    Breakfast Burrito
    Karisa A.

Flavorful breakfast burrito with room for improvement! Ambiance & Service: I called in a weekday afternoon order--ready in about 15 minutes. Heads up: no indoor seating! Food: I got a breakfast burrito with potato, egg, cheese, beans, and guac. The tortilla was perfectly charred, and the flavors were great--especially the spicy salsa! My only gripe was the lack of egg; some bites were mostly beans and guac. A bit more egg would've made it a 5/5. TL;DR: Tasty, flavorful burrito and great salsa--just wish it had more egg. No indoor seating, so plan ahead!

Yes I do recommend this place. We finally found ourselves here and I can't wait to go back. I ordered the Zack attack burrito for the hubby with salsa inside the burrito. Amazing Ordered my dog Taco a plain egg burrito. He loves eggs and home made tortillas. And let's say he ate 1/4 of the burrito and enjoyed it. got myself the huevos con chorizo plate comes with potatoes and tortillas. Soooo delish All we can say is it's so damn good. Everything and I mean everything has flavor. The beans, the eggs the potatoes. We had to get two Mexican cokes. It's all to go. But honestly couldn't wait to get home. Hehe Love the support they provide the community. Love the ladies working there super positive and sweet. Keep killing it. P.s got so into our food we forgot to take pics, but there will be future visits

A great spot for Mexican food! I ordered the tamale and the drew (not pictured because I was too excited to eat) and they both did not disappoint. The breakfast burrito was my overall winner as it had egg, cheese, square, and potato! They have a house made salsa that is amazing! We came here on Saturday morning around 10:30 and we waited about 30 minutes but the staff were all friendly and notified us of the wait before ordering.

Great service with a extensive menu full of delicious Mexican food. Would highly recommend you come here for not only the food but for the fun quick service ambience. There are a lot of good things to get here but I would recommend the Tamales or The Lance Breakfast Burrito!

    Zack Attack, no Jelopeno

Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I have seen the popularity of this place and how they won best burrito in Texas- I am utterly confused as to how that happened. I ordered Zack Attack, no jelopeno. They totally skipped any sort of meat. I had egg, potato (regular white potato btw, it's not a fried crispy potato. It's like the inside of a baked potato) cheese and beans. It unfortunately sucked and tasted like nothing. They advertise a cheap $6 10 inch burrito, but it's closer to $10 and the burrito is skinny. Utterly disappointing, I will not go back. The reviews about 0 flavor are correct.

Amazing Mexican brunch spot located in the Old East part of Dallas. From the outside, it looks a little like a drive in and once you go in, you can place your order for to go as they don't necessarily have a dine in option. Regardless, this doesn't take away from how great the ambiance and food here is. From the second you step inside, you get a feel you're going to get true authentic Mexican food with fresh ingredients! The staff inside is always friendly and quick with getting you your food. They're definitely known for some of their breakfast burritos, but you can't go wrong as everything on their menu is great and worth a try. Overall, definitely recommend, especially if you live nearby!

We got The Lance and bacon, egg, and cheese tacos at La Victoria. Overall, the food was excellent- particularly The Lance. Our service was friendly. My main con was that it took a while to get our food. While I should have called ahead to order (no online orders), a 25-30 min wait ended up taking around 40 minutes. The food was overall great but not worth that long of a wait. Overall, I would recommend this place if you time it correctly with a call ahead order.

I crave the breakfast burritos from here DAILY. I tried the chorizo & egg burrito and added potatoes and jalapenos to it - SO flavorful and filling. I paired it with their hot salsa which was spicy & smoky. Honestly though, the burrito is so flavorful that I didn't even feel like I needed salsa. The flour tortilla is also nice and stretchy. It seems like a homey family run business. I felt like I was at my grandma's house when I picked up my food. I'm already looking forward to the day that I come back. It's a pick-up only establishment and there's plenty of parking!

    Breakfast Burrito - Drew

I recently visited La Victoria for breakfast and had the Drew Breakfast Burrito. The crisp toasted tortilla was filled with fluffy eggs, soft savory potatoes, gooey cheese, and soft sausage. The side of flavorful salsa paired nicely. Keep in mind the restaurant is to go only and has no seating (we didn't realize this and ate in the car). It can take a while to get your food as well even when it doesn't seem very busy. It appeared many locals called ahead to put in their orders.

Had to come try La Victoria after some co-workers said it had some of the best Breakfast burritos! I had always passed by the location but never knew they were even open. Well let me start off by saying that my friends were not wrong. I got the "Lance" Sausage,Bacon,Egg,Cheese and Salsa. It was delicious! The size of the burrito for the price is definitely worth it. Next time all go ahead place my order ahead of time, it can get pretty busy. Everyone there was very helpful and the place was nice and clean.

Rather than ordering à la carte, I chose the Elegante Experience, a four-course chef-curated tasting menu that concludes with dessert for $99 per person. The menu evolves with the seasons, allowing the kitchen to showcase its freshest ingredients and current specialties, so every visit has the potential to be a little different. For the quality of the ingredients, creativity, and execution, I thought it was an outstanding value. Every course was beautifully prepared and packed with flavor. Not a single dish felt like an afterthought. The house-made masa program and wood-fired cooking really shine throughout the meal, and it's easy to see why this restaurant has earned such a strong reputation. The service was prompt, attentive, and genuinely courteous without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere strikes a rare balance, it feels refined while still being warm, familial, and incredibly inviting. If you're ordering a cocktail, I highly recommend the El Dragón. It paired perfectly with the meal and is worth trying. I've uploaded several photos with this review be sure to flip through them to get an idea of just how beautiful the presentation is. El Carlos Elegante is one of those restaurants that reminds you a tasting menu doesn't have to be intimidating or overpriced. It simply delivers outstanding food, excellent hospitality, and an experience that feels well worth the price. I'll definitely be back.
