Okay - I have worked in an office across the street for a year and just tried this neighborhood gem today! Ordered two mushroom tacos and a churro to go. So hungry that I ate the tacos in house from my to go bag. Veggie and gluten free to boot! They have a serve yourself salsa bar and a soft drinks as well. Love the Cilantro Salsa and Pico De Gallo - so good! Oh, and the churros...so decadent! A must try! Don't miss this little casual spot...affordable and delish!

Stopped by a taco stand while visiting Dallas and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip! I tried three different tacos and every single one was great--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. The staff were also super friendly, which made the experience better. Highly recommend!

This place was great! Surprised it was a chain bc it all feels very homemade. I ordered the California burrito. Great value for the price! The steak was tender and the burrito was more than enough for lunch. I loved it! I especially enjoyed the cilantro salsa from the free salsa bar. There are a ton of flavors and spice levels to try. I sat outside and they have a convenient speaker system so you can hear your name called while you're out there. The cashier was kind and helpful in describing the menu. They will validate your parking for two hours in the garage right next to the restaurant. I will be back!

Compared to other taco spots in Dallas, I wouldn't say The Taco Stand is my favorite, but to be fair, I did go for the Carne Asada Burrito. The burrito was decent, though mine had a lot of beans, which made it a bit messy and kind of overwhelmed the whole thing. I wasn't a huge fan of the salsas either. On the bright side, I really enjoyed the jalapeños on the side--they were refreshing and spicy!

I rarely try new taco places in Dallas because I already have favorites but a friend brought me here. You order at the counter and they call you when it's ready. They have a self-serve salsa bar. They have indoor seating as well as a patio. The tacos had great flavor, I got the carne asada which was moist and delicious and the mushroom which was fantastic. Simple but more elevated than a street taco.

I came here because I felt like shite and needed to eat badly. It was a great power up. This restaurant is from cali so it has a different flavor to it. It's good! 4/5

I would have ordered the whole menu if I could. The tacos were sooo good. I could have had ate 5 more tacos. Lol The lady who took our order was patience as I decided which meats I wanted to try. The inside is quiet and the sitting areas are so spacious. I enjoyed the art on the wall and the each sitting area were Hispanic beer themes. We ordered a Mexican Coke that went well with the tacos. I tried multiple sauces and they were very flavorful. Pollo taco was a 7/10. It's good but the avocado with warm meat made it cold. Al pastor taco was 10/10. The meat had a lime taste like it was marinated. Meat was sooo juicy. Sonora taco had beans that were flavorful. The meat was tender. I could only imagine that taco as a burrito. This taco was 10/10. The Camaron taco has so much shrimp. The seasoning was soo good. I give this taco a 10/10. The carne asada taco was so good with lime and chili verde. This was also 10/10. Every tortilla is handmade. I truly had a great time.

Love that the tortillas and salsas are homemade. If you're looking for great tacos, come here but you may need to order a few tacos to be full. My favorite tacos were the chicken and mushroom. The staff is super friendly. Also, there is seating outside when the weather is nice.

I don't consider 3s bad but I'll probably not seek it out again. The steak and shrimp burrito was filling. But flavor relied on the sauces. Steak was ok by itself. Shrimp was lost in it. The corn on the cob which was elotes style was overly drenched in cheese and underseasoned.

By far the BEST taco I've had since moving to Texas. The mushroom on corn is sooooo GOOOOOD. My husband loves the chicken and the shrimp tacos and the boys do as well. The churros are also super delicious. The service here is amazing they are very welcoming and treat you like family and always with a smile. The space is quaint and not a lot of seating however it's just right for grabbing a taco and munching down with the array of sauce and topping options available on the toppings bar.

This place has really gone down hill. Bad service at the counter. Dirty tables. Dirty bathroom. Asada was cold and hard. Bad all around

It's basically a rite of passage to get tacos from Fuel City. I've lived in DFW for almost 10 years…read moreand have no clue why it took me this long. One random Saturday, we decided to head south and stopped at Fuel City. Note that the taco stand is cash only. I ordered Piccadillo and carne asada tacos and also picked up a cup of elote from the little stand out front. We ended up eating our tacos on the tailgate with the Dallas skyline as our view. Super simple but honestly so perfect. After that we wandered behind the car wash to go look at the longhorns and a couple of donkeys just chilling in the Texas sun. Idk why we waited so long to do this but it was such a cute, inexpensive little date idea. Also this gas station has the BEST snacks, stuff you won't find anywhere near us. If you're ever driving around DFW and see a Fuel City, stop and get some street tacos 24/7. The Piccadillo was my favorite!

I love the tacos and horchata here, and the car wash is solid, but I've learned the hard way not to…read morecome here after dark. The vibe gets sketchy fast. I've actually had two run ins with aggressive people just trying to grab dinner after dark. You'll also see a ton of bikers hanging out; honestly, they don't bother anyone and just chill with their own groups, but the panhandling and people trying to sell you random stuff in the parking lot is constant. Also, skip the snacks inside. They price gouge like crazy! Sometimes nearly 2x what you'd pay at 7-Eleven or Tom Thumb (which aren't even cheap to begin with). Last time I checked, a bag of Hot Cheetos here was 6 bucks! For perspective, they're $3.97 at Walmart and $4.79 at Target, It's a total rip-off. Final pro tip: For the love of God, do not park under the trees on the right side of the lot. I made that mistake once and came out to find my car LITERALLY covered in bird poop. It was so bad I had to drive straight into their car wash just to see out of the windshield. Consider yourself warned.
