Verity was the fourth contractor we worked with to reconstruct our kitchen after a major flood. While it was painful to go through so many, I'm happy that we finally found the perfect team. Here are some of the reasons they are amazing: 1) Ted S., the owner and head designer, had the ability to combine artistic, logistic, and technical requirements for the project. He was upfront and realist while being able to take us out of our comfort zones to show us what might be possible. 2) Kris, the project manager, was the person who made everything run smoothly. It didn't matter when I called, if she didn't know the answer, she'd find out! 3) Peter, the site manager, runs a tight ship. His crew was always professional, polite, and most important, CLEAN. Each day began and ended with the day's work completed and the worksite left tidy. 4) All the crew and subcontractors were amazing! It was obvious that Verity makes an effort to choose only the best. These guys were hardworking and always showed up with a smile. I'll always appreciate how much effort they put into doing a great job. In the end, any project as large as ours runs into hiccups but no matter what, Verity always took care of us. We can't wait until the next project when we can hire them again. I joke, but seriously, Ted S. can't retire until we get a chance to remodel our master bathroom! read more

After getting 3 quotes I went with Verity because they were highly attentive and professional. I came at this with little experience and they were patient throughout. Very helpful with design and choices that fit our needs and budget. They are prompt with any concerns. read more

I came across Verity KB after reading so many positive reviews from their customers. And those reviews were spot on! After meeting with the team, I immediately knew Verity was the best fit to lead my kitchen renovation. They were so welcoming and professional, and most importantly, they listen to their clients and provide smart design solutions within your budget. It was nice to lean on Verity as they manage the project, timelines, and their sub-contractors (who were excellent as well). If you're looking to renovate, I highly recommend the Verity team! read more

Verity did a complete Kitchen remodel for us and did an excellent job. This is an older house so there was considerable plumbing and electrical work, but the job still was finished right on schedule. We had a lot of help from Verity with all the design decisions. Also all the subcontractors were excellent. We love the finished kitchen and it is a dream to cook in! read more

I had such a great experience with Verity Build and highly recommend them! Ted is awesome at design and communicates well. They did a major remodel of my kitchen/dinning room and the primary bath. The final result was absolutely gorgeous! I love it! There were a few issues to sort out afterwards, and Ted and his team were quick to respond. I will upload photos later is the site allows me to edit the review. read more

We just finished our second project with Verity, and this one was mischievous bigger than the first. We hired Ted and Tony to finish our new Master Bathroom, and remodel of the kitchen and new laundry room. Full service bathroom remodel, start to finish. My wife appreciated the individualized support in selecting appliances/fixtures, tile, and paint colors. I appreciated their commitment to detail - including in their work estimate. Ted and Tony were professional and courteous - both went out of their way to make sure my family felt comfortable during the whole remodel - the crew even tolerated my kids' "help." Everything went according to plan, which was impressive, even in the midst of COVID-19 (all crew followed safety protocols and accommodated all of our requests). With minor questions before, during, and after remodel both Ted and Tony offered to personally stop by to answer and explain. Would use again. read more

Ted and Tony at Verity are the best team in South bay for your new kitchen & bath. Not only did they help create our dream kitchen/bathroom but Ted also gave us input & helped us with redesigning the layout of our master suite. From the initial meeting to the end of completing the project, both Ted and Tony, as well as their team, were a joy to work with. My husband and I very much enjoyed working with Ted during the design conceptualisation stage. We gave our input as to what we needed as well as wanted plus the budget we had. Ted then was able to work in everything we wanted to fit our budget. Ted would give us a few different layouts or options and then each time we met we would work together in defining the final product much more. It was really an organic process which could be stressful at times but Ted managed to help us through it all. He really did his best in taking the time to understand what we have in mind and provided us drawings for it. Tony was the man in charge of the implementation and on site supervision. He ensured everything was built properly and his team has amazing skillful hands. I wanted some specific tiles to be laid out as part of the design and his colleague was able to work with me and laid it out exactly the way I had in my mind. We cannot be happier with the outcome and can't wait until we have budget to build the outdoor kitchen or remodel other parts of our home. read more

My husband and I recently had our bathroom remodeled by Ted and Tony at Verity Baths and the experience was absolutely wonderful. We'd gotten a rough design plan from an Architect friend of ours, so that stage was partially done before we came to Verity for a bid. However, Ted was super helpful in working with us to finalize the design plan, both technically and aesthetically. He has a huge wealth of knowledge about how to bring a design to life, both from the technical standpoint of what will and won't work construction-wise, and what materials will work best for the space, and also how to work with colors and fixtures to make the space beautiful. We met with Ted a couple of times to hash out the budget, which was very reasonable, and he never tried to push expensive items. He really just wants you to have what you want, and be happy. He also met us on a couple Saturday mornings at Ferguson Bath and Cal Tile to help us choose our materials and fixtures, which was enormously helpful and accommodating. He has a lot of great suggestions for places to shop for what you need, and a lot of contacts in the area. Once construction started, we met Tony, who oversaw the construction at the house. Tony is super friendly, and the group of workers were really good about making as small a footprint in the house as possible. Tony always made sure that we knew exactly what was going on every day, and made sure we had a chance to work out every detail with him as things progressed. He always had suggestions to help us get exactly what we wanted. Near the end of the project, I felt that the medicine cabinet and vanity light were too high (not Verity's fault - they placed them where we told them to) and Tony came back with a worker to move them down, which I was very impressed with. The team stayed on schedule, and the bathroom looks absolutely amazing. We also worked with Jennifer, in the Verity office, who is a color expert and was a huge help in choosing our cabinet and paint colors. She was always spot on with exactly what I wanted. The budget for this project was extremely reasonable, and won out over 3 other bids we had done for the space. I couldn't recommend a place more highly than Verity Baths, they've earned every star. read more

