Carne asada taco, baja taco, and California burrito

Really good burritos and tacos! The California burrito was good, a lot of great flavors. Enjoy their salsa bar area, they have a few options. Their chips and guac are great, one of my favorite guacs! My only complaint is the music was extremely loud inside :)

Water cups. Salsa/sauce station in front. So good

Amazing food. The sauces on the side are soo good and pair with the food very well. Very casual place. Best when eaten hot while sitting there. Fast service.

The Taco Stand never disappoints! Everything is fresh and full of flavor! Their California burrito is a must try! Don't pass on their mahi shrimp tacos and fish tacos! Service is always great! I always say that there is nothing sadder than going to a taco place and eating bad tacos, that has NEVER been the case at The Taco Stand! We always leave with a smile!

Okay - I have worked in an office across the street for a year and just tried this neighborhood gem today! Ordered two mushroom tacos and a churro to go. So hungry that I ate the tacos in house from my to go bag. Veggie and gluten free to boot! They have a serve yourself salsa bar and a soft drinks as well. Love the Cilantro Salsa and Pico De Gallo - so good! Oh, and the churros...so decadent! A must try! Don't miss this little casual spot...affordable and delish!

This place was great! Surprised it was a chain bc it all feels very homemade. I ordered the California burrito. Great value for the price! The steak was tender and the burrito was more than enough for lunch. I loved it! I especially enjoyed the cilantro salsa from the free salsa bar. There are a ton of flavors and spice levels to try. I sat outside and they have a convenient speaker system so you can hear your name called while you're out there. The cashier was kind and helpful in describing the menu. They will validate your parking for two hours in the garage right next to the restaurant. I will be back!

Stopped by a taco stand while visiting Dallas and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip! I tried three different tacos and every single one was great--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. The staff were also super friendly, which made the experience better. Highly recommend!

Compared to other taco spots in Dallas, I wouldn't say The Taco Stand is my favorite, but to be fair, I did go for the Carne Asada Burrito. The burrito was decent, though mine had a lot of beans, which made it a bit messy and kind of overwhelmed the whole thing. I wasn't a huge fan of the salsas either. On the bright side, I really enjoyed the jalapeños on the side--they were refreshing and spicy!

I rarely try new taco places in Dallas because I already have favorites but a friend brought me here. You order at the counter and they call you when it's ready. They have a self-serve salsa bar. They have indoor seating as well as a patio. The tacos had great flavor, I got the carne asada which was moist and delicious and the mushroom which was fantastic. Simple but more elevated than a street taco.

Looove this place. They have a help yourself hot sauce stand and the tacos are amazing. Definitely recommend the shrimp taco!

I would have ordered the whole menu if I could. The tacos were sooo good. I could have had ate 5 more tacos. Lol The lady who took our order was patience as I decided which meats I wanted to try. The inside is quiet and the sitting areas are so spacious. I enjoyed the art on the wall and the each sitting area were Hispanic beer themes. We ordered a Mexican Coke that went well with the tacos. I tried multiple sauces and they were very flavorful. Pollo taco was a 7/10. It's good but the avocado with warm meat made it cold. Al pastor taco was 10/10. The meat had a lime taste like it was marinated. Meat was sooo juicy. Sonora taco had beans that were flavorful. The meat was tender. I could only imagine that taco as a burrito. This taco was 10/10. The Camaron taco has so much shrimp. The seasoning was soo good. I give this taco a 10/10. The carne asada taco was so good with lime and chili verde. This was also 10/10. Every tortilla is handmade. I truly had a great time.

Love that the tortillas and salsas are homemade. If you're looking for great tacos, come here but you may need to order a few tacos to be full. My favorite tacos were the chicken and mushroom. The staff is super friendly. Also, there is seating outside when the weather is nice.

I don't consider 3s bad but I'll probably not seek it out again. The steak and shrimp burrito was filling. But flavor relied on the sauces. Steak was ok by itself. Shrimp was lost in it. The corn on the cob which was elotes style was overly drenched in cheese and underseasoned.

