I work in construction. I needed floor tiles for 500 square feet, which is 28 boxes yesterday (9/13/2019), however they only had 15 boxes. When I talked to the sales rep, Salvador, he said we can order the remainder 13 boxes to arrive by today (9/14/2019), he said they were in the truck and already on the way. So I paid for all 28 boxes of floor tiles and my construction crew and I installed the 15 boxes of floor tiles last night and planned to install the remainder once we picked then up today. However, when I went to pick up the 15 boxes today, they said we did not get a shipment and were not sure when they remainder 15 boxes would actually arrive. They said whenever it comes, they will let me know. In addition, they said they never said it would arrive by today--they lied straight to my face in order to get me to buy all the materials yesterday. I was shocked when they said this because I would not get compensated (for both the material and labor) for this job since it was not finished on time. When I told the manager, Jennifer, this she told me to bring back the material I already installed. Ridiculous is the only word I could use to describe this situation. If floor and decor does not try to ameliorate this situation brought upon by their terrible customer service, I will report this business to BBB and will seek compensation via the law. read more

I was in dire need of floor tile because I'm remodeling my bathroom floor. As I go into floor n decor and ask the clerk where a certain tile was (because I had a picture of what I wanted). The clerk instructed me to go to the back wall. Before I could get to the back wall I see another clerk coming toward me with a cart. She then stated "can I help you" I proceeded to ask her where the tile was. She eventually help me find what I was looking for but their were other people of a different ethnic group looking around but I never saw anyone approach them. Basically, what I'm saying is this is a tile store why the Hell would I want to steal some dam tile. This was not the first time that this happened and I truly should've not purchased from them but after ordering from off-line Wayfair and getting something that didn't look like the picture posted is why I went into floor n decor. It is so sad me being a 60 year old lady I can't even shop without being watched. Owners/managers y'all need to do a better job at training your employees. I ended up spending $1200 dollars that day but now I'm considering returning it because I prefer spending my money where I'm respected and not looked at as a criminal. Smh ‍ read more

This place sucks, just HORRIBLE. Walked in and the store #1 not organized, #2 employees don't care one bit. Also to add in, the employees look like they hate their job. The only employee/manager that offered to help me was Jennifer. Very sweet, kind and very understanding. She helped me pick and choose my material and help with color coordinations. If you plan on calling this store to talk to a "LIVE" person, you can forget about that. I've been calling and calling to talk to someone on the flooring department and no one seems to bother to answer the phone. I also tried to call all 4 options (1 for flooring dept, 2 for pro-services, 3 for free design, 4 for receiving) & to stay on hold fo other services but guess what....NO ONE ANSWERING ALL OF THEM. I bought some wood tiles and just wanted to check if they have more in stock but couldn't get no hold of nobody. read more

Then the order has just never been processed, while it's paid in full. Waiting 6 weeks for a 2 week project from Floors and Decor. Pretty decent selection. Much of the tile I have purchased here has been medium quality. The sales associate in the wood flooring section was helpful and knowledgeable. The problem is this. When you purchase the flooring material you will be encouraged to purchase much more flooring than you need so you don't run the risk of not having enough to complete your project. I was told to purchase an additional 25% and just bring back the unused material for a refund. When I did that, the clerk at the front counter processed the return and then said, sorry. The return has been declined. She could not explain why and gave me a ticket with the case number and said to call the phone number for an explanation. I called and it turns out that it's a third party company. They said, sorry but your refund was declined. I was still within the return period. So they don't take responsibility for being the bad guy and declining the refund and the third party company takes the blame. Nice try Floor & Decor. They work for you and do what you tell them to do. Shame on you. I'm stuck with $600 of flooring that I can't use. Haven't shopped there since and doubt I will again. Do yourself a favor and only purchase what you need and go back if you need more. read more

Recently my boyfriend and I purchased tile to cover 3 1/2 yards of concrete in the backyard for a patio. We went back to return some leftover tiles we didn't use and the cashier couldn't figure out how to refund us because the tile we were returning apparently wasn't ever charged (wasn't present on our receipt)- moments later we found out that instead we were charged twice for a larger cut of tile. The manager on duty saw this and was able to refund all of the wrongfully charged tiles; put in a new purchase for the proper ones and the exact number we used and got us our refund back..EASY PEEZY. Writing the review to give the management credit for being "LEGIT" and for not coming to the customer (Us) with a problem only, but instead coming to us with a solution to ensure we left satisfied. First time shopping here and it is definitely a fun store to shop when remodeling. Better organized than other tile and flooring stores. And more information is available with signage clearly providing important product information. Having accurate product information readily available is a big positive compared to most decor stores. Help isn't readily available but employees were working throughout the store, and if you ask, they are very helpful. The three people who helped us were patient and knowledgeable. The night manager, Ivan, and Salvador, along with the other employees were all patient (we are very fickle shoppers). As closing time, they continued being helpful and answering our questions. These days, it's unusual to be greeted and treated nicely by all employees encountered. But here, we were. They made our experience very pleasant. We are looking forward to returning another day to finish our selections. We only had time to look at tile this trip. Prices and service were both great. read more

