The barbacoa didn't taste anything like authentic barbacoa it was closer to like a brisket. That being said it was good. The salsas lacked flavor as did the guacamole, it was just mashed avocado with no salt, garlic, or limón. The horchata was also not authentic, very thick in texture and had no flavor. It's a new local spot that we're excited to have in the neighborhood. The food is good, our favorite is the barbacoa quesadillas. However, last time we went, the tap water was broken, so they forced us to buy $4 water bottles. They also give the tiniest bag of chips. And they charge you $2 for an extra bag. And these bags of chips couldn't cost more than 30 cents. It's just not good business. When you have your competitors giving unlimited chips, and you're nickel and diming your regulars for chips. Even if you get the dip trio, you still only get one really small bag of chips. They also didn't have the mango margarita available for an unknown reason.
