I am in the middle of a project with IND Construction. I interviewed eight other companies and IND was one of the only companies that left me material to review after they left. In addition David and Eran checked all the other boxes. They looked me in the eye They showed up on time Days when they would be late they contacted me to let me know what was going on **They don't insult other contractors work to make you think they're better (they just are better) They (and everyone else on their team) kept me constantly updated they listened when I had to speak They care to teach me about anything I don't understand when I brought them a crazy idea: they considered it and talked it through, not only so they understood what I meant, but so they could add to it, or adjust the idea, so that it fit within the scope of the project and stayed within budget! They let me know when I might want to reconsider some of my crazier ideas that might just color outside the lines. (i.e. no we can't do that... That's illegal/ not to code: I mean I wanted fire pits in fire restricted areas and I wanted electrical next to plumbing and all sorts of other bad ideas... I mean I don't know the law I don't know what can go wrong... Okay, so maybe the plumbing/electrical thing I should've realized, but this is why I hire a professional... I could've hired some guy out of the parking lot of Home Depot, ...And he probably would've done what I asked and charged me to do it... And I could also get electric shocks every time I wash dishes, so...) All of their advice came from the heart they have never once been condescending and are completely on the same page about finding the things that need to be done "for the house". "For the house" This is my phrase. I want to do what's best for the property, not just for my enjoyment or errant whim. I also considered landscape Design And rather than give me an arbitrary quote, which given that I know nothing about landscaping could be literally anything and I would've believed them. Instead they sent me to Redberm landscaping or rather I should say they made sure I got in contact with Liz Duer the owner to work up a plan so we could get a realistic quote. When it comes to the kitchen remodel David and Eran work with Michelle owner of Mega Kitchen Design When I told Michelle I wanted to buy appliances directly she me to Fabian her supplier, upon request. And Liz at RedBerm, Michelle at Mega, and Fabian at Expressions Home Gallery are just as great as David and Eran. I can't tell you what a great network of people you will find when you trust IND Construction! The Love and care that every single person they hire puts into their work is evident in every single aspect and stage of the process. Every day it's clean when they leave. if I'm not here, the door is locked, the lights are turned off, the floor is always swept. The drywall they installed with drywall SCREWS instead of NAILS. Having done remodeling on my own before I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. This just makes everyone's life easier. It makes it easier to install, it's a heck of a lot quieter during install, if this is ever going to be remodeled 40 years in the future it makes their life easier, or my future life in 40 years easier. It's just! OMG! Juan my electrician, not only did he do a perfect job the first time updating all of my electrical, but when installing two extra recessed LED lights in my kitchen to extend the 'kitchen area' He took the time to notice that I had purchased two matching LED lights for other areas of my house, so he pulled those and put them in the kitchen (to match), and used the new LED lights to separate the kitchen from the hallway and closet, fixture wise. I almost cried when I noticed, because it meant they didn't just throw away the ones I had purchased, or mismatch them, or waste time trying to go out to find ones to match. They don't waste good. Details. They're meticulous about details - everyone involved, or that they have involved with their business is attentive to details. Why? They "Build Hearts". IND Construction, FTW! I'm so excited! I have video of my cabinet installation I cannot wait to share with everyone. I'll post pictures when it's finished! read more

IND was a terrific company to work with on my kitchen remodel. The results exceeded my expectations (see attached photos). The plumbing, tiling, flooring, painting, electrical, work crews that IND has assembled were exceptional. Erez Shifferman, the project manager, was amazing, a pleasure to work with and managed the effort with a positive (we're in this together) team attitude. He kept me informed on the scheduled work detail, provided information on next steps, resolved my issues and concerns, and provided working alternatives when unexpected issues turned up (which they always do). Thanks, Erez! I highly recommend IND and plan to use them in my next remodeling project. read more

We had a repair and remodel of our master bathroom. From the very beginning I had a lot of confidence in IND construction. Dorel was our project manager. He was very attuned about what we wanted. No high pressure in his proposal. The job was done to perfection and is beautiful. Everyone was very responsive to our requests. The project was done by a crew with every attention to detail. Everything was left clean after each day's work. The best! read more

