We came here and ordered the matcha tiramisu and the blueberry cheese pancakes. The pancakes were not super sweet and I liked that they added fresh fruits. I actually enjoyed the blueberry cheese pancakes more. The pancakes were good, but I felt it was too eggy for me. Seating is very limited and the place is fairly small. Overall, a nice place to enjoy fluffy pancakes if you are craving for some.

I had bookmarked Fluffy Fluffy for a while now. The videos featuring the Fluffy Pancakes are hard to resist. We came in at the perfect time on Saturday around 2:30 pm ish. There were about 2 or 3 people in the shop. We ordered from the Kiosk and the pancakes were ready in like 5 minutes. It was quick! It was hard to select one flavor since they all look and sound really good. We went with Matcha Tiramisu. The presentation is great and even had the bouncy effect. However, the taste and texture was lacking. It wasn't as fluffy like in their picture and just missing the fluff! It wasn't too sweet, so that was a plus. Perhaps I had high expectation because I know what the Japanese pancake taste like. The portion size is decent and I'm glad I shared it with a friend. They also have about a dozen options of Latte, Refreshers and Expressos. Surprisingly, they also have a small selection of breakfast sandwiches, Egg Benedict and Croffle. Kind of odd but I guess they are catered to the UC Davis students. Parking is limited. It's in a busy plaza with many stores and restaurants.

Yelp, you are making me a little more "fluffy" from eating all the tempting food all of the time! Came here and split a Match Pancake. It was fluffy just as advertised. I like that it is not overly sweet. It was perfect for sharing. I noticed they had a lot of different drinks too. The shop is located in a very busy shopping center. Parking can be difficult. The shop itself is cute and brightly lit. You order from a kiosk. Limited seating but we were lucky that it wasn't very crowded. Came during the summer so perhaps it's busier during the school year when UCD students are around.

I found out about Fluffy Fluffy from a friend. I've never had Japanese fluffy pancakes before and have been wanting to try them out. I ended up ordering for dine in since who wants to take home cold pancakes? Definitely, not me! I ordered the strawberry fluffy pancakes you can add an additional pancake for $3.25 I can't eat as much as I use to so I was content with the 2 pancakes. I also ordered a side salad, I know? A side salad with pancake what an odd combination. When I salad and pancakes arrived I loved the presentation of my pancake. It was so full of strawberries and whipped cream as well as strawberries, whipped cream and strawberry sauce around the plate. My pancake was amazingly soft and fluffy and full of flavor definitely different than your regular running mill pancakes. My salad was so fresh and tasty and dressing used was so sweet and refreshing. For dessert I order the basque cheesecake and it was so delicious! I only wish the slice were bigger for the price. The service was good as well as you can order at the counter or order the kiosk. My friend ordered the matcha fluffy pancakes and I plan on ordering that next time. There is a decent amount of seating and and the decor is cute.

Ok, so this place was recommended to me and I had to make the breakfast mission out to Fluffy Fluffy for pancakes and French toast. I'm not gonna lie... driving from Sacramento to Davis had me thinking, "Man, this is a 30-minute trip one way... this food better not be playing with me." The whole drive I was basically negotiating with breakfast like, please be worth the gas and the time. First impression? Super inviting spot. The moment you walk in, you're greeted right away, which I always appreciate. Ordering is easy too--you can order at the front desk or use the kiosk if you like doing things at your own pace. Now let's talk about the food... whew. I had to wait about 45 minutes before I could even eat it, and somehow it was STILL amazing. That alone says a lot. The pancakes were insanely soft and fluffy--like nothing I've had before. The French toast? Ridiculous. The fruit added that perfect fresh balance and every bite just worked. Safe to say this breakfast run was 100% worth it. Would I drive from Sac to Davis again for this? Without hesitation. My stomach is happy... my wallet survived... and my gas tank forgives me... eventually.

I love the pancakes at Fluffy Fluffy...definitely lives up to the name. It was packed upon our arrival with no open tables. After I ordered at the kiosk, thankfully, we were able to secure a table. My only complaint is that the kiosk does not allow modifications for my picky eater children. The signature pancakes were amazingly delicious. It was indeed fluffy with a softness in every bite. The cream was light and soft and not heavy, which I prefer to traditional whipped cream. It paired very nicely with the syrup and fruits (strawberries, blueberries, and banana slices). I also ordered the all day breakfast to get some protein. The dish consisted of sausages, fried eggs, salad, pancake, and tater tots. Definitely will make a return visit in the very near future.

