Great Bathroom Remodel experience with the team at Popular Bathroom! After they did an amazing job with the kid's bathroom remodel we knew we wanted them back for the Master Bathroom remodel. Abraham is always trustworthy and professional to work with and the professionals he has come to get the job done are all courteous, respectful and very skilled at what they do. A clean, beautiful job was done with all of the tile work, mounting and detail work to complete the job. Initial concerns about potential water leaks were all resolved cleanly, and any issues that came up mid-remodel were surfaced and dealt with accordingly. Everything got done on budget and to satisfaction! If you are ready to move forward, you can trust them to get the job done. read more

Abraham and his team are great. They really helped maximize the functionality of my teeny tiny bathroom AND make it beautiful. Abraham is just the kindest man, super communicative, and was great at finding a solution when a countertop installation (not by them) went poorly. Fair, transparent pricing and finished on time. Definitely recommend and I'll be coming back to them if I decide to tackle the second bathroom as well. read more

I met with three potential contractors for a bathroom remodel. Abraham was the only contractor who gave me a quote on the spot that detailed the cost, line-by-line. He was honest about what made the most sense when considering various options. Abraham and his team are all friendly and professional. They showed up on time and finished the job in a timely manner. I am extremely pleased with our remodel and I will definitely work with Popular Bathroom again. read more

We have renovated two bathrooms with Popular Bathroom and are planning on a third when the time is right. We chose Abraham over other contractors because he is not only friendly and easy to talk to, but he took the time to discuss our ideas with us. While others would just shrug and say "Whatever you want," Abraham answered our questions and gave us the feedback and guidance we were looking for about how to achieve what we wanted. This was very reassuring because we'd never redone or designed a bathroom before so we did not always know exactly what to do. Our old house can be tricky to work on and threw us all some curveballs but Abraham and his guys always did their best to make things work for us. They are quick and reliable. We are thrilled with the results and wondering why we didn't do this sooner. read more

Abraham was very transparent and honest throughout the entire process and got the job done quicker than we thought. Great service.

We needed to replace our old shower/bath tub as my wife was having trouble stepping over the tub to enter the shower. The quality and beauty of this new shower was beyond my expectations. I was surprised at how much work it was to do the job right and the cost was just about what I expected but the quality was more! Abraham was pleasant, professional and patiently explained every step along the way. He did not require a large down payment but had us pay for materials and labor in steps as the project commenced. He made us feel confident throughout the process! What more could anyone expect? read more

Abraham and his crew are the absolute best!!! I highly recommend them!! They redid our master bathroom and we couldn't be more happy!!!

A+ all around! Judy (receptionist) was timely, responsive, and so so kind! Abraham (owner) was diligent, thoughtful, and detailed. He provided a very thorough estimate with great design tips and recommendations. His team lead, Victor did beautiful tile work and his assistant did great work on the trim. I'm obsessed with my new LVP floors and mosaic tile. I would recommend Abraham 10x over and plan to hire him again for future renovations. Recently, Abraham at Popular Bathroom completed a fairly significant bathroom remodel in a condo owned by my wife. We were down to the studs, plus had to address flooring and wall repairs extending to other rooms. The result was excellent, and I am very happy with how the entire process went. - They specialize in bathrooms, but were able to also paint the unit, install new flooring, and even repair an AC duct that was leaking from the outside. - It was very important to me that everything be done by the book, permits obtained, all to code, etc. Abraham was on top of all of that. - In the middle of the job, we discovered a leak from a neighboring condo unit. This caused significant delays, which Abraham very graciously accommodated without complaint. In general, communication during this multi-month job was excellent. - The new custom bathroom looks fantastic. - I obtained three estimates which were all very similar. So, price is competitive. I would not hesitate to hire these folks again for a similar project. read more

