Mid-Project Review - AGA Construction We're officially about halfway through our kitchen and dining room renovation with AGA Construction, and we've been extremely happy with the experience and progress so far! This was a pretty extensive renovation that required taking the kitchen and dining area down to the bones. From the start, the AGA Construction team handled the demolition quickly and efficiently, and once everything was opened up, they immediately got to work on the important things you don't necessarily see in the finished product. In just about two weeks, they've tackled the major electrical and plumbing work, brought necessary items up to code, installed new recessed lighting, completed drywall, and have already started/completed the new flooring. It's pretty incredible looking back at the photos of the original kitchen, then seeing the walls and ceiling completely opened up, and now seeing an entirely new space beginning to take shape. A huge part of making the process go so smoothly has been our project manager, Micky. He has been great about guiding us through everything step by step, explaining what the team is working on, answering our questions, keeping us informed about what comes next, and helping us navigate all of the decisions that come with a renovation of this size. Having that communication has made a potentially stressful process feel much more manageable. We're only midway through the project, but it already feels like we've gotten through the hardest and least glamorous part--the demolition and all of the electrical, plumbing, code, drywall and infrastructure work behind the walls. Now we're getting to the exciting part where we can actually watch our new kitchen and dining room come together! So far, we've been very impressed with AGA Construction, Micky, and the entire crew for how quickly and efficiently they've kept everything moving while still keeping us informed throughout the process. These photos show just how much has changed already, from our original kitchen and dining room, through the demolition and behind-the-walls work, to where we are today. We can't wait to see the finished kitchen and dining room and will definitely be sharing an updated review once the entire project is complete! read more

Service Requested: I requested for a double floor California Room addition to existing home. I Had city plans approved and needed a construction company to follow plans for permitting Quality: They did a great job with materials and damage repairs. You couldn't even know that work was done for the existing house that needed to be reconstructed. stucco, framing, roofing, and foundational work were all nicely done. Value: priced reasonably and the workmanship matched the value. Customer Service: Could not be beat. Mickey was in charge of our project and he was always prompt to answer questions, quick to address any issues, always checked in on us to see how things were going with the project. His foreman Renel was also professional and made sure things ran smoothly. I have hired several construction companies that were crappy and didn't bother rehiring but will certainly rehire AGA for future projects because they are honest, dependable, and transparent. Communication was great and they really went out their way to make sure we were happy customers and build a relationship with their customers. Time: we were quoted at 3-4 months and took about that time. We did hit some periods of rain but they were able to complete majority of work within time frame. Overall impression: would definitely recommend this company to friends. Honest, quality work, ano dependable. Project passed final inspection. They collaborated well with the city read more

Great and highly recommended construction company! We are truly impressed with the quality of work and professionalism that Lior and his team provided. Yelp recommended them to me for my specific project of some small framing of a fireplace cavity, drywall and mudding to match surrounding wall. Spoke to their rep about project, I had a couple quotes already between $600-800 so I already had an idea of what it should or could cost and they said they only take projects that are at least $5000 in scope and would do it for the $5000 minimum. I think if they're going to be yelp recommended for a wide range of projects, they need to lower their minimum price. read more

