I have been seeing this Original ChopShop for several weeks and decided to give them a try. Walking in I really liked the vibe of the place. It is really woodsy and earthy feeling. I also liked the feeling it gave me when I learned they are trying to deliver a healthier product than you get at most places. I ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. I chose Jasmine rice as my base and grilled vegetables to be included in the bowl. What came out was really good, and I felt good after eating it too! The staff deserves mention here too. I interacted with three different employees during my visit and my interactions could not have been more pleasant. This place was a really good experience all the way around and I will definitely be back to enjoy again!

all I can say is yummy, healthy, very fulfilling, extra yummy, my favorite spot. The food is always fresh. The service is always friendly and the establishment is always clean. If you're looking for a healthy meal this is a great option. I always enjoy eating here and I wish there was a location in my home area Lancaster, Texas, unfortunately it is not, and I have to travel to come and enjoy these awesome salad bowls. But it is always worth it and if I'm in the area, I'm always stopping by.

Plenty of on site parking for lunchtime on a Friday. We were cheerfully greeted upon entering. Placed orders at the front counter. Given a number for food delivery to our booth. All surfaces were clean. Our orders for party of 3 were brought to our booth promptly and correctly. Paper napkins and plastic forks were also brought to our booth. Lots of available booths and tables inside and on patio available during noon on a warm cloudy Friday. Able to carry on conversation at our booth. Dining room is full of windows and contemporary with simple decor. My Thai chicken peanut dressing greens salad was just over $13. Tasty and enough of a portion for the cost (2025). Served in a compostable cardboard bowl. I did not have chance to inspect bathroom. Great experience here. Staff are courteous and well trained. 5 stars.

This was my first time visiting this place and I'll definitely be going back. Josh provided topnotch customer service. I didn't know wheat to order and he helped me figure it out. I landed on the hot honey bowl and it did not disappoint. The hot honey flavor was DELICIOUS. I thought about saving half for later but I ate the entire thing.

It was one of those 110° degree Texas summer day where I was hungry and also too hot to eat. Original ChopShop to the rescue. The strawberry ginger fresh lemonade hit the spot. Get the large , it's so refreshing in this heat! I chose the Thai Coconut Chicken bowl with roasted veggies and forbidden rice. Warning: it comes with cilantro for those of you who taste soap. The peanut sauce really pulls this together. A delicious healthy high protein meal that was light enough to enjoy on a sweltering day. This place is counter service and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is very bright and clean. So many healthy options on the menu and great selection for vegetarian or gluten free diets. This has quickly become my favorite lunch spot.

What I got, and what's in this picture are not identical at all.

The restaurant is five minutes from my house, and when my food arrived by delivery, it was cold. So, I heated it up and then tasted it, and it seemed to be old and stale. I could not eat it so I threw it in the trash... What a waste of time and money.! So long chop shop, you get chopped!!!

This restaurant is very cute. Located right across the parking lot from whole foods. They serve nutritious meals and freshly squeezed juiced which are incredible! I came here for dinner with my friend. The food was lukewarm like it had been sitting out for a while. The flavor was good and healthy but definitely not freshly cooked. My freshly squeezed juice took over 15 minutes to prepare but I think they forgot about my drink because I had to go ask where it was. Customer service was good; everyone was nice and the restaurant was clean. I'll be back for a salad or juice but not the food. I ordered the GF oatmeal cookie which was okay as well. Overall this is just a decent place.

I had a nice beet salad which was very refreshing and tasty. My family tried the açaí bowls and spicy Korean bowl. The place is casual, friendly, clean and with outdoor dining. It's a place to frequent if I lived here.

Update: I changed my rating to 5 stars since the ap has been updated Love this refreshingly, healthy option regardless of your food lifestyle! As a vegan, it can be challenging at times to eat out, however the Original Chopshop definitely delivers! I can substitute any entree for tofu protein or just veggies. They completely understand if you have food allergies or lactose issues. The substitution game is on point! If you want a spicy vegan option, try the Spicy Korean Steak, substite steak for well-done pan seared tofu with forbidden rice! Delish!!! They are open early enough to get your breakfast fix on too! I was sad to not be able to give 5 stars however it was due to the app giving very limited food substitutions. Other than that the app is good as well as the rewards!!

