Our home was recently remodeled due to plumbing issues. My boyfriend and I took the initiative in checking out different flooring options for our home. We decided to check out Floor and Decor for their low prices. We approached Melanie and asked for help obtaining an estimate for total cost of flooring and material. She was very helpful and assisted us with obtaining an estimate. She also answered our multiple questions regarding the installation process and even recommended certain grout color to make our tile colors stand out. Tile is fine - no great deals: just normal retail pricing. ProStaff are buffoons. Prepaid for tile at one store with my own credit card. Paperwork lists me as "authorized to pickup" from Fullerton Store. Fullerton store associates checks my ID: cool - it matches the paperwork. Associate then calls the account holder. Boss says "yes - he paid for it, give him his tile." Associate checks my ID again (because I could have morphed into a different person in the last 3 minutes). I ask what the problem is. He says "well, you could have stolen the credit card. "THE OTHER STORE CHECKED MY ID WITH MY CREDIT CARD WHEN I PAID FOR IT!" 'Well - you could have stolen the ID.' Dude - I have the original receipt. The original receipt has my name on it. You checked my photo ID. ...so your theory is that I stole a credit card...stole an ID that matches it...showed them both to the Norco store...fooled them into putting my new stolen name on the receipt...drove here...showed you the stolen ID...MATCHED THE PICTURE...but you had to call the phone number for my boss to make sure everything was copacetic...? "Yeah...I could get fired!" "Rightfully so." "Huh?" "Exactly." 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back. I'm typing this 2 feet away from him. read more

So second remodel and were in need of new flooring. MARCOS was the first person we encountered and was very helpful. My husband and I were were so undecided and Marcos was so patient with us and bringing floor samples and helping us see our vision. Very disappointed in the customer service I received from the manager working today, Lori. I have spent several thousand in tile on my kitchen remodel & new bathroom. Had tile delivered to my house & paid the very high price of delivery to my home of $165 for the guy to just drop the tile in the easiest spot possible, even though. I asked him to place inside my house. Then I had a box of tile broken,by the delivery company, returned it & at the time could not purchase tile to replace it. When I came back to get more tile was not able to get the exact dye lot. Very frustrated at the fact that Floor & Decor's delivery's company is the one that put me in a tough spot, not being able to match my tile, when I came back to purchase more, it wasn't my fault , due to the fact that the delivery company they use broke it. What really upset me today is when I went to get replacement tile & after asking to speak to manager she came over, when the associate was opening box, she didn't even introduce herself to me as manager, I had to ask her if she was the manager, asked if she could give me a discount because of this situation I was in, she said no, we don't give discounts, accidents happen. She needs to learn how to approach customers who have concerns & give better customer service. Will never go to this floor & decor again to purchase anything & will tell many friends about the poor customer service from the management. I will gladly buy from Lowe's & Home Depot where I have purchased in the past. read more

I went to three other tile stores in Anaheim and not one store came near to the help given by Melanie. Melanie spent three hours helping us design our bathroom shower and floor. We needed tiles for a bathroom reno and decided to stop by. I was a bit hesitant at first bc I had no idea what I was looking for. Then I met Cindy who was so friendly and fast to help with selecting large tiles. Cindy then helped me grab several hundred pounds of tiles onto a cart with the assistance of other coworkers. I was so appreciative of their help. As I was browsing, I saw a vanity that I really liked. A younger lady at the design center helped me get into contact with Melanie. My shopping experience became an amazing productive one after I met Melanie because she was so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and patient. Melanie spent the next few hours helping me various items such as vanities, vanity tops, shower tiles, grout etc. I would not have known to get grout if Melanie hadn't suggested it. I felt comfortable shopping around and bouncing ideas off Melanie bc she was so patient. Thanks to Melanie I was able to purchase everything that I needed for the entire bathroom. I went into FD looking for one item and ended up leaving with 10+ items. I have installed all the items that I bought and I couldn't be happier with the results! I ordered grout ( under $100 ) online and went to pick up and I showed them my email order confirmation and credit card I used and they asked me show my ID. Then they decided to input my ID info In the Computer and then they told me my order is being audited. Then a manager had to stop bye and I felt like they were acting like I was a criminal. Anyways not happy with whole experience .It took them a long time to give me my pick up order. I will never go back and buy anything. I do not like how they treated me and the amount of time it took to pick up an order I placed online . FYI I also looked at there prices for stone and they are actually very high in price. read more

1st time at this store and very pleased with customer service, prices and attention to detail. I am remodeling my home and have found it difficult to do some of the material buying on my own since I'm a woman and feel like sometimes some employees like to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I brought my remodeling contractor with me and with the help of Jose--pro sales manager, I was able to find everything I needed quickly. My contractor, Romeo Ruiz General Construction said he felt comfortable that these employees would not try to up-sell customers if not needed. Will most definitely be back in for my further flooring and decor needs. While we were waiting for our order to be packaged up, Adam the associate noticed one pack of tile was slightly cracked. He took the time to double check and actually go out to the floor to get new packs that were not cracked. This attention to detail saved us a 40 mile trip! read more

Beware of these guys apparently they don't return opened tile boxes or single tiles. We made a large purchase from them. At the end of our project we had extra items so decided to return. Even though price marked reflect price per tile if you buy a box you can't return single tiles. Our items were not damaged in same condition as purchased yet not returnable. Hm read more

