This review comes from some one who loves TACOS and is from LA. I eat tacos pretty frequently and while on my trip to Dallas tacos had to be on my list to eat. There are some tables inside. Pretty clean. There is a bar area. Pretty simple menu. You order at the counter even for dine in and pay for it first then they bring the food out to you. Ordered: *Suadero taco *Pastor taco *Cabeza taco *Gucamole and Chips Out of everything we ordered, the suadero was the best tasting taco out of all the meats we tried. The guacamole didn't taste seasoned. Just as if you took the avocado and smashed it. The food is a bit expensive if you ask me. You order at the counter first and then they bring the food to you. I would only recommend the suadero other than that I would say this spot you can skip. Tips: *Credit card accepted *Restroom for customers *TV available for viewing *Parking lot shared with other businesses. *Indoor seating only

If you know, you know. El Come is probably the best breakfast taco in town. You can mix and match however you want. Tell them how you'd like it and they'll do it. Amazing. More traditionally, the street tacos, fajita, onions and cilantro on two corn tortillas is killed. Menu is extensive and every thing on there is great. Friendly staff with great prices makes it even better.

Fish, Beef, Chicken Tacos, Chips + Guacamole Pretty solid casual taco spot! Nice and affordable, and very tasty! Chips and guac were good too. Close to medical center!

Fajita (steak) taco & breakfast taco with chorizo

I got the Fajita taco & breakfast taco with chorizo, Jaimaica agua fresca and chips and salsa. The tacos were great! The fajita taco was amazing and after adding the salsa verde, it was soo delicious had a lot of flavor to it! I ended up ordering another one because it was so tasty. The breakfast taco lacked some flavor in my opinion but was still enjoyable to eat, I probably just wouldn't order it again. Salsa was amazing and tasted super fresh and was spicy! I will definitely come back!

We've been here 3 weekends in a row. Flavorful home cooking. It's a convenient location near White Rock Lake, so a good quick food option after a long run, bike ride or walk through the lake. Michoacán style tacos & tortas, delicious dark red roasted chili salsa. Recommend the breakfast torta & all of the tacos - especially lengua, mahi, and pollo abodado with cactus & potato Great variety. Also a good spot to watch La Liga or EPL matches on the weekend. Nice folks

Awesome tacos. We got an assortment of street tacos, chips and salsa and a margarita. Food was super simple but very well done.

The food is always good here. Pastor taco is my favorite. Can't really go wrong with anything here. Especially the drinks. 3 stars for the service. The other times I've been here the service was fantastic. We asked for cups of water and they said that they don't do that here. They said we would have to buy bottles of water if we wanted it. The last few times we've been here we got cups of water no problem. The staff just wasn't that friendly this time. This is why I do believe you need to go to a restaurant many times as people can have off days. It's definitely worth it to try the tacos as they are really good.

10/10 - food and service. Ordered beef and pastor tacos, chips and guacamole (best guac I've had). Will definitely come back to try more.

Best Tacos in Dallas!!! Hands down, best REAL tacos I. Town. And their salsa verde is on point! Order at the counter and they quickly deliver your food. Fast prompt service every time. They also have a projector showing games on a wall, as well as another TV mounted. Small little full bar. Nights like tonight they were packed with a line almost out the door, yet they still delivered food fast!

Okay... have to admit.. the tacos are better here than I've had in LA. Flavorful and not greasy. Hella chill establishment, clean Friendly service - order at the counter and they will bring to you fairly quickly. Marinated pork house taco with cactus, potato & grilled onions was def one of my favorites & the crispy tripe Another foodie adventure with a happy tummy

From an Arizonan, El Come Taco was okay; it honestly can't compare to the tacos we have! The ambiance is casual; place your order at the counter, receive a number, and your order will be brought out to you. There were several TVs playing the soccer game and music playing. There is also a bar as well as a connection to the Speakeasy next door. Props for the diverse menu and authentic options of cabeza, tripa, lengua, and sesos! We had the Texas Taco (Beef, cheese, jalapeno, and avocado), Pastor, Fajita (Beef), and Fish tacos, and Street Corn. The pastor and fajita tacos could have used more meat. The fish taco was very crisp and mostly breading. Flavors overall were good. One of the salsas was a tad spicy!

This was my second visit- I had beef tacos and a potato taco with cactus. They were delicious! I'm from San Diego, CA and I'm picky about my tacos, this place is pretty good! Will be back for more.

