We are incredibly happy with our new bathroom! May and Mike were great throughout the whole process. We initially were overwhelmed by the amount of options we had to choose ourselves (tiles, fixtures, locations for everything, etc.) but May helped us through it all. This isn't a do-it-all company though - we still had to buy tiles & fixtures and then organize for painters and our shower door. M&M's pricing was great though for all they did. May's team was very quick and very professional. They always wore their masks and were good about cleaning up after themselves. We weren't as happy with the tiling team though. They smoked inside our garage, they didn't clean up as well, and the grout lines aren't quite perfect. Still, overall, the result is great! The only other minor issue is that May and Mike were the only ones who spoke English. May made sure everything worked out well for us though. We're very happy with the results and we'd probably bring May's team back if we decide to do another bathroom or our kitchen. read more

I consulted with May for a remodel of one bathroom . She came over to assess my bathroom & did some measurements. She told me that it would be impossible to install a free standing tub & that was the last I heard from her. She never gave me a quote ( she said she would ) and she never followed up with me . You figure someone who is advertised as kitchen AND bath would have no issue with a basic shower remodel, right? (some of the pictures I have seen would be well within her capability to do). Apparently that job is too small for her time. Here's a quote from what she sent me, after I inquired about a remodel: "Unfortunately, we don't have a contractor available to repair the shower stall this time. Thank you ! May" She assumed it was full bathroom remodel. When I pointed out it was a simple shower remodel, that is what I got. How do you remodel kitchens/showers, and not have a contractor to repair showers? Especially since I really wanted to redo my shower area so we are not talking a "simple" repair? So, I requested a quote because I saw so many positive, glowing reviews, about how she did a great job for everyone else. The first day we got the keys to the house their crew got to work and we were amazed how fast everything went. They completed the work in 3 weeks, which is a lot faster than what other contractors were quoting. In terms of price, they are very competitive. May designed a beautiful kitchen and master bathroom for us and always kept us informed with the progress with the remodel. She gave us a lot of different choices and we really like the island with the integrated microwave inside the cabinet. Their workers are all excellent. I've been a yelp member for 10 years now, and don't usually write reviews. But every now and then I come across a business/experience that I just have to share with my fellow yelpers. We've been remodeling our house over the last few years and the final project was the kitchen and flooring. Our last experience w contractors for the bathrooms was terrible - which reminds me I still need to write that review. My mom decided to hire a contractor and didn't tell me until it was too late. As soon as I started looking at the previous reviews for the last contractor I knew it was a mistake. And I was going to make sure we didn't make the same mistake twice. We found M&M on yelp, and decided to stop in as they have rave reviews. Of course just being burned recently, I was very skeptical and visited a few contractors for multiple bids. After collecting several bids over a few weeks, we decided to go w May and Mike as we liked the materials and the price was good. As all the previous reviews confirmed, their crew did a fantastic job, met all deadlines, and cleaned up every day. The service and workmanship was top notch and we were and still are absolutely satisfied with their work. However, what really sets May and Mike apart is the follow up and customer service after the work was done. A year after everything was completed we needed help w adjusting a cabinet, installing additional floor moldings in our other rooms, and even installing a towel rack in a bathroom. They came over on Thanksgiving day to help and we can't say how much we appreciated everything! This was all done without additional charges - thank you M&M so much for giving us such a great experience!! We just got cabinets and quartz counters installed by M&M Kitchen. They look great ! And what fair prices ! May was very patient with us as we had a few bumps in the road with our contractor causing long delays. May gives excellent design advice and layout design. Her measurements for our 1950's house were perfect even with its imperfections. Both the cabinet and quartz installers were excellent as well. They come well prepared with everything they need and stay till they complete the install. Their clean up is great as well. We highly recommend M&M Kitchen!! When we were starting with the first bathroom, we met with several different contractors, one of whom told us our (very small) bathroom would take 6 weeks to complete! M&M finished the job in 6 days. Very unprofessional and rude owner, May. I was told to come by the store in order to get a quote on installing a kitchen island. Her rudeness on phone was annoying but I figured she's driving and having bad day. Once I made my trip to her store, she realized the job was too small, she completely ignored me and went to the bathroom. If you had to go potty, at least be courteous and say Excuse Me, even my little 3 year old has the decency to excuse himself to go. I'm baffled how her business still standing on how she treats her potential customers. I don't care how successful your business is, if you treat one customer like dirt, be rest assured your business will never prosper. Imagine if your first remodel was done with May and Mike of M & M Kitchen Bath, you would be so spoiled. You would think that people must be exaggerating about the horrors of a remodel because with M & M Kitchen and Bath, the process is so easy, quick, painless, and the results are amazing! I knew after my first visit with May at M & M Kitchen Bath that I had found the team for my kitchen remodel. I didn't need to be overwhelmed with an abundance of choices for cabinets, countertops, and flooring. May's selections were all beautiful, solid, and well made, and it was easy for me to choose what I wanted in my kitchen. May sent me home with my homework - take some initial measurements of my kitchen, from which she was able to work up a preliminary sketch and give me a good estimate based on my choice of cabinets, countertop, and flooring. May then came and measured more precisely before giving me the design for the kitchen and a more accurate price for the job. I appreciated that she was building in time for me to be certain of my choices so that she could ascertain the availability of the cabinets and countertops before we finalized the contract. I run a lot of errands on that side of town, so it was easy for me to call May and arrange to drop by to look at cabinet and countertop combinations, ask questions, sign the contract, get my shopping list (cabinet knobs and handles, backsplash, faucet, garbage disposal, etc), talk about the pros and cons of a farmhouse sink, and go over the schedule. May is incredibly knowledgeable, precise, efficient, realistic, and flexible. She built in time and rearranged the schedule based on what the electrician needed to do for the job. May told me she would take ten days (the first contractor told me six weeks on the phone, but when he looked at my kitchen, he amended the time to four weeks ) but she admitted that it would probably be done sooner, but better to give me the worst case scenario. The electrician needed two days, and May's team completed their jobs in eight and a half days. Who wouldn't be happy to be without a kitchen for only eleven days (more or less) rather than twenty eight days? With respect to Mike and his workers who took care of the demolition, patching, putting in a new floor (kitchen, one bedroom, dining room, and living room), installing the cabinets and sink, installing the granite countertop, installing the backsplash, more patching, and installing the new appliances and faucet - impressive work, impressive results. Each group came in the morning (not too early, not too late), laid down tarps, worked hard all day, cleaned up after themselves, and left us with so much to take in and appreciate at the end of each day. I liked that that May dropped by each day. The closet doors weren't closing because of an error with the baseboards. I pointed it out to May, who showed the cabinet guy, who promptly fixed the problem - and that was the only issue that came up with the job. I love my new kitchen. May is easy to work with, she is a good listener so she was able to provide sage guidance - so many new materials and styles and gadgets (cabinet doors and drawers that close automatically and silently, so cool!). She recommended the flooring that would withstand dogs, sun, and water. Even though I was skeptical, May convinced me about the esthetics of having glass doors on one set of the cabinets. She was right! May brought me and my kitchen into the 21st century! read more
