5 stars--for Tucker! Tucker absolutely made our visit. He was so accommodating, charming, and genuinely went out of his way to seat us and make sure our order was perfect. He's the reason this review gets a 5. The food itself was also great and definitely worth trying. Now for the restaurant experience as a whole--I'd give it a 3. The wait was extremely long; it took over an hour for our food to come out. The biggest downside was the manager or person in charge. I understand the place was busy, but in the service industry, composure matters. His attitude toward the staff and overall demeanor were unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch. It really took away from the atmosphere. If it weren't for Tucker and the quality of the food, the rating would've been much lower. Tucker deserves all the recognition! read more

Great service, but maybe a little too much. I dined here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and the crowd was very light. I assume because of this, our waiter dedicated ALL of his time to us. At some point, I just want to enjoy my meal without any interruption for 7 minutes. The menu options were decent. I ordered the All-American because I was hungry. This place did not work for me in so many ways. First it is very loud and seating is tightly packed which is not good for a gentle morning. The food was just okay, it was too spicy for my taste, others may enjoy that, it's a personal preference. While those two points are subjectively personal preferences and you may enjoy a little noise and spice the most objective point is the service. It was awful. After we were seated it took a long time to flag down a waitress who then took our coffee order and then we sat. And then we sat... And then we sat... coffee was nearly done and then she took our order for food after flagging her down again. The noise was really starting to get to me at this point. Then our food was delivered (pictured) I had the Frenchie, and it was okay, but too spicy for my taste. As we were eating we ran out of coffee and our waitress was nowhere to be found. I got up and looked for her and flagged her down to grab us some more. When we finished I had to again wait a while before flagging her down to pay the bill. I walked the bill up myself because I was tired of wasting time and got a to go cup for my Wife's coffee and packed it myself. All in all I would not recommend this place. There is so much competition in the breakfast joint market and this place doesn't measure up. I will be sticking with my rotation of First Watch, Fairview Farmer's, and Bloom Lounge. read more

The once cute, insta-friendly decor has aged badly, the floor is as sticky as a Waffle House. The server was very attentive and extremely friendly. Her name may have started with a "B." Know that you will definitely leave there full. *Recommendation* It would be helpful for management to find a storage area for the employees personal effects. Great breakfast locale in the Addison area the decor is fun and lively from the moment you enter and the piped in light rock gets you going too! Service was excellent and I have further appreciation for a restaurant that follows your requests to point. Super cute place with a great look. Hubby ordered the double decker tacos (he could have gotten one with a side, two he said was a lot). I'm on a smoked salmon bennie kick lately, so I got that. Everything was yummy. My poached eggs were done perfectly and the sauce on top was delicious. The servers were very nice. We'll certainly be back. Food is so so good here! One of our favorite brunch/breakfast spots for sure. The staff are friendly and the ambiance is super cutesy. If you're lucky enough to be seated in an egg booth, that's an added plus (but beware: it creates like an echo chamber that amplifies the nearby tables' conversations as if they were sitting next to you). Our faves for tacos are the Benny and the Jets and the Chicken Chimichurri. The chimichurri fried rice alone is phenomenal and would be bomb on anything! Chocolate Strawberry Waffle is bussin. The Chicken and Waffles was a miss because the chicken was dry and not very well seasoned; however, the waffles and maple butter were a hit! Hash Browns are bussin. Eggdaddy is one of our FAVORITE brunch/lunch spots, and it has never disappointed us. Today we walked in and were immediately greeted, and it was kind of funny because the girl was wearing blue overalls and with their uniform yellow tshirts and it reminded us of the Despicable Me minions It wasn't very busy and the music was at a good level so we could speak comfortably without raising our volume. They always do a great job with their drinks and my bf loves their grapefruit juice. We noticed they had a new menu with updated options and decided to give them a try. The bowls were delicious and my boyfriend finished his in less than 10 minutes lol My bowl was also good and the chicken was juicy. I could've personally done without the waffle fries since I'm a rice lover, but that's just my personal preference. The portions were generous and I had plenty leftover for dinner. Food, horrible. Service, horrible. I was the only customer and still never got drink refilled so had to do myself. Never got my check cause waitress was busy talking to the manager. Do not get the steak and eggs. The steak is nasty as all hell. It's burnt outside and the charred layer is thick of old grill char taste. My fiancé LOVES eggs, so I took him here to check it out. The restaurant itself is adorable, everything from the salt shakers to the ceiling lights are egg themed! We were fortunate enough to sit in one of the giant egg booths which was a cool experience. The food doesn't look like a lot, but it's extremely filling and reasonably priced. My chicken and waffles was delicious, whatever seasoning they use in that batter is to die for! I docked one star because of the lack of egg quantity in the dishes. My fiancé can eat 12 in one sitting, and suggested there be an option to just order a huge plate of eggs. Maybe an egg eating challenge where if you eat 50 or something you get them for free like some restaurants do with other foods. Overall a wonderful stop for brunch. I icame on Sunday afternoon for brunch by myself. I definitely believe this is a spot you go for a date, friends, or with family. The ambiance is what you make it with the people you're with. The seating is built more so for groups. They do have a bar but when I went it seemed like the employees used it only. The decor of the restaurant is very fitting with its theme and unique. Pieces like the egg chandelier and egg-shape booth were unique touches to the place. The service was very straightforward for just getting you seated. Not really friendly but somewhat understandable because they were pretty busy with customers steady coming. I will say when I asked for a check it took a lot longer than I anticipated. While waiting for food which took way too long to come out, I observed multiple times cross contamination in the kitchen. Just because you wear gloves does not mean you can touch everything and anything while prepping food. The worst part was watching either the manager or server, whoever he was, squeeze a wet rag used to wipe tables from the bucket at the food check station, and then because a dish came out, wipe his hands with a napkin, and proceed to squeeze a lemon on to the food. The servers worked as a team; all of them were friendly and quite competent. I ordered a jalapeño bowl with egg, turkey sausage, cheese, hash browns and half an English muffin on the bottom. It wasn't bad but I don't think the muffin was necessary. I also had a cup of coffee; it was lukewarm but when I switched to decaf, it was nice and hot. Prices were reasonable and there were a lot of breakfast options. They also serve lunch. Would I go back? Sure. But there are a lot of breakfast options in the area and I like to explore. So if someone wants to go there, I'd happily go back. But there are better places nearby. read more