So recently went to a Yelp event in Davis-thanks again Jenavieve.Z.,but before going to the event we decided to have breakfast at a local spot that has been catching some really good buzz on social media-so we headed to Fluffy Fluffy on Russell Blvd in Davis. This restaurant is in a multi-tenant shopping plaza so there is a ton of parking available. It's funny when you see things on social media 1st,sometimes that messes with your expectations and what I didn't get from TikTok was how small this restaurant is. This is the kind of restaurant that when you walk in you get in line for a kiosk so you can place an order.Being that it was a busy Saturday morning and their confined space there was some confusion as to who was in line to order and who was just standing around waiting for food to be ready.Plus there was a line out the door-all that being said-not my favorite way of placing a food order but what can you say-these are the times we live in. Once we placed our order-then the Hunger Games really began as we had to find a table in a place that had maybe 6 tables inside and a few outside. Not the easiest task considering your competing with all those customers who placed their order before you on the kiosk and there wasn't really a system in place for a table.Luckily I was with a party of 3,so each of us were in a different part of the dining area ready to swoop on an open table which led to us getting a table really fast,a few mean looks from other customers not withstanding-it wasnt too bad. Once we sat down our drinks came out really fast,I can't vouch for the matcha lattes but my Salted Caramel Espresso Latte was so good-just the right amount of sweetness and just the right amount of perkiness(caffeine). Our drinks were 2 Matcha Lattes($6.75) & a Salted Caramel Espresso Latte($5.75). Our food order was a Sausage Breakfast Sandwich($17.50) that came with a side of tater tots-We also ordered their famous Strawberry Pancakes($15.25) with a side of bacon($3.25) & lastly we got the savory sweet dish of Jalapeño Maple Chicken Pancakes($16.95) with a side of Bacon($3.25) & a side of tater tots($3.25) It was a pretty tough decision deciding what to go with as this was my 1st time at this restaurant and the menu, though not vast, had a lot of potential bangers that I wish I could've tried. Though the drinks came super fast, food was pretty slow and they pretty much forgot entirely about my Jalapeño Pancake order-but I will chalk all that up to a relatively new business and a busy Saturday morning. Once the food did arrive though,it was all good times-the breakfast sandwich was given rave reviews from our party and the tater tots were perfect-crunchy-well seasoned-perfect texture in the middle-yep I was loving on those. The strawberry pancakes were pretty good if you like very sweet strawberry toppings and sauce with a sweet whipped cream-I do,so they were pretty perfect. Now let's talk about a perfect dish-I truly enjoyed the Jalapeno Maple Chicken Pancakes dish-It features both pickled and fresh jalapeños on top of chicken nuggets type chicken pieces with a maple syrup over their famous jiggly fluffy pancakes. Its funny the table next to me warned me before my 1st bite that they were spicy and I kinda laughed that possibly off but they packed a punch-much too much for my daughter that's for sure but I truly enjoyed them from the 1st bite to the last-I could see myself ordering this dish again in the future for sure. In closing-our party truly did enjoy our dining experience at this cute trendy little breakfast spot but I do look forward to the day when they ride this wave of popularity to get themselves a bigger venue with more tables and a bit more organization-otherwise I have no complaints-I'm a fan of this restaurant and hope for nothing but success for them going forward. PS-In case it was't perfectly clear-these pancakes at this restaurant are made Japanese-style-I guess Soufflé-style-they are very special and unique and if you haven't had an opportunity to try em-I would fully recommend it.

We were so excited to finally make it to Fluffy Fluffy Davis after following them on Instagram since before they opened. We got there a little after they opened for the day and there was already a line out the door. You order on a kiosk and get a number. The space is super small so we had to get our food to go and eat outside (I was bummed). Our food was ready quicker than I expected. Collectively, we ordered the Signature Pancakes, Tiramisu Pancakes & a Fluffly Fluffy Latte. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The cream is delish! The Fluffy Fluffy Latte was okay. Not strong coffee, not too sweet, just okay. I'd love to try to go back and eat inside.