I have only glowing, positive things to say about my experience with Popular Bathroom. Abraham is extraordinarily professional and also warm and friendly. His team is punctual and very nice. It's a great combo that makes a job like this feel like a breeze. We had first planned to do the bathroom job in August 2023, but for personal reasons needed to move the start date to November. They were totally accommodating. What a relief! The entire job took just over 4 weeks, even with Thanksgiving holiday in the timeline, which was amazing. The bathroom was 30 years old and needed a facelift. I was extremely impressed with the demo job -- the workers sealed off our entire living room and kitchen so that dust and debris didn't fly everywhere, and they cleaned up immaculately when they were done. Plus, they were FAST. His tile team did AWESOME work, I am obsessed with how well the shower and floor tiles came out. The attention to detail is seriously top notch. Then the walls were smoothed and painted, shower door installed, then vanity and shower/sink fixtures installed. Abraham also insisted his workers install even the finishes like wall hooks and new mirror so we wouldn't have to lift a finger. It felt really nice to have that kind of treatment and attention to detail. At the end there was one ridge in the drywall that needed to be re-sanded and repainted and it was corrected swiftly and seamlessly. Abraham is extremely communicative and hands on (he even moved my laundry units himself) so you feel like you're in the best hands during the entire process. You never feel like you're being upsold or pressured. I will tell ANYONE looking to redo their bathroom to enlist Popular Bathroom! read more

Recently, an elderly family member needed assistance in dealing with a leaking shower issue and the anticipated complete replacement of his fifty year old shower. We contacted several contractors who provided quotes which would have been financially challenging for our family member. We also contacted Abraham Samara at Popular Bathroom, who came out and looked at the shower and listened to us as we discussed our situation. Abraham pointed out that he could do a complete replacement, but he also provided us with other options which would be much less expensive than a total replacement. In addition, Abraham explained that, to help save money for our family member, we could purchase certain shower parts on-line, which would be easier on the pocketbook. We accepted Abraham's bid and coordinated with him moving forward. During our involvement with Popular Bathroom, we found the interaction to be outstanding. Between Abraham and Judy, who was in the Popular Bathroom office, we were always able to get any questions answered promptly. Abraham and Judy were professional, courteous, easy to work with and willing to help in any way possible. During my very first contact with Abraham, he highlighted that he would always be available to to answer any questions which arose, as he felt communication was paramount in ensuring that the customer would always be satisfied with the final outcome. During the two days Popular Bathroom was onsite, Abraham, Victor and Manuel did a great job with the shower renovation. They were extremely attentive to the details of the project and were very accommodating when we inquired about possible changes to our original plan. We were very pleased with the final product and our family member now is enjoying what seems like a new shower. Even though Popular Bathroom would have made much more money doing a complete renovation of the shower, Abraham recognized that a complete renovation would have been a financial stretch for our family member. Instead, Abraham provided the perfect solution for us, followed through on everything promised and ultimately made sure we were all happy with the final outcome. We would recommend Popular Bathroom to others without hesitation. read more

I highly recommend Popular Bathroom. We had a design in mind for our powder room and Abraham and his crew, led by Victor, made our dream come true! My recommendation: highly recommend. Popular Bathroom (PB) offers competitive pricing, quality work and great customer service. This company was hired to repair a full shower wall. Communication from the start was effective and pleasant. (Judy, thank you so much for all your help in the communication sector.) Before and during the project, several questions were asked which PB answered timely, with responses that could be trusted. Our project started on time and finished on time. Workers were trustworthy, professional, and delivered quality work. The start date was later than I would have preferred but understood the reason. Once they start, they focus on the project at hand until complete. (There were no days where workers didn't show up, rescheduled, etc.) The project was managed regularly to ensure the work was getting done correctly and timely. It's tough to find contractors you can trust to deliver quality work and provide great customer service, so thankful to have connected with PB. Abraham, Judy and team, thank you for all the great work and making this process as smooth as possible. read more

