    Turkey Wrap
    Gayl B.

I ordered takeout from here for the first time but it won't be the last time! The turkey avocado wrap was delicious. Just the right amount of all ingredients. I didn't feel as if I needed to add additional avocado. I also enjoyed the side greens that came with it. The dressing was yummy. I'm looking forward to trying other items on their menu.

Great location. Great dining room & patio. Here for lunch, take out. I tried the yellow fin tuna poke. Born & raised in Hawaii, I know poke. Very little furikake, could have used more rice, more everything, as it did not look like a hefty amount in the picture advertised. But it was tasty. And Flower Child is always a happy place for me so I can't be too sad in trying something new here. Very busy but that's to be expected. I always find myself returning. And will.

    Mother Earth Bowl with steak.

I had the Mother Earth Bowl with steak, and all I can say is--wow! Everything was incredibly flavorful, from the broccoli pesto to the roasted sweet potatoes with that delightful sauce. I'm usually not a big fan of arugula, but it worked so cohesively with the rest of the ingredients. My bowl came to $20 after tax, and because it was so nourishing and delicious, it felt well worth the price. I'll definitely be back tomorrow!

It was a great find and the perfect spot to spend a few hours before my flight. The menu offers plenty of healthy options, featuring ancient grains, fresh greens, and a variety of protein choices. We ordered the Glow Bowl with extra chicken, the Mother Earth, and a kombucha--everything looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. I was especially impressed by the broccoli pesto and the red pepper miso vinaigrette in the Mother Earth. The vibe is super relaxed, with a young, friendly crowd and welcoming staff. Highly recommend!

Always have a great experience here and we always enjoy our food! There's a specific employee that when he's on the register we love it because he's always so bubbly and kind. The place itself is pretty big and there's plenty of sitting options inside and outside. I love their bowls and it's definitely a healthier option.

I had a good first visit to Flower Child while shopping in Uptown Plaza on Saturday. I was greeted warmly when I first walked in, from the order counter, which is near the entrance. I noticed they have an outdoor to-go Dutch door set up, but they didn't have it open on Saturday. Once I ordered, I was given a number and told I could sit anywhere I would like for dine-in service. There are lots of tables and booths to choose from. I choose one of the booths along the window, and my food was brought to me. I ordered: - Rose Petal Lemonade - Chicken Enchiladas Both are very good and tasty. The enchiladas really filled me up and had fresh avocado and a smoky creamy sauce with some beans, but not too many. Everything was nice and fresh. The lemonade wasn't too sweet, but they had a water dispenser near the lemonade and iced tea if you want to dilute it. I almost got dessert because they looked very tempting near the order counter, but the server mentioned that they were all gluten-free. I think this is a great option normally but I can't have rice, so I avoided the muffins and pastries. Good to know if you are on a gluten-free or you are celiac-sensitive. When finished eating, my plate was taken by a server who was walking the floor monitoring dishes. There's a deep shaded patio near the front entrance. There are two gender- neutral restrooms for customers. I enjoyed my Saturday lunch out and about.

Food was kinda bland this visit- and it was all cold....Bummer
    Jacque C.

We always usually enjoy Flower Child- great food with healthy ingredients. Today, unfortunately things weren't as they usually are. The food wasn't as tasty for some reason, just kinda bland. And, I consistently get the same thing- today it wasn't nearly as good and it was COLD. The whole meal felt barely warm- I did return the sweet potato fries due to being so cold. Perhaps there was an issue with their warming tray or heat lamps or something. Even, my hubby was commenting on everything being cold. Everyone has an Off Day- I just hope it isn't a trend. Today they lost their Consistency Card with us....Damn that sucks.

All broccoli, no potatoes. Basically a broccoli bowl
    Philicia P.

DON'T expect them to fix your order if it's wrong. I Placed an order online ; I went back in after work to have them fix the 2 sides they misunderstood and gave me. Instead of one side each of their smashed potatoes they gave me alll broccoli. So basically paid for a pricey bowl of nothing. Lol. I asked them to just replace the side and even though the sweet cashier wanted to, her manager told her no unless I'd like to pay for it. NEVER again will I step foot here. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. There are better places to spend pricey lunches at. Windsor for example never fails! And food is better.

    Mother Earth
    Jorey C.

I love flower child and all its locations, they're all pretty similar honestly which is good because that means there's quick good service at all of them! The food literally came out in under five minutes - it also wasn't that busy at 6:30 on a Thursday but still! Very clean.... Also super cold, had to wear a jacket in the Arizona July summer. I switched it up and went with the Mother Earth bowl switch out the ancient grains for brown rice to make it gluten free. It was tasty! I know this is a favorite of customers so I wanted to try it myself. I usually mix everything together when I have bowls but I wanted to keep these elements separate this time since there are so many flavors - I wanted to savor each element. I did mix the broccoli pesto with the rice and arugula which was tasty. The mushroom had great umami and Asian flavors which does go nicely with the diced cucumber salad. The sweet potato with the red pepper miso was chefs kiss and the avocado was a nice smooth finish. I didn't add protein because I wasn't as hungry but always a good touch to add protein. I usually get my favorite the forbidden rice bowl which slaps every time and it's still a favorite but I felt adventurous today.