Eran has to be the most patient, kind, and ethical contractor we've ever encountered. We'd done several projects in the past, but re-doing our entire home was our biggest undertaking yet. Our first contractor did not work out, so we were put in touch with IND Construction and were immediately impressed by the very first meeting. Working with Eran was a completely different experience. I never saw him lose his temper even once, and remained solution oriented when the inevitable unforeseen would come up. Towards the end of the project, when most contractors are racing out the door to their next gig, he went over in detail every tiny thing that needed to be adjusted, from straightening mirrors to minor paint chips caused from moving our furniture back in. He could have easily said his job was done, but he never stopped trying to make it perfect. We could text or call day or night with absolutely any issues and would get a response immediately starting from day one. I know when we have our next home we will be calling IND again. We love our dream home. read more

Long overdue review--we hired IND after a referral to remodel our master bath. We have remodeled 3 times and all have been very stressful, cost more money, took longer and caused remodel fatigue. Dorel came over to meet us and look over our project requests. He was so calm, creative and very informative. Instantly I felt comfortable. Once we received the quotes and got our questions asked I signed on the dotted line. Our Master was going to be demolished--out with an old jacuzzi tube and shower and in with a new double vanity, glasses on shower and no tub. Start to finish 6 weeks!! Everything was so smooth--communication, day by day updates , money due. Loved working with Dorel, Carlos and even got to meet the owner as well to see our new bathroom. Recommend IND with Dorel and Carlos 100%. read more

I had a positive experience with IND and Cynthia in particular. My wife and I have done numerous remodeling projects with numerous different contractors but nothing quite like IND We met Erez a very personable very nice very reliable young man who walked our project literally from A-to-Z. We had a gigantic fireplace pictured below in the middle of our house two-sided to say it was gigantic would be an understatement. They cleanly demoed out the old fireplace. Assisted us with the design and gave us what I would say below is wonderful new look. Our hardwood floors were pretty worn out so we install what's called luxury vinyl and we did some lighting accents upstairs. They were on time they were as clean as could possibly be and I would not hesitate to hire them again for read more

We recently concluded a project with IND construction to remodel / expand our master bedroom / bathroom suite. In case you don't want to read further, we are very pleased with the final result of IND"s work and are happy to recommend them for future projects. This was our first construction project. Here are a few things we learned along the way: 1. We were warned about these projects being stressful -- we had no idea how true that was -- especially during a pandemic, when things like delivery times of materials are out of your control, or inspections are backed up. Expect things to not go as planned, as much as you try to control them. 2. We were unaware of how certain finishing choices could affect the project and should have communicated to our architect. Example - we wanted medicine cabinets, but our architect assumed we wanted mirrors in the bathroom - which affected the structural engineering. 3. It benefits you to get as much detail as possible into the plans, down to how many exact electrical outlets, for example. Whenever we had additional cost, it was often because we had decided to "figure it out later" in the architectural stage. The contractors work off the plans, so any variance from that can add money + time. 4. Ask for weekly meetings to go over any details. 5. Budget at least 25% + in overages for additional work orders or just the rising price of materials. What we liked the most about IND: - QUALITY: Great craftsmanship throughout, overall attention to detail was good -- and when something was missed, they eventually fixed it. As said before, we are very happy with the result. - ON BUDGET: Stuck to the labor budget and any additional work orders were discussed and approved before moving forward. We had virtually no surprises in that regard so that helped immensely with our finances. - RESPONSIVENESS: Prompt response to any questions we had. As well as overall willingness to take feedback and work with us if there was something we were not happy about. - CLEANLINESS: IND left no messes, which was very appreciated throughout the project. - FRIENDLINESS: Eran (CEO) and Greg (project manager) were a pleasure to work with and really went the extra mile to make us happy. Most of the workers were polite. Juan in particular did excellent tile work. - COMMITTMENT: Even though our original time line was extended due to inspections / resources we felt that IND would stick with us to the end to make it right. While we hit some snags during the process, they were eventually sorted out. We are not the type of people to sit back, so taking an active role in the project helped resolve any issues that arose. In the end, we got everything we wanted and the project was completed exactly as we envisioned it. Therefore, we happily recommend IND. read more

