Over this past summer, Graceland Remodeling did three different projects for me with excellent results. I waited a while before I wrote this review to see if my opinion changed after the shiny newness wore off, but it hasn't. I am very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. Originally, I was only going to use Graceland Remodeling to replace the gutters on my house, but as I watched them prep my neighbor's house to paint the exterior, you could see the attention to detail being taken. Besides a typical power washing and removing of light fixtures, other prep work included re-stuccoing around the entire house, making a 3" trench below the ground level of the house to paint that area, and clearing any items that may be in the way to create the trench. These details caused me and another neighbor to get our houses painted too because we were both going to get it done sooner than later. With three houses now being painted, Sean (the owner), had two full crews at our houses simultaneously, and all three homes were done in a timely manner while still doing a quality job. Once the painting was completed, the three of us then had our gutters replaced. A 6" deep gutter was used (over the original 4" gutters) to have more of a catch basin because of our tile roofs. It took a full day for the gutters to be completed. The third project was to change my electrical panel from 100 amps to 200 amps. Again, they did another quality job, including stuccoing and repainting the area around the electrical panel. You can't tell where it was patched. Besides the actual work, Sean had excellent communication with me and my neighbors almost daily. He would frequently show up on-site to check up on the progress and work, and make sure any changes or corrections were done if needed. Whenever we had conversations, he remembered what we discussed and followed through to pass on the information to the crew. Sean was also very responsive when needing to get in touch with him by text or phone call. One last thing to note is after every day of work, the crew would do a good job of cleaning up any mess that was made. This may seem like not a big deal, but at times there was a lot of debris, and even when there wasn't, it was nice to see the care taken. For any future work I may need done, Graceland Remodeling will be at the top of my list. read more

I'd give Graceland Remodeling a zero but that's not an option. I really question who's writing these reviews. Scheduled for a quote, the PM called day of appointment and asked to reschedule. On the day of the second appointment the PM called asking for a later time in the day. This was an inconvenience for me, but I agreed. Fifteen minutes after the 2nd appointment time, no call and no one showed up. I called the PM and told him no thanks. I expected the PM to say sorry he's late, stuck in traffic, 10 minutes from the house... Nothing, he really didn't seem to care. I emailed Graceland in June telling them what had happened. Crickets, never heard back from them, but I'm on their spam list now and there isn't a Remove Me button. read more

After requesting a quote via Yelp few months back. Diane tried to reach me via phone and massages non stop until I answered and scheduled a meeting. Everything went well until that point. The sales guy showed up and I showed him exactly what I wanted to be done and he said I'll have a quote in my email in a couple of days. He didn't measure or took pictures of anything and claimed he can get all the information he needed from google. A few days passed by and I never heard from the guy, Ofir, so I called him. Didn't answer and I left a voicemail. Never called me back. A day after I called again and sent a text no response to any. I then called Diane and shared the situation and asked her to make sure Ofir will contact me back because I still didn't receive any quote or response. She assured he will contact me and provide a quote. Up until this moment no one ever got back to me either Diane or Ofir. I'm extremely disappointed and won't recommend anyone to use this company. I had a great big project that I needed professionals to handle unfortunately this company is definitely not a good fit. read more

I just finished my project of fixing the water leak in a basement bedroom that had water damage from hill water intrusion. Kevin brought his best crew because he knew this job needed expert analysis of how best to fix so it doesn't happen again. company warranties it's water leak for 5 years which gave me some comfort. we decided to do the French Drain System which requires an expert. the crew were very cordial and communicated with me regularly by sending pictures of job progress as this was underneath the house and I couldn't really see. but pictures and consult throughout the job made me very impressed and I would highly recommend a consult with Kevin and his team. I was so fortunate to find this company to start a very small bathroom remodel. I have never used another. They gutted my front and back yard. They replaced all my heartwood floors. They remodeled my kitchen and bathrooms. Canned lighting with ceiling fans in rooms. Roof work, new hot water heaters. New driveway and concrete patio. In all I have hired this company at least 10 times. The work is professional and high quality. The last thing they did was to have to install ramps and railings due to my health issues. He was punctual, polite , and not pushy/salesman. Listened to my concerns and gave reasonable ideas to making them happen. Gave me a quote next day. It wasn't itemized by labor/materials but rather a bundle quote. His price was competitive compared to 2 other quotes I received. Project was given 3 weeks and finished in 1.5 weeks. Needed just what I asked for and David and his team delivered, thank you Miguel, Rafael and their team. Just asked for laundry area underneath staircase and make standing shower in main bathroom, I was on a budget and they made it happen. Paid in installments based on completion of work detailed in contract. Always had fast communication with David via text/call. Update to previous review....I like Sean a lot as a general contractor. I think he exceeds the normal role of a contractor by having good communication and follows up on what he promises. However, we just got wrapped up in a project that I think went a little sideways mainly by the engineer. We sought out to do a roof top deck renovation and the project took quite some time and is still not quite off the ground running. I wish it would have been smoother. My recommendation is to really look at the engineer you are hiring for the job as they can really make or break the project for you. At the end of the day, Sean's quote came in more expensive than 4 other bids I had for the same job. The job became more extensive in the labor and foundation department than was originally discussed. read more

They completely remodeled my kitchen, including redoing the flooring that the original flooring installers messed up. And where those ideas were impractical, they provided great alternatives.