Complete Townhouse Remodel and Renovation - South Gate, California. Project Manager: Eran Jeda. The Beginning of the Project. When I first decided to take on a full remodel of my townhouse in South Gate, I knew it would be a major undertaking, AGA Construction exceeded my expectations in every possible way. From the first consultation to the final walkthrough, the team delivered top-notch workmanship, professionalism, and integrity. I had met with several contractors before finding AGA Construction, but what immediately set the apart was the clear communication, organized planning, and genuine enthusiasm they showed for my project. From the moment project manager Eran Jeda stepped into the house, I felt confident that I was in excellent hands. Eran took the time to listen carefully to my vision, my needs, and even my concerns about budget and timeline. He didn't just offer a sales pitch - he provided thoughtful recommendations backed by experience and creativity. Design, Planning, and Transparency. The planning process with AGA Construction was seamless. Eran Jeda personally coordinated every detail, from the architectural plans and design concepts to the permits and scheduling. What impressed me the most was his ability to balance aesthetics with practicality. He respected my budget but still managed to incorporate high- end finishes that elevated the entire space. Eran's communication was outstanding throughout the project. I always knew what was happening, when it would happen, and who would be on site. He sent daily updates, photos, and progress notes - a level of transparency that gave me complete peace of mind. every question I had was answered promptly and thoroughly, and every concern was handled with professionalism and care. Quality of Work and Craftsmanship. The quality of AGA Construction's workmanship is truly exceptional. My townhouse was completely transformed - from outdate and cramped to modern, open, and elegant. The kitchen redesign is a showstopper: sleek cabinetry, flawless quartz countertops, and beautiful lighting that makes the space feel warm and inviting. The bathrooms were gutted and rebuilt with spa-like finishes. Eran Jeda personally inspected the work at every phase. His eye for detail is remarkable. If something wasn't 100% right, he made sure it was corrected immediately - no excuses, no delays. His pride in his work and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident every single day. The crew he managed was equally skilled, respectful, and professional. They kept the worksite clean and organized, which made a huge difference in the overall experience. Communication and Professionalism. One of the biggest challenges in any renovation is communication, but with Eran leading the project, there were never any surprises. He was proactive, honest, and incredibly organized. He coordinated seamlessly with electricians, plumbers, and inspectors, ensuring that every stage moved forward efficiently. Even when unexpected issues arose (as they often do in older homes), Eran handled them swiftly and with a positive attitude. What really stood out was how much Eran genuinely cared about the outcome. He treated my home as if it were his own, always suggesting the best materials and construction methods to ensure long-term quality. It's rare to find someone so passionate about their work and so dedicated to delivering perfection. The Final Result and Overall Experience. Now that the renovation is complete, I can honestly say that my townhouse is fells like a brand-new home. Every person who walks through the door is amazed at the transformation. The beautiful flooring, the modern kitchen, and the cohesive design all flow perfectly - exactly as envisioned, and perhaps even better. I owe much of that success to Eran Jeda and his meticulous oversight. His ability to combine creativity, technical expertise, and leadership made all the difference. AGA Construction truly delivered on every promise - on time, on budget, and with impeccable quality. If you're considering any remodel or renovation, large or small, I wholeheartedly recommend AGA Construction, Inc. And if you have the opportunity to work with their project manager Eran Jeda, consider yourself lucky. He is professional, personable, and incredibly talented. My experience was outstanding from start to finish, and I will absolutely use and recommend AGA Construction, Inc. again for future projects. Jose Blanco South Gate, California. read more

Sorry, Ari, but no. We went with someone else 1: Because we went with the manufacturer of the doors to do the installation as they had to be built on site due to the custom sizing, which is just smart...money not a factor. 2: because aside from the (1) wood stain sample that we liked, the other samples were of poor quality (you could see right through the orange paint samples) and we suspected that might be a reflection of other work. Money had no bearing on any of this. We did not call you to "repair" any work. We called for NEW, i.e., work that hadn't yet been done, because we liked (1) of the wood stain samples that Eran had provided. You can cover for Eran all you want, he came into our house not happy from the get go, as he was still salty we didn't choose to go with him in the fist place. Anne should have never sent him back to us knowing full well he had no intention of accepting the job. She should have instead sent over another PM or none at all. We didn't need to call you guys to provide more work for you. And trust me, we will never will, nor will any one who ever asks us for a recommendation. He came into our home and was rude. We recently worked with Micky and his team at AGA construction for our kitchen remodel and are very happy with how it turned out! We believe they were very fair with pricing when comparing to other quotes we received and felt Micky understood and executed our goals when it came to our project. They completed the project on time based on the timeline provided and proactively kept us in the loop with how the project was progressing. We were on a bit of a deadline with a new baby on the way and they made the timing work. This was our first major project in our home and Micky was also always available for questions and to ease any concerns we may have had. The work his team did was beautiful and we are so happy with how our new kitchen turned out and we would recommend AGA Construction! We also want to shoutout Joaquin on the team who was at our house most of the project and did amazing work! read more

