I'm not sure where to even start with my review because my experience with Panther has been at a level I've not experienced even with some of the best contractors I've worked with. The consistent ease of communication with Mike via text regarding all work is truly next-level. I've never had an easier time working with someone. That's the part I don't know how to put into words. And then in addition to the communication, the quality of work Panther offers is extremely high. They can do so much more outside of just painting! I had an exterior door frame issue that multiple contractors had tried to address, and Panther was the only one who actually fixed the problem. The quality of their work both aesthetically and functionally is top-notch. I have some smaller projects I didn't hire them for because they are more expensive, and sometimes I just need cheaper relief less perfection, but the reason they're more expensive is because of their perfect quality. I'm to the point now where no matter what the project, even if I'm not sure it's something they can do or not, I check in with them first to see if it's something I can hire them for. Seriously, I don't know how Mike can communicate so easily and gracefully. That's so uncommon for contractors. Even the best ones don't do it as well as he does. I got 4 different bids for my exterior house painting and they were all around the same price. I ultimately chose Panther Paint because I have an older home from the 1930s, and they seemed to be more experienced working with houses of that age. Ivan came out for the initial assessment and spent a good amount of time answering all of my questions, which I really appreciated. My house also had peeling stucco and some rotting wood trim, and they were comfortable assessing those issues and explaining how they would repair them. Vitaly and another crew member worked on the house and were fantastic. They repaired the peeling stucco and rotting wood trim before painting, and everything was done cleanly and professionally. They kept the workspace very tidy, put all tools away at the end of each day, and did a thorough cleanup afterward, including all paint scrapings and debris. They worked quickly and were also surprisingly quiet (I.e. no loud music or constant chatter). The whole job took about 10 days total, with a small delay due to rain. Communication throughout the process was great. Mike (the owner) was very responsive via text, provided regular updates, and was genuinely nice and personable. The team was also happy to accommodate extra requests like painting the mail slot, chimney, and changing the door color, all without any surprise costs. I even bought a new porch light to replace my old one, with the intention to swap it out myself after they were done, but Vitaly offered to install it for me too :) Overall, the paint job was very neat and professionally done. I'm really happy with the results and would definitely recommend Panther Paint, especially if you have an older home that needs some repair work in addition to painting. read more

I needed a number of areas in my home painted following some water damage repairs. Despite having a busy schedule already, Mike was able to squeeze our job in on short notice. He worked nights and a weekend while we were out of town to get everything done on time -- very impressive work ethic. I couldn't find the right baseboard for one room, and Mike was able to handcraft a generic one to nicely match the style. Great attention to detail. Everything looks great. Panther Painters painted our exterior wood siding, front door and sanded and restained thresholds. We were very impressed by him. Mike approaches his work like a craft, not like a job. His ultimate goal is to fashion a product that looks good, lasts as long as possible and has been completed thoroughly. It's not the superficial that's important, but the end product of his efforts. He wants the materials to be right, and considers no shortcuts - from the prep work to the priming to the coats of paint. No hastening through spraying or rolling when a brush is the best tool. And no brushing or rolling if spraying is the best application. Equally as careful placing painters tape as brush strokes. That's what you can expect to see in his work, next to the experience of working with him: He is an excellent communicator, quick to respond, but even better, proactive in letting you know the schedule, his arrival time, what will be happening each day. And he is so nice, pleasant to be around and respectful, treating your home as he would his own. Too often at the end of a home improvement job there's a blemish: something is loose, something wasn't finished, something was done shoddily. I hired Mike after my regular painter was tied up and am so glad I did because Mike and his team was awesome! Mike had great attention to detail and kept me in the loop throughout the process with progress photos and updates. He also made sure to get my input on anything he wasn't sure about. I also had him stain new wood clad windows and Mike helped provide a number of samples to ensure my satisfaction before proceeding. Also - Mike and Merek (sorry if misspelled) was able to help me with some finish carpentry. The stair skirt was damaged as part of the demolition process and my carpenter told me he couldn't fix it. I then enlisted my flooring person to fix but when that individual became unavailable, Mike and Merek helped put a new skirt over the existing one. This wasn't an easy task as the existing skirt wasn't plumb or flat and they did a very nice job matching it all together. 10/10 would recommend and do business again Thanks Mike! read more

Mike and Alex did an AMAZING job on our house! We wanted the exterior painted, but ended up having all of our old original wood windows fully restored by them as well. They also fixed various rotten or missing wood pieces along the way and built a new door for our hot water heater. They have impeccable attention to detail and everything ended up so beautifully.