The ability to contact him directly via his company cell phone, have him look up my previous order and place another order based on that took no more than 10 minutes and 24 hours later, said order was ready for pick up. The staff here is great, especially Jacob Brezofski, material manager. Jacob went above and beyond when the online store let me order 44 boxes of floor that they didn't have in stock. Usually the online store works pretty good, but not today. Trying to get the main office on the phone to get a refund during these covid times was next to impossible. Jacob was on the phone for an hour to find the product and get the funds switched over to the new store. Customer satisfaction 100% I've shopped here for 3 different remodels. The choices are great. Customer service needs improvement. We scheduled an appointment with a designer to help us select floor tile. We showed up at the designated time and we were told, Oh, the designer did not show up. What? Could they have sent us an email or text that the appointment would not be happening so we won't have wasted our time getting to the store? That is just wrong. read more

Not to mention that not all flooring products have corresponding pieces. Ran into trouble with tile that has no trim available. Avoid all of these stores. As my girlfriend and I navigated the Downey location less than 14 hours prior to the Carson visit, we were lost and overwhelmed. Luckily the Carson location had an appointment available for the next morning at 7:30. As we entered the Carson location we were greeted instantly. We told the woman we had an appointment with a design expert, she then promptly introduced us to Rick Glass. Rick was incredible. He turned our nightmarish headache into something that should be featured in a catalogue. It took him less than an hour to understand our view points and suggest items that fit us perfectly. He was incredibly easy to work with, honest and straight to the point. We will continue to highly recommend Rick to all of our family and friends. 10/10 for Rick and the selection of item at this location. read more

Helpful staff, and very nice to see such large samples, but the problem I see here is they carry their own line of flooring so I couldn't come here for known brand flooring or if I had tile or flooring to match broken pieces from an older home I don't think I would find the same product here. So if this is for a new project it's fine... I think this place is huge but because the displays are so big they don't actually have as many choices of tiles and flooring as if you went into a tile store or flooring store. I prefer to and recommend going to more places than this place before purchasing. I went to Torrance Kitchen and Bath and although the store is tiny they have a ton of small samples and if you don't have a vision it might be hard for you to imagine the whole bathroom in that tile, but I'm fortunately able to look at a very small sample and know what will match or fit for my project. It's a good place to get an idea, but go look at a few places. This place has a table where you can bring tiles and place them with other tiles and match colors and make designs which is nice, but again the actual selection to me was not very good... I've seen much prettier intricate tiles at tile stores, and they didn't carry the huge piece tiles that are popular now... they look like kitchen counter tops but they are very dramatic bathroom tiles. Less grout, less cleaning! They also didn't have many high end tiles that aren't marble, like some of the more arty tiles... this place feels cheap to me, kind of like the IKEA of tiles and flooring. I'm definitely not coming back here to buy anything but I liked the table and how visual the huge samples were, that's probably helpful for most. read more

Every one there was excellent. They all paid attention to customer entering the building. They allowed us to try and figure it out on our own and reach out to us if we looked like we needed help. Direction and instructions to get things done in the store were simple and easy to follow. Great friendly service from every one. Waiting for answers was quick. I had to wait a little longer then normal for pickup, but I was warned ahead of time and informed each time wait got closer to finishing Anum Bhathi on her own had determine my situation and delivered an alternative choice for me. Which saved me time and deliver fee. Anum made sure I remained next in line while shuffling with giving other customer her fantastic service. While arranging my refund of delivery cost and setting me up for pickup. Anum was very well organized, multi-tasked and consistent friendly service with everyone in her perimeter. I'm really hoping management has notice her skills and is giving her the tools to grow in their company. I must encourage upper management to take notice of the EXCELLENT service at this Carson, Ca. site. I even notice the fork-lift driver (named Kristopher) skills to move a pallet on to a pickup truck bed. It was a beautiful Saturday in Los Angeles but I was sort of dreading the fact that I had to go to Floor and Decor to get a few pieces of tile for my bathroom. I approached a young man, Lorenzo, who turned my despair into glee. He quickly helped me get my tile, loaded them onto the cart and put them all into the system so that I virtually had to do nothing. He did all this with a smile and a very calm demeanor that older folks like myself have really come to appreciate. He had a kindness and sincerity about him and that was very much appreciated. We went to look for our floor material. We were shopping around for a couple of stores but this place had the best quality and most knowledgeable staff to help us through. We purchased bamboo floor and asked for a lot of questions about how to install and the handlings. Mary was helping us all the way from the purchase to the instruction and very very helpful.