FLAVOR! I was in the area for work and needed to grab a quick lunch. Boy, was this a great decision! The staff was very helpful in making recommendations for a first-timer. The decor is very casual/modern, which is clean and serves the purpose. The music is a bit loud even outside but overall enjoyable. The food was delicious, it was spicy (but not too spicy), fresh and not too filling. If you are in the area, be sure to swing by to try their menu!

Very nice woman providing extra level customer service!

We highly enjoyed our visit to the original chopshop. The food was very good , was very fresh and healthy. The customer service was absolutely fantastic and they were nice and caring and accommodating! Our daughter gave them axolotl stickers and they loved it!!

Funny story: I drove in from Oklahoma and wanted a healthy lunch/dinner option and when this came up on Yelp, I literally yelped for joy. You see I just moved to OKC from the Los Angeles/Orange County area and one of my favorite, healthy and affordable lunch spots was in Santa Monica on 4th St Promenade and it was called ChopShop. It was a Vietnamese place that was setup "Chipotle Style" where you could build your own bowl or wrap. Sadly, it didn't make it so I nearly choked thinking "I didn't know that place originated in Dallas" and drove straight over. Needless to say this is NOT that same restaurant BUT I am still very glad I came. You cannot build your own but they do have a lot of Bowl, Sandwich, Wrap, Salad and Smoothie options from a set menu and you can ask for some customization (within reason). The staff was friendly and offered helpful suggestions. I ended up with a delicious and healthy bowl and they have a good variety of unsweetened ice tea options. The decor does remind me of a coastal kitchen type of place but based on some of the photos near the bathroom, I believe they may have originated in Arizona.

Although I was eligible for a room upgrade, it wasn't ready so I took a regular king, which was fine. I appreciated the ability to get in prior to noon as I was headed to the game. I didn't spend much time at the hotel but the service, lobby and room met my picky expectations . The king room was big enough for 2 adults along with my 70 pound boxer and small dog. My only complaint is no grass nearby. It is downtown so I get it but a small patch would be helpful. There is a pet area next door but it's dirt and let's just say my dogs need grass ‍ they aren't accustomed to using the bathroom in dirt so apparently they thought they were doing something wrong ‍. I fibbed I have a second complaint, the restaurant service was extremely slow and the silverware was gross I had to get multiple switchouts. That's fixable and I'll be nice and not dock stars for it I'd definitely come back if I have my pups and need to be in the downtown Dallas area.

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.

I hit the jackpot gem with Bucket and Rope. This place is just off the main areas in downtown near the Dallas Farmer's Market. The patrons are mostly locals who know what's up. The layout is spacious but welcoming. I sat at the bar as I was solo, but there were plenty of great seating options including comfortable couches. The patio is currently being re-done, but will be perfect for the upcoming fall season. The menu offerings were plentiful and varied, but there are specials and rotating options as well. Alexa at the bar greeted me, and went over the menu and specials with me. She did a great job making my cocktails and giving casual conversation throughout. I ordered the off-menu Steak Frites with broccolini and fries. The steak was charred perfectly on the outside and moist and at the lovely medium temp on the inside. The broccolini was on point with just a bit of spice from the red pepper. Fries were shoestring style, and they did it right with that perfect crisp on the outside and soft inside. I learned that Thursdays are paella night! What a great surprise in downtown Dallas! When in the city again, this will absolutely be my go to place for cocktails and great food.

He said, "Okay, I got it," and he absolutely delivered! We ate, enjoyed ourselves, and still had time to spare. Excellent service! Now, the food! We had the shrimp deviled eggs--EXCELLENT! We also ordered the lobster mac & cheese, fried catfish, pork chops, black-eyed peas cooked with smoked turkey over rice, collard greens, smoked oysters, grilled shrimp appetizer, wild berry lemon drops, and strawberry lemonade. Everything was delicious. Not one disappointing dish on the table. Then came the bill...$450 for four people, with no dessert. That was definitely a bit of a shock. We realized gratuity had already been added, which helped explain the total, but it still felt steep and took a little of the shine off an otherwise great experience. The food was amazing, the service was on point, and Cam did exactly what we needed him to do. But $450 for four people with no dessert? That part was hard to swallow--and it wasn't the food!
