I first like to thank victor for a having exceptional customer service. This was one of the few restaurants open on Labor Day. Upon walking in it looks very clean and well kept. Music was playing a very good variety of music made me want to do a little dance. I tried the el pastor, mushroom and carne asada taco. My sister order the carne asada fries. I'm not gonna lie. These are some of the best tacos I've had. They're not street tacos. They are super full tacos. 3 will get you so full. I tried two of the steak tacos in one of the Pastor tacos that got everything was so good. I really wish that they were cheaper, of course, but it's really good and worth it! Service was good. The team did with they were supposed to do... You can eat inside or they have tables outside... I wish the air was blowing a little harder indoors but a good spot to go. Stopped in looking for some great tacos and the Taco Stand delivered. We came in at lunchtime and were greeted right away by the friendly cashier. She answered all of our questions and was quite helpful. The restaurant is cute and very inviting. We got an assortment of tacos as well as a Norteno and Elotes. I walked into The Taco Stand with absolutely zero expectations. In fact, my first impression wasn't particularly encouraging. The surrounding neighborhood, however, was a pleasant surprise. This place was great! Surprised it was a chain bc it all feels very homemade. I ordered the California burrito. Great value for the price! The steak was tender and the burrito was more than enough for lunch. I loved it! I especially enjoyed the cilantro salsa from the free salsa bar. There are a ton of flavors and spice levels to try. I sat outside and they have a convenient speaker system so you can hear your name called while you're out there. The cashier was kind and helpful in describing the menu. We walked to the Taco Stand one Saturday afternoon. Victor greeted us at the cashier and discovered I could speak a little Spanish. So he playfully said I could talk to him in Spanish and he would talk with me in English. Already I like these guys. I ordered the Quesadilla Pastor and my date had three tacos beef, chicken and al pastor (pork). We finished the order and I asked if he gave discounts to the residents who lived in the neighborhood. He did but I had already paid, so he added a couple of Churros to the order. Nice guy! The inside is a little on the small side but we found a table. You should check out the drink holders that swing out from under the table by the legs - pretty cool. I admit I'm sometimes easily amused. Victor came out and spoke with us and suggested the better salsa for the Quesadilla. It took a few minutes but it was worth the wait. Absolutely delicious! And the Churros were fantastic.
