This place is great! I had been a die-hard McKinley's girl forever, but since my new car has ceramic coating it's recommended to use touch-less washes, so here we are! Great location (just a few blocks from McKinleys) on Ward, on the side street across Ward from the Patagonia store. The lot is small, only fits 4 or 5 cars in driveway - but I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get started. (I used the time to gather up all my junk so they could thoroughly clean the interior). Service absolutely is fantastic. You drive yourself into the washing bay under the direction of the service guy. Then you back out and park under the sunshades so the team can hand dry the exterior and all door jams, AND then thoroughly vacuum out the interior. They ask you to step out at sit at provided table (under shade) or pay for service while they're doing all that. There's a service charge for using credit card that is waived if you pay cash. (SUV $29+tax) A tip box is provided on the wall - fill that baby up because these folks are so deserving! Bottom line - excellent service, location, price, and so quick and easy! read more

So I did not get my car washed there but thought customer service and organization for scheduling was bad. I'm looking for hand wash so I call and the person who answers says "Oh just bring it by, if it's not a detail you can just pull up" So I pull up. The guy then says "Oh you need an appointment" I said oh the guy just called said I didn't need an appointment to pull up.. then he says " oh, that was me." Then he tells me to wait and says he probably won't have time for it today if I can come back tomorrow. So I said what time? Then he says 12. I said how long does it take? He said 45- 1 hr. I said OK that works if I can get out because I have a doctor appointment at 1:20pm. Then he said " oh, just bring it by after" so I said what time? Then he says " or maybe on Saturday" I'm like huh?? I said I'm trying to get a car wash today or tomorrow then he says " oh, you can just go McKinley then." I'm not usually a complainer, but the whole interaction was just so irritating and the person I was interacting with just gave off IDGAF vibes, puffing on his vape and then just telling me to go somewhere else. Bummers because location wise they were convenient and if service was good I would have been a repeat customer. read more

My car sat for a little under 2 months while we were out of the country and I just had my tires changed so my car was hella dirty. I was near Ward and recalled Peter Y mentioning he got his car washed at Foamatic Auto Care. His car is always shiny and clean so I wanted to give Foamatic Auto Care a try. Not to mention my car desperately needed a wash. When you arrive, you'll notice a line of cars. I was told if you're lucky, there is no line and you're in and out super fast. It's a small lot with two bays. You line up to get in and the staff guides you on where to go. The signs say to stay inside your car the entire time you're in the bay. After you pull out, you drive under the tents where they hand dry your car and dress your tires. When they hand dry your vehicle, you exit the vehicle to let them clean the inside and vacuum. This is the best time to pay and tip the staff. That's it, you're in and out for a quick wash! It's not detailing your car and don't expect it to be 100% clean but it's good enough for the very inexpensive price. read more

Foamatic did an outstanding job. Ben, the owner, clearly takes pride in his work and it shows in every detail. The service was professional, efficient, and the results exceeded my expectations. My vehicle looked fantastic when they were done. What really sets this place apart is Ben--great guy, easy to work with, and genuinely cares about his customers. You don't always find that level of personal service anymore. Ben is a personal hero! Highly recommend Foamatic Auto Care LLC. I'll definitely be back. read more

Just had my first full detailing done, interior & exterior. Incredible work guys. My car feels like a spaceship it's so clean, inside and out. I live and work next to construction sites so the dust has been particularly terrible. But it's all gone now! My favorite car wash business on the island. I recommend them to all my friends. read more

Super pleased that Honolulu has a touchless car wash bay that is easy to access. As timing should happen, I was parked near Ward Ave. and when I returned to my car, it was hard not to notice a humongaloid sized bird dropping across the hood and windshield. Poor bird must have had a mean sore stomach! Fortunately I heard about this touchless car wash and it was nearby. I pulled into the driveway and was signaled to enter the wash bay. A gentleman with the water spray knew exactly why I was there and proceeded to rinse off what the sick bird left. After a very thorough rinse by a careful person, the machine started the touchless foam wash. Within minutes the foam was rinsed off and I was signaled to move my car out of the bay and over to the drying area. I exited my car and met the owner, paid for the service, and waited for the dryers to hand dry my car. So fresh and so clean!! Thank you Benjamin and Team for your excellent auto care. So glad that you're in town with this great service :) read more

My kids decided to squiggie the entire the car while this mama was putting gas which led to dirt streaks all over my windows and car. So I had an hour to run errands the next day and washing my car became a top priority!! lol. I googled for locations near me discovering this place and am so glad I did! What a great option at a reasonable price. You wait in line for your turn with someone motioning if you would need to move forward. I paid while my car was being dried with a light quick vacuum for $29. I am very happy with this option!! read more

Bad experience with them. Their ad shows they close at 5pm, but when I stopped by at 12 noon, they told me they were closing just because it was raining and they didn't want to pay for labor to stay there since business was slow. They even told me to go to another detail shop. Lol... unbelievable. I've always gone to this shop to clean my Turo business cars, but since they're not reliable and don't run their business the way they're supposed to, I won't be using this shop for my business anymore. read more

Tried the touchless car wash here for the first time. The wash itself did a decent job, but the drying and wipe-down left a lot to be desired. The team didn't wipe the exterior thoroughly--especially the windshield, which still had noticeable water streaks and marks. I also saw them drop rags, shake them off, and continue using them on vehicles, which isn't reassuring for paint care. Overall, the wash was okay, but the finishing touches definitely need improvement. read more