    Do they still serve chapulines?

    yes they do

There are two photos under this restaurant that show crickets covered in sauce? Umm, what's up with that?

Taco de Chapulin are a specialty of this place. I had some last week and they are interesting. Crunchy and tangy.

Here in Texas, chips and salsa are such a commonplace experience it's off-putting to pay for them. We ordered the guacamole and the chips and salsa come with it, so that was, I guess, better...but the guacamole was $16, so there's that. The salsa was tasty as was the guacamole, but again, for the portion it's really not worth it. We had the queso flameado, which was yummy and the flour tortillas are good! We split the sirloin and were underwhelmed. For a grilled meats place the steak was very under seasoned and wasn't giving us fresh hot grilled vibes. Meh at best, as were the rice and beans. We ordered elote as a side and it was really the best thing we ate. Service was friendly and efficient! Cocktails average $16ish. Again, for the prices we expected better.

I'll admit I was very skeptical about The Chicharrónes because they're either cooked right or they're not. They got it down here. Chris our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time walking us through the menu and explaining what made El Carlos Elegante so special. The drinks were perfect. My wife loved her Desert Flor while I thoroughly enjoyed my Modelo Micheleda. Her Surf and Turf one hitter was exceptional. I have to say my Crab Cake was just ok. It tasted a little pasty and very heavy on the bread. The Pulpo was absolutely amazing. Perfect texture and the sauce it was served almost had me licking the plate. The El Machete was incredible from its presentation, to the freshness of the corn tortilla, to the quality of the meat inside. Definitely recommend this. We really liked our Okra + Shishito course, we just wished it had more okra in it. The two things I loved about the Al Pastor was of course the sauce it was served on but the fact that I got to enjoy it like a steak. It was served sliced on a bias like flank steak. Typically Al Pastor is finely chopped and served in tacos and burritos, so this was a different eating experience for me. And of course it was delicious as well. We cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.

That visit checked every box -- the food, service, ambiance, and overall hospitality were all exceptional. What really stood out to me then was the attention to detail. I had casually mentioned that one of my cocktails wasn't quite my taste, and Harry personally reached out afterward to say they'd gladly adjust it next time. That kind of thoughtful follow-up leaves a lasting impression and is exactly the sort of hospitality that elevates a restaurant experience. Unfortunately, this recent visit felt like a completely different restaurant. We decided to do a combination of à la carte dishes along with the Experience menu after being told this version would feature entirely off-menu items, which genuinely intrigued us since Ihad also done the Experience previously. At the start of dinner, we were asked about allergies and dietary restrictions. I clearly explained that I have a mango allergy and do not eat beef. Our server then asked whether I ate other meats, and I clarified yes -- and even specifically mentioned that if the machete dish was beef, please still include it because my friend could enjoy it and I really wanted her to try it. He confirmed it would be the sirloin version, so we happily agreed not to modify that course. So imagine our surprise when one of the first dishes arrived dressed with a mango vinaigrette. Thankfully, we barely caught him quietly mentioning "mango" as he set it down. We immediately looked at each other thinking, "Didn't we just discuss the allergy?" It was disappointing, but unfortunately also representative of the overall service throughout the evening. Our server seemed disengaged, inattentive, and often not fully listening. Empty glasses sat untouched, opportunities to order additional items were missed, and at one point we were simply handed the check without even being asked if we wanted anything else. We also ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and ended up pouring it ourselves for most of the evening because our glasses were rarely refilled. I completely understand not leaving the bottle tableside if walkway space is limited, but repeatedly needing to get up ourselves to retrieve it felt out of sync with the level of service one expects from a Michelin-recommended restaurant -- especially at this price point. Then came the machete dish. Instead of the sirloin version we specifically discussed, we received the vegetarian potato version. When the server asked how it looked, I politely explained that we were disappointed because he had specifically told us it would be the sirloin preparation. At minimum, I would have expected another protein substitution given the earlier conversation about what I could eat. I'm also still unclear whether the Experience menu was truly "off-menu" as described, since several dishes -- including the halibut -- appeared familiar. Had that been communicated differently, we likely would have skipped the Experience altogether and simply curated our own meal. At the end of the night, spending over $500 while pouring our own wine, nearly being served an allergen we explicitly disclosed, and receiving dishes different from what was promised made for a deeply disappointing experience -- especially after such a phenomenal first visit. It honestly felt sad more than anything because I know how wonderful this restaurant can be. I'm not sure what changed in the last five months, but the difference was significant.
