Highly recommend AP Remodeling! We got our kitchen renovated, which included a load bearing wall removal and it has been a good experience. Initially, we worked with a designer provided by the company to get a great 3D model of the kitchen with detailed measurements prior to the project to fully envision everything. We have been able to live in our house during the project, and they have been very accommodating to partition the construction zone. There are a few details to go, but overall we've been very happy and know that it will end up perfect. We've heard a lot of horror stories from friends with other contractors, so feel very fortunate we haven't had any issues. The whole time, Matan (the project manager) and the workers have been very proactive and communicative. They do what it takes to stay on schedule, sometimes working longer hours or working weekends to reach milestones, which is great! In addition, they've handled the permitting process, and other logistics, so for a lot of the major aspects, we've been pretty hands-off. Tried to find my original review that I left a few months ago on our kitchen remodel, but it seems to have disappeared! TL/DR: After 8 months post-remodel, we love our kitchen, flooring & new baseboards --everyone who visits us gushes over the quality and design aesthetic of the remodel. The most impressive thing that I wanted to highlight is AP Remodeling's commitment to quality and warranty. After 7 months of use, the dishwasher panel as well as the top kitchen cabinet drawer suddenly came loose. We contacted Josh (our PM at AP Remodeling) and he was super quick to respond and ensure the crew came out onsite that same week to make it right, no questions asked. That's not all --- one month after fixing our dishwasher panel, my husband accidently dropped a can from the top of the cabinet to the bottom of the fridge panel, which caused the panel to be dinged (it was a high fall). This obviously had nothing to do with AP Remodeling's workmanship --- nevertheless, Josh/AP Remodeling team graciously came out to repair our fridge panel, no pushback and fast/quality fix! 5 stars because the initial kitchen remodel was top notch, but 5 stars mainly because this company ensures that their product holds the test of time and are willing to partner to make things right. This review is long overdue! We had an excellent experience working with AP Remodeling on our major remodel​! They totally exceeded all my expectations and I'm beyond happy with the results. After meeting with several contractors, I felt Daniel with AP Remodeling was the most knowledgeable, professional, and honest. I have worked with other contractors in the past on smaller scale projects, and none were as detailed, organized, and transparent as AP Remodeling with their itemized payment schedule, monthly project schedule, and scope of project documents. The back office was incredibly efficient with their weekly updates. Our remodel started in the kitchen with a new layout to include a range hood vent system that never existed before, relocating the cooktop from the island to the wall side, moving walls, and rebuilding the pantry room. We also installed new ​engineered wood flooring throughout the house, removed a wet bar, and installed new cabinets in the kitchen, living room, family room, laundry room and hallways, and remodeled 2 fireplaces. Very satisfied with the AP Remodeling (APR), highly recommend, absolutely would contract again. Loved working with our project lead, Daniel; and project foreman, Armando. We had APR do a targeted house remodel in 2024. Demo built-ins, 2 full bath remodels, move and reframe ~20 total linear feet of walls, replace ~1500 sq ft of flooring (tile & hardwood), repair & resurface leaking balcony, patch & paint ceilings & walls, service all exterior doors, install kitchen backsplash tiles, install baseboards, plus lots of littler items. I imagine this is more challenging than a full gutting or new construction because there was a lot in the house we were *not* touching, and the extent of the work varied greatly by room. I created multiple Google Docs totaling almost 80 pages to communicate project specs to APR. My husband and I wanted to redo two half bathrooms, install a new banister for our stairs, and exchange two closet doors in our new home. We contacted 4 companies and we went with AP Remodeling for a few reasons: they were the second most competitive bid, they came across as the most professional (they had a lot of experience, all the permits, etc.), and they included a service from a third company (WeVisu) to assist with sourcing all the fixtures and materials. This third company, WeVisu, did absolutely nothing for us -- we had to research and buy all the fixtures and materials ourselves. But AP Remodeling was very good. Eventhough we ultimately went in a different direction, I want to share my positive experience during the bidding process. These guys were amazing. I have worked with construction companies before who quote you 6-8 weeks and then take 9 months (actually happened) or to whom you give only one specific instruction regarding what non-toxic stain you would like them to use and then, of course, they don't and won't fix it (also happened). So needless to say, I was skeptical starting my kitchen remodel, but honestly, these guys did an amazing job. They showed up every day to work on the kitchen (which may not seem like much, but is when the others guys won't show up for sometimes weeks at a time) and were careful and through. They would talk to me and keep me updated so that nothing was missed and to double check, if not triple check, to make sure nothing got screwed up. They quoted me 4 weeks and finished in 5, where the only real delay was caused because I went out of town and couldn't finish my part timely (I wanted to do the painting with a particular technique for lime painting to match what I had previously painted). Even after the project was finished except for one last small part, and they had already been paid in full, they showed up to finish the job right away when the piece came in. I hired AP Remodeling for my home addition and renovation project. We added on square footage, took down walls to make the space more open concept, renovated the kitchen and one bathroom and built a master en-suite. I chose them based on the project manager Daniel's attention to detail, excellent communication skills, reassuring vibe and his apparent willingness to go above and beyond. We interviewed 3 contractors and he was the only one who created a 3d design to help me see the potential for my project. Daniel was great in that he gave me a list of all the finishing projects I would need to purchase and this helped me to be able to research for the finishes I truly wanted and was able to obtain them in a timely manner to keep my project on track. Throughout the reno we had unforeseen issues such as weather (extensive rain), needing to rent a temporary power pole, a very particular city inspector, and waiting on steps needing to be taken by the utility company that delayed my project. Daniel was very helpful, responsive, solution-focused, reassuring, and calmed me down when I was worried or stressed. Every time I had a question he would address it that day and was always willing to meet or speak about my concerns, then to help with problem solving. I love my newly renovated home and I would work with Daniel and AP Remodeling again! I highly recommend them!!! read more