Popular Bathroom did a complete renovation of both of my bathrooms, and the results are outstanding. Now I have bathrooms worthy of a fancy hotel, whereas previously they were a disgusting embarrassing mess. The owner, Abraham Samara, is a gem to work with. He is friendly, honest, professional, patient, and easy to talk to. His crew is highly skilled, reliable, and knowledgeable. There is no need to "babysit the job", the job will be done properly without management by the homeowner. In terms of value, the cost was appropriate for the amount of work required. I did not feel like I was overcharged for anything. If you are in need of a bathroom renovation you can do no better than Popular Bathroom. They specialize in just bathrooms and will do the work to your satisfaction. read more

I called to consider doing business with the company and the receptionist was extremely rude and disrespectful. Their customer service was nadir, I would never recommend this company to anyone. To add insult to injury, she hung up on me. There are far too many options to utilize a company that is so unprofessional. However, the owner did offer a formal apology for the shortcoming of his employer. read more

The Popular Bathroom team was fantastic to work with. We hired for a main bath remodel which required reworking of the layout. They were very efficient, reasonably priced, and have a passion for quality in their work - providing options that would be the best solution for the long term versus the easy way. Abraham is professional, friendly, and most-importantly, trustworthy. He and his team were extremely punctual and communicative. Victor did a fabulous job on the tile work. Judy was a hoot every time we spoke. We are very pleased with our new bathroom! read more

I highly recommend Abraham and his crew! They just finished completely redoing my bathrooms, tearing out all the old '80s stuff and modernizing it all. The finished results are beautiful, especially the tile work which is excellent. But what really makes them shine is the communication, organization, and attitude throughout the entire process. As a single woman working with contractors on my own, it's common to feel talked down to. That never happened with Abraham. He is respectful, honest, friendly, and an all around good person. He answered all my questions patiently, gave advice where I wanted it but never was pushy. Everyone in his crew was really nice as well. The price was fair and transparent right from the start. I have already recommended him to a friend, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else. read more

If you're tired of dealing w/ flaky, unreliable contractors who give you the run around, never call you when they're running late and every other excuse they give you! THIS IS THE COMPANY YOU NEED TO HIRE. YOU WILL NOT HAVE THAT PROBLEM W/ POPULAR BATH REMODELS. After looking at several companies I made an inquire for an appointment w/ Popular Bathroom. Their response was quick. The owner Abraham met w/ me to look at the 2 bathrooms take measurements and go over details so he could give me a written estimate. Abraham listened to everything I was wanted in both bathrooms. He is very professional, easy to talk, and he specializes in bathrooms. I felt really comfortable w/ him. Abraham emailed me my estimate and it felt like fair price to me, so he set up a construction date, we went over the payments he requested. Deposit, which was resonable. Pay this much after demolition, this much after that and so on. Very structured. Everything on paper before we even start. David is the worker who did both my bathrooms. I have to say he is one of the hardest workers I've seen in a very long time! He knows his trade!!! David is on time everyday and was never late. He will ask you questions just to verify how you like your tile placed and other little options you might of forgotten about or did not think about! Abraham checks in and out throughout the project. If you call him, and have a question and he's not available, he will return your call as soon as he is They did a spectacular job on the 2 bathrooms in the condo. Super clean job! What can I say that hasn't already been said about Abraham and his team at Popular Bathroom? If I could give more stars I would. Abraham is the most professional, knowledgeable and friendliest person my wife and I have had working at our house. Earlier last year we had mold in our shower. After it was remediated we went through the normal business of getting quotes as well as a sense of the work. Our walls and floor were tiled and, since the bathroom was close to 20 years old, every company we met with said we needed to drywall the walls and replace the floor. Most of the quotes (save one insanely expensive company) were in the same range. We weren't sold on any company and decided to keep looking. Luckily, I then saw Popular Bathroom on Yelp. My wife and I booked an appointment with Abraham and knew within five minutes he was our guy. He walked us through all of the work we needed and explained it to us in a way that was easy to understand. The clincher was that he said he could reuse some of the tile from the wall to replace the missing pieces on the floor. He was the only person that said that. Abraham's quote was reasonable but the best part about it was how the payments were structured based on the stages of work completed. We could see it all laid out so that we knew where we were in the process. He explained all additional costs such as permits and the 3rd party vendor for the shower enclosure, door, hardware and handles. The main deviation from the bid was that we decided to put in a recessed medicine cabinet which required additional electrical and plumbing work. Abraham quickly provided a quote which we accepted and we didn't have an overage. We bought most of the materials for the remodel (shower tile, all fixtures, vanity, medicine cabinet, etc) and Abraham was great in providing an extra opinion on whether or not they fit in well to the proposed new look. He could explain the pros and cons (cons mainly being additional work costs), helping us make informed decisions. With his vast experience, there's nothing Abraham hasn't seen and no problem that he couldn't overcome to accomplish any bathroom remodel on any property. The crew he works with he's known a long time. Through experience, he's been able to figure out what each person was best at and encouraged them to focus on it. So when he sends his plumber out, or his electrical, or his painter, or his drywall guy etc. you know you're getting great value and quality work. We plan to use Abraham and Popular Bathroom again for my mother-in-law's house and never hesitate to recommend him to anyone we know looking for someone to remodel a bathroom. read more