Fluffy Fluffy was clean, inviting, and nicely decorated, with comfortable seating and friendly staff. Parking was a bit crowded on a Wednesday afternoon, but service was efficient and the food arrived quickly. I ordered the Avocado Croffle, which was fresh, savory, and packed with flavor. My total came to $16.34. Highly recommend!

Strawberry and Matcha latte, and a Mango Latte with a shot of espresso. Not bad!

Fluffy is yum yum!! Japanese standard and I approve. Did the jiggle test. Pass A+ Got the Nutella. My man friend would occasionally say "mmmph! this place is good" in between bites of devouring his food. The pics below don't do it justice.

Fluffy fluffy in Davis has amazing Japanese pancakes, but parking can be tough and the small restaurant isn't ideal for large groups. Maybe consider ube or taro options? Will definitely come back since nothing like this in Elk Grove.

Food wise, this is a 5 star place. These souffle pancakes are super airy, light, and eggy in flavor. Although I really hated how small the place was and how you needed to fight for tables, I did not want to take away 1 star based off the seating issue. We got mostly the sweet pancakes and one savory one. The strawberry one was delicious. Even after eating 2 with the strawberries and sauce, you don't feel stuffed. The biscoff was good too. They're all super airy, light and eggy in flavor. So yummy. As for the jalapeno chicken pancake, the chicken was actually pretty good. The chiken was tender. I think the sweet ones go better with the souffle pancakes than savory. I also enjoyed their lattes. There is no order in terms of tables and seating. It's just whoever gets a table whenever. So even if you ordered way ahead of other people, but other people grab a table first, then that's it. Also, the food takes a while to come out. We wanted for at least 30 mins even though we were part of the first wave on Sunday morning. Overall, food is great, but due to the wait and no tables, I'm not sure I'll be coming back. At least not on weekends. If I happen to walk by and there isn't a line, then I'll def eat here again. I wish they would move to a bigger space.

I'm so glad I finally got to try Fluffy Fluffy! I saw the gigantic line on its opening day and told myself I'd come back some other day. Well, today was that day! Fluffy Fluffy is much smaller than I thought it would be. It's tiny inside! It is well decorated and has a cozy, modern feel. Like many places nowadays, you put your order in at the big screen in the front and then wait for your food to go or for dine in. Fluffy Fluffy's signature item is their airy pancakes. And these things are airy! it's really like you're biting into a cloud. These pancakes have a very light egg taste and are extremely delicate. One of the funnest things you can do with them is to jiggle them around when they get to you. It's fun! My friend and I got one savory pancake and one sweet. The savory pancake had chicken and jalapeños. This dish worked very well and came with a very good amount of chicken. I found the flavors here to be excellent with just the right amount of heat. For the sweet pancake, we tried the traditional standard with strawberries, banana, and creme. This was a perfect sweet breakfast. Fluffy Fluffy also offers up a variety of drinks - both coffee and a fruit refresher. While decent, we didn't find the drinks to be outstanding in any way. I'd say you could find better drinks elsewhere and just stick to the main items when coming here.

There is a lot of table space in the cafe and when UC Davis is in session, I've found many of the tables to be occupied by students doing just that. Mishka's Cafe has been around since 1995 and is a beloved place in Davis. It's a traditional cafe that has a welcoming atmosphere. When you first walk into the cafe you'll see the food case just to your left. It is filled with cafe items such as croissants, muffins, and cookies. There are savory items as well as sweet. I found the quality of the food here to be quite good and unique. Sometimes cafe food just feels like it came from somewhere else, but even if these did, they have a uniqueness about them. For example, the chocolate croissant is very flakey with a good amount of chocolate in the interior. It really surprised me! I also found the ham and cheese croissant to be very rich in flavor. My only gripe about either or these items was the heating method. I'm not sure how they are heated up, but they feel as though they used one of those quick heaters to quickly get them ready rather than a good toaster to get the items nice and crisp. As good as they are they were a bit limp due to the heating method. In terms of coffee, it's perfectly adequate. They have special offerings as well as their traditional menu. I found the coffee to be mild and friendly. It's not too strong nor very unique. It's just a solid cup. Sometimes that's really all you need.