We started the process of building our detached ADU at the beginning of 2022. We hired an Architect, who drew up a plan to build a 1200 sq ft, 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom house. After 14 months of waiting and addressing revisions required by the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety we got our permit in "Ready to Issue" status. While waiting for city approval, we all started looking for a fair, reliable and honest contractor who would do good/solid construction. We started the process of interviewing contractors and getting bids for the job. After several meetings and several bids, we met Micky Kanian with "AGA Construction". We found Micky on Yelp. One of his references took us thru an ADU that Micky and team built for his elderly mother-in-law to live in. This family could not say enough good things about Micky and team. They took us thru the property and explained their experience in great detail. We saw another beautiful AGA project, a 5k sq ft + project that was in progress and really knew that day that we'd found our contractor. We weren't quite ready to pull the trigger for personal reasons, so we put the project on hold. Meanwhile, we continued to collect a couple of other bids that were already in progress. During this process, AGA kept in touch with us. They checked in every few weeks or so, without being pushy or intrusive. After a delay of about 9 months, we decided to move forward with AGA construction. No one is a tougher critic than me. I was dreading this project because of the amount of stress that I knew we'd be under. Both financially and mentally. We've all heard and/or lived thru the horror of a construction project gone wrong. I won't bury the lead any further. We love our ADU!!!!! We started the project on Jan 31st of 2024. We were told that the project would take 6-8 months. We lost the first 6 weeks or so with the heavy rains from last year, but even with that delay, we were mostly done with the project by the middle of August. We ran into the "expected" unknowns and surprises - all dealt with fairly and quickly by Micky and team. I would like to call out Joachin who was amazing. We always felt like we were in the best of qualified hands during this entire process. All inspections were signed off, the last checks were written, and we now have a gorgeous new home behind the main house on that property. We were so happy with the project and trusted Micky and Joachin so much, that we immediately launched a second project of gutting and renovating a very large master bathroom for my In-Laws. That job started on September 23rd and was done the first or second week of November as promised. It would've been done sooner, but we had a little "client indecision" that cost us about a week or two. All in all, I would highly recommend Micky and his crew, and we plan to use them for as long as they are in business or until my family and I run out of projects. read more

Micky and his team came to our new home to help us pull down some load bearing walls and open our space. I felt safe and secure right away with Micky. Like he could handle anything and knew the right questions and process. We were trying to save money at the time, and I remember Micky asking me "what do you really really want, and let's figure out how to get there." The work was great and the finished product is quality. read more

Eran @ AGA was my contractor to remodel my kitchen. I cannot express how great it has been working with him. I have had other rooms in my house remodeled as well as general updating with different contractors and Eran is the BEST. I really believe some of the other contractors/companies I previously worked with, disrespected me because I am a woman. I had to just stop interacting with them and let my husband handle it. Only rec'd the utmost respect from Eran and his crew. I am very happy with my new kitchen. Price was very competitive. Was referred to him by my son and his wife. He did their kitchen also and it is beautiful. Thank-You AGA! read more

We met with Lior Perez on June 1st 2023 to discuss a kitchen Reno job. While telling him the things we wanted he had several suggestions that were not originally in our plan but we are so happy we went with his ideas of taking down our dining room wall & putting in a new wall to make our laundry room separate. Lior and his crew started on July 6th, in 1 full day our kitchen was completely gutted & on its way to updated & beautiful. Throughout the project Lior always responded to our questions & concerns in a timely matter. The crew of men working were always friendly & worked hard. Our kitchen was finished 2 and a half weeks earlier than projected in the contract & we now have a gorgeous kitchen that is beyond my expectations, we are more than thrilled to get to enjoy this perfect new space. Thankful & Grateful for Lior & his team. read more

They built an ADU for me and at the end everything worked out better than expected. They have a crew that works hard and it shows.

We chose to work with AGA Construction to renovate our bathroom because we had a great experience with them 3 years ago when they remodeled our kitchen (I still love it!) The bathroom is beautiful. We are very pleased with the design and with the very professional work. Also, they were responsive to my questions and concerns, giving me quick answers and explanations as well as helping in determining several changes in the plans. It was a great experience, and I will use them to build my guest house in the future. Thank you, AGA, to all the team from the project manager to the ladies at the office for a great experience. read more

I had the contractor from hell and was in desparate need of a professional. My daughter found AGA Construction on YELP and Eron was a god-sent! He takes his job seriously, makes sure everything is done correctly, and offers a more than fair price. Another thing that I love is the constant communication and supervising of the jobs. Because he is so amazing I have had a lot of jobs done by them (pool, pavers, bathroom, lighting, new roof, french drain, waterproofing, fireplace, etc.) and everything I have had done has come out perfectly. I'm very happy with Eron and AGA Construction and would give them 10 stars if I could! read more

