I wrote an initial one star review several months ago. I deleted it after this company called me and asked me to delete it. At the time I did it because honestly I just wanted to forget that I ever hired them. At the time, instead of offering me to fix the terrible job they did they just offered me a GrubHub gift card! I rejected it and decided to move on. However, after learning from an actual fireplace and fire pit professional that there is no good fix and that i should just rebuild, I decided to write this review again to save other people the trouble of working with this guys. I hired them on the spot and that was my first mistake. Paying in full, upfront was my second mistake. But the worst mistake was trusting that they knew what they were doing. After assuring me several times that they've built fire pits before, with a bit of uneasyness, I let them complete the work. The fire pit never worked. Low flame, soot and smoke smell, no proper airflow, difficult to turn on, cracks on the stone... Just a TERRIBLE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS mistake. Please, if you want a fire pit, walk away from "Teamwork" remodeling and hire an actual professional.

Rafi and his team did a superb and professional job on my new gutter, paver, and patio enclosure project. They are very responsive in addressing any corrections or adjustments needed in a both a timely and quality fashion. I will strongly recommend their work for anyone in need of enhancing the values of their property.

Hired Teamwork to re do our bathroom, not just remodel but basically complete renovation. Met with Ron whom laid out the plan, cost, time frame and my wife and I were thoroughly impressed. We hired them, they got to work very quickly and great communication. The project manager David was there every step of the way with any questions or concerns we had. The final product is marvelous, we went from an old, run down bathroom to a modern, stunning bathroom and more than anything, our kids whom the bathroom was redone for love it. Highly recommend

This group renovated a very small downstairs bathroom for us. We were quoted four days to complete the entire job. It took over a month. We were quoted an extremely high price, but for a very short timeline we were willing to pay. Obviously that didn't happen. We had to purchase every single piece that was placed in our bathroom including tile, vanity, lighting. This made the price even higher. Ilan, The project manager, is all talk. He promises to show up and does not keep his promise. Sometimes the workers would come for two hours and not come again for four or five days. The quality of work was extremely poor. The edges of the tile look like a toddler cut them. This company was willing to leave every aspect of this unless we mentioned it to have it redone. I would recommend finding another group for any renovation.

Wow, this team did an incredible job on our living room remodel! Nimi and his team were fast, efficient, and respectful of our detailed requests. His team was able to start on our project the very next day after our initial consultation! Very rare to find. We had a tight timeline and he was confident they could get it done on time. We did have an initial hiccup regarding the communication of additional costs upfront, but we worked it out and it was resolved quickly. I'd highly recommend Nimi and his team to do any remodel project. We will probably hire them again to do our kitchen and bathroom sometime in the future. Thanks again to the Teamwork Remodeling Team. We love our new home.

Sorry but work is falling apart. It's been a month and getting worse Paint is pealing, tapes are coming apart. Very disappointing in workmanship. Subcontractors didn't know what they were doing I guess.

My style is, Farmhouse Chic decor.

It's May 2023. Two years later, the surface of the bathroom still looks great, but I've had about $1000 plus dollars worth of plumbing problems from the poor plumbing work and water damage. The bathtub faucet has come off twice. I had to pay to fix that. I suspect it's not sealed properly because water sprays into the wall when the faucet comes off. I'm just now having the toilet flange and wax ring replaced. It was too old and rusty when they updated the bathroom, but they failed to tell me, didn't replace anything, AND didn't seal the hole properly, so now I have wood damage and they will likely have to pull up the pretty floor to fix the moist, damaged wood. It was a recipe for disaster, and any professional should have seen that. I changed my rating to a 3 because all the problems definitely take away from the overall experience and value for the cost.

They were a nightmare. The $200k renovation was scheduled to last 8 - 10 weeks. It took them one year plus.