My wife and I went into Floor and Decor on Wednesday of last week in La Habra. Our contractor said we needed an edging for the bathroom tile. He said trying to find a matching half round would be very difficult. We looked at many tile stores with no luck. When we walked in to the La Habra store we headed toward the tile area. We were ask by a young lady from the design center if we needed help . The associates name was Abigail and she walked us to the corner round area. There was no close matching colors but Abigail gave us another option. She suggested a textured anodized aluminum edging. Abigail took out a sample and went out to are car to match it up with our tile. The tiles were to large to carry into store. The sample was nearly a color match. We purchased what we needed and our anxieties of not knowing what to do was gone. When our contractor saw the edging he said it was perfect and was surprised we were able to find a match so close to our tile color. My mother in law has been doing a kitchen remodel and it hasn't been easy. She had been to at least a dozen tile and flooring stores when someone finally recommended Floor and Decor. Man, we wished we would have known about this place from the beginning. The way they set up their displays is awesome - you can really get an idea of how it will look once installed. They have huge selection at very affordable price. Most importantly, their customer service is top notch. I unfortunately can't remember the name of the gentleman that helped us the first time but Mohammed helped us yesterday. Both employees were very knowledgeable and helpful and walked around with us answering our many questions. Mohammed had just started at Floor and Decor and was sure to inquire with his supervisor on the questions he didn't have an answer to. Rather than just making up an answer or saying he didn't know (which is the customer service we'd received other places), he made sure that he was giving us the right answers which was greatly appreciated! Today was my third time into Floor and Decor and by far my favorite. I've been shopping for my master bath for about two weeks now at the Brea location. Today, I decided to finalize my decisions. In my decision process I was helped by such wonderful humans. Dezarae, (love the spelling) went above and beyond to help me pick just the write tile. She also calculated exactly how much I would need to purchase. She also asked me what is best: take it home today or pick it up. She listened to my journey and really helped me feel even more confident with all my decisions I had made with a Pinterest's help of course. Then she turned me over to Giovanni, what a great young man. He helped me pick out niches and schlutter??? Hope I'm spelling right. He left it up front for me. I went back to finalize my decisions and I met Brandon, who educated me on natural marble vs. tile. I didn't even ask for help, I just asked him a question and he went out of his way to help me. Needless to say I changed my shower to marble with his education tips on sealing it prior to laying it. As I checked out, Dezarae was once again so cheerful and helpful. She had someone load my car, it was the manager!!!! Wow! Such an incredible customer service experience. Thank you to these wonderful humans who made remodeling my master bath so easy! As expected, this place has a huge selection of tile and flooring from mosaic to floor to subway. The prices are consistent with the website and, if in stock, you can purchase online and pick up in-store for no additional charge. There is an additional charge for ship to store (if you order online). If you need inexpensive tile and you're not super picky, they have quite a few inexpensive options as well as clearance options, and the clearance options (as you can also see online) are not hideous or ostentatious. A lot of the floor tile options were gorgeous and relatively inexpensive (compared to Home Depot/Lowe's). They also will store your tiles for you so you can make multiple trips. The store associates were friendly and knowledgeable. They confirmed with us at the register about how we should grout and take care of the tiles we purchased. I liked that the tiles are put together in a fairly good sized sample "wall" so you can tell what it'll look like on your floor/wall with grout. read more

I am remodeling my home and I have been to this store a few times. Today I went to look at different flooring options. I was greeted by Marco. He took his time to explain the difference between different materials and how it affects the home and feel of it. What I liked about Marco was that he asked the right questions to find out my needs and wants before suggesting anything. He had good listening skills and was very helpful. He stayed with us to answer any questions we had through out the visit which made me feel appreciated as a customer. He offered the different services provided to help install if needed. This made t easy for a one stop shop. I am in sales myself and I appreciate good customer service and sales reps. Great job fullerton store for hiring and training such great employees to help customers feel at ease in such stressful (in my case) projects. Service like this makes it a bit easier to deal with. Awesome selection and comparable pricing for other flooring at different stores. The employees are all pretty knowledgeable and by and far the best service I have gotten here has been from the guys on the sales floor. I am taking a star off because I had made an appointment with a design consultant and waited for 45 minutes for her. I asked several times where she was and was told that she was helping another customer. I then see that she is finishing up with them and walk over to where they are and am hanging out in the area. She finished with them and walked away. When she didn't come back I asked one of the girls at a register when she would be coming back to start our appointment. The girl gives me attitude and tells me that I don't have an appointment. I told her that I had made the appointment the day before and gave her the name of the guy I spoke with. She finally finds the appointment that was almost an hour past the time and calls the girl to come up. I think the girl was off work by that time. She didn't give me any help at all. Barely gave me any suggestions and I finally told her thanks, but I will take it from here. Are you kidding me? You can't give me a few minutes of your time after making me wait for an hour? The next time I came in the store the same girl was standing in one of the aisles with another sales girl over in the tile area. They were talking about a break up one of them was going through. Never said hi, never asked if I needed anything and completely ignored me and other customers. The only reason I'm giving four stars is the several young men that were super helpful to me. I wish I had the guys name that went above and beyond, but I lost all of my information when I got a new phone. The girls need an attitude adjustment...every single one of them. read more

Today is opening day...the Grand Opening!!!! Can someone explain to me how a patron can walk in, spend 20 minutes in the store, and exit without being greeted???? I am in the process of renovating 1 of my 3 homes. My appearance is young, (barely over 30) and I wore jeans. Perhaps they thought I was not worth the interaction. I noticed employees that were not tending to clients and many others who were however the common courtesy of 'hello, welcome to our new store' was not extended. I thought that I would take my business to a non-big box store for better prices but based on my interaction I will NEVER RETURN. Floor and Decor- please read this and do better.
