I'm finding it's pretty hard to find a reliable, conscientious painter. Mike and his team are about as good as you can get. We were ghosted by another painter and needed someone to do the job quickly. He sent over a great team who completed the job in a few days. High quality work, very thorough, and the price was on par with other quotes we received. read more

Scheduled an appointment for a quote last week. The appointment was for today between 10-11am. I made all the arrangements to be here for the appointment. At 9:50am I receive a message on Yelp from Panther Painters...."something came up, can we come at 1pm tomorrow". This was absolutely disrespectful to my time and very unprofessional. You lost my business. Figure out your scheduling and respect people's time! read more

Panther Painters - 10 minutes before the scheduled time, he messaged me that "something came up". The appointment was made the week before. - Painters Near Me - Monterey Park, California

I got 4 different bids for my exterior house painting and they were all around the same price. I ultimately chose Panther Paint because I have an older home from the 1930s, and they seemed to be more experienced working with houses of that age. Ivan came out for the initial assessment and spent a good amount of time answering all of my questions, which I really appreciated. My house also had peeling stucco and some rotting wood trim, and they were comfortable assessing those issues and explaining how they would repair them. Vitaly and another crew member worked on the house and were fantastic. They repaired the peeling stucco and rotting wood trim before painting, and everything was done cleanly and professionally. They kept the workspace very tidy, put all tools away at the end of each day, and did a thorough cleanup afterward, including all paint scrapings and debris. They worked quickly and were also surprisingly quiet (I.e. no loud music or constant chatter). The whole job took about 10 days total, with a small delay due to rain. Communication throughout the process was great. Mike (the owner) was very responsive via text, provided regular updates, and was genuinely nice and personable. The team was also happy to accommodate extra requests like painting the mail slot, chimney, and changing the door color, all without any surprise costs. I even bought a new porch light to replace my old one, with the intention to swap it out myself after they were done, but Vitaly offered to install it for me too :) Overall, the paint job was very neat and professionally done. I'm really happy with the results and would definitely recommend Panther Paint, especially if you have an older home that needs some repair work in addition to painting. read more

Quality thorough work, great communication (and patient when mine was not so great), meticulous attention to detail, and excellent value. Mike and crew were professional - and personable! - to a man. We hired Panther for a long-overdue full exterior repaint, which we knew would include replacement of at least some trim and siding. The depth of their prep work was formidable. They spotted critical issues with our back balconies, and served up a solid solution for a reasonable additional price. And I don't wanna get your expectations up, but Mike brought me delicious food cooked by his mom, too. Many of our neighbors who pass by with their strollers and dogs remarked positively on both the work and the crew. This is the guy and the team you're going to want to tell your friends about. read more

Mike and his team were professional, prompt and knowledgeable. Not to mention great communicators! Would highly recommend.

Panther Painters (Mike) saved me. Needed to find a professional painter last minute to restore my studio apartment back to its original condition (I had my apartment a dark green color) Property management needed it back to white when I moved out. Very responsive, pretty much texted me back within the hour of submission, got my estimate and decided to lock it in. Professional, trustworthy and responsive, highly recommend. Would definitely use them in the future for all my paint needs read more

I'm not sure where to even start with my review because my experience with Panther has been at a level I've not experienced even with some of the best contractors I've worked with. The consistent ease of communication with Mike via text regarding all work is truly next-level. I've never had an easier time working with someone. That's the part I don't know how to put into words. And then in addition to the communication, the quality of work Panther offers is extremely high. They can do so much more outside of just painting! I had an exterior door frame issue that multiple contractors had tried to address, and Panther was the only one who actually fixed the problem. The quality of their work both aesthetically and functionally is top-notch. I have some smaller projects I didn't hire them for because they are more expensive, and sometimes I just need cheaper relief less perfection, but the reason they're more expensive is because of their perfect quality. I'm to the point now where no matter what the project, even if I'm not sure it's something they can do or not, I check in with them first to see if it's something I can hire them for. Seriously, I don't know how Mike can communicate so easily and gracefully. That's so uncommon for contractors. Even the best ones don't do it as well as he does. I still don't have words for it, other than to give a huge thank you. read more

Mike has incredible skills at woodwork and his attention to detail is second to none. He communicated every step of the project and even provided daily updates with pictures when I was out of town. Thanks Mike for all your hardworking installing beautiful new redwood siding! read more

