I went to Carson Floor & Decor to redesign my guest bathroom and BABYYYY... this place had me in a full design chokehold. Rows and rows of gorgeous tile -- I was overwhelmed, over-stimulated, and emotionally attached to at least 37 options. I was so stuck I almost needed a wellness check But shoutout to Clint at the door -- he was AMAZING. Super friendly, patient, and literally showed me a way out because I had no clue what I was doing anymore. He suggested I come back and get scheduled with one of their designers, and honestly... thank God. Service: All the staff at this Carson location have been helpful and friendly. They have assisted me in special orders, returns, and pick up of selection. Selection: This Floor and Decor has a great selection of tile, flooring materials, construction supplies, bathroom vanities, and various other construction materials. The tile selection is really awesome when we did both of our bathroom remodels. The 48"x48" tiles were perfect to minimize my grout lines and give my floors and wall a smooth finish. The back splash tile for my kitchen also made it look nice and welcoming. You will be able to find your style here at Floor and Decor Carson. Value: I got my back splash tile for $1.29 per tile, over ordered by 4 boxes, and the staff refunded me with no issues. The 4x4 were a bit more ($84 per tile) but worth it. The delivery fee is decent and not wholly unreasonable but if you pay for the service they will be great at exchanging any broken tile. read more

Clint and Kendra were great with customer service by ensuring a refund was handled for a big order I didn't want. Didn't pick up, Paid A LOT $ paid online, I made the original order at Fountain Valley. I was not able to run back to the store in OC from Long Beach. They both called to tell me the refund would be processed. That order was a rush decision, and was not really what I envisioned. I spotted the "Easton Hickory" Its Really what I wanted.. I believe we will be happy with this one. Amillion, helped My friend order at Carson. Downey and Carson together had enough for our house. It's a totally better look for us.. the Easton Hickory rustic and farmhouse looking. Browns not red like 1st one. Also better price and Carson gave a better discount 20% off. I will add the photos once it's finished to show the results. I needed the carpet out and floors in asap. So getting enough flooring right away was needed. Floor & Decor had it even though at two locations. If I have other needs for walls or other floors I'll return to the Carson store. read more

Good displays so we can get inspired for bathrooms & other areas. Whoever the designer is for this store did a fabulous job. Some of the small "rooms" looked very dramatic with colorful, polished tiles. Some of the other displays looked very inviting & innovative. Forgot to take pictures as I was in a rush to purchase tiles & deliver them to the contractor. They have a good selection of tiles for reasonable prices & other flooring materials too. I've been a Pro Member at Floor & Decor Carson for years and have always appreciated the excellent Pro Desk team led by Tito. He and his staff are professional, efficient, and the reason I continue to shop at this location. That being said, my recent interaction with Operations Manager Evon was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've ever had. From the moment she came out of her office, she was hostile and dismissive. She refused to let me finish a sentence, repeatedly cut me off, and ultimately walked away as to say, "we don't care about you shopping here." For a manager to treat any customer--let alone a long-time Pro Member--in such a manner is completely unacceptable. Evon showed zero respect, zero leadership, and zero regard for customer relationships. Her behavior is an embarrassment to the company and a disservice to the hardworking employees who actually value their customers. Floor & Decor should seriously reconsider whether someone with such disregard for professionalism belongs in a management position. Loyal customers like myself will not continue to support a business where managers openly disrespect the very people keeping the doors open. read more

We went to the Carson Floor & Decor today and although everyone there was extremely helpful, Andrew went above and beyond. He was friendly & knowledgeable. He was able to locate and order the floor tile we loved but was out of stock. I am currently in a full leg brace and when the electronic cart broke down in the middle of the aisle, not only did he immediately go retrieve the wheelchair they have available, he even offered to push it. I recently purchased 3 different tiles for a bathroom and kitchen remodel at Floor Decor. Having visited the Carson site ~9 times this year for different products, I had been assisted by ~6 different associates. The best two were designers Larissa and Gaby. They were the most knowledgeable and whom I relied on for my final decisions. Gaby assisted me with the bathroom tile (shower wall & bathroom floor) and Larissa guided me with kitchen backsplash tile to match my granite countertop. I trust both Larissa and Gaby for their design expertise. I had visited three other tile outlets in the area and, in comparison, found Larissa and Gaby to best take into important considerations, both aesthetic and practical. read more

