Tim gave us a fair quote and explained the proper process for finishing butcher block islands - and we were far from it. His team, led by Indy, protected our floors and did a thorough sanding, finishing and repeating multiple times to bring out a beautiful natural shine. The teak master team did an excellent job at refinishing our IPE decks. Originally we opted for a water based seal but it lasted only a few months. Tim, the owner, highly recommended going with an oil based sealer that would really highlight the woods color and protect it from the elements (pool, pets, sprinklers, sun,etc). They brought a whole crew and was able to reseal it all in one day. Fantastic team and fantastic work! read more

The 5-star reviews you see all over this page are authentic. I just experienced it for myself. These guys...a straight up FAMILY BUSINESS and, man, do they take pride in that....and live up to it. It starts with a phone call from one of the owners himself. He guides you through the process of what will happen, how it will happen and when you can expect results. After photos are taken and sent to him, he sets you up with an estimate. (My job was completed to the penny. Amazing.) The guys come in their company panel truck and pick up your stuff....that's right, this is a pro operation - they don't mess around, sanding and finishing in your driveway - they do it at their facility where they have full control of the elements. Once the furniture arrives at their place, the service manager calls you. Nicest cat you'll ever meet, very accommodating, reassuring and extremely careful with handling of your furniture - and communication - AT EVERY STEP. At one point, I was laughing to myself when I saw my phone light up again with another call from these guys...it was just them doing their job RIGHT. Making sure that every detail (in this case, the exact finish color and style) were perfect. As if all this wasn't enough, their sister-company is COVERINI. That company handles cleaning and care of Sunbrella patio cushions. It was so nice having both places - connected - at the same location. It made everything ridiculously easy. I'm writing this review now while all is fresh in my mind...COVERINI and TEAK MASTERS executed this job to perfection. Yes, we paid a few bucks for it but we sprung for nice quality stuff - and if you want your stuff to last, you've got to take care of your stuff. These guys GET THAT. If your teak furniture is graying out, aging and looking dingey - and your furniture pillows are stained, lifeless or beat up...you've met your hallelujah right here. Do this. After rebuilding my 700 square foot Mangaris wood deck, in Studio City, back in 2019, the builders recommended that I keep the wood in good shape by servicing it once a year with their favorite company, "Teak Master." I followed their advice and have been more than happy ever since. Three men show up early, every year, and power wash, sand, and re-seal the entire deck, along with a bench and all the railings in about 6 hours. The deck looks brand new, the deep reds of the Mangaris wood popping once again, the railings sanded and sealed smooth, with no trace of what those darned squirrels and birds did to it, over a year's time. I think this says it all--we've been using Teak Masters for many years, and had pressure washers here to clean patio. They stopped short at our incredible, just refinished teak and could not believe the quality, or that the outdoor furniture was nearing 8 or 9 years old. Over the past 10 plus years we have used Teak Master 4 times, every couple years, or so. Tim does an amazing job on cleaning and refurbishing our teak. Just recently we had him do our furniture after the Eaton Fire (no fire damage thank goodness), and we were planning on having it done this year anyway. We had two small side tables that I thought were goners, they were that bad! Tim worked his magic and they are like new. All of it looks like new! Don't give it a second thought...hire Teak Master, Tim is the Teak Master! Also, reasonably priced, delivers when promised. One more thing. To keep teak nice between cleaning, Coverini (I believe Tim's sister has this business) makes custom covers, which helps keep the teak nicer longer.
