Have you ever seen your car and thought, "oh great, I've ruined this premium paint." She had less than 3 washes since I've got her a year ago. I could use the excuse that this has been a crazy year with the pandemic, but let's be real, I'm just lazy when it comes to getting my car washed. My car really suffered from the elements of this tropical whether with dirty water stains and some bird poop that I really can't help due to the bird attracting light pole above my parking spot. I thought I lost all hope when I got my car washed at the dealership a week prior and they said that the water spots were not going to come off with a regular wash. My fiancé found Aloha Shine and took her to get a nice little scrub-a-dub-dub. Boy was I surprised to see the spots gone! The only thing that couldn't be fixed was the spot where the bird tattooed my car with white ink. It's hardly noticeable so I'm happy. My detail cost $300 plus tax, but could range in price (higher or lower) depending on your vehicle and it's condition. It took almost the entire day so I know he put in work to get it cleaned. Again, happy customer and 100% would recommend. read more

Aloha Shine - After getting some TLC with Aloha Shine - Auto Detailing Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

They took such great care with my Camaro that I couldn't wait to bring in my Corvette :) I don't know HOW they work their magic but they are simply AMAZING. Trust me: take advantage of their all day detail and it'll be the best money you've ever spent. When they finish and you pick up your car, it'll look better than the day you bought it. Guaranteed. Beautiful, spotless and shiny outside on the paint, tires/rims shine. The interior is flawless with every nook, cranny and vents dustless. Luckily I have leather interior now but my camaro had fabric and I would bring it so dirty and they always returned it like I never entered it. I'm getting my car wrapped this weekend and you better believe I'm going back there on the regular to ensure my investment is getting the royal treatment. Thanks to Dillon and his dad they have my business for life! read more

This place is like a hidden gem right in the corner of Sand Island, and on top of that reminds me of a movie set of the fast and the furious. He has so many garage is in there and so many different projects. Fixing car is nothing but autobody and repairs and on top of that he does bodywork and painting and also auto detailing. Basically a one stop shop complete repair area and when I visit the shop, I saw a lot of cars that was lined up, waiting to be painted by him I believe the owner name is Mark. I will definitely try him one day to be in my car. He actually gave me a price quote to work on bodywork on my car and it was reasonable. read more

My car desperately needed a deep interior cleaning and Dylan responded so quickly! Out of 15 different places I called, he was one of the quickest responders. I got really lucky and he had an opening on the same day and I took it! He recommended coming in ASAP due to the accident that happened with the inside of my car. The entire process was seamless and easy. He gave me an estimate over the phone, I came in person, he took a quick look and gave me a great deal (he didn't try to upsell or make me purchase any extensive packages). He even went over what he'd be doing exactly to make sure I was fine with it. He quoted me within a few hours time that it would be done and it was done just as he said! I came to pick up my car and was shocked with the results!!! My interior has never looked so clean and it also smelled so good and fresh (thank god). Dylan is godsent and the prices here can't be beat. Great value, super convenient, and quick turnaround. Exactly what I needed for my emergency! I will definitely return!!! read more

I called them yesterday to make an appointment and had a pleasant conversation with Mike. He gave me a 9am appointment for today. Got here a little before 9am just to make sure we were the first ones here. It's 10am and no one has shown up. No one has answered my 3 calls and text. We are already stressed enough as is with having to move at the last minute and get the shipping detail done before the vehicle leaves tomorrow at 7am. Very disappointed. I was looking forward to sending a lot of work to this family owned business... obviously won't now. Hope the people who own and run this place are okay but would have been nice to at least receive a notice some how. read more

Dylan was Extremely thorough and efficient with cleaning our jeep. We were in and out in under 30 minutes and will definitely be returning in recommending this to all her friends and family on the island read more

Dylen left the company in May of 2023. They company is trying to keep it going - but my last visit was nothing close to a time when Dylen was there. A simple wash and interior vac and dress - took all day and was horrible. I went to pick up - the wash was bad and when driving away - I noticed they never touched the inside. A waste of time and money - this was an executive company car. Not going back- the place had its challenges - but Dylen did an outstanding job at an outstanding price. No more - he moved to the mainland is what I was told. read more

I needed my car to be washed and Vaccum paid for the deluxe wash. I was disappointed because the back of my trunk wasn't vacuum I had to ask Dillian to vacuum it and barely of the inside of my car wasn't even that clean missing some areas that needed to be vacuum the outside was washed and clean but the inside wasn't. I didn't expect this after a 5 star. Don't get me wrong, customer service was great Dillian was nice, but I would expect more from him to at least vacuum my car clean and wipe down the interior. Thanks for the service but I wouldn't recommend. If you pay more you'll probably get a better deal on the cleaning. read more