Needed to return tile and edging that we didn't need...Floor and Decor followed through by having all of our purchases in their system because my wife is a pro premier member, and the return went very smoothly. There is no dedicated return area...one just has to stand in the single checkout line with everyone else. It seemed like it might take a long time, but it didn't. I'm a contractor who does plenty of kitchens, bathrooms and flooring in the OC and LA area. I've been using the Carson location for many years because I love the staff there. They are helpful, they help us load and design our bathroom remodels. I usually work with Tito he is my go to guy. Always on top of it however if he isn't available the girls at the pro desk always go over and beyond for me. If you need tile or flooring come here. Even when I work in OC I still take a trip to Carson or call my orders in because I like thus store. They are very organized and it's easy to find what you are looking for compared to other stores. The good: I got my bathroom porcelain tile floors and shower walls here. I got penny tiles, hexagon tiles and larger rectangle ones. The selection was easy to navigate and it was easy to order more tile when I was short and return extra tiles when I had excess. I was able to order online and pickup in the store and see their inventory at different locations. The store was organized and workers were helpful. The prices were fair. I also bought grout here and the metal pieces that go at the end of your tiles in the bathroom. I was looking for terrazzo tiles and they did have one or two options (though I didn't end up using this). The bad: I was looking for a specific type of Mallorca tile for my kitchen backsplash but they didn't have what I was looking for. I ended up getting this at a different spot. The interesting: Some decor stores give discounts for business license holders or realtors but this place doesn't. read more

Sitting' on this one for a while... We are now on our third, (and final), bath remodel. During these extremely high stress remodeling times, we have been to Floor and Decor around 10 times, if not more. Here's what I can say about the joint... First... excellent selection of tile, trim, flooring etc. you can choose from stone, marble, porcelain, yada, yada, yada, in a multitude of colors, sizes, shapes and styles. Secondly, the place is HUGE!!! Housed in what used to be a Super K, it kinda goes on forever and ever. Third, there are quite a few kitchen, bath and other assorted "preview" options for one to view. Especially helpful for those of us that are designer challenged, (that would be me, not the wifey)... Lastly (and this is important), IF you use a "non-Floor and Decor" credit card, be ABSOLUTELY sure to keep on to your receipt IF, there is a possibility of a return. Otherwise, a refund you would otherwise expect will just not happen. Another item of note... be sure to identify if your purchase is a "final sale" item. Usually, the clerks will identify them as such but if you purchase items of this kind, you will be $hit outta luck when trying to return. Overall tho, a great store and great addition to the city of Carson! read more

In my opinion and based on my experiences, Floor & Decor's customer service is horrendous and their staff are typically rude, unmotivated to work and incompetent. It's a shame that, it appears to me, that they don't care about their customers at all and are just in it to make a quick buck. It's really disappointing to have these types of experiences when you have high hopes and high demands for the goods and services being sold. Floor & Decor needs to take another look at manager training and employee hiring. read more

I don't feel good giving a bad review but with this Floor and Decor in Carson I believe it's worth spending time on it. It is because I love that they have a lot of product selections to choose from. Unfortunately, the service is not at par compare to its competitors. I have approached 5 staff today: one is extremely helpful, another one is also helpful but the other 3 are very disappointing. They don't even try to hide that they don't like their job. I think it's the management's fault to put untrained people on the floor that are not ready to fulfill good service tasks. This is the greatest store in the world! (If you're looking for tile or flooring.) I mean, the showroom is HUGE! The inventory is AMAZING! Anything and everything is in stock and in the showroom. We shopped at F & D (Carson) for our remodel a couple of years ago -- kitchen and owner bathroom. And we enjoyed superb quality and selection. We are returning, in 2024, in search of tile for the two guest bathrooms. (I wouldn't bother with the remodel -- if it ain't broke, why fix it -- but, then, I married a woman, Heather, rhymes with weather.) Now get this: They give you an expert DESIGN CONSULTANT who walks you through and helps you make decisions. Our consultant, Laurice Do, was and is SUPERB! She gave us computer drawings of the room -- to scale -- and put in the tile for us to get a sense of how everything will look. And when we change our minds (as my wife is wont to do), she puts together a re-design within minutes. Truly responsive! And thoughtful. Laurice correctly steered us in the direction of shedding the shower -- not enough room -- for a tub with a shower wand. STUPENDOUS! And get this: The DESIGN CONSULTANT is at NO CHARGE. Are you kidding me? One last thing: They have tiles and flooring in a million different varieties. But check out the oversize pieces of art -- tiles that are like 5 feet by 10 feet in size. HUGE. And BEAUTIFUL. The selections are INFINITE. (Sorry for the ALL CAPS - makes me look like that idiot Donald Trump.) read more