Abraham and Popular Bathroom did 3 projects at my house. I have posted 2 Yelp reviews for the first 2 projects previously but neither of them showed up due to Yelp algorithm flagging my reviews as irrelevant (I don't write many reviews!) Anyway, the last project Popular Bathroom did was a kitchen renovation and I wanted to try one last time to give Abraham and Popular Bathroom their much deserved rave review! I found Popular Bathroom on Yelp and selected them because of all the stellar reviews that they had received for their work but also reviews for Abraham being a really nice guy. I can attest that they really do great work and Abraham is a really really nice guy! The first project Abraham did for me was a complete renovation of our Master Bathroom. The second project was a complete renovation of a small guest Bathroom. The most recent project was a renovation of our kitchen. They all came out so beautiful! This time, I decided to post before and after pictures because I think they speak volumes of the quality of their work! read more

Popular Bathroom led my remodel. Abraham was very easy to work with and I was always able to get ahold of him quickly with any questions I had. I appreciated that he took the time to walk me through all the details and set me at ease during my first major renovation project. We've spent the last year designing, planning and finally renovating our master bathroom and guest bathroom. Because of my attention to details, the whole thing has been quite an ordeal, but I am happy to say that, thanks to Avi and his team at Popular Bathroom (PB), the experience has been positive and we are very pleased with the results. Our goal was to renovate a "vintage" master bathroom and guest bathroom from a 90's townhome on the Westside. Central to our problem was to relocate a toilet and a bathtub, in order to enlarge a walk-in shower, which is a real challenge on the second floor of a townhome. For this purpose, I have interviewed no less than 17 contractors. Why such overkill? These are expensive projects, there are many ways to approach the problem, and I have no experience in construction. I just needed that much information to educate myself, learn how to spot the clowns amongst the real contractors, and identify those who overcharge. Here's why I chose PB. 1) The owner, Avi, spent 90 minutes during our first meeting, discussing our options for improving the bathroom. He explained how to avoid overcharges, and was willing to go into deep technical explanation regarding how to renovate. A lot of what he said was echoed by the handful of other candidates that appeared the most serious to me. He exhibited a lot of professional credibility, showed that he understood my requirements, and he's just very skilled at interpersonal skills. 2) A lot of contractors offer design services, and therefore end up charging twice as much. With PB, we had to do the design work ourselves (i.e. choosing tiles, bathtub, mirrors, vanity, countertop, coming up with a new layout, etc.), which is fine because it's the fun work from my perspective. It's time consuming, but the result is way more personal and, more importantly, affordable. 3) PB focuses on bathrooms, which was very important to me, because it means their staff is exceptionally experienced at building bathrooms. 4) Finally, when comparing BP's pricing to other contractors, I found the pricing fair. I wouldn't call it affordable (no contractor was), but I didn't feel like I was being gouged. Also, Avi had transparent pricing and a detailed project plan. Almost nobody does that on the Westside, as far as I can tell. What I liked about Avi is that he's figured out his operations. You can expect to have his crew show up at your place on time, and really make some progress week after week. I also liked that he's very flexible. At some point, my countertop guys (who didn't work for Avi) messed up and a new countertop had to be installed. This stopped all work for a couple of weeks. I got not complaints from Avi. He's also impressed me with his willingness to make us happy. I think we've been pretty demanding customers, and he's been totally dedicated to our satisfaction, re-touching certain parts of the work, willing to discuss how to fix an installation problem many times until we found a solution that satisfied us and that was reasonable to execute. He also agreed to fix a couple of other small things that didn't have to do with the project, but that were convenient to do because they involved tiling and painting. We have enjoyed the bathroom over the past six months. The shower is amazing and doesn't leak, unlike its predecessor. The tiles are well aligned and very plumb. So is the floor. Avi has handled pulling all the permits and passing all the inspections. We're ecstatic with the results. Big kudos to Victor for tiling so well. And thank you, Avi, for being such a reliable partner. read more

