I had a roof leak during heavy rain back in February 2024 and reached out to multiple roofing companies to get it checked out. The first roofer showed up, glanced at my house (didn't even go on the roof), and immediately said I'd need a full roof replacement--based off Google Maps. That didn't sit right with me. The second roofer came out and said they'd need to use a drone (and charge for it), and also suggested I'd probably need a new roof. Again, no real inspection. Then I contacted JNSA Roofing, and this is where things changed. Nathan's dad--the founder--came out personally. Old school, straightforward, and clearly takes pride in his work. First thing he said was basically, "How can they say that without even going up on the roof?" And then he actually got up there and inspected it properly. He identified the real issue and recommended a repair instead of a full replacement. The work included cleaning debris, pressure washing, fixing problem areas, sealing seams, and applying a silicone coating to the flat roof with proper materials and standards. They also provided a 5-year workmanship warranty. Bottom line: they did a great job and the leaks completely stopped. Later on, I noticed water near my back window and thought it might be related to the roof. I called Nathan in April 2026, and he came by to check it out. He showed me it was actually the window caulking and explained exactly what needed to be done to fix it. We had an abysmal experience with Nathan and his son(s) from JNSA. We contracted them for simple repairs to a flat roof that had undergone soffit extensions and fascia replacements. After 4 major leaks which caused extensive damage to our wood floors in the kitchen, dining and living rooms, we contracted a new roofer. They showed us multiple problems with Nathan's work: 1) roof sheeting had not been torched down. 2) sheeting was left unattached to the subroof structure and lifted away with almost no force. 3) seams were crooked and uneven. Some had large gaps where water could seep under 4) subroof was not leveled properly leaving areas that would eventually break apart. A $12K job that cost us $20K to do over. Existing works had to be completely removed and replaced. Ruined $8K in custom aluminum fascia that we had to purchase and wait 4 weeks to be replaced, before the new contractors could start again. Over $4K needed to sand, stain and refinish our hardwood floors. We were told they used a roofing technique that was the bare minimum and would never meet basic code regulations. read more

JNSAA installed a brand new roof last year on my house and their license was suspended during the time of that construction. The roof had workmanship roofing defects throughout the entire roofing system, no vents were installed, they didn't follow building plans, shingles were cut wrong, shingles overlapping, some areas didn't even have shingles installed properly. We had numerous certified roofers come out for an inspection and they all confirmed poor workmanship. Not only that, the roof caused water intrusion and mold on our entire second floor ceilings, bedrooms and bathroom. Now there is mold remediation that has to be done. As you can see in the photos, the perimeter edges are completely exposed with large gaps that will allow moisture and water intrusion into the roofing system and probably ruin the foam and plywood sheathing layers, jeapordizing the waterproofing integrity of the assembly.
