Mike Le is the owner of this Beretania location and he and his crew are absolutely amazing, professional, and honest! He gave me a reasonably priced quote (compared to other places that would charge way more for the whole body of a car). I contacted Detail BLVD in a panic because of a freak road accident where white paint was splattered all over the passenger side, hood, and roof of my car. It had dried on my car over 24 hours and I had no luck removing the paint at the car wash. They offered for me to bring my car by the shop same day after I finished work so they could give a fair assessment of if they would be able to get it off or not. Upon arriving, Mike was very courteous, professional, and honest. They tried a few things and ended up getting all the paint off my car in an hour! I searched for a detail place as my car hasn't had a good detail since moving to the island a few years ago. It was a hard decision until I came across Detail BLVD. All of the other places had mixed reviews with the level of work being inconsistent, then came Detail BLVD. All of their reviews are high and I now see why. I initially emailed to clarify if a few small items would be covered in the complete detail. Mike, the owner responded promptly with answers and I scheduled a complete detail for the following week. You've got to drive slow to not miss the entrance as you can easily drive right past. My drop off at 10am was one of the busiest times so I ended up parking on the street and walking between the buildings. The team greeted me right away and my appointment was with Mike so he walked out with me to see the car. He asked about anything specific I was concerned about (dog fur in carpet) and after chatting for a few minutes I passed over the keys and headed out. The team called around 6:30, saying the car was ready for pickup. Mike wasn't there upping pickup which wasn't as big deal. The tech that was there reviewed the two items I mentioned upon drop off and we only looked at the drivers side of the car due to the location of where it was parked. The carpets stick out cause B I can't see any dog hair and the seats are so soft after they cleaned them. Upon getting home and taking a more detailed look to take pics to post there were a free areas that needed s as but more detail. I emailed Mike around 10pm and he responded before 11pm! I was very impressed with his customer service and he immediately took responsibility for the items that were not up to par. He offered to personally fix these items on Sunday (they are normally closed) at 9am. I was very impressed with his ownership of the quality of work and immediate offer to resolve the issues. I dropped off the car at 9:10 am and he told me it would be about an hour. Sure enough within the hour he called to notify me it was completed. All of the items I emailed about were rectified and I couldn't be happier. He gave very insightful recommendations for a couple questions regarding deeper scratches and the locks for the floor mats. If I could give him 10 stars that wouldn't be enough. He was pleasant the entire time and again his accountability for the items I emailed about blew me away. Most places will try as wiggle out of responsibility, not him. 100% ownership and no attempts to not complete the job. I was able on Sunday to partake in the loaner car which was great, new Mazda 3.... reminded me of my old Mazda 3 and so much b fun to buzz around in for the hour. If you're looking for a detail place I recommend checking Mike and his team out. I will definitely go here in the future when I need another detail. read more

I needed to have a film wrap removed from the front of my car. It had been left out in the sun for a year and was cracked and pitted - it looked horrible. I was concerned that removing the film would also remove the paint or that once removed the paint under the film would not match the rest of the hood. My friend referred us to Detail BLVD to get ceramic window tint for my husband and I's cars. When asked why should we go to them, the answer that we got was "I trust them to do a good job, and good customer service". Both checked out! Let me start my whole experience with booking the appointment. I love the convenience of online booking, and they have that available via their website. Just choose the service, the date and time, enter your contact information and voila! Appointment booked, twiddle your thumbs and wait for the appointment confirmation email and text. It even sends you a reminder email and text the day before which is very helpful, especially if you are a busy bee. They were also very responsive whenever you have questions or additional inquiries. They are located at Beretania Street -- across Texaco and the Hawaii Medical Association building. Stay on the far left lane of Beretania and as soon as you reach the Keeaumoku intersection and see a beige two story building on your left, slow down and you will see a small parking entrance with a sign to go in to their establishment. It may be hard to find at first if you are not familiar with the area, but just keep your eyes open and you'll see it. We were greeted by the owner, Mike, and confirmed the service that we wanted to have. He gave us an overview of the benefits of ceramic tint and how long the service would take. Though these information were already made available on the website, I like the fact that he reconfirmed everything to make sure that we were on the same page. You can tell by listening to him and how he answered our questions that he is very knowledgeable as he explained everything about the product in great detail. They do not have a waiting area, but you have the option of taking a loaner car if you are running other errands. We chose to walk since there were a lot of establishments that we can conveniently go to. He let me borrow his umbrella since the rain was on and off. We received a text message / phone call when our cars were available for pick up. The finish product was amazing! You can tell that they used quality tint for our cars and it was applied seamlessly on our windows. Before we left, we were briefed on how to take care of the tint during the first week so that we can get its maximum quality. We also met two Tylers (Miura and Buttons) who also run the shop and they were equally friendly and knowledgeable. I recently bought an orange 2015 Mini Cooper, and while the owner took decent care of it, the paint was pretty scratched and dull; there was a lot of wax residue. Having some spare cash and wanting to help the local community, I wanted to get it cleaned up, "color corrected" as they say, and ceramic coated. I have a Tacoma with Kenzo ceramic coating, and saw this place uses it, so checked out their Yelp reviews and decided to stop by. When I first dropped by, one of the employees helped me out, and took out a buffer to show me what would be possible. He applied a liquid to the hood and buffed a small area to show me what was underneath, and it was insane how new it looked. I knew I would have to get the complete "color correction" package ($2000), to get the car looking as good as possible, but this business actually has courtesy cars (for certain packages like that one), so I was alright. Took 5 weeks to get an appointment (many other places were all "yeah, bring it in tomorrow! We'll have it back to you in 24 hours!" yikes), but it was worth it. Dropped it off on a Monday, we originally planned for 3 days, but on the end of the 3rd day the owner called saying he wanted to work on it more, as he wanted it to look as good as possible before releasing it. I told him to take his time, and when I went to pick it up that Saturday, it looked like a brand new car. I wish I had taken some "before" pictures to compare the the after photos I'm posting here. Again, I brought in a 2015 Mini Cooper, in October 2020, so it's been driven around in the Hawaiian sun and ocean air for six years. Some people might say I'm dumb to pay $2000 for paint correction and Kenzo ceramic coating for a six-year old $10,000 Mini Cooper, but in my experience, it is much easier to clean, looks awesome, and mostly likely I'll get a lot of my money back if I ever sell it. I've very happy with the service, that's all that matters. read more