We worked with AGA Construction on a partial home remodel (including kitchen, bathroom, and other areas). As first-time homebuyers, this was also our first renovation work! I made a call to AGA based on a friend's recommendation, and they quickly arranged for one of their project managers to meet me at the house and discuss our ideas. I'm so glad they sent Guy! From our first meeting, I had confidence that AGA could handle our projects (big and small). As the project manager, Guy helped us define the scope the project and was ALWAYS accessible and responsive. Guy was onsite most days and texted me photo updates to keep me informed. The electrician, plumber, tile specialist, paving/hardscaping, and other workers he brought in did an excellent job. They worked quickly and well, and always left the job site tidy. Guy at AGA is a master of managing the schedule--and the client! I really appreciate how well he communicated with me about decisions that needed to be made (and by when). If you've done remodels/renovations before, you know how many decisions and purchases there are to make, and it can get overwhelming. Having Guy as our PM meant that the work progressed very smoothly (and especially it meant that my indecision did not delay the work either). Finally, I always felt that Guy had our best interests in mind. When surprises popped up (as they tend to do when you open a wall!), Guy was great about presenting us options (and how much they would cost) so we could make a decision. The bulk of our initial project was done on a tight timeline, and the AGA team completed it on time for us to move in to our new house when our lease was up. We ended up adding a few additional smaller projects on the end because we were so pleased with AGA's work. The AGA main office was also responsive in answering questions about invoices and other matters (thanks, Tami!). Regardless of the size of your project, I'd recommend giving AGA a call (ask for Guy)! read more

I had them remodel two bathrooms in 2017 and w the movement we have in the Valley I had two tiles crack. Tami remembered me and offered to send two people out to do the repair. We would caution anyone to be aware of Joshua and Mickey at this company. They over promised and under performed big time. Our yard was left a mess after they did the work and it cost us $2500 to have it cleaned up and put back together. The work is shoddy, at best. We have nail heads showing, cracked tiles and flooring that is loose and not installed correctly(after we had to fight with them to do the work we paid for on the flooring). They left nails all over our home and we have to have that stucco replaced in the near future. Grout is missing and loose in our bathroom. The electric in our shed was done incorrectly and we had to have it redone. Paint spots are missing all over the interior walls they were supposed to paint. It was just a poor effort by a shady group. They used to be "supreme remodeling" and had so many issues it appears they changed their name. Buyer beware! I kept all the e mails and receipts from this company, just in case they try dispute the poor performance. read more

We hired AGA Construction in February 2022, and I am so glad we did! We met with multiple contractors, but Eran from AGA Construction really impressed us with his knowledge, experience, and professionalism. Eran's excellent communication, daily updates, and quality workmanship made this entire experience easy and enjoyable. I have extraordinarily high standards and Eran's attention to detail was impeccable and very appreciated. AGA was on time, courteous, followed all of our HOA's rules, able to accommodate our last minute requests and add-ons, and they kept our home and common areas tidy during our remodel. Eran and AGA also helped us obtain all of the permits we needed, and we passed our electrical, plumbing, and structural inspections with flying colors. I can't recommend Eran and AGA enough. We will definitely be hiring AGA for all of our future home renovation projects! read more

We wanted to add a loft in our high-ceiling living room condo. AGA Construction stood out from many other builders regarding the contract and project task breakdown, scheduling, billing, and frequent communications throughout the execution. I called AGA Construction to schedule a free consultation for a Room Addition. The representative that scheduled the appointment was very knowledgeable and ask many questions and even offer us a design. The day after we met with the company representative which seemed very professional and not pushy. He sent us a detailed estimate via email (which was not the highest yet not the lowest). Out of four estimates we had, we chose to work with AGA Construction because of their professionalism, great communication and availability. Even though the process was long, we are very happy with the addition to our house. I highly recommend using them. read more

AGA finished our kitchen a couple of months ago. Per my earlier post, it turned out beautiful. Recently, I needed an electrician to replace a bathroom switch in our condo and contacted Eran from AGA to ask for a referral to one of their electricians. I used AGA Construction to remodel my guest bathroom, and would highly recommend them to others. I ended up going with them because they were the most punctual, professional, and organized throughout the consultation & estimate process, and I liked that they were a combined design-build firm, so the project manager would see the whole project through from start to finish. Plus, their estimate was in line with others, and they came highly recommended by a co-worker who'd recently worked with them. I'd intended to do the remodel in June ,2019 but then had to push the timeline to December 2019 which they were able to accommodate without an issue. Other things I appreciated were that: the team cleaned up the work area at the end of each day, so I never walked into a mess after work. As for the project outcome: the bathroom used to have a tiny (32x32") shower, ugly beige tile that was difficult to clean, and an even uglier glass block window. I'm really happy with the improvements! read more