We used Verity Build to remodel our master bathroom after they were recommended by a friend. Ted designed the room in 3D and showed us what it would like his suggestions on materials and finishes were perfect. Tony and his installation team completely protected our floors, did beautiful work. They tore everything out and redid it based on Ted's design. Verity were professional and showed up when they said they would!! I highly recommend Verity they are by far the best contractors I have used. The results exceeded our expectations. read more

We remodeled our guest bathroom with Verity Baths and I couldn't have been happier with the results. From my preliminary meetings with Ted, to design choices with Jennifer, to working with Tony and all the highly skilled contractors who came through my home, I was consistently impressed by their professionalism, obvious pride in their work, and commitment to customer satisfaction. If any concerns or questions came up, they were quickly addressed and resolved, even after completion of the project. It's rare to find contractors who you actually enjoy having in your home every morning at 8 am, but such was the case with Verity! Our new bathroom is absolutely beautiful and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. read more

My wife and I have been talking about a kitchen remodel for years; we finally did it and couldn't be happier. We wanted someone to help us design our dream kitchen, and someone we could trust to do an excellent job; Ted and Tony from Verity did just that. We can't say enough good things about our experience; the cabinets are beautiful and the countertops are amazing. Jennifer helped us coordinate our colors so that they all complemented each other. Our guest bath was in dire need of a facelift. Verity came highly recommended. We requested an estimate, which they provided after meeting with us to fully discuss the project. Their estimate was the most competitive, so we hired them. They arrived on time every day and their work was excellent. They also kept the work areas protected and cleaned up nicely each day. We are completely happy with the outcome! We would not hesitate to hire them again if we were to remodel another bath or the kitchen. read more

We have to give another shout out to Verity Build. Our Kohler mirrored lighted bathroom mirrors were showing wear after two years. Ted suggested we work with Jennifer and Ferguson's where it was purchased. After sending a letter and photos to Kohler we were able to have both cabinets replaced. Ted came over and installed them at no charge. What great customer service, right? It is always a good sign when a contractor can keep good customer relations years after the initial installation. read more

Ted, Tony and crew are simply great. I hired Verity Bath for a partial, but substantial renovation work on my master bath. Warning to new customers: These folks REALLY DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS. And they make it very clear. First time I called the very nice receptionist said they were booked for the next five months but I could speak with someone if I desired. I said I would like to move forward and she said one of the owners would call back that day. Never heard from him. Called back a few days later and asked if one of the owners would call me back and was told he was out of office but would call back asap. That never happened either. They should really just be up front and say they are not accepting new customers until they can catch up on their work load. First time I've dealt with a company like this and first Google review. read more

Verity KB remodeled our Master Bathroom. It is beautifully done and we couldn't be happier with the results. Through the whole process beginning to end Ted, Tony and Jennifer were very communicative and responsive. We have had 2 other major remodels and our experience with Verity was the best. We would definitely use them again and we would highly recommend them to our family and friends. read more

Ted & Tony, the owners, personally oversee every project. They were wonderful to work with: professional, extremely competent, and very detail-oriented, ensuring that everything would be perfect. Ted handles the design and he gave me very useful ideas I never would have thought of. Tony is responsible for implementation and execution with their crew, who are all full-time employees versus contracted subs, which makes a big difference. Verity has full control of their schedules allowing them to stay on track with the schedule. My new kitchen is GORGEOUS. I'm not surprised at all because when they remodeled my master bathroom a few years ago, I was every bit as pleased with the results. Verity went above and beyond in taking care of my needs, including resolving issues that weren't of their doing (My power blew out completely right after the kitchen remodel was completed. Turned out to be a broken connection that was SCE's fault but Tony had his electrician out immediately upon receiving my call - even though it was a Saturday morning - to check every switch and breaker for me to make that determination). Everybody at Verity was prompt, responsive, courteous and efficient throughout both my kitchen and master bath remodels. They are a great group to work with if you're interested in a beautiful outcome with excellent customer service. read more