The entire team is amazing and while big home projects are often stressful, Sharon and his team made it a positive experience. The biggest thing for me was that they were able to complete the work (including clean-up) within the timeframe we agreed on. When we consulted Sharon with our project, he had a "can do" mindset and really listened to what I wanted while also giving solid advice. I've had bad luck with contractors before and been gaslit at times, but Sharon's approach of having an actual conversation and putting the customer first made us go with his team. While most remodels require you to acquire materials on your own, Sharon connected us with Tile and Shower door folks (and they also had nothing but good things to say about him). I appreciate how he'd always check in to make sure we have all the items ready (i.e. vanity, toilet, etc.), and he'd always drop in to check on the progress. Eddie and his team were absolute professionals and do everything with care and precision. Really liked how he'd always double-check things with us down to the smallest detail (e.g. paint colors, door hinges, etc.). Pricing, I'd say they're within average of the estimates we received. Totally worth it and highly recommend them. Next time I have another big project, I'm definitely reaching out to them.

Woodland Hills

Our kids are getting older, and we needed a little more space in the house. Our three kids were…read moresleeping in one little bedroom, and the kitchen was pretty cramped, with a bathroom tucked into a corner by the back door. We also had an outdoor concrete space that was not necessarily being used in the best way - it was a little workout area, sometimes we held birthday parties there, and we had our washer and dryer outside (but under the overhang.) Looking out over this concrete area was a window, from our office. We wanted to expand, but properly - and with all the necessary permits in place. When we first started looking to expand, we thought we could just enclose the concrete space and turn it into an extra room. A few contractors came out to look and said they could do it with some pre-fabricated paneling. AtoZ was the only company that said it would not be a good idea, and they declined our project. After we looked into it more we eventually realized the window from our office was a weird problem - it would open into this new room. We eventually contacted AtoZ again, and asked them to develop more detailed architectural plans - the cost of which could be applied to construction if we decided to use them, since they are a design and build company. Their design had us move the bathroom from the kitchen to a place by the new room entrance - thus expanding our kitchen. They moved the back door and got ride of the office window, turning the area into a hallway into the new room. Their designs made sense, and we ended up working with on the build, too. AtoZ helped get the paperwork done with the city - this was a huge relief as I had heard that Alhambra is a tough place to get the proper permits and paperwork completed. They estimated the work would take 4 months - and everyone I talked to said I should double that because contractors usually over promise. AtoZ finished everything in 3 months - yes, a whole month ahead of schedule. This was done while we stayed and lived in the house - we did not move out while they did their work. They were respectful of our property and our time. They worked hard and got the job done. The new room looks great! We moved our washer and dryer into the back of the kitchen area, and the kitchen still feels bigger. Overall, it feels like we can breathe again. There were a few little touches that I loved about their design and working with this company. They added a skylight to our office, and it has been amazing - it is so bright that the entire room feels bigger. I really appreciated the fact that they told me "no" when I requested certain things, but were very willing to work with me on others. I asked for a window in the new bathroom, but they said they could not and would not add one because it was a "sheer wall" and designed with earthquakes in mind - cutting a hole for a window would compromise the integrity of the wall. They guys said they needed to be able to sleep at night, knowing they built me a safe addition to my home. That is the kind of integrity that I appreciate - they were not willing to sacrifice that for a few more dollars. When made other requests late in the construction phase - namely adding skylights to the bathroom and kitchen - they agreed to install them to accommodate my late request, even though the kitchen was nearly done. They were also very safety oriented - when we caught COVID near the end of construction, they didn't send their guys in because they wanted their group to stay healthy and safe. AtoZ has been a pleasure to work with. This was my first time working with a contractor to do significant work to my home. Their workers were friendly, professional, hard working and trustworthy. There were times I had to leave the house, and they never ventured into areas without my consent. I was worried that I would have to slog through a couple of years of paperwork and construction, but from start to finish AtoZ was professional, friendly and up to the task. Thank you, Rami and Zack - and please thank the crew for us. We are very happy with our remodeled home!