We just finished our Kitchen and floor remodel project with IND Construction. Avi and his team did an exceptional job and we are super happy and excited at the final outcome. Our home almost looks like a brand new one now! They exceeded our expectations in every aspect of the project. The company logo says "constructing hearts" and I truly believe that they 100% live by that value. Avi is a true professional and a man of high integrity, honesty and humility. He is very organized and gave us a detailed phase-wise plan at the outset of the project. His team then not only stuck to that plan, but the best part is, they were able to complete the project 3 weeks ahead of schedule. I couldnt have asked for anything more!! Avi told us that he treats every project, how big or small it is, as if it is his own home and at the end of the project he hands over that home to his client. I think thats a great work ethic and I can see the results of that attitude and sincerity in the quality and workmanship of what he and his team have built for us. I must also admit, that I am not a very farsighted and organized homeowner myself which meant that there were several last minute changes I had asked him to do which were not part of the original scope. For instance, all the demolition work was part of the day 1 schedule, but only after 95% of the job was completed, I had a change of mind and wanted a center piece in the family room removed as well :D. Avi not only took care of it within a day but also repainted the wall where the piece was installed. There are several other such big and small instances where he and his team were very patient and accomodatve, went above and beyond their scope and delighted us with great end results. As homeowners, a remodel project when we are living at the property is not easy to handle. We literally had to live out of our upstairs bedroom for 4 weeks, but IND constructions and all their construction staff ensured that the project was as hasslefree as possible. They employ very professional, smart and humble staff and they have a clean-as-you go policy after every work day which is great. I must also give a special shoutout to Ana, our wonderful interior designer who was recommended by Avi to design the kitchen. We have a small-ish kitchen with an awkward nook area. It was Ana's wonderful design that got us hooked to proceed with IND construction. Ana is also super friendly and professional and stayed with us throughout the completion of the project giving us valuable design suggestions at every stage. She has become our go to person for any design recommendations in future! If we ever plan another remodel project for our home, I cant think of any other group than IND and I will highly recommend them for any of your remodel projects too. We are super delighted and we cant wait to make more memories in our dream kitchen now! read more

We found Erez and IND through Angi and because of an issue with mold in our bathroom. We are still in the earlier stages of our project but so far every step has been painless and easy! I have had really bad experiences with other construction companies in the past so while this is early on our project the early experience is key. For the mold remediation we barely knew the workmen had been there. They were efficient and cleaned up daily to the point that my daughter did a double take at how clean it was after they left! We feel fortunate to have found Erez and his team! They show up when they say they will and perform exactly what was discussed. They go at the pace the customer is comfortable with and treat their customers like family! read more

We just finished our project and it turned out wonderful! From the beginning, our PM Erez was polite, on time, and made us feel comfortable about taking this next step in our renovations, something that hasn't been done to this extent in maybe 45 years in our house. We first had the bathroom redone (flooring, countertops, and relocating the shower). After that, we started the bigger project of redesigning the kitchen. This started by meeting with their designer to draft up the renderings. We redid 100% of everything from the flooring, cabinets, tore down two load bearing walls, then painting the joining dining room, hallway, and living room. Erez was in constant communication with us and always welcomed our text message questions at any day/time. They keep you informed of the progress and collect payment along the way after a task item has been completed. If there is something that you don't like on the finished item, such as grout color, they are more than willing to adjust and redo anything if needed. As long as you openly communicate with them, you'll have an amazing outcome that is better than you imagined. read more

5 stars all round. David and team really CARE about doing the job right. We were planning to sell our house and had tight deadlines to complete the project, so I needed a vendor that I could trust. I interviewed several contractors and choose IND because of their expertise, integrity and obvious quality of work. The project wasn't massive (compared to others that IND have done) but it was complicated; modernize our bathroom and completely remodel our second story studio apartment into a permitted ADU. (All while my wife and I were living there with our 2yr old). David's advice was invaluable during the whole process from selecting materials to dealing with the city. How was the outcome? Well they finished on time and we sold the house in less than a week and above asking. 100% we will be using IND on our new home! read more

We had a great experience with IND for our kitchen remodel. It was a significant project involving new cabinetry, slabs, tile backsplash, flooring, windows, lighting and electric, and some structural reconfiguration, plus renovation to the adjacent laundry room. We are very happy with how it turned out. The final construction cost was in line with the estimate. We only went about 15% over, and each change order was well explained and legitimate (due to our own desire to expand the scope of work, or because demo revealed some additional work that was necessary). The project also ran on schedule, with the only significant delay being a custom-material order that took longer to ship due to COVID. Avi was the project supervisor and was great. He was at our house daily to review the work and was very responsive to calls and questions. Overall, his crews were great too - their tile guy was fantastic, the carpenter did an amazing job, and the slab fabrication was impeccable. We also really appreciated working with a designer they use - Ana - who charges separately but at a really reasonable hourly rate; she provided excellent advice on details and materials that helped bring the vision together. To the extent issues arose here and there (as they do on a project), Avi worked with us to resolve them. Even after the project was completed and they were fully paid, he still sent his electrician by (at no extra cost) to swap out some fuses that were tripping and to help us find the right light bulbs for a fixture we ordered. We highly recommend IND and Avi and would certainly go to them again. read more