Our second bathroom needed a total remodel. Popular bathroom did a fantastic job in just a couple of weeks. Abraham was very professional & courteous. Abraham and his crew did an awesome job with our project. We were moving into a new home and wanted to update all the vanities. They worked well with our changing schedule (since we were have flooring replaced too) and were very responsive and adaptable when we had issues with our vanities arriving on time. It's been over six months and there is still no leaks or any problems with the installation. They also went above and beyond cleaning out the lines from the kitchen sink to the exterior drain pipe. Unknown to us at the time, there was a severe clog that required exterior plumbing work to be done. Because of this clog, all the debris and grease from the previous owners had really reduced the diameter of the kitchen drain line. Abraham and his guys really cleaned it out, which made such a great difference. Their prices were also very reasonable and appropriate. He was also very transparent with his pricing. Abraham and his crew were also very polite, friendly and professional. I appreciate their work and look forward to reaching out to them when I need my next bathroom project done. read more

First things that come to mind about when leaving this review are words like: professional, expert, truth worthy, consultative, helpful, and resourceful. I met with several contractors after starting a project with a non reliable source and now being in time & financial crunch. Abraham aka "Avi" came out, looked at the scope of work, asked good questions, measured out the space & got a visual, and lastly made comments / suggestions. Others came out, talked to me and noticed I had other work around the house and were more worried about landing addiction projects or didn't even make the time to come out at all (virtual quote). Avi and his crew were easy to work with, he only hires tenured employees with good craftsmanship which shows in the final product. Communication is huge after dealing with someone who showed up as he liked and set my project behind, not Popular Bathroom they were very consistent and over communicated. This was a bathroom addition which is why there is no true before after pictures. When they took over my project it was just wood framing, a cement slab, rough plumbing & electrical. I can go on and on but overall I had a wonderful experience with the owner / company and cant wait for them to tackle my other bathroom! read more

This is our second review of Popular Bathroom and the owner Abraham as we first had a shower constructed and then a few months later had him finish that bathroom and our guest bathroom. He also remodeled a closet for a washer dryer combo which also served as a closet for the guest room. Again, Abraham was a pleasure to work with and everything came together beautifully. He helped us pick vanities that fit the spaces nicely. We decided to go with updated flooring which was installed perfectly. And then finish with painting and hardware and all details to complete the job. The real strength of Abraham is his constant communication and coordination as we had a tight schedule. His really excellent crew and his scheduling them as needed made the work flow just about perfectly. Thank you Abraham!! read more
