway and was signaled to enter the wash bay. A gentleman with the water spray knew exactly why I was there and proceeded to rinse off what the sick bird left. After a very thorough rinse by a careful person, the machine started the touchless foam wash. Within minutes the foam was rinsed off and I was signaled to move my car out of the bay and over to the drying area. I exited my car and met the owner, paid for the service, and waited for the dryers to hand dry my car. So fresh and so clean!! Thank you Benjamin and Team for your excellent auto care. Tried the touchless car wash here for the first time. The wash itself did a decent job, but the drying and wipe-down left a lot to be desired. The team didn't wipe the exterior thoroughly--especially the windshield, which still had noticeable water streaks and marks. I also saw them drop rags, shake them off, and continue using them on vehicles, which isn't reassuring for paint care. Overall, the wash was okay, but the finishing touches definitely need improvement. read more

I have been here three times. Twice for a car wash, and the third to clear some swirls on my hood. The owner is great in explaining stuff. Most of the employees speak Chinglish. I had to ask "what" twice before I understood that one of the employees was asking if I wanted my car warkumed. I understood finally when he grabbed the vacuum cleaner hose and motioned. The system is considered a touchless car wash because you drive your vehicle into a bay and high pressure jets use detergent and water to get the grime off your vehicle. After your car is finished in the bay, you reverse and drive a few feet over to another area where several employees use the most big-ass yellow microfiber towels to dry your car. When I took my car in to remove the swirls, the owner said it would take an hour or so. It actually took only 25 minutes and looked great. It was so quick that I didn't even finish my coffee boba at Mr. Tea Cafe across the street. I am making this my go to car wash. Recommended !!! read more

If you're like me I don't like washing my cars. Looked them up on Yelp and saw amazing reviews. I had bird poo poo all over my car and decided to try this place. Wasn't expecting for it to all come off but was pleasantly surprised that the poop did all come off. For $30 and roughly 15 min later the car was done. I would hope to make this my regular car wash spot but the last time I was there, I wasn't impressed as I had to clean my car after the car wash for some missing spots. The moonroof glass was not wiped down at all with water spots so I went home and wiped it with Windex and that took care of it right away. Honestly it's really just a quick wipe down that would only take 1 minute. And had they used a different vacuum head with a brush, the dirt that's stuck in the car fabric might be able to come off, which was what I did when I got home with my Dyson. As I am aware, I know there is no wipe down of interior unless it's hand wash. I understand because the space is small and cars can't park for too long, but if that's the case then I might just go to another car wash where they are willing to spend just a little more time (honestly probably just a few more minutes) to wipe down the dust on hard surfaces in the interior of my car. I understand businesses have their own rules and pricing but as a customer, I just don't see a point to pay for a car wash to have myself pick up where it's left off when I get home. It's not about what services are included in the price anymore, it's about how thorough the job is for the services that they do offer. The staff who guided me to the bay wash, who towel dried and vacuumed my car, were all very nice. I could see they're trying to clean as much as possible but it seemed like they're under a time constraint to get cars out so they couldn't do much in the end. So I still tipped them for the amount of time they spent and the work they did for my car. The car wash came with tire shine. It's nice that that's included, but for my personal need, I think I'd opt for a quick towel wipe down or a more thorough wash than to have something sprayed on my tire... but that's just me. Maybe some customers prefer that then this would be a good place to come. They have a garage next to the wash that offers detailing as well. read more

There is a shortage of touchless car washes on Oahu. I refuse to take my car to a brush car wash because it will leave swirls and damage your paint. I usually wash it myself at a self service wash, but sometimes I just don't have time. The exterior touchless clean and dry is 5 stars. An initial manual presoak, followed by a touchless automatic, finished with a hand towel wipe down to prevent spots. Great. The interior cleaning is pretty much a vacuum of seats and carpets. It is a decent 3 star once over but they don't do things like clean the interior windows, wipe down the dash, or take out your carpets to vacuum around/underneath. The staff is uniformed and professional. All in all I would recommend and I will return. read more

I still stand by my opinion of this place, this place is certainly a step above your typical car wash, just not safe due to the possibility of micro-scratches/swirls. A car is a major part of a person's life, it only makes sense to be curious and ensure that whatever work is done on one's car will protect it. Other businesses I see around the island are proud of the products they use and often showcase their work for all to see. Not disclosing your products used is fine but really leaves room for skepticism, so I'd say it's not "trust" that customers feel when they come here, it's more like naivety or cluelessness. Anyway, still not answering the question about your washing process is also quite concerning as well. That's not even something that needs to be kept secret. It's interesting to see that what it takes to get a response from you is criticism and it's a response made purely out of the intent to defend your rating. Reading over your response, one thing sticks. "If you don't trust our work then we don't need your business." No effort is being made to build that trust. I brought my wife's car here about a year ago and they did a fabulous job however it appears ownership has changed as when I brought my car in today for an interior detailing (which took 3hours and $180 I was very disappointed with the results. All they did what appeared to be was a cursory cleaning and I had to point out several missed stains etc. The did "attempt" to re-clean these missed areas but still no where near to the satisfaction I expected or experienced previously. Today I writing this review just to let anybody know that don't get rip off from this new business owner. Benjamin is no longer on this place. I used to bring my car for car care and car wash here all year round when Ben is the owner here, I find now they've been changed a new owner when two months ago I bought my car to have a car wash here and one skinny Chinese man handling the cashier. Charge me a higher price and when I ask him my Hyundai Elantra is a compact sedan and he charges a large car prices then he looked at my car. Oh, I make a mistake. I will keep your refund on the credit card, but after two months passed by I don't see any refund to my credit card account and I just forget about it. There's no big deal there's only a few dollars and I always tipping the workers five dollars but also to me I think the new business owner should be honest to keep the old customer coming back after that I never went back and all this time I went to McKinney car wash until today. I need to take my car go ahead a car wash, but unfortunately McKinney car wash closed for a week during the mechanical problem so I decided to give Foamatic a second chance to bring my car wash there but guess what the same skinny Chinese man he charged me a higher price instead a compact sedan and when I confront him why you charge me a large car price and he act kind of stupid or he think I stupid. He looked at my car then and he tried to change the price in the computer, but not success. Then he looked at other lady and asked the other lady to help then one local lady came I think she either a manager or a co-partner and try to work on POS but also not success. I think the system only can collect money but cannot refund money. Then the lady looked at me and change the subject or your car look a little bit larger. That's why we charge you that price. that's the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. I told her I've been came here before but in 20 time at the car wash and they charged me a compact sedan also I went to McKinney car wash they charged me a compact sedans I don't know is her eyes ball bigger or my car growing bigger when you doing a auto detailing business, you know what is a compact what is a midsize? What is a large car? everybody know Hyundai ELANTRA is a compact and Hyundai Sonata is a midsize car that even said in my owner title. I told this to owner you like to rip me off for a few dollars that's fine. That's my last time. I will have my car wash here and I will let everybody know. How are you guys doing business. read more

Just finished my second visit with the Express Handwash. My exterior was quite dusty as I have to consistently drive through active construction sites nowadays. My car is sooo clean! I cannot tell if my interior was too dirty to qualify for the quick vacuum service, or if that is something I needed to add on and forgot to. To my memory, it's as dirty as last time but then again, this is not my area of expertise! Overall, I would highly recommend this car wash.