Panther Painters Review Panther Painters did an outstanding job. We were affected by the Eaton Fire, and Mike and his team showed genuine compassion and professionalism throughout the job. The work took about four weeks and stayed exactly on schedule. The Job Interior, exterior, fence, and ADU -- all carefully primed, sanded, and painted -- with three colors outside and three inside. The kitchen cabinet makeover was absolutely stellar and far exceeded expectations. Management Mike, the owner, was honest, responsive, and meticulous, keeping every commitment and making the process seamless as we worked through our insurance claim. Communication was prompt, clear, and consistent -- no surprises or hidden charges. Quality of Work and Supervision Mirat was exceptional -- on-site every day, managing his team with patience, precision, and leadership. His attention to detail and carpentry skills made a big difference, and he even worked overtime to stay on schedule so we could return home halfway through the job with our dogs once insurance coverage ended. Respect The crew treated our home and pets with care, kept the workspace organized, and left everything spotless. We truly enjoyed everyone on the team and will miss having Mirat around. Big Recommendation We highly recommend Panther Painters for both residential and corporate projects -- their craftsmanship, reliability, and integrity truly set them apart. read more

Hello, I've gone back to check on the work performed by Panther Painters. Significant carpentry work was completed around the windows and doors and windows. Stucco repair was also completed all at a reasonable price. I'm happy to say that a year later The work has held up. Not bad for a hundred year old house! read more

I needed a number of areas in my home painted following some water damage repairs. Despite having a busy schedule already, Mike was able to squeeze our job in on short notice. He worked nights and a weekend while we were out of town to get everything done on time -- very impressive work ethic. I couldn't find the right baseboard for one room, and Mike was able to handcraft a generic one to nicely match the style. Great attention to detail. Everything looks great. I found Mike to be really personable and communicative. He seems to genuinely enjoy his work. He told me he was a perfectionist and he definitely demonstrated it on our job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Panther Painters again! read more

These guys are fantastic! So meticulous! So thorough! So talented! So professional! So darn nice! I have been searching for the right team to work with painting my 9 houses. Finally, I met the perfect match! I could not be more pleased with the whole experience! Mike was direct and communicated well the scope of the work and the time schedule and compensation. We were able to negotiate a fair price for both of us. He is a spray-painting genius! Alex did all the prep with a smile on his face. I honestly don't know how they managed with the temperatures soaring to the mid 90's. I had some pretty bad spots including termite eaten wood on my banister. Alex was a true artist filling that in and sculpting the detail perfectly. My tenants were not put out at all by the disruption because they were so considerate. The quality of their work far surpasses any other painter I have hired in the past. I am really picky but with these guys there was nothing to pick! Panther Painters are my go-to from now on. read more

Mike did an amazing job sanding and staining my old Craftsman wrap around porch that had countless layers of old paint, and brought it back to it's original glory. He also did a great job building a custom closet for my daughter. He was friendly and communicative, and did an overall wonderful job. read more

Panther Painters painted our exterior wood siding, front door and sanded and restained thresholds. We were very impressed by him. Mike approaches his work like a craft, not like a job. His ultimate goal is to fashion a product that looks good, lasts as long as possible and has been completed thoroughly. It's not the superficial that's important, but the end product of his efforts. He wants the materials to be right, and considers no shortcuts - from the prep work to the priming to the coats of paint. No hastening through spraying or rolling when a brush is the best tool. And no brushing or rolling if spraying is the best application. Equally as careful placing painters tape as brush strokes. That's what you can expect to see in his work, next to the experience of working with him: He is an excellent communicator, quick to respond, but even better, proactive in letting you know the schedule, his arrival time, what will be happening each day. And he is so nice, pleasant to be around and respectful, treating your home as he would his own. Too often at the end of a home improvement job there's a blemish: something is loose, something wasn't finished, something was done shoddily. When Mike left, not only were we so happy with the product of his work, but we have the added comfort that he will stand behind it and come back if anything isn't right. read more

I hired Panther Painters to paint my old Spanish Style home. To my delight they took their time and restored the wood and hardware to the original quality and beauty. They brought out the artistic detail and anything needing to be replaced was replaced to resemble the original time period. The actual paint job itself is beautiful. This is a family home and it means a great deal to us that such care was produced. My uncle who grew up in this home is brought back to his childhood memories. My picky sister loves it too. We are so grateful. It was a pleasure working with the crew. They were communicative throughout the process and did a great job with the final cleanup. I can trust this team and as such, will be hiring only them or their references for future work. read more

