Service- Wow so slow! Stopped in Saturday for lunch, it was not too busy and there was not a wait, we got a table right away. We had water and ordered 1 chicken sandwich to split.. (one of us had had a late breakfast... but wanted to give the place a try) It was a 40 min wait. Food was simply okay. I think this is probably a good place if you're wanting drinks for breakfast. And you're going just to visit with a friend or family. The sound inside the restaurant is terrible, the tall ceilings, make it very hard to hear a person sitting right next to you. The only other real concern I have is the restroom did not have any hand sanitizer or soap, which tells me the people fixing the food and waiting on us have no way of cleaning their hands after using the restroom. We saw this place when we were driving home from the airport and it did not disappoint! Visiting my brother in Plano, there's ample parking, and quick service! It's decorated very eggy which is cute! I was SOOO excited to come here since I LOVE eggs!! First off, the vibe of the place is SOOOO cute!! The ambience is so cozy and aesthetic. It's such an Instagrammable place to take pictures and just hang out. The staff was super friendly, too! We came during the week, so it was a lot less busy. One of the workers walked us through the whole menu, and even offered to take pictures for us. She was so sweet! The food itself was really good! My favorite thing was the truffle hashbrown. It tasted SOO good!! If anything, I would say it was a little oily so maybe dab it a little with a napkin if you don't like your food too oily. This place is amazing!! It's in a convenient location with plenty of parking. The exterior has cute egg shaped features. When you walk in it's warm and inviting with several egg shaped booths. The staff greeted us with friendly smiles and gave great menu suggestions. The food is the star of the show!! We had the American and Chicken and Waffles. The American came with the most delicious hash brown potato rounds!! They are thick and big with the perfect amount of seasoning! The chicken is seasoned with fresh herbs and very flavorful and tender. I prefer a thicker cut bacon but it was cooked perfectly crisp. They offer Ascension Coffee and our drinks were excellent. We came here with friends, we all saw great advertising for this place, let's just say it's a hype around it right now. I was not a fan. Food tasted average, coffee was actually the tastiest of everything, and I am sad about this statement of mine coz eggs benedict is my absolute favorite brunch item and of course that's what I got. A benny bowl to be accurate. Small, super small for a $15 dish and really not amazing. I finished my meal first, my friends were like wow. No comment. Anyway, let's start from the beginning. As soon as you walk in, you have pictures of the menu items on the wall, you get to the counter and prepare to be ready to order. For some reason these were never my fave, especially when it's the first time at a place. Also you tip and all, which is fine if you get service, but there's no servers, no one really to help you, even thou there are those guys in white jackets, I saw them but they did not see nor paid attention to the customers. We had some debates about one of the dish we ordered what is in it, then we needed hot sauce, some water, we had a baby too so there's always something you need for them. Nothing!!! I tried to get one of the guys attention but no luck. So I just got up and get things done and that's where the tipping part is not okay from my end. I tip extra if I receive service, these days I cannot even say great service coz there are not many places has that let's be honest. We were in and out, I did not even feel like sticking around and get some more stuff. We will NOT be back, I have no idea what people like about this place at all. But good for them, I will keep searching for the best brunch spot. Egg daddy is not one of those. read more

We were actually greeted AT THE DOOR, by one of the managers. He explained to us the entire menu and his recommendations. He even took our order for us. My wife had ordered toast but instead the brought her waffles, which she was perfectly fine with. He recognized the mistake and we said it was just fine. He said ok, and about 3 minutes later she got a DOUBLE order of toast. He also gave us some coupons for our next visit. Such a great experience. 2 Stars Food: The egg is the center of attention here. Most all of the dishes includes eggs of some sort. They have some traditional breakfast items as well as some unique ones. We ordered a few of the traditional items (egg, bacon, toast) as well as a couple of unique items (chicken and waffles and a double decker taco). All were very good and eggs were cooked perfectly. This is the cutest little breakfast themed restaurant heavily focusing on an egg aesthetic. I loved the giant egg covered tables, obviously I had to sit in one. How it works is you order at the counter (or maybe one of the computers? that I didn't notice until after I was done lol), pick your table, and your food is brought to you. If you order regular coffee, you receive a cup to fill as much as you'd like. I believe the fruit juices work the same way. The waitress informed us that the most popular items would be the bowls-- they covered your eggs/meat/potato/bread if I recall correctly-- and the truffle hash browns. I definitely wanted that truffle hash brown, so I didn't get a bowl because I didn't need two helpings of potatoes. I thought everything was very tasty, everything perfectly crispy and eggs done correctly (I remembered to record this for once!). My only issue was the plating! Everything came on a plastic plate, which made cutting into anything an arduous task because the plate kept trying to flip over to any amount of pressure. I almost lost my toast a few times while cutting into it. I'll have to come back to try out the bowls though, that's probably the strat. We spent about $50 for two people. read more

