    Steak*

Ok first, I absolutely love Flower Child; I have been a loyal customer for years for the chain as a whole as well as this location specifically. This is the first time I have had a bad experience with it. I ordered the steak plate through doordash and as soon as I opened the container, I saw that the steak was green and gray. I have gotten this exact meal so many times and it has never looked like this before. I have also never had steak look like this throughout my entire life, including when I have cooked it with green vegetables/sauces/seasonings. I do not think this is safe to consume. I hate leaving a bad review and I am only leaving it because again, I do not think this is safe to consume and hopefully this review will draw the right attention to this quality/health issue so it gets fixed immediately and no one else gets put at risk due to bad meat. Again, I love Flower Child, love this location, everyone is so great and the food usually is too. This is hopefully a one time mistake and won't happen again.

My first experience with Flower Child was in Arizona, and now I take every opportunity to drop by whenever I'm in near another location. It was great to see how they've expanded in the Dallas area as well. Mother Earth Bowl - loved the combination of ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushroom, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, and onion. Macro-friendly lunches are the best. This was the perfect way to fuel up while on the go. Avocado Hummus - had me at sweet corn, but I also loved the other toppings (radish, clementine & pumpkin seed). It was served with some homemade tortillas packed with tons of seeds. If I hadn't been in a rush to catch my flight, I would have loved to dine on their outdoor patio as well! Such a cute spot.

    Quinoa & Roasted corn!

The impeccable combinations of flavors of the Glow Bowl are the very reason I eat out! Sweet potato noodles, leeks, snap pea, cilantro, mint & sunflower sauce are exquisite! (this this is normally made with mushrooms, but as i don't eat them, I opted out). I added Salmon to this and it was cooked to perfection!! A side bowl of the quinoa and roasted corn was just as magnificent!! So creamy and light & yet packed with protein, that if I could learn how to make this at home, it will become a new staple in my rotations! And mind you, I would eat this for breakfast as soon as I can figure out how they made it! --------- (Sorry no pictures of the Thai meatballs) On my second visit this week I opted for the new Thai chicken & shrimp meatballs! The meatballs and sauce were positively delectable, but even more so because the kale, cucumber, apple and radish salad served with a lemon yogurt dressing was just as bountiful and complementary to all the flavors. Independently they each would've been incredible, but prepared together they were sensational!

Looking for a spot that's fresh, cozy, and oh-so-chic? Flower Child in Addison is a must-visit! With multiple locations across the DFW area, this restaurant is a go-to for healthy, vibrant meals. Known for their fresh ingredients and customizable options, Flower Child specializes in making every meal feel nourishing and satisfying. The cozy ambiance immediately draws you in--think marble tables, real flowers in mason jars, and an elevated yet casual fast-dining vibe. Perfect for a late lunch, I tried the Forbidden Rice Bowl loaded with fresh veggies. I added shrimp for protein, but you can skip it or choose another protein to make it your own! Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program--you'll rack up points with every visit! Have you been to Flower Child yet? Let me know your go-to order!

Flower child never misses. This is the second location I have been to... And the service and food is always exceptional.. today I got a salmon which was a perfect medium rare and I got my favourite flying avocado wrap. Of course, I had to wash it down with the vanilla cherry sangria. Flower child is always fresh. It's always made right. The patio and tables inside are always clean and the decor is always a vibe. I can't wait to try the rest of the delicious things on the menu 5+ stars

This is an ELITE lunch meal. Feels very fresh and flavorful. Somewhat expensive, but you get what you pay for in long term health and feeling. Their Mac and cheese is actually one of my restaurant favorites.

Flower Child is a pretty good restaurant if you know what to order! By this I mean that the menu is full of a lot of hits and misses. I really like the avocado caesar salad and side of brussels sprouts. The olive oil lemon cake they have up front is INCREDIBLE - so flavorful and moist and light! I would pass on the mac n cheese and sweet potato fries. If you come during lunch time during the week, expect a line to order and difficulty finding a table. The service is usually pretty good and the restaurant is adorably decorated with rainbow paint on the walls and flowers on tables. Overall, it's decent if you want a lighter lunch! Though slightly pricey for what you get/portion sizes, I enjoy stopping by every once in a while for a meal.

