What has happened to Flora's? Our favorite restaurant in WHB. Ate there two weeks in a row and problems both times. Last week two orders of chicken sandwich for lunch. In the past it was great. This time inedible. Did not send it back because others were eating and we did not want to wait and hold everyone up. Seemed to me that the chicken was made ahead of time and reheated. Not fresh and breading not fried and crisp like usual. Rubbery crust and dry stringy meat like yesterday's left overs heated in an oven. Today was even worse. Waited 30 minuets for a table and we were seated inside. Noise was deafening. We could not even hear the specials. She had to come back and get close to repeat. One person ordered the special which was a cod dish. Waited a while for it, a little too slow but not terrible except we ran through a couple of drinks waiting. You could smell the cod coming a mile away. Meat was dry and stringy similar to last week's chicken mentioned above. We wondered if this was refused by another customer, left sitting until it got real stinky then reheated. The odor was strong and terrible. So the rest of us ate our lunch and one person waited and finally ate alone. I asked how long another dish would take and was given a non answer. " As soon as possible". She did not have a clue. His second fish dish was OK but by that time he was disgusted. Between waiting for a table and then waiting not once but twice for his food to be cooked was too much. It was mid afternoon by the time he was served. You would think they would have offered something for his trouble. Nada. Usually a nice restaurant would send over a desert, glass of wine. Something. But we got nothing. They didn't charge us for the foul odor stringy fish. Staff not up to the previous standard in this restaurant which previously was great. Our waitress was sweet and very nice but not experienced enough to handle the situation. An experienced one would not bring out a very strong smelling fish like that in the first place. I said to her can't you smell it and she said yes she could and took it away. Very sorry to say we are done with this restaurant which is a big disappointment and downturn in what used to be great food and great service. read more

Very good sister restaurant to Cowfish and Rumba. We had the tuna tartare, deviled eggs and wedge salad as appetizers, all excellent! As far as the entrees, all very good but not perfect. Lobster roll was tasty but had a soggy buttered roll. French dip was tasty, but nothing special. And the fried chicken sandwich came out on the cold side. It was obviously sitting waiting for the other entrees and therefore not that crispy, but it was tasty. We had the "flower pot" for dessert which is a very good combination of cookies and ice cream designed to look like a potted plant. Excellent presentation and a fun ending to our meal. Overall a nice meal and we'll be going again. read more

I heard such good things about Flora and was excited to have a new place in WHB. The drinks menu and execution was terrific and tHe apps were all great. The burger was Rumba quality, really good - the fries however were cold and needing salt. The prime rib was a fatty slab of warm cow and the 32$ bronzini was a 1/2 portion sized piece of flavorless fish drowned in a tasteless purée of some sort. At these prices, the entrees need to be consistent with the drinks and apps. The service was good and the outdoor setting was perfect. read more

My grandson may be only 12 but before dinner was over he rated Flora a 2. The service was great. No issue there. We sat outside bc of Covid. The bees were everywhere. That was annoying to say the least. My grandson ordered a burger. He was underwhelmed so was I. No tomato No lettuce - A small blah burger. Presentation zero. My granddaughter ordered salmon. It came with fries. Presentation = another zero. My other grandson ordered chicken pieces. I think he received 3 again with fries. Nothing appealing about any plate. Enter more bees. I ordered Soba noodles. I didn't know what to expect but it was good. I ordered the lavender cocktail special. It was good but I didn't care for the pieces of lavender in my mouth. I ordered another cocktail which never came so I cancelled it. At that point I was very disappointed. I thought I would just love Flora. I wish I had. read more

An absolute pleasure. The food was sophisticated and delicious all around, but the King Louie Salmon was really something special - cooked just perfectly and topped with an unexpected but amazing lobster and crab combo. Welcome to WHB! read more

flora - King Louie Salmon. Just amazing. - New American Near Me - Westhampton Beach, New York

I was extremely disappointed with the food and service. Every 5 minutes the waitress kept asking us if we loved the food. I thought that was odd. But then the host came over and asked what did we love tonight. I thought it was a Saturday Night Live skit. It is like they all drank cool-aide. The food was incredibly spicy. Tremendous amount of hot pepper. I left at 7 its 8:47 PM and the food is still repeating on me. Just awful. I would not recommend Flora. Only if you need to be with the in crowd. read more

Had the most outstanding lunch here today... The muscles were incredible. We already made plans to come back tomorrow.

It's a beautiful space and food is delicious!! We have been going since they opened. Love it!

If you are looking for different go here. Food was good but seemed like they were trying hard to do something with food that has never been done before. Small space so seating is tight. What you would expect from West Hampton in the summer. read more

Upon my arrival I immediately sensed that this spot isn't at all what it is hyped up to be. I gave my full name at the hostess stand to check in. I had made a reservation 2 weeks in advance but the hostess informed me that she could not locate my reservation. She proceeded to tell me that I must have made the reservation for the Connecticut location. After going back and forth I showed my phone with the confirmation text from the restaurant which in fact stated it was indeed the West Hampton location. She sheepishly led me to my table after being rather confrontational. We started off with a rosé which tasted like an old sock. The climate was unbearable and we were seated inside. I don't know if the air conditioner wasn't working or what the issue was. We continued our meal with the little neck clams as an appetizer which were even more disappointing than the rosé. It had a pungent smell and just did not taste right. The entree was average but nothing remarkable. Not worth waiting 2 week for a reservation. Take your business elsewhere! read more

Food is fantastic. Preparation is beautiful, if you get a chance to try the flower pot dessert, it's a must.
