Paid $125 plus tip only to come home to be disappointed. He said he was gonna do "butter wax" but there were water spots everywhere. How does that happen? The interior still had trash on the ground. Streak marks over the front windshield, that's super fun to look at when driving. The displays still very dusty. Under the rear spoiler (top of the rear window) did not even get touched. Very disappointed. For $125 i would expect a mediocre to good job. This was not the case. Wheels looked nice and tires were shiny. Most windows looked good. Louie (sp?) was really nice and professional. Would not do this service again.

Average review for an average detail. Dropped off my car for a mini detail inside and out. Upon dropping it off the employee looked the car over and said it's pretty clean and I explained yes I keep my cars in good condition but I was selling it today so I just wanted a detailer to go through it just to put the finishing touches on it before the sale. Got the car back and it was an average detail in my opinion. There was some adhesive residue on one of the windows from the for sale sign and they didn't take care of it (-1 ). According to the description of the mini detail it includes windows inside and out so not sure why it wasn't addressed. They said it was really sticky and I said I'm sure you have adhesive remover here but apparently they do not so I went back home to grab some remover and it was done in less than a minute. Tire dressing was also spotty (-1 ), not ideal for a sale but hence the average review. Aside from these issues the rest of the car looked good. Not sure if I'll be back.

Staff is always friendly and take great care of my car! Prices are very reasonable and it saves me time from washing it myself!

Prices have definitely increased, but to me it's still a great bargain considering it's full service and the Employees still work hard to turn over the cars in a timely manner. My car was absolutely filthy from the months of rain and never ending construction on our roadways. My car still had some missed spots on the rims and trunk area but it's nothing to complain about. If you're anal with things like that, I'd definitely recommend just washing the car yourself because then it'll be in your control. But for $50 I was more than satisfied with the work performed. If I lived in the area I would stop by more often since Mililani has really no options with quality car washes. With about 10 cars in front of me, it took 45mins.

Some places stop being businesses and quietly become part of a city. McKinley Car Wash is one of…read morethose places. I've been coming here on and off for almost thirty years. Every trip back to Hawaii somehow includes a stop here, usually in one of my parents' cars, waiting in line with everyone else while the smell of soap mixes with hot asphalt and exhaust. It's oddly nostalgic. The system works, but it definitely assumes you've been here before. When you pull up, the menu isn't really explained. You're asked a few quick questions about tires, vacuuming or upgrades and before you know it you're being waved forward. If you're trying to understand the difference between services or whether a detail is worth it, don't expect much guidance. The actual wash was good, especially for the price. Coming from Los Angeles, where a proper wash and detail can easily cost well over $100, it's hard to complain. Just don't expect perfection. The interior looked much better, but there was still sand hiding under the kids' car seats and a few corners that were easy to miss. If you have children, prepare yourself for the awkward dance of unloading everyone while deciding whether to let someone else drive your car through the wash. One thing I would recommend. Tip the crew. They work incredibly hard in the Hawaii heat, moving nonstop from one car to the next. No, it isn't a concours level detail. But for a long standing neighborhood institution that gets you in, gets you out and leaves your car noticeably cleaner without emptying your wallet, it's still easy to understand why locals keep coming back.

Great location (just a few blocks from McKinleys) on Ward, on the side street across Ward from the Patagonia store. The lot is small, only fits 4 or 5 cars in driveway - but I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get started. (I used the time to gather up all my junk so they could thoroughly clean the interior). Service absolutely is fantastic. You drive yourself into the washing bay under the direction of the service guy. Then you back out and park under the sunshades so the team can hand dry the exterior and all door jams, AND then thoroughly vacuum out the interior. They ask you to step out at sit at provided table (under shade) or pay for service while they're doing all that. There's a service charge for using credit card that is waived if you pay cash. (SUV $29+tax) A tip box is provided on the wall - fill that baby up because these folks are so deserving! Bottom line - excellent service, location, price, and so quick and easy!

I'm looking for hand wash so I call and the person who answers says "Oh just bring it by, if it's not a detail you can just pull up" So I pull up. The guy then says "Oh you need an appointment" I said oh the guy just called said I didn't need an appointment to pull up.. then he says " oh, that was me." Then he tells me to wait and says he probably won't have time for it today if I can come back tomorrow. So I said what time? Then he says 12. I said how long does it take? He said 45- 1 hr. I said OK that works if I can get out because I have a doctor appointment at 1:20pm. Then he said " oh, just bring it by after" so I said what time? Then he says " or maybe on Saturday" I'm like huh?? I said I'm trying to get a car wash today or tomorrow then he says " oh, you can just go McKinley then." I'm not usually a complainer, but the whole interaction was just so irritating and the person I was interacting with just gave off IDGAF vibes, puffing on his vape and then just telling me to go somewhere else. Bummers because location wise they were convenient and if service was good I would have been a repeat customer.

Lo and behold, this Texaco car wash place popped up. I read a few reviews and I decided to try it out. There was about four cars ahead of me. The reviews warned us about the wait time. There is wait that depends on the type of car wash package you select. I estimated @10-15 minutes per car. I didn't know where to pay and I asked my sister to run into the convenience store to check if I needed to pay first. You can pay inside and you will receive a receipt with a code that you enter into a machine that is located near the entrance of the car wash. Or you can pay at the machine as well. Your choice. Pay attention to the instructions and lighted signs! It will guide you into the automatic car wash with ease. It's pretty loud inside so be prepared! Pricing is really great at $10 for the basic- Deluxe Wash, $14 for the premium wash, $17 for the ultimate wash, and $20 for Ceramic shine. See photo for more information. It's an automatic car wash , so be prepared to wipe down your car with a towel after you exit and find a place to park. The dryer doesn't get every spot. If you want air for your tires, vacuum, or water, it will cost you. Bring your coins. Appeared that some features are broken. Overall, a good experience for my old and now cleaned up car!

All of this before 6am in the morning. Good morning to all! But then it's my turn.