This is my go to spot for a nice heathy plant based vegan meal. They have many options and the food is fresh. Quaint service and great ambiance and dining experience. 10/10 recommend.

I really miss the Teriyaki Shrimp and Avocado bowl that's not on the menu anymore. Today I tried the Chicken Yakisoba Noodle bowl that has chicken thigh meat, vegetables, roasted cashews and I asked for no sesame garlic sauce. At the counter when I ordered , the girl taking my order said that they marinated the noodles in a garlic sauce, so I really appreciated her telling me that because I avoid garlic but decided to order it anyway. And I'm so glad I did! The noodles did not bother me! My adult son calls Flower Child "that hippie place" and while waiting there for our ToGo order, some hippies got in line. I just had to take a pic!

I really like flower child. Atmosphere is nice. They have a small patio if you like eating outside. They have a lot of healthy choices that are really yummy. The smashed potatoes are great and the broccoli is nicely roasted and has a zesty lemon taste. I hear their sweet potato fries are delicious and want to try those. Oh, they also have a very lovely sangria that is delicious. I will definitely come back.

I feel like I don't know anyone who has not dined at flower Child! If you like healthy whole food, you have to come try the spot! Their "cheese" dip is highly addictive. Don't say I didn't warned you!

I got a nine inch panini on focaccia bread paired with the soup of the moment: potato, leek, and artichoke soup, which was surprisingly so good and comforting. My friend ordered the same combo but paired hers with the Brussels sprout salad and had her panini on focaccia bread with tuna. She was also offered three wine tastings, which we thought was such a nice touch! To end everything, we tried the hot donut dots and they were amazing. It truly is the best beard I have ever had before. I would come eat here again JUST FOR THE BREAD. The crab cake is out of this world. Huge jumbo clumps. Also comes with a variety of sauces. The wasabi one was our favorite. You must order the crab cake! My husband got the ribeye rare and said it was the best steak he has had, and he eats a ton of steak. I got their off menu item of carne asada tacos. The meat was sooooo tender. They don't use flank steak they use a tenderloin and it just melts. The mushrooms were Devine. Glad I ordered the carne asada. The adult Mac and cheese was good but just good. Brussels sprouts were good (not the best I have had) but I think I was also just so full by this point. The bar seating issue is enough to make me think about whether I want to go there again. Our server, Madison, was great. She was helpful, friendly, communicated well, and let us set the pace. Started with cocktails, which was an interesting experience, because the bar had some difficulties and so each of four drinks was brought out one at a time with a few minutes in between each. Not a huge deal but weird. Enjoyed a couple of wedge salads, which were nice. For entrées, one couple shared the flat iron steak, which they both enjoyed. The crabcake and fillet special was very good. The fried pork rustica was excellent. It's a lot of pork, but I would recommend it.

I had booked a reservation on Resy and we were seated immediately in a small, intimate booth. Initially, it was not terribly loud, but as the evening progressed and several large parties were seated nearby; the sound of the music was completely drowned out. I think more noise abatement measures could be taken to absorb some of the obtrusive loudness we were getting. For a starter, we ordered the Calamari. It was fried perfectly and was great, but the Thai Sticky sauce was too sweet and the consistency of the sauce was thin. It needed something to make it more viscous, and a secondary sauce, like a marinara or even an aioli would've been nice to balance out the sweetness of the Thai sauce. For an entree, I ordered the Maple- Ginger Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and itself was delicious, but the sauce was too sweet and rich. The fired rice that accompanied my meal was over-the-top salty. It was almost going into "too much" territory. For desert we split the Passion Fruit Ice Cream Pie. This was actually very good and not overly sweet. It was my favorite item from my meal. Overall Renny's truly employs a lot of care and attention to the food, but some of the items crossed a line into "too much" territory. Be it sweetness or saltiness, the kitchen could exercise a bit of restraint to let the flavors of the food shine.