I would like to start this review by saying just how easy this company is to work with. My husband and I have been bored of our master bedroom and bathroom for quite a while and we finally decided it's time for a revamp. We reached out to AGA and instantly fell in love with our project manager Guy. He came and gave us a quote and he went over every single one of our questions as thoroughly as possible. From that first meeting, we instantly knew that AGA was who we had to go with, we have never encountered another construction company that is so professional. Once we got the ball rolling on the remodel, everything went exactly as Guy told us it would. He was extremely professional the entire time and always a phone call away if we ever had a question. I am so in love with our new bedroom and bathroom that I never want to leave my house! A million thanks to the amazing team that AGA has put together. You guys are truly remarkable. read more

We needed our kitchen renovated and interviewed several contractor/construction companies and choose AGA Construction because they were licensed and bonded and we felt Ilan was honest and wanted to perform quality work. Another reason we chose AGA Construction was their willingness to pull the necessary permits for the job. Many of the contractors that we received quotes from strongly suggested we not pursue permits because it caused "unnecessary hassles". The last reason we choose AGA was because they created a 3-D visualization of what the new kitchen would look like. Before we committed to AGA, we met with Ilan's custom cabinet builder Ethan. Ethan created the visualization and worked with us to design the right kitchen layout. When we choose AGA the quote included everything but appliances, floor and backsplash tile and the sink/sink fixtures The job consisted of a total kitchen and laundry area renovation. We repositioned the stove and exhaust, the kitchen sink/plumbing, replacing the linoleum floor with tile, added a new window above the new sink location, installed custom cabinets, new laundry hookups, replaced our standard water heater with a tankless gas water heater, installed a glass tile backsplash, and installed a caesarstone countertop. They also ended up taking down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room and also created a new doorway opening the laundry area to the den in the next room. The original timeline for the project was 3 months, the project ended up taking 5 months because of permit approval delays, work additions we requested, and finally because the under cabinet outlets that we wanted needed to be ordered by the electricians, manufactured and shipped from out of state. On our job, AGA subcontracted the electrical, plumbing, cabinet manufacturing, and countertop fabrication/installation. The crew was respectful and cleaned up after themselves daily and locked up at the end of the day. Ilan stopped by every week to check on the progress. AGA even provided a porta potty for the workers to use on the job, which we appreciated. As with any construction job, nothing goes completely smoothly. There were some problems with the installation of the tile floor. We showed Ilan the problem areas and without hesitation, he called in another more experienced tile guy to fix our floor. He took the necessary steps to make sure that we were satisfied with the work and that the problems with the floor were fixed. Ilan had our best interests in mind and tried hard to save us money by giving his expert opinions and presenting all the available options of how to solve problems. The two reasons that the job went longer then estimated were inspector related problems that held up work that needed to be finished before Ilan could move on to other aspects of the job. And we had to wait for the custom under cabinet power strips to be manufactured and installed. Ilan at AGA is very focused on customer service and will go out of his way to make you happy. Ilan was always available through phone and text message whenever we had questions. Ilan always listened to our concerned and did everything in his power to fix whatever problem we had. He even gave us a lifetime warranty on the work and promised to come back and fix the backsplash grout that was beginning to crack a few weeks after installation. Ilan told us when we first met him that he would "save us from the rest of the contractors", and we are happy we choose AGA and would recommend them in the future. read more

AGA Construction was a joy to work with from start to finish. We did a full kitchen remodel along with all new floors, paint, windows and doors through out the entire house. We also redid all of the stone work for around our fireplace, removed popcorn ceilings and redid all our electrical work/added lighting. Ron was professional and attentive the entire time. He gave us suggestions that would give us the most "bang for our buck" without trying to upsell or add unnecessary things to our project. When demolition first started, we were immediately impressed by how quickly and efficiently the team of workers moved. They not only were efficient, but very kind and courteous. We always trusted them alone in our home without worry. As with any renovation, there were a few hiccups with things like materials being backordered. Ron made sure he was able to work around these issues and get other aspects of the job completed during that time instead of waiting and doing nothing until it arrived. Overall, they made our renovation as stress free as possible, and provided quality work and materials as well. We look forward to hiring them again to do our bathroom remodels. read more
