Here are pics from the remodeling of the small kitchen in my 75-year-old, 750 sq ft. home. Kitchen looks way bigger now and is MUCH more functional. Previously there was a lot of dead space. I wish I had before pix! I didn't think to take any. I do, however, have one pic of the old laundry area off the kitchen and so am including that.

Considering the quality of the materials and workmanship, we felt the price was very reasonable. The finished kitchen looks absolutely beautiful, and my wife and I are thrilled with how everything turned out. This is a family-owned business, and May was our main point of contact throughout the project. At first, her communication style may come across as direct or a bit blunt, especially since English isn't either of our first languages. However, once you get to know her, you'll quickly realize she's incredibly kind, knowledgeable, generous, and genuinely wants what's best for her customers. She has a very caring heart. Her husband also came by to help lead parts of the project, and having both of them in our home was genuinely reassuring. They made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the renovation. The crew was extremely considerate of our home. They carefully covered all of our furniture, protected the floors with coverings and towels, and kept everything as clean as possible during construction. On top of that, they were impressively efficient and highly skilled. They completed our entire kitchen renovation in less than a week. Communication was another highlight. They were always quick to respond, whether by email or text message, and kept us informed throughout the process. Overall, we're extremely happy with the entire experience. The renovation was smooth from start to finish. We definitely plan to contact them again when we're ready to renovate our bathroom. To be honest, this place is a spot that I want to gatekeep from others! Thank you, May and your team, for making what could have been a stressful project such an enjoyable and seamless experience!

We got quotes from three other places, and they gave us the lowest price. Usually, other companies charge a fee for every single hole they drill in the sink and charge for each cabinet handle individually, but they did all of it with no extra labor costs. Here are some of the reasons they are amazing: 1) Ted S., the owner and head designer, had the ability to combine artistic, logistic, and technical requirements for the project. He was upfront and realist while being able to take us out of our comfort zones to show us what might be possible. 2) Kris, the project manager, was the person who made everything run smoothly. It didn't matter when I called, if she didn't know the answer, she'd find out! 3) Peter, the site manager, runs a tight ship. His crew was always professional, polite, and most important, CLEAN. Each day began and ended with the day's work completed and the worksite left tidy. 4) All the crew and subcontractors were amazing! It was obvious that Verity makes an effort to choose only the best. These guys were hardworking and always showed up with a smile. I'll always appreciate how much effort they put into doing a great job. In the end, any project as large as ours runs into hiccups but no matter what, Verity always took care of us. We can't wait until the next project when we can hire them again. I joke, but seriously, Ted S. can't retire until we get a chance to remodel our master bathroom!

My parents went around all day looking and trying to find the best deal for a long lasting fridge. When we go to the store, it was nice and had very impressive selection of fridge. I tagged along as a translator for my parents and when I approached the information booth, one of the salesmen referred us to another man that was sitting in the front. While he greeted us with warmth, he came off very condescending. He was very snappy and aggressively with his response. While having an airpod in his ear, he was rushing us through all the selection. It almost felt like he didn't want to work with us (since he was told by another man to help us) and judging that my parents didn't know anything. As we were walking away, we weren't surprised to see him playing on his phone.

He helped design our new kitchen - which we absolutely love - and made sure we were always on the same page by meeting with us in person multiple times. His communication was excellent, his pricing was fair, and he completed everything right on schedule. The scope of our project was huge: Ben fully renovated our kitchen and living room, installed skylights, replaced the roof, added new stucco to the exterior, built and installed two beautiful bathrooms with custom vanities, replaced several windows and a patio door, and installed a new garage door. The work also involved major structural updates, including a new foundation and footings to support the roof as we opened up walls and expanded the space. Despite the complexity, Ben handled everything with great care and attention to detail. We are beyond happy with the finished result and would absolutely work with Ben and A2Z Home Remodel again.