Look no further than Verity Build if you want a beautiful kitchen remodel. Verity just completed our kitchen remodel and we couldn't be more pleased working with this company. The owners Ted & Tony are exceptional to work with. Ted designed our kitchen and came up with many wonderful ways to effectively use our space. He is patient and listens carefully to what you want, making excellent suggestions along the way. He accompanied us while we shopped to choose the appliances needed as well as the tile, backsplash & countertops. His 3D renderings showed us exactly what the new kitchen would look like, being able to move & change cabinets to look and work best. When the project started, Tony was onsite to make sure it happened according to the plan. Tony closely monitored the crew and kept in great communication with us throughout the process. The Verity crew is topnotch and does high quality work while always being professional, courteous and friendly. The worksite was kept organized and cleaned up each day for the next phase. The project was completed on time and Ted, Tony, and office manager Jennifer were readily available to answer questions and follow-up on any detail that needed attention. We look forward to working with the Verity crew again when we are ready to move forward on our bathroom remodels. Sandy & Jack read more

Verity Baths recently remodeled our bathroom to make it handicap accessible & we had a very limited space to work with. The existing bathroom was small & we were only able to add another foot or two to allow us to eventually move around in a wheel chair so planning was very important. My husband was unable to help me work with the contractor so it would have been easy for Verity to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Ted (one of the owners) spent many hours with me in the planning stage & actually shopped with me prior to the build starting. Scheduling and communications was incredible & Jennifer (office manager) was always on top of the details, one of which was getting the city permits, & she kept me informed as we went along. During the build Tony (the other owner) made sure the placement of everything worked & came up with ideas that would enhance the area. He and the fantastic crew answered my many questions and explained the process as we went along which I really appreciated. Their staff prepped the area each day paying close attention to my new wood floors & cleaned up at the end of each day. Someone was there EVERY DAY & if they were going to arrive later than expected I was notified in advance. Tony made sure we were happy with everything as the work progressed & both he & Ted worked alongside their staff when needed. I met with 6 contractors & Verity was not the least expensive but there was just something there that made me feel like I could trust them (I'm from the generation that did things with a hand shake) which can't be done anymore. Ted, Tony & Jennifer were very professional, and their staff definitely reflected their attitudes. I can tell you personally that Verity is a competent and trust worthy contractor that went out of their way to be sure what they promised actually happened. Our bathroom is BEAUTIFUL & actually works well for my husband. I am really glad I went with my instinct & chose Verity Baths. read more

Full disclosure: I did not hire Ted and his team at Verity and I wish I had. I hired another remodeler and regret it very much. Shortly after completion, our new 30K kitchen was flooded as the remodeler chose not to replace a 70 year old rusted iron drain pipe in our wall and would not own this huge mistake. I came to Verity in duress: Jennifer and Ted were buried busy but returned my calls quickly and prepared a quote to fix our mess even faster and for less money than our contractor who caused the whole problem. I can tell that Ted and his team are above board with integrity and delivery. They will get my future business! read more

We used Verity Build for both our bathroom remodel in 2016 and now also for our kitchen remodel 11/2017. Very pleased with both outcomes, Ted worked with our budget in both and Tony was great working with the crew to get everything done on time and within budget. Jennifer in the office was also great to work with as she provided guidance in paint colors and fixtures. All their crew was very professional and to the site on time and very skilled. I highly recommend them! They did an amazing job with our bathroom and were extremely pleasant to work with. Ted was so helpful in the design process and Tony worked through any changes we had or hiccups. The were okay with us keeping our dogs home locked in the kitchen during the project despite the constant barking they had to deal with. If we need construction work done in the future we will defiantly be using them. read more

The entire Verity team were pros from start to finish. Ted (the owner) was referred to us by our neighbors, who had a kitchen and bathroom redone by them. I had a good idea of what I wanted and Ted was able to help me find the exact look. His crew, led by Tony, were on time every morning, left the place clean on a daily basis, and finished the job on time and on budget, without any surprises. Overall communication was fantastic on all fronts. It was, by far, the best experience I've ever had doing home renovation. I highly recommend them. read more

The company sent a design guy to my home and he had several design ideas for me which was good, I needed the help. I wound up going with new granite counter tops (pearl blue) and refacing the existing cabinets and adding new hardware which costs less then brand new cabinets. The price was the lowest of my estimates, I had three. The new counters and cabinets are in and look awesome. Excellent workmanship! I worked with Ted and highly recommend this company. read more

A couple of years ago we bought a house in Lomita that needed some TLC. The kitchen was a priority and Verity Build was the contractor we finally chose and are very glad we did. Ted did the design and is fantastic to work with. He listened to our wants, needs and desires and then came up with a layout we could afford that was almost perfect. After a lot of thought and several tweaks we had a great plan on paper for a price we thought was fair. After signing the paperwork we met Tony who was the on site supervisor and demolition began. I can't say enough good things about the various work crews. They showed up each day on time, were always polite and happy, told us what was going to happen that day and always cleaned up after themselves. Part of the remodel was moving one of the kitchen walls 3 feet, which could have caused major dust issues. The dust was well contained and kept to a minimum. Jennifer, a great designer in her own right, runs the office and kept orders, payments, product deliveries and schedules on track. The project was supposed to take 6 weeks but was finished a week ahead of schedule and on budget. This is our 6th house and we know quite a bit about problems with home remodeling and I can say without hesitation that Verity Build is fantastic to work with. They may not be the cheapest but they are truly excellent to work with and you get more than you pay for in the long run. We look forward to using Verity Build next year to remodel our two bathrooms. read more