    Shrimp Fra Diavolo
    Chris A.

Been coming to Flower Child for a while now, and just about every one of their dishes that I've tried has been delicious. However, the majority of this review is specifically aimed at their new dish: Shrimp Fra Diavolo. In my opinion, this is the best thing to come out in a while. As someone who likes to eat healthier, this dish is the one. The amount of flavor in this is incredible, especially for being a lower-calorie meal. Highly recommend checking this out, along with the chicken kabob and chicken yakisoba plates. Besides that, the service is always friendly, this location is always clean and inviting. I really enjoy myself each time I dine here.

    Chicken Enchiladas w Tofu
    Aram K.

I found flower child on Yelp and the food looked healthy, I checked and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had nutrition facts on their website. I ended up ordering the Mother Earth with salmon (I asked for no salt), and the chicken enchiladas with tofu inside rather than chicken. Both were really good but I will say this. For the amount of sodium each meal had, I really didn't taste that much flavor. But it did taste very healthy , like I was eating real nutritious food, which I liked. Who knows maybe the nutrition info online was wrong? One of the meals said 2,300 mg sodium it tasted more like 900 and the one that said 1,500 tasted more like 700. The flavor just didn't match the stated content. Also tried the chocolate brownie which was to die for and the lemon cake with olive oil which was just okay. I will definitely be returning though to try the black forbidden rice bowl.

What's up with the small salmon?? Not cool.
    Roxanne L.

The salmon portion is quite small. I frequent Flower Child because I do enjoy their flavors most times and they offer healthy meals. I'm familiar with the portions. They over do it with the Mac & cheese. There was also a time the salmon had too much salt. Something must be off with the consistency of your portions and seasoning. That's my honest review. I'll still eat here bc most times there aren't any issues and I enjoy my meal.

    Mother Earth Bowl with Chicken
    Viviana S.

Food: The flavors in the Mother Earth bowl were so unique and delicious that I ordered jt twice! The chicken was surprisingly not dry and was cooked well. The sweet potatoes though were a bit too mushy but they had great flavor. A great healthy eating out option! Service: Staff were a bit slow and forgetful but very friendly. Atmosphere: Open concept suitable for large parties. Loved their modern, chic decor!

I was delighted with the value, serving size and quality of the meat and ingredients. The "slop bowl" is a strong concept these days -- a jumble of veggies, fillers like quinoa or rice, and protein. Pleased to report that Angie's stands apart from the crowded field, distinguished by flavor and quality. Worth noting: you place orders on the kiosk and can customize. There are quesadillas, bowls, plates and more from which to choose. Because you do the order selection and input, the staff can focus entirely on assembling and delivering the orders. Efficient, orderly, but without the pleasure of a great server-customer interaction. That said, the value is unmatched.

UPDATE - Taco Guild is truly a GEM!…read more The bartending technique here is better than most upscale steakhouses in Phoenix. The cocktails are not cheap, but they are worth the price especially on HH. The ice cubes are crystal clear and they have a special shaped one for the highballs. I had the Mescal Manhattan and it was properly cooled and diluted before pouring on the beautiful cube. The balance was spot on for me. Our bartender was attentive and accurate with our orders. The complementary chips and salsas are next level. You get three salsas/sauces to sample on the thin and crispy chips. Don't freak out when you see the pricing on the tacos. They range from $7-10 but these are not little street tacos. One could be a meal especially paired with the chips and salsa. Two tacos were almost more than we could handle. This was also my first time bringing my children, who had saved up money to take me out for Mother's Day dinner. Unfortunately, almost every item we ordered had quality or preparation issues. We started with the Guild Fries appetizer, which arrived completely drenched in what tasted like a bland mayonnaise-based sauce with almost no flavor besides an overwhelming cumin taste. On top of that, there was an excessive amount of guacamole dumped over the fries, making them extremely soggy and unpleasant to eat. My daughter ordered the Chipotle Cherry Steak Taco in a lettuce cup and specifically requested blue cheese, which was completely missing. The lettuce itself was wilted and brown around the edges, which honestly made it look like it was going bad. My husband ordered the duck taco, which was supposed to include crispy duck skin, but the amount served was barely larger than a fingernail. There was also no cream included, making the taco dry and very unsatisfying overall. I ordered the Jackson taco, which was sloppily plated and absolutely drowned in grease. It was nearly impossible to pick up without everything sliding apart. I was also surprised to see repeated menu spelling issues. The menu repeatedly uses the word "consume" instead of "consommé," while online it correctly says "side of consommé." It gives the impression that there is very little attention to detail or proofreading happening. The overall experience was extremely disappointing. The quality of the food has declined severely from what I previously experienced at Taco Guild, while the prices continue to rise or remain high without the quality to justify them. This was honestly sad to experience on what was supposed to be a special Mother's Day dinner with my family. I felt dissatisfied to the point of being genuinely disgusted by parts of the meal, I did take the time to also email the manager who's email is listed on the website and so far I have gotten no response or acknowledgment.
