Definitely visit this restaurant if you happen to be in the area. The food and service was wonderful. Try the crispy chicken sandwhich, secret garden tea (if you appreciate good tea) and carrot cake! There was a little hiccup when I first walked into the restaurant without a reservation after noting multiple open reservation slots and assuming the restaurant wouldn't be that busy. A gentleman stated the two open tables were being held for reservations and put our party of 2 on a waitlist to be called in 30-45 minutes. I stepped outside, made a reservation for 15 minutes later and told the host upon my return to the restaurant. The same 2 tables were still empty and now with a reservation he seated us which was really strange. Not sure what their policy is but it was very off putting. Everything here was absolutely delicious! I've been wanting to try flora for a while and am so glad I finally did. At first before going I was a bit skeptical of the menu since it looked a little eccentric and different but everything was off the charts. Highly recommend the little neck clams.....I usually don't even eat clams and these were incredible!!!! The burrata was top notch and don't skip on the cocktails they were equally as delicious. The first thing you notice when you enter the restaurant is the decor Place is bright, well appointed and very fresh. My wife and I had lunch there. I had the mushroom soup which was wonderful. My wife had the peach salad and it too was great. Our main courses were both good - tuna tartar and lobster fondu. We can recommend this restaurant for both lunch or dinner. read more

It honestly just keeps getting better, every time I go I am overwhelmed with how delicious and how accommodating and attentive the staff is. Went a week or so again for dinner with my husband we started with the red pepper bisque (amazing, I was so inspired I tried to make my own at home later that week and it paled in comparison lol). For entrees we did soba noodles and the short ribs - both amazing. Lastly we remembered to save room this time for the out of this world fun Flower Pot...do it, just do it. If there's ever a time for dessert, it's this Flower Pot. And last, but not least, drinks were very creative and delicious, I go with the fig mule and love it every time. Charming little restaurant in the heart of West Hampton Beach. What this restaurant lacks in size, it makes up for in flavor and creativity! I had the most tender beef short ribs there that was complimented by the smoothest parsnip puree one could ever wish for! My date had the fish that was ever so delicate and buttery. The pièce de résistance was the flower pot dessert. The ingredients were so simple but the creativity and construction were just so magical! I know that the flower pot will be haunting my dreams for the foreseeable future! I can't wait to go back and try the rest of their delectable menu. read more

Service is excellent - Two loud ladies-sitting at the bar- thought everyone at the restaurant should "hear their stories" and "believe that sacred crystals" are amazing. Perhaps take the loud conversation outside? Such a beautiful restaurant. Will be back and hope they were not regulars. Really the winner of the best hamburger. What has happened to Flora's? Our favorite restaurant in WHB. Ate there two weeks in a row and problems both times. Last week two orders of chicken sandwich for lunch. In the past it was great. This time inedible. Did not send it back because others were eating and we did not want to wait and hold everyone up. Seemed to me that the chicken was made ahead of time and reheated. Not fresh and breading not fried and crisp like usual. Rubbery crust and dry stringy meat like yesterday's left overs heated in an oven. Today was even worse. Waited 30 minuets for a table and we were seated inside. Noise was deafening. We could not even hear the specials. She had to come back and get close to repeat. One person ordered the special which was a cod dish. Waited a while for it, a little too slow but not terrible except we ran through a couple of drinks waiting. You could smell the cod coming a mile away. Meat was dry and stringy similar to last week's chicken mentioned above. We wondered if this was refused by another customer, left sitting until it got real stinky then reheated. The odor was strong and terrible. So the rest of us ate our lunch and one person waited and finally ate alone. I asked how long another dish would take and was given a non answer. " As soon as possible". She did not have a clue. His second fish dish was OK but by that time he was disgusted. Between waiting for a table and then waiting not once but twice for his food to be cooked was too much. It was mid afternoon by the time he was served. You would think they would have offered something for his trouble. Nada. Usually a nice restaurant would send over a desert, glass of wine. Something. But we got nothing. They didn't charge us for the foul odor stringy fish. Staff not up to the previous standard in this restaurant which previously was great. Our waitress was sweet and very nice but not experienced enough to handle the situation. An experienced one would not bring out a very strong smelling fish like that in the first place. I said to her can't you smell it and she said yes she could and took it away. Very sorry to say we are done with this restaurant which is a big disappointment and downturn in what used to be great food and great service. read more

Very good sister restaurant to Cowfish and Rumba. We had the tuna tartare, deviled eggs and wedge salad as appetizers, all excellent! As far as the entrees, all very good but not perfect. Lobster roll was tasty but had a soggy buttered roll. French dip was tasty, but nothing special. And the fried chicken sandwich came out on the cold side. It was obviously sitting waiting for the other entrees and therefore not that crispy, but it was tasty. We had the "flower pot" for dessert which is a very good combination of cookies and ice cream designed to look like a potted plant. Excellent presentation and a fun ending to our meal. I heard such good things about Flora and was excited to have a new place in WHB. The drinks menu and execution was terrific and tHe apps were all great. The burger was Rumba quality, really good - the fries however were cold and needing salt. The prime rib was a fatty slab of warm cow and the 32$ bronzini was a 1/2 portion sized piece of flavorless fish drowned in a tasteless purée of some sort. At these prices, the entrees need to be consistent with the drinks and apps. The service was good and the outdoor setting was perfect. read more

My grandson may be only 12 but before dinner was over he rated Flora a 2. The service was great. No issue there. We sat outside bc of Covid. The bees were everywhere. That was annoying to say the least. My grandson ordered a burger. He was underwhelmed so was I. No tomato No lettuce - A small blah burger. Presentation zero. My granddaughter ordered salmon. It came with fries. Presentation = another zero. My other grandson ordered chicken pieces. I think he received 3 again with fries. Nothing appealing about any plate. Enter more bees. I ordered Soba noodles. I didn't know what to expect but it was good. I ordered the lavender cocktail special. It was good but I didn't care for the pieces of lavender in my mouth.