From our very first meeting, we felt confident in choosing IND Construction to do our bathroom remodel. Dorel explained how the process was going to work, details on each stage, what to expect, and how long going to take, and what it was going to cost. The proposal was clear and accurate. During construction there was always excellent communication. We knew every evening what would be happening the next day. Whenever questions came up the response was always immediate. My wife and I chose IND to help with our ADU project. David and team were very professional and thorough with their work and research. In the early stages of planning and researching the project, IND was able to identify a potential utility easement issue with the project, thus ultimately ending the project all together. IND was very understandable and did not pressure us to continue to build something that would not meet our expectations. Because of IND's excellent due diligence, they were able to save us from a lot of extra unexpected cost and headaches. Thank you guys again! I can't say enough good things about IND Construction, if you're looking for a contractor for any work that is needed, stop looking because you've found the right one. Not only do they do fantastic work, see photo please, they are incredibly communicative about all big and small things that were needed. We just finished a renovation of the master bathroom and the kitchen. We have been waiting to do this since we moved in 15 years ago. IND Construction and Erez were amazing. We had a few hiccups with permits to take down 2 walls at the beginning but once we got going it went pretty smoothly. We appreciated that the same people came throughout the renovation. There were no subcontractors. The guys also saved our cat who somehow got under the house. They didn't hesitate. They got their coveralls on and went under and found her. They went above and beyond. They always cleaned up after themselves and put plastic around everything to keep it clean. When I wasn't happy about something they made it right. In the end we made a list of a few this that needed fixing and it was done the next day. I have already recommended Erez and the team to a few friends. read more

We hired IND to complete a wholesale remodel of the kitchen, bathroom, and floors in our new home. In addition, they painted the entire interior of the house and completed some electrical work. My husband and I met with multiple companies to get bids on our project, but Erez impressed us right away by the way he really listened to our goals and was realistic and informative about what we could achieve. Since this is our first home and first remodeling project, we really appreciated Erez's willingness to explain how things work and what to expect, which made the whole experience much less mystery and stressful than it otherwise would have been. Overall, the construction crew was friendly and clean and did excellent work. Whenever there was a problem, Erez and the team made sure it was taken care of. While we came in a bit over budget, this was entirely due to additions we made to the plan as well as some necessary issues that were uncovered during construction (which seems inevitable!). Eran and his team are simply spectacular. Full stop. I have never worked with a construction company this reliable, responsible and also, reasonably priced. We hired then to do a garage overhaul after a few bad experiences and overly high estimates - not only did they deliver, they came back with creative elements and ideas that brought the price down and gave us the opportunity to do some additional work. It was a no brainer to hire them again and now they're installing cabinets, shelving and even helping with design. They are a full service company and just a pleasure to work with. I wish I knew about IND sooner - it would have saved me a lot of time, energy and money! I can't say enough great things about this company. read more

We had a really great experience working with David and his team. We originally found IND through Angie's List and had them come in for the kitchen design consultation. They were super patient with the numerous changes I had and worked with me for weeks to make sure we had come up with the best layout. David and his team were super responsive, extremely professional and really easy to get along with. We ended up getting 3 other bids and while IND wasn't the cheapest, we chose them because of how confident we felt in their ability to deliver quality work - he had great knowledge, work experience and was extremely flexible and accommodating. Our remodel was a total remodel, including the removal of a structural wall and re-engineering our ceiling supports to accommodate two new skylights. The project was amazingly completed in just 7 1/2 weeks, which included several days of delays caused by the city inspections. It was truly amazing how fast the project went - David had his team lined up for every day - there was no downtime and everything was super organized. His crews were always on-time, courteous and did a really great job. The key to their success is David - he really cares about doing quality work and prioritizes trust, respect, and relationships. He's extremely responsive and went out of his way to help ensure that we got the job done. One night, he waited outside of our structural engineer's office at 9:30 pm to get revised drawings that he could take to the City the following morning. We've done several remodels at our house (extensions, new pool, etc) and the experience working with IND was head and shoulders above anything else we've done. These guys are fantastic. I'm super detail focused and David worked with me every step of the way. I'd highly recommend IND - please feel free to reach out to me anytime if you'd like to discuss our project. read more
