They responded within minutes on Yelp to go over Tint options and availability. I got in that next weekend. I dropped off my car, walked to Ala Moana Mall for a while and the car was complete under 2 hours. They accept cash only so pull money beforehand or while you're walking around. Quality seems great no defects noticed so far. I would highly recommend. Value for ceramic tint is very reasonable and competitive. read more

I had a great experience with Mark and his team! They were responsive, reasonably priced, and had my car's window tinting done in under two hours. The shop was easy to find and there are plenty of nearby businesses, so it was easy to kill some time while I waited. Overall the process was smooth from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get their windows tinted! read more

Thank you Howard && his colleague for tinting not just my car but also my mom's. Only I was scheduled but my mom wanted a quote && he said $150 for just the front sides because the back was already tinted from the dealership. && he said, her car can get done same day && only take like half hour. Mine car got done just a little over an hour && my mom's was less than half hour. Thank you again for your hard work !! Highly recommended; super nice guy, quick && efficient read more

I reached out yesterday for this project. 2 front windows. Jeep Grand Cherokee. Received a speedy response. Price quoted upfront on this app. Saw me right away without an appointment. He was very polite & welcoming. Recommended places in town to hang out while work was being done. It was done in 45 minutes with no issues at all. No price changes after work was done. Tints matched the rear Jeep factory tints perfectly. 10/10 recommend!! Very satisfied. read more

I was deciding between this company and another bigger company... what sold me was that his business has been in the family for 20+ years now! He has a machine that pre cuts your tint according to your make and model of car. That way there's NO CUTTING ON THE WINDOW! He definitely knew his stuff and wasn't trying to just take my money. He suggested better options for me that would save me money on my tint! Great Local family business! Response is so quick, he'll text you photos and updates while working on your car too! I am going to recommend EVERYONE to this company! They treat you like family. My back window was done and ready for pick up in 40 minutes! With a FULL WARRANTY!! read more

Howard and his guys at Kamaaina Tinting are the BEST! I think Howard also wins the award for fastest responses from a business. Ever. He communicates quickly and clearly, which I really appreciate. I also have to admit that I did a dumb and was late to our scheduled appointment. I absolutely hate being late because I feel it's disrespectful to the business. I texted Howard immediately and he responded "No worries." Super chill and accommodating. I had a hard time finding it at first because I was looking at an old pic of the front of their shop (first time Google has failed me) so I had to circle a few times. But I found it, dropped off the car and walked over to Don Quijote because Howard said it would take about an hour. He texted less than 50 minutes later that they were wrapping up. I walked back, got my instructions about not rolling the windows down for at least a day, paid, and was out the door again. Super fast, super easy, super convenient. Flat rate $150 for my two front windows, and it has a solid lifetime guarantee. I would absolutely recommend Howard and Kamaaina Tinting and will be back if I ever need tinting again. read more

This review is long overdue. Made an appointment with Kamaaina Tinting through Yelp and Howard responded in a timely manner. Making the appointment was easy and the price is very reasonable. I had scheduled ceramic tint on both my wife's car and mine including the front windshield. Upon arrival we talked through the process, and he actually talked me out of doing tint on the windshield with a reasonable explanation which I thought was thoughtful and of no benefit to him since we would have been paid more with the up sale. A true professional. The install was fast!!! Like really fast for 2 cars. He went over the install when we picked it up and to dos and don'ts. Tint looks great, car is cool...amazing job. Will go to him with any future cars requiring his services. Appreciate the team at Kamaaina Tinting. read more

Had my 2006 Nissan Altima tinted today which involved removal of old tint and application of new tint. I contacted other Tinting companies prior and none returned calls and those that did was reluctant, not interested and tried to raise the price due to removing old tint. This wasn't the case with Howard @ Kamaaina Tinting. In an hour and a half the job they did on my vehicle was pristine. As promised and without any outrageous prices. I highly recommend Kamaaina Tinting as the go to, honest, excellent work, go to place for Tinting. read more

Had my SUV done with a ceramic tint. They did an awesome job and it only took about an hour. They even installed a visor strip on my front windshield, which I didn't expect. I'm glad I chose the 5% tint for my rear windows. I can feel the difference after being parked in the sun all day and yet still able to see in the rear view mirror with my sunglasses. Howard was friendly and informative on what I was getting for a very reasonable cost. Thank you Kamaaina Tinting! read more