By far the BEST taco I've had since moving to Texas. The mushroom on corn is sooooo GOOOOOD. My husband loves the chicken and the shrimp tacos and the boys do as well. The churros are also super delicious. The service here is amazing they are very welcoming and treat you like family and always with a smile. The space is quaint and not a lot of seating however it's just right for grabbing a taco and munching down with the array of sauce and topping options available on the toppings bar.

I'll skip the pastor and chicken quesadilla next time, and try and get the birria tacos if I'm there on a Sunday. I didn't get a picture of churros but they were the best I've ever had. Crunchy and flavorful. Service was fast, but the calling of your name (to pick up the order) is super low. I don't know how my friend heard our name. Ambiance is loud, but I was also there during the Mexico WC game, so that's understandable. The place was lively and fun.

There are multiple locations in DFW, and this review is for the Chilangos in Dallas off of Ross. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The two Chilangos locations I've been to are both located in strip malls with a bright, neon "Chilangos Tacos" sign above the entrance. Inside, there's reggaeton music, tons of patrons, and ESL here. Once you place your order, grab a Jarritos, a bright red metal seat, and watch the staff cook your tacos to order. 1 Star. Service - The staff are very friendly and efficient. It really helps if you speak Spanish, so go with someone who does, or point to the menu item you want. Once you place your order, grab a seat and wait for your name to be called. The staff is super nice and efficient, and our order was available in about 5 min. 1 Star. Food - Birria Quesatacos with consume. Memorize it and order it. Kudos to my son who swears by this dish. I am now a believer. The tender seasoned shredded birria beef is so flavorful. The quesataco style melts the cheese into the corn tortilla. And when you take some diced onion and cilantro to top it, dunk it in the consume before biting into the most flavorful taco served in DFW. According to the menu, this dish is only available on the weekend, but I've used food deliver services to get my consume fix during the week so YMMV. Bottom line, it's not just the best item on the menu, it's the best taco bite in all of DFW. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Chilango Tacos is expanding in DFW. There are now multiple locations in all of DFW so there should be a location near you. Chilangos Tacos is now in my weekly rotation. 1 Star.

Fuel City used to be a reliable local staple for a quick meal, but it has completely gone downhill…read more It has always been sketchy due to being right next to the jail, but it used to at least be tolerable for a cheap, late night bite. Now, there is absolutely zero reason to pull in here. Between the sketchy crowd, overpriced convenience store items, and garbage food safety, it is a complete rip off. I actually like their tacos, but the price increases have made them completely not worth it anymore. Eating 7 tacos pushes you over $20, which is sit down restaurant territory for some quick grab and go food. For the price of each taco, you will get two layers of tortilla with a sprinkle of meat and onion. Let's do the math: for the price of just two of these tacos, I can go to In N Out and get a Double Double. That gets me two 100% pure beef patties packing 37 grams of actual protein, and I will leave completely full. What am I supposed to do with two Fuel City tacos? Use them to fill the spaces between my teeth? Also, skip the snacks inside. They price gouge like crazy! Sometimes nearly 2x what you would pay at 7-Eleven or Tom Thumb (which are not even cheap to begin with). Last time I checked, a bag of Hot Cheetos here was 6 bucks! For perspective, they are $3.97 at Walmart and $4.79 at Target. It is a total rip off. The final straw was the horchata. I bought two cups at 6:00 PM, drank one, and put the second straight into the fridge. By midnight, it had completely curdled and turned sour. It was clearly spoiled and at the end of its shelf life when sold, and it gave me a case of the runs later that night. This place survives solely on ancient hype, out of town truck drivers, transients who do not know the area, and nighttime biker meet ups. No local should pay a massive premium for gas station tacos and food poisoning when authentic neighborhood taquerias and actual burger joints offer real value for a less money.
