We hired IND construction to build a 120 sq ft loft and open up a wall, remove a chimney and install a pair of large sliding glass doors. This involved structural work and a very detailed blueprints. Our site manager Dorel was great to work with and always responsive to our needs. He visited the job site daily (sometimes more) and communicated progress along the way. The final product was everything we had hoped for and the finishing work to match some pre-existing elements of the house was spot on. We had our bathroom remodeled with IND Construction, with Tomer as our contractor. We are extremely satisfied with our bathroom. Tomer was extremely helpful when we needed to figure out our layout and the tile when we gave him our vision. He gave us recommendations for each step. He had points of contact in the industry that helped get great quality and deals for our cabinets as well. Since this may have been the first job in Hawthorne, permit process unfortunately took a while, and we failed one inspection at the beginning (quickly fixed). The workers were always very respectful and worked extremely hard when they were at the job site. Any time there was something that wasn't up to my unrealistic standards, the team worked diligently to get things exactly the way I wanted. We had one hiccup where we should have checked to make sure we had enough tile for a tile design change, which led to a delay since the tile supplier was out of stock. With that in mind, they made sure we had a useable bathroom for the time being. Even in the end, the small details we wanted to make sure were right, Tomer was in constant communication to make sure everything was right and to my vision. IND Construction was a wonderful company to partner with for a THIRD home remodel project - painting the exterior of our 100-year-old two-story home and garage. In the last year and a half, they completed a bathroom addition, replaced the old HVAC, new kitchen and bathroom countertops, and a whole house up-to-code electrical rewire. My husband and I hired IND Construction to replace the shower in our primary bathroom with a tub/shower combo. (Our shower needed a repair that unfortunately required starting over). We worked with Erez and Javier and their team. We started on March 6th and finished on April 17th. Our project seemed simple on paper, but had some unexpected hurdles along the way. We appreciated how this team handled all of it. They worked kindly and patiently with our neighbor when a problem was discovered in a shared wall. The tile work was very well done!! We used IND Construction to transform our kitchen. We took out a wall to make it open concept as well as designed a totally new footprint. Overall, the final product is amazing and such high quality. I love how it turned out and have gotten so many compliments! We had work done on our bathroom and kitchen. When we met with Dorel and Avi, Project Managers, through an initial consultation. We had two bathrooms, outdoor slab and a kitchen lighting we wanted to get done. They said the prices for the bathrooms were the same regardless of which one we wanted to get done. After showing them the Vendors we had solicited, they back down a bit on the quote. Even so, it was still the highest. My wife and I reviewed the Vendors and finally chose IND due to their years in service they had registered with the California Licensing Board and the level of liability insurance coverage for their employees, which we later learn were all subcontractors. To demonstrate their experience and workmanship, they wanted to start with one of the bathrooms and kitchen lighting. My wife had watched over the worksite to ensure the contractors were progressing and addressing the design she had wanted for the end result. The subcontractors spoke very little English and at times, it was difficult to relay the message to them. We had to contact the site managers, who were hardly ever around and only showed up to collect the payment at the end of each deliverable. Overall, IND did a good job on the bathroom and kitchen remodel. The only gripe we have with them is they fall short on the integrity side. Eran has to be the most patient, kind, and ethical contractor we've ever encountered. We'd done several projects in the past, but re-doing our entire home was our biggest undertaking yet. Our first contractor did not work out, so we were put in touch with IND Construction and were immediately impressed by the very first meeting. Working with Eran was a completely different experience. I never saw him lose his temper even once, and remained solution oriented when the inevitable unforeseen would come up. They looked me in the eye They showed up on time Days when they would be late they contacted me to let me know what was going on **They don't insult other contractors work to make you think they're better (they just are better) They (and everyone else on their team) kept me constantly updated they listened when I had to speak They care to teach me about anything I don't understand when I brought them a crazy idea: they considered it and talked it through, not only so they understood what I meant, but so they could add to it, or adjust the idea, so that it fit within the scope of the project and stayed within budget! They let me know when I might want to reconsider some of my crazier ideas that might just color outside the lines. (i.e. no we can't do that... That's illegal/ not to code: I mean I wanted fire pits in fire restricted areas and I wanted electrical next to plumbing and all sorts of other bad ideas... Instead they sent me to Redberm landscaping or rather I should say they made sure I got in contact with Liz Duer the owner to work up a plan so we could get a realistic quote. The Love and care that every single person they hire puts into their work is evident in every single aspect and stage of the process. Having done remodeling on my own before I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. This just makes everyone's life easier. It makes it easier to install, it's a heck of a lot quieter during install, if this is ever going to be remodeled 40 years in the future it makes their life easier, or my future life in 40 years easier. It's just! OMG! Juan my electrician, not only did he do a perfect job the first time updating all of my electrical, but when installing two extra recessed LED lights in my kitchen to extend the 'kitchen area' He took the time to notice that I had purchased two matching LED lights for other areas of my house, so he pulled those and put them in the kitchen (to match), and used the new LED lights to separate the kitchen from the hallway and closet, fixture wise. I almost cried when I noticed, because it meant they didn't just throw away the ones I had purchased, or mismatch them, or waste time trying to go out to find ones to match. They don't waste good. Details. They're meticulous about details - everyone involved, or that they have involved with their business is attentive to details. Why? They "Build Hearts". IND Construction, FTW! I'm so excited!