I hired Mike after my regular painter was tied up and am so glad I did because Mike and his team was awesome! Mike had great attention to detail and kept me in the loop throughout the process with progress photos and updates. He also made sure to get my input on anything he wasn't sure about. I also had him stain new wood clad windows and Mike helped provide a number of samples to ensure my satisfaction before proceeding. Also - Mike and Merek (sorry if misspelled) was able to help me with some finish carpentry. The stair skirt was damaged as part of the demolition process and my carpenter told me he couldn't fix it. I then enlisted my flooring person to fix but when that individual became unavailable, Mike and Merek helped put a new skirt over the existing one. This wasn't an easy task as the existing skirt wasn't plumb or flat and they did a very nice job matching it all together. 10/10 would recommend and do business again Thanks Mike! read more

Mike painted the back part of my duplex and did a fantastic job. He also replaced rotted fascia boards and window molding. He takes pride in a job well done and seems passionate about his craft. You're in great hands with Mike and Alex! Not only are they great at their craft but they are really good guys. They make sure to do the job the right way and don't cut corners. Communication was prompt and clear, Mike explained to me the process and made sure we were on the same page throughout the entire process. My home is a hundred year old craftsman that needed lots of love and they certainly were up to the task. We chose the only rainy month of the year which can really impact a painting job but Mike and Alex did their best to deal with the elements, we appreciate them moving around their schedules to get the work done. Highly recommend Paint Panthers, they deliver quality results with a great attitude, my neighbors have been asking me for their contact info after seeing how hard they worked and how great our home looks! read more

Mike and Alex did an AMAZING job on our house! We wanted the exterior painted, but ended up having all of our old original wood windows fully restored by them as well. They also fixed various rotten or missing wood pieces along the way and built a new door for our hot water heater. They have impeccable attention to detail and everything ended up so beautifully. They even custom built our new shutters to save cost on purchasing them. Everything looks SO. GOOD. We get so many compliments from our neighbors. They are also the 2 nicest guys to work with, they became part of the family and we were sad to see them go, our kids still ask about them. I'll have to come up with more projects so we can keep hanging out ;) Before and after pics below! Hire them, you won't be sorry! read more

We had Mike refinish our redwood deck after having a hot tub removed -- he did an impeccable job, much better than we thought was possible! He power washed the deck, removed some boards to fix a sagging part of the deck, and resealed it all and it honestly looks better than it did when we had it put in 10 years ago! Mike is trustworthy, reliable, and fairly priced for the excellent work he does. Recommend 100%! read more

Mike and Alex are an amazing duo! We reached out to them after looking at various quotes to paint the exterior of our 2B/1Ba home. I had hired a painter for my living room with bad results. I was hesitant to try again although it had to be corrected. I started my search and finally found Panther Painters. I began to read their reviews which were nothing but stellar. Mike came out quickly, saw my situation and assured me he could rectify it. And he did!!! He and his crew are a professionl, friendly and extremely hard working team. They would show up and immediately start to work and didn't stop until it was time to leave. The results were beyond what I thought possible and I am absolutely delighted. It is the work of craftsmen! There is not enough praise. As a bonus, Mike did not hesitate to help me with some side chores I was grappling with. I highly recommend Mike at Panther Painters as he was also referred to me by my sister who was very impressed with his work. I was out of town while he painted, so he was very communicative and sent me updates as needed. He's very detail oriented and meticulous, so everything looks very premium. Where do I start? So many positive things to say about Mike and his Crew (Maret, Mike and Dina) After reading many wonderful reviews about Mike, we hired him to work on our home (old Spanish, needs some love). Mike and his crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. I can honestly say we've never had anyone take such great measures with preparation. Floors were covered, walls and trim sanded, beams and doors masked & protected. These guys go above and beyond. You can tell they love what they do and take incredible pride in their work. Mike is meticulous, pays great attention to every detail. Windows which were once sealed (painted closed) were restored to their former glory. Mike took the window hardware home with him and returned it stripped and polished! Did I mention they are the nicest guys you'll have the pleasure of meeting?