The wife wanted to get her car tinted for Mother's Day and Mike @ Detail Blvd was highly recommended. I called them on a Friday for a quote to tint her 2017 Prius Prime. I booked an appointment with Tyler for the very next day! We arrived early to our appointment and handed over the keys to Tyler. He was very nice and assured us that the car would be well taken care of. I also asked about tinting the front windshield hoping they had enough time to do it the same day since the original appointment was only for the side and back window. Tyler told me they could do it and another appointment wasn't necessary and it would take a few hours. We arrived about 30 minutes before our scheduled time to pick up and we were able to speak with Mike. Since we were early, he offered us a loaner vehicle to take around to grab food or kill time while he finished up! Awesome! When it was finally time to pick up, we did a final walk around and Mike gave us information about the tint and warranty. He told us to let him know if we have any issues over the next few days. Let me tell you, I was worried about the back glass as it has a very awkward curve, but Mike knocked it out if the park and did a great job! My car had not been washed for nearly one year and not waxed for probably 1-2 years. It was filthy in and out. I chose Detail Blvd after checking out the highest rated auto detailers on Yelp and because they are close to my house. I reached out to Detail Blvd and made an appointment online for the basics detail package. They texted right back confirming the appointment. I got to the appointment a little early. I was greeted right away and even though everyone was busy, someone came to check out my car right away and ask me if i needed a loaner car. I declined the loaner although it was tempting. I left them the keys and went off on foot. They texted me 2 hours later saying the car was done. When i returned, i was amazed how much work had been done on the car in only 2 hours. Full wash/wax, wiped down interior and removed 3 years of stains from leather seats, vacuumed interior to spoless, wiped down all door jambs, dressed all tires, and removed years of misplaced wax/polish from black plastic trim around fenders and front rear bumpers. Even though the base price was $139 and SUV's (and dirty cars) are more expensive, i was only charged the base $139. So overall, thrilled with the work done and whole experience. As an aside, upon my inquiry, Tyler spent 15-20 minutes explaining ceramic coatings to me. If i decide to go for that, I will definitely bring the car back here for that service. read more

I got a ceramic coat put on my 4Runner by these guys a year ago and it has held up super well. It still looks and feels as good as the day it was put on! Mike and his team are very patient in explaining the different services they offer and would be most appropriate for your situation. After the process they made sure to tell me how to take care of my ceramic coat - obviously they were right on that too because it's still great. I went in today because I wanted to get my old tint removed and have new, darker tint put on. Mike listened to my situation (nothing wrong with the old tint, just wanted darker to keep my car cooler and so people couldn't see in so easily) and inspected my vehicle. He let me know that my front windows are as dark as they can legally be, and that darkening the back wouldn't do a whole lot temperature wise. What impressed me about this was that he could have kept all that information to himself and sold me on getting my tint re-done, but he didn't.