I have been here three times. Twice for a car wash, and the third to clear some swirls on my hood. The owner is great in explaining stuff. Most of the employees speak Chinglish. I had to ask "what" twice before I understood that one of the employees was asking if I wanted my car warkumed. I understood finally when he grabbed the vacuum cleaner hose and motioned. The system is considered a touchless car wash because you drive your vehicle into a bay and high pressure jets use detergent and water to get the grime off your vehicle. After your car is finished in the bay, you reverse and drive a few feet over to another area where several employees use the most big-ass yellow microfiber towels to dry your car. When I took my car in to remove the swirls, the owner said it would take an hour or so. It actually took only 25 minutes and looked great. It was so quick that I didn't even finish my coffee boba at Mr. Tea Cafe across the street. I am making this my go to car wash. Recommended !!! read more

If you're like me I don't like washing my cars. Looked them up on Yelp and saw amazing reviews. I had bird poo poo all over my car and decided to try this place. Wasn't expecting for it to all come off but was pleasantly surprised that the poop did all come off. For $30 and roughly 15 min later the car was done. Keep in mind depending on the day there may be a wait. It's really a good value for someone in a hurry. Will definitely be back. Mahalo. read more

I would hope to make this my regular car wash spot but the last time I was there, I wasn't impressed as I had to clean my car after the car wash for some missing spots. The moonroof glass was not wiped down at all with water spots so I went home and wiped it with Windex and that took care of it right away. Honestly it's really just a quick wipe down that would only take 1 minute. And had they used a different vacuum head with a brush, the dirt that's stuck in the car fabric might be able to come off, which was what I did when I got home with my Dyson. As I am aware, I know there is no wipe down of interior unless it's hand wash. I understand because the space is small and cars can't park for too long, but if that's the case then I might just go to another car wash where they are willing to spend just a little more time (honestly probably just a few more minutes) to wipe down the dust on hard surfaces in the interior of my car. I understand businesses have their own rules and pricing but as a customer, I just don't see a point to pay for a car wash to have myself pick up where it's left off when I get home. It's not about what services are included in the price anymore, it's about how thorough the job is for the services that they do offer. The staff who guided me to the bay wash, who towel dried and vacuumed my car, were all very nice. I could see they're trying to clean as much as possible but it seemed like they're under a time constraint to get cars out so they couldn't do much in the end. So I still tipped them for the amount of time they spent and the work they did for my car. The car wash came with tire shine. It's nice that that's included, but for my personal need, I think I'd opt for a quick towel wipe down or a more thorough wash than to have something sprayed on my tire... but that's just me. Maybe some customers prefer that then this would be a good place to come. They have a garage next to the wash that offers detailing as well. read more

Excellent. No complaint. Very reasonably priced. I like the basic wash which is less than 30 dollar. Does not give any scratch.

Great no touch car wash service plus a dry and lovely vacuum. Staff is friendly and kind

There is a shortage of touchless car washes on Oahu. I refuse to take my car to a brush car wash because it will leave swirls and damage your paint. I usually wash it myself at a self service wash, but sometimes I just don't have time. The exterior touchless clean and dry is 5 stars. An initial manual presoak, followed by a touchless automatic, finished with a hand towel wipe down to prevent spots. Great. The interior cleaning is pretty much a vacuum of seats and carpets. It is a decent 3 star once over but they don't do things like clean the interior windows, wipe down the dash, or take out your carpets to vacuum around/underneath. The staff is uniformed and professional. All in all I would recommend and I will return. read more

Driving by and saw sign on Ward. Did a quick u turn and was greeted by a friendly associate who gave me options. Guided me to the touchless wash area, then over to hand dry. They had a hand held blower to rid the access water. Interior was vacuumed and tires shined. So glad I found this place. The best service and value on the island!!! read more

I still stand by my opinion of this place, this place is certainly a step above your typical car wash, just not safe due to the possibility of micro-scratches/swirls. A car is a major part of a person's life, it only makes sense to be curious and ensure that whatever work is done on one's car will protect it. Other businesses I see around the island are proud of the products they use and often showcase their work for all to see. Not disclosing your products used is fine but really leaves room for skepticism, so I'd say it's not "trust" that customers feel when they come here, it's more like naivety or cluelessness. Anyway, still not answering the question about your washing process is also quite concerning as well. That's not even something that needs to be kept secret. It's interesting to see that what it takes to get a response from you is criticism and it's a response made purely out of the intent to defend your rating. Reading over your response, one thing sticks. "If you don't trust our work then we don't need your business." No effort is being made to build that trust. Just something to think about for anyone who comes across this post. read more

I brought my wife's car here about a year ago and they did a fabulous job however it appears ownership has changed as when I brought my car in today for an interior detailing (which took 3hours and $180 I was very disappointed with the results. All they did what appeared to be was a cursory cleaning and I had to point out several missed stains etc. The did "attempt" to re-clean these missed areas but still no where near to the satisfaction I expected or experienced previously. Simply not worth the money! Be careful. read more

Have been searching for a detailing place and finally found this place. I was a bit nervous at first as we all normally are praying and hoping that when you leave your car and pick it up that the finishing results are what you expected. So with that being said, hands down a 10/10 my car looked spotless my interior was great i had bad stains on my seats and my headlights were starting to fog. I was embarrassed washing my car and never got my car vacuumed for being embarrassed of my seats. Now i can confidently wash my car and have it vacuumed. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and the pricing is great. Mahalo Foamatic team for doing an amazing job and look forward to booking another appointment. Go Book with them now !!! This is about the best car wash I have ever been to. Driven by it 100 times and never even noticed it on the side street off Ward. I have a new 2017 Fiat Abarth that I just got ceramic coated. I live in a condo where it's hard to do a hand wash yourself. I was nervous about bringing it to most of the car washes on the island. Got the regular Foamatic automatic wash yesterday, after which three people worked on the car for like 10 minutes, leaving it sparkling. I can't even imagine what the hand wash results look like. This place rocks. Very highly recommended! read more