Dylen was awesome, super quick and responsive with email and phone calls. They were able to take my car in for full interior detail as soon as 2 days, which was surprising because it was a weekend and/plus holiday. So I assumed I would have to wait a couple of days, but that wasn't a problem! Dylen had asked me if there was anything specific that I had wanted him to take a look at. But, me being forgetful and new/easygoing to this said "no". He did a great job cleaning all around and had shampoo my seats. Told me there was a stain there, that I had completely forgotten about that probably happened a year ago. Also that day a bird had pooped on my car and I tried my best to quickly clean as much as I could. But, later noticed that he had also cleaned the up the rest for me hahah. Did a great job with even the little details. Will definitely come back next time and know where/what I want specifically checked on. Mahalo Nui to Aloha Shine! read more

Amazing customer service and quality cleaning! We called ahead to schedule an exterior car wash (done by hand!). For a Model X Tesla (or any large car), the price is $35 for a wash. We gave Dylan a big tip because he did an amazing job cleaning every detail of the car! Such a sweet guy and so considerate of our time. He cleaned for about an hour because our car was so dirty but he gave us all the tips to maintain our car! The car looks brand new. read more

I bought my car from Acura of Honolulu. After signing papers for nearly 4 hours, I had to wait because my car was being "detailed". So that was another 4 hours I had to wait. Smh! And once it came out of "detailing", I believe they thought I didn't have the eye to catch all the exterior defects. I was over it so I just drove off the lot. Messaged Mark asking if he could take care of it and he said of course. And as you can tell, he cut no corners. I am happy and will become a loyal customer! Mahalo braddah Mark and Dylen!! read more

Awesome job on my car I couldn't b more satisfied! I highly recommend you bring your car to them for your detailing needs. Owners son is very knowledgeable and pointed out few things that could help as he was attending to my car just awesome!check them out! read more

First of all, I don't usually write reviews unless I'm asked to. But for this particular reason, I felt the need to... Mark & his son, Dylan, did an amazing job turning my second hand XB into looking like a brand new car! From the very beginning, when I first emailed them, I had quick responses (even when they were busy). They worked well to accommodate to my schedule (even when I had to cancel last min due to a family emergency). Also, they were polite, informative, helpful, easy to talk to, easily to get along with, and they really know a lot about cars (XB especially, lol). Even with my tight schedule, they worked really hard to give me the best service for my car. I really wish I had taken a before and after picture because I never knew my car could like a brand new car! They cleaned spots I didn't even know that could be cleaned. My seats are the best part of the interior detailing. I could finally see that my seats are black, lol. No more dirty brown seats!!! They even restored my headlights. If anyone is reading this review, please please go to Aloha Shine! Not just for detailing, but for customizations too! Ask Mark for more details. He taught and showed me things I didn't know I could do to my XB. I'd go back again and I highly recommend anyone who is considering detailing their car to go to Aloha Shine. Actually, I will go back again. I have more than one car. THANK YOU ALOHA SHINE! read more

Needed a very last minute cleaning before shipping my car the next day. Didn't realize most detailers are closed on Sundays. These guys were open (bonus #1), and managed to squeeze me in at 3:15 pm (bonus #2). A team of 3 dudes descended on my car, got it looking amazing (the lead guy ended up using spray wax so my car looked sexy AF), and best part, it was only $50. They were polite, worked really hard, and you can tell they care about their work. HIGHLY recommend. I'm just bummed out I didn't find them sooner to get a full detail! My car shipped no problem and I got a ton of compliments from the processing place people. Definitely check them out! read more

Family owned business, Mark and his sons know all about what it means to make a car look and shine beautiful, and takes personal pride in his work and the results are absolutely stunning. These guys are awesome, I needed to find a quick wash n clean spot before I shipped my vehicle and this place was just after the Sand Island exit towards the ship yard. They washed and vacuumed and did a great job at spraying n cleaning the under carriage as well. When I checked my vehicle in, they saw I recently had it cleaned and they seemed to have just pushed the car through without the "White Glove Inspection" attitude. Maybe the car scent and their paper foot mat helped out. I will be coming back to these guys again this week for our second vehicle. Thanks again Aloha Shine read more
