I over see a commercial building with 16 units of flat roofing material. The owner was tired of doing patch work and constantly having issues whenever it rained . We wanted a solution that wasn't putting a bandage over and over again. MK builders gave us a good quote on a TPO roofing system . We liked the manufacture and after doing research from the other roofing companies I felt most at ease with Robert and Richard . They were a pleasure to work with and updated me step by step from when the permits were pulled to , demo and inspections . Job was completed within the scope and timeline they gave me . This is a family run business but are true professionals in what they do. They handle their clients with great customer service from start to finish . I whole heartedly recommend MK builders to anyone who needs help with their roof. Reach out to them and see for yourself! read more

I was told by one of my friends to give these guys a call if we needed an estimate for a re roof since they used them before. I was helping my parents with their apartment complex and we knew it was time to replace the entire roof. We got five bids before deciding to go with MK Builders. My initial visit with Richard and Robert went very well as they were prompt and very detailed. We got a bid the next day and based on our friends references along with our conversations we felt at ease with them. We are glad we hired them to install new shingles, as they took care of all permits, inspections and cleaned up daily. They were great throughout the whole process giving me and my family updates on progress along with when the final inspection would be. Honest and reliable roofing company and I would recommend them to my friends and family moving forward as well. read more

We came across MK Builders on Yelp and decided to have them bid on our job . It was to replace the entire roof and paint the exterior of the home . Pricing was competitive with the other bids we got , but main reason we picked MK Builders was Richard . He came on time and accessed the property along with going in detail the scope of the work . Everything he had promised and told us about the job was exactly it . There was no up sale or funny business . We had plenty of spot treatments done to our roof in the past and decided it was finally time to get a new one. We started the process by reaching out to top-rated companies in the area. MK Builders was one of four companies we spoke with, and they immediately stood out. They were incredibly honest, upfront, and transparent about the entire process, from start to finish--including cost, timeline, and expectations. We chose to hire them for the job, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The roof was completed right on schedule, exactly as promised, and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. In fact, we were so impressed that we've already hired them again--this time to paint the exterior of our home. MK Builders are professional, reliable, and truly easy to work with. Their communication, craftsmanship, and customer service are top-notch. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof or a paint job done right the first time--without any stress or headaches. Definitely a five-star experience all around! read more

I'm happy to be sharing the roofing experience we received from MK Builders. We wanted to get our roof taken care of in the summer prior to waiting last minute this winter. We had gotten three bids from local companies with high rating, and really enjoyed speaking with Robert and Richard who both were very attentive and detailed. There was no up sale, they were very straight forward and we decided to go with them even though based on the interactions we had with them. I was glad we hired them as the roof was completed in one week, and they made sure to clean up after themselves daily. I needed a new roof replace due to insurance purposes. MK builder was highly recommended to me from a few friends. So I called and Robert was able to give me an estimate the next day. He was very honest and didn't try to up-sale me, and also advised me not to replace my shingle roof since they still have 2+ yrs left. However, since I'm replacing my flat roof with TPO, I decided to do both shingles and TPO. Robert gave me a very competitive quote and was able to work with my budget. The crew came as promised, and clean up daily after their work. My entire roof was done within a week + a few days for inspection. I greatly appreciate his honesty, professionalism and am very happy with my new roof. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him for my next home improvement project. read more

Our roof has been due for a replacement. We got several quotes with different roofers from various locations like the SGV to SFV. Although MK Builders' quote was not the cheapest, we decided to go with them because of their professionalism and trusted in their quality of work. After speaking to Richard initially, he came to our home to do a walkthrough. He was able to provide a detailed proposal for the scope of work and answered any and all questions my husband and I had throughout the project. We originally planned to have the work done before the Thanksgiving holiday, but due to forecasted rain we pushed it back. Richard and his team were very accommodating and reliable. He constantly kept us updated and really made it a seamless process. They started the tear off on a Tuesday and completed the entire project by the following Monday. We passed the final inspection by that Wednesday. Excited to have a brand new roof just in time for the rainy season. Would highly recommend MK Builders for professional and urgent roofing needs. Will definitely be using them for our future home projects! read more

Our roof was at least 20 years old and with all the rain we had the last 2 years and a leak we started to hear we knew it was time to replace the roof. I had about 6 different bids and Rob from MK builders was one of the nicest, easiest reps to work with. His team was great and I always felt comfortable approaching the team if I had any questions or concerns. If you are on the fence about a TPO roof give Rob a call & he will explain all the details involved. Especially with a flat roof that I have I felt that for the long haul a TPO was worth it for the peace of mind in the decades to come. Thanks Rob! read more

I had a bit of a tough project as we were out of state and we weren't too happy with the management company we had assisting us with our project. We ended up reaching out to a few local companies in the area for a roof estimate as well as quotes for painting the exterior. Everything was done remotely, but MK Builders was able to provide exceptional customer service and communication. They are first class: the roof was finished in seven business days and the exterior painting was done in about a week. Overall, Richard and his team were a pleasure to work with. We are very happy with the experience they provided -- they were easy to work with, transparent, and most importantly got the job done when they said they would and at the prices they communicated. We would absolutely use them again for future projects. read more

We hired MKB to fix my small shower where the shower pan wasn't installed correctly. It had been leaking for years, causing wood rot and mold. Robert, Oscar, and Joe were great! They completely removed the old shower down to the 2x4's, then re-built it from the ground up. They did such a good job that we then hired them to work on our second bathroom, that was leaking through the grout in the bathtub. Again ripped out the old tiles, but at least they didn't need to replace the tub itself. Took care of the mold, just as they'd done in the first shower. Then built everything back up. Both bathrooms are beautiful now! We highly recommend MK Builders, and we will be hiring them ourselves in the future. read more