Bright colors and dining area, friendly staff. Smaller dining area than expected, but overheard someone say that they have a back room area too, so not sure if that's the case. This location just recently opened up, and so the place was getting packed the longer I sat down. I ended up getting the Frenchie Sammie (see the pic). My reasoning for the lack of stars is not because the food didn't look delicious (presentation was great) or that the place wasn't nice or the staff wasn't friendly. However the Sammie itself was not a "handheld" Sammy. It was oily, and messy, I had to eat the whole thing with a fork and knife. That's not really what I had intended to do, and as a result I didn't really feel that I got a good sense of what the sandwich and all the flavors together, tasted like. Which is why I have the lack of stars. This seem to be a complaint on their Sammie's looking at other reviews as well. When I think of a Sammie or a sandwich I want to be able to eat the contents of it together as a whole so I can see how the flavors go together....isn't that the point! Also with all that going on they also give it to you on a saucer sized plate. I had to ask for a bigger plate to ensure that it didn't fall all over the place as I was cutting and eating it. Also kinda of nice they have a quick and short menu not so many options because it helps keep things moving quicker. You order up front and take a number and seat and they bring it to your table. So check the menu out before you go if you want to make the process quicker. Needless to say the food was good from what I did taste, but think some work needs to be done on how it's made. I had no problems with the abundance of dill on my avo toast, but that's because I'm a fan of it, but be aware that you do get a lot of it. Honestly, the only reason why this doesn't get a five from me is the price point. These three things with no drink cost me about $30 and I left feeling not as full as I wanted to be. $6 for one taco, although really good, is hard for me to justify eating here often. Idk about this. $11 for a small slice of avocado toast which really should be called dill toast. It is my opinion that this is far too much dill and I had to pull all of it off to eat it. Not a fan. Coffee is from ascension and it was good, service was mostly friendly. Pretty loud and a real war ensued about sitting in the egg booths. There was a group clearly holding the table for a large party by putting their purse there, and a server went and picked it up so a couple could sit in there instead.... I was not a fan of employees touching the bag and it was clear what was going on / why it was there. Great concept, great people, and great food. This might be the most unique place i've been in a while. A great place for an unofficial yelp event. Got the All American w/sausage and wheat toast. Sunnyside up eggs, of course and black coffee. Loved it all, however the hashbrowns were a little strange with one being crisp and the other soft fried. I liked them both. The only thing i had an issue with was the coffee. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but they need to step up the amount they brew cause they kept running out. I really want to thank Trinh T. for setting this event up. I had a great time and met some more great yelpers to add to my friends list.