My husband and I visited Eggdaddy for breakfast, and we had great meal! The avocado toast was well seasoned and had great flavor. Benny bowl was also pretty good with chunks of ham, potatoes, spinach and poached egg. The truffle hash browns were good, but it is definitely pricy for two pieces of potatoes. The restaurant is located in random strip mall kind of place, but inside is pretty cute with couple egg shaped seating areas. Overall, I think it is a great addition to Addison food scene. Ok, the PB&J waffle sandwich is awesome. Warm and comforting with a great balance of flavors. We've been there multiple times and have never had a bad dish or experience. This place was so overrated. We just went and I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and a sunny side up egg, to start, the meat was unseasoned. That made the burger taste bland, no type of flavor and not enjoyable. I could not even finish half the burger because of the lack of flavor. The only thing I enjoyed was the waffle fries seasoned. My husband got the chicken and waffles, he was super disappointed as well. The chicken was falling apart and the waffles were extra soggy. This new restaurant in Addison is cute, fun, and tasty. The restaurant is all egg themed but in a more mature & intentional way. They have egg shaped booths, egg themed menu item names, and egg shaped decor. Upon arrival, they had a food runner that also greeted me and explained the menu & overall concept. The whole staff was very nice & accommodating; however, orders were made on a kiosk. I personally don't mind kiosk ordering for to go or to minimize wait time, but would like to have someone take my order for dine in as it was not overly busy when I was there. The sandwich was juicy & had quality meat; however, needed some more sauce in my opinion. The taco was on the bland side and difficult to eat as the yolk ran every where. Came here for their soft opening and I should have taken pictures. The inside is TOO cute witht he egg booths! There are only 2, so if you want to sit in one and post for YELP and The Gram, gotta get there fast. I wish I took pictures because there are only 2 egg booths. The rest of the place is super cute and yellow-- like a sunny side up egg. I loved it. You walk up and place your order and you get your utensils at the beverage counter. You sit down and then the staff bring you your food. I guess you bus your table yourself becuase I didn't see a dishes drop? There wasn't really anyone walking around, they all kind of stayed behind the counter until order was up. I'll give it a few months until the kinks are worked out. The Benny Bowl was SO good, it had nice chunks of pork in it, but I (personally) like my benedict a little more saucier and I could have used more hollandaise. My hazelnut latte was good,too. However, I was expecting more of a smoked salmon. The salmon was instead a dry patty. Maybe it was a victim of delivery, and a fresh sandwich is better. We came here to eggdaddy today. Excited to try a new place that recently opened. We are here visiting from California to attend a wedding. Loved the looks from outside mural and the entrance, as well as the inside with unique seating, lighting, drink area and decor. Once looking over the menu I decided to select 3 tacos (Tex Mex, Bangkok Brisket, Elote) with a coffee. Others in our party ordered a sammies (The Frenchie and Pit Boss). The response from the others was that they were delicious and everything they were hoping for. I tasted the toasted brioche bun from the Frenchie and it was flavorful and soft, not what I expected but still held up to all the ingredients. My tacos were delicious, filled with a well balanced flavor that allowed for each individual ingredient to shine and come together in a perfect combination for the perfect bite each time. Thoroughly enjoyed each taco. I will describe each individually. Tex Mex taco: Excellent flavor, texture, and balance amount of ingredients, got it with a corn tortilla which held up to the full size of everything while allowing the corn flavor to compliment the entire taco. Perfectly scrambled eggs, steak was tender and a good amount, more than expected, all the rest (black bean purée, pickled jalapeños, cheddar, tomato, pickled red onions) brought it all together, a little heat and brightened with the red onions. Bangkok Brisket taco with flour tortilla. Again, perfectly scrambled eggs, excellent brisket, Thai curry rice, that brings a flavor I love that works so well. Again all the rest (carrots, scallions, peppers, chili crisp, sambal aioli) are balanced and bring the combined flavor that makes this an amazing taco. The flour tortilla was great and actually held it all together. The last of the three the Elote taco. It's all about the corn. I chose a corn tortilla, so much corn flavor. I'm curious what it would taste like with the flour tortilla, maybe a better balance with all the ingredients, but honestly it was really good the way I ordered it. Perfectly scrambled eggs, charred corn, roasted poblanos, pepper jack cheese, tajin aioli, and chicharon crumble. Wonderful flavor and really enjoyed this tasty taco. Next time I'll try with the flour tortilla. To top it all off was a unique coffee I haven't had. I usually have a light roast and I'm actually pretty picky when choosing coffee, yes I'm a bit of a coffee snob. There was a medium roast, so I selected that one. I was pleasantly surprised by the subtle flavor. The staff and service were fast, helpful, patient and kind. All my senses were brought together and made this morning breakfast into a memorable time that I couldn't wait to share. I would highly recommend you try what looks good and be open to experiencing something new. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Cheers !!! read more

I was ticket 11 and they got to about ticket 20 before I had to grab someone and ask them to check on my meal. Once they came back, they let me know I'd have to wait 10 more min. So nearly a 30 min wait for a sandwich and undercooked, underwhelming hash.. A man who seemed to be the manager, made sure to check on a few tables but, disregarded mine.
