After a ton of research on ceramic coatings decided on Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra. This shop is one of the shops listed on the Gtechniq website so I decided to bring my SUV here, and I'm glad I did! The service from this shop was very friendly and everyone was so helpful and courteous. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and they were very flexible with pick up times. Pricing was very fair as well. As far as the product they use, my car has a glossy look even when it gets dirty. It's super easy to wash as the water just beads right off. It's smooth to the touch & just looks damn good all the time. It requires an annual maintenance detail to keep the coating and paint on top shape. I highly recommend this company! read more

This is the first time taking my vehicle to this business. Very happy with the results and overall experience! Scheduling with Carissa was via text and seamless. I researched several detailers in downtown (for the convivence) and compared prices and services. I selected Showroom Shine 2 because of its location, ability to leave the car for the full workday, and good yelp reviews. When I arrived I was pleasantly pleased to see that they have running water at their facility. Some other detailers also located in garages have to do 'waterless' washes which I do not prefer. I regret not getting the individual's name who helped me when I arrived to drop off the car at 8:30am. He was very professional and friendly. I showed him some areas of concern on my car and he was very receptive. My car was ready for pick up on time (it could have been ready by 4pm), but I was able to pick up my car after work around 5:30pm. This is very convenient as I don't have parking downtown and can't leave work early. Other detailers downtown require you do pick up your car after they are finished, which I understand, but is less convenient for a working day. I paid $205 plus tax for their "mini detail". This is slightly more expensive than other places I researched, but to me well worth it. I will be bringing my car back here in the future and recommending it to others. This used to be at the Finance Factors Building on Bishop but it is now above the Pacific Honda Dealership at Capitol Plaza. How to get here: Drive up Alakea, pass Beretania, stay in left lane, make first left turn on side street makai of Central Intermediate School (S Kukui). Take the first ramp up on left to the second floor where you will see Honda logo. Enter, turn right and keep going as far as you can. My car is the stereotypical old lady car. It is 7 years old and has under 14,000 miles. We call it the garage decoration. This is my second time using this service. The first time, I had totally abused the car to store, donate, move, and relocate items during a renovation project. The car was filthy with dirt, leaves and scratch marks. This time, I had spilled some very horrible things on the upholstery and I thought the car was slightly dirty and could use a detail. When I picked up the car the first time, I knew my car was filthy so maybe that's why I wasn't so wowed. But when I picked up the car this time, it was so clean and pristine, I didnt realize how filthy it was until I had it detailed. Maybe this is like your not realizing how fat you are, even though the scale and pants size are moving up, untill you see a photo of yourself. They also did a paint correction on my trunk which had all these scratches from an unknown source. Tiki (fabuluous, professional and courteous) explained that the unknown source was probably me. Lesson learned. I am more careful when removing items from the trunk. Highly recommend the service and would definitely use them again. Thanks! read more

Great people who got my car "Shipping" ready! I needed my car cleaned and ready to be shipped off the island. With my bumper still freshly painted there was no way I could bring my car through a drive through car wash. I called the day before and Carissa was able to schedule me for the next morning. Dropped my car off at their Waiakamilo address around 9:30 am and was told my car would be done around 1 pm. Car was done by 11:30 am, way before expected. Once I arrived, they cleaned everything and left all my personal items in a bag. I didn't have to worry about anything when I dropped off my vehicle to Matson. Yay. I was borrowing someone's car for a while and thought it'd be a nice gesture to have it washed. I called in around noon and asked if they had room for just a wash and they were able to squeeze me in. I work in downtown but I missed the parking lot once and had to drive around the block (took me 10 minutes! damn downtown). It's the financial factors building - you're going right under the building with BRUE coffee shop in it - if you go before BRUE then you're in a different building. Take the ticket, Go to the bottom, their work area is the last car park area. The man was very nice, explained everything to me and walked me up to the showroom/cashier area. Yes, you have to climb up a bit of stairs - apparently no elevator for parking in this building, not handicapped friendly fyi. $20 wash was done by 4pm - the only gripe I have is that I work in downtown till 6 - so I have to step out of work at 4 to pick up my car, pay, and re-park it in my garage. Not too bad, I just have to schedule it on days I don't have meetings. and remember to pick it up by 4. The show room / cashier office is in the ground floor lobby of the finance factors, walk in the front double doors and go straight to the back past the elevators. They did a great job with the 1st car, I brought back my own car for a wash & wax the next day. $100, car looks shiny. I had just shipped it from Washington state and it had really bad water spots and scuffs and things - I told them ahead of time that I understood that I had to buy a higher package if I wanted all that stuff fixed - but I didn't really care too much to do it. They were all very nice about it and I'm sure they did try their best anyway. Of course it poured rain at my house that night, but three days later, it still looks shiny and clean :) Definitely convenient to come to in downtown - will definitely be back. read more

First time here and it won't be my last. I brought in my mid-sized SUV in this morning, it was dull looking with some white stripes down the driver's side (thanks to someone/thing that dropped paint on the road on a dark rainy night). And the interior, well what can I say...it's been YEARS since it's been cleaned - I'm allergic to cleaning my car, shhhh. After enduring bad customer service experiences and waiting for callbacks that never came, I finally stumbled upon these guys. Not only were they prompt with returning my call but they were also very friendly and courteous which I really, REALLY appreciated after interacting with other companies. They're located on the bottom floor of the Finance Factors parking lot and the guys are just as friendly in person as they were on the phone. I dropped my truck off a little before 9 AM and around noon, I returned to a shiny, squeaky clean vehicle. I didn't think the prettiness would last very long because I drive a LOT but it's been about a week and she's still shining bright like a diamond! Top of the line professional car cleaning at the Finance Factors Center in downtown Honolulu. There are a lot of places that can just wash and wax your car, but I don't think too many have the expertise, attention to detail, and really superior customer service like Showroom Shine. Kyle really knows his craft, and has a passion for it. This shows in the quality of his work. He always goes above and beyond my expectations. For example, when I got a new Benz this summer, Kyle pointed out a few problems with the car that I (as well as the dealer) missed. Kyle did his best to polish out sloppy bonding glue around the spoiler and uneven swirls on the hood. But there was also a strange little inverted ding in my door, which of course needed to be corrected through paintless dent repair via the dealer. About a month ago, someone scraped the paint on one of my doors. I thought I'd have to repaint the door, but I asked Kyle to see if he could do something about it. When I picked up my car later that day - voila! The door looked perfect! Kyle had gone through a painstaking process to carefully remove the scratch. I still don't know how he did it. He didn't want to take any money as well. Kyle uses clays, special cleaners and tools to do an expert job with my car. Troy has been with him for a while, and is really nice as well. Their rates are super affordable too. I'm on a monthly plan, and basically pay what I used to pay for just one wash and wax at the other place I used to go to downtown. They work fast and are very accommodating of my schedule. My strongest recommendation for this car wash! read more

I had stopped by a day earlier to inquire about their services since I work downtown. In my initial conversation the staff was extremely helpful, and didn't push any services on me. He in fact proposed that I go with a Super Wash and Wax, which was about $115. I set an appointment and brought my car in the next day, but I requested that they do more extensive work, which was the Deluxe Detail for $160. This isn't their highest priced package, but I thought that it would suit my needs. The work was completed earlier than expected, and it was excellent. The exterior was flawless, all of the tar and other spots were removed (even on the lowest panels), the windows looked as clear as the first day I bought the car, and the interior was spotless. I am extremely pleased with the service, and the price is on the lower end for the amount of work that they perform (a lot of other detail shops were pricing the same services at $185+). Yesterday I had an appointment with showroom shine 2 for the deluxe detail. I was shipping my vehicle out and the military shipping yard requires that your vehicle be spotless for inspection. It's a real pain but Troy hooked it up. It took him a little over 3 hours which is fast for a detail like that and man did my car look great. I was kinda bummed that I was shipping it because it looked so good. Troy is a super nice dude that does good work. He even hooked me up with a 10% military discount. If I wasn't moving I would definitely get my car detailed her again. read more

Wow, Showroom Shine got it right! Outstanding wax, cleaning and detailing. I was BLOWN AWAY today and felt compelled to write this review. Troy did an AWESOME job, I can't say enough about the quality of the work and the customer service. There was attention to detail and everything was shiny (interior and exterior) when I picked up my car. In addition, and perhaps most importantly, I came in with an ant problem and Troy figured out the source of the problem. Giving this place a 3-Star rating because during the process, it was frustrating. However, the end result was very good. During my first encounter, I made an appointment, figuring the whole process would be about an hour to an hour and a half. After I left to do the rest of my errands, I come back 2 hours later and found out that they did not even start on my car. Super disappointing...as a result, they gave me a small discount after my car was finally finished 4 hours later... When I finally paid, I didn't realize that normally it costs about $160, discounted was about $140 (to me that was not worth it and way too expensive). But once I saw my car, they did an amazing job, both inside and outside...better than any other car wash that I've been too. So overall experience, 1-Star customer service with 5-Star product, evens out to 3-stars. I believe in second chances so next time, I hope they improve. read more
