The crew knows teak and refinishing. And they are committed to doing a good job and producing a quality product. The crew worked well as a team, and seemed to enjoy their work. Our home has teak trim and architectural features. Many of the surfaces that get a lot of sun exposure needed work. Indy came out, evaluated what needed to be done, and Teak Master promptly sent an estimate. The senior crew supervisor was Indy, and our crew consisted of Andres, Arturo, Samuel, Abidan, and Juan. They were here for three days, sanding and refinishing the teak. As an example of their attention to detail, my wife has a lot of potted plants on the patio. It was no surprise that they moved all the potted plants out of the way. The surprise came at the end, when Indy took out his phone, looked at the photo he had taken three days earlier, and directed the crew as they put every plant back in its original position! Nobody else has ever done that. And, on the day the trash was collected, I left the barrels on the driveway, to give the crew more room in the side yard. After they left, the barrels were back where they belong. It's the little things. Although Indy and I had examined the house in advance to determine the scope of work, as they were wrapping up Indy looked at the garage doors and pointed out that after refinishing the other areas, the doors looked a bit shabby. He was right. I look forward to having them back in a few weeks. read more

Outstanding service and work. Before contacting Teak Master we thought about replacing the wood on our house with siding. We had no idea what a gem we had with the teak wood finish until we met with Tim from Teak Master. He assessed our wood finishes, explained their process, and he provided a reasonable price for their work. The wood now looks fantastic, and the Teak Master team that came was professional, kept the site clean, and their work was amazing. We highly recommend Teak Master for your needs to rejuvenate your worn teak wood. We plan to continue to use them to keep our teak wood so beautiful long-term. read more

The service was top notch and professional from beginning to end. From ease of scheduling to staining of new redwood fences, the process was smooth and aligned with current market rates. On the day of service, the foreman was meticulous, offered staining choices, was careful of new plantings and communicated clearly throughout the morning. Recommended follow up care was outlined and the owners verified that I was happy with the job. Well done Teak Master! read more

We'll 100% work with Tim and his teak master team again. They brought new life back into our old deck and worked tirelessly to get it in the best shape they could. Tim and his team are straightshooting and have a passion for their craft. Even if they weren't the lowest bid, I'm extremely glad we went with them given how much attention to detail they put into making their work product great. Worth it. read more

My old teak chairs look brand new! Tim's team did a fabulous job of refinishing them and was super neat and clean!!

Amazing work. Tim and team are top notch and I love that Teak is their speciality. They know this wood inside and out. Process is smooth. They come to your house, remove the items, then bring them back when done. We had a delivery lead named Indy who was so thorough and prepared. And they are very communicative throughout the process. They let us know where we had minor wear to fabric and even installed caps to keep the legs of the items elevated and off the ground (and off water!). Our furniture looks like it's brand new which is a real testament to their work because it was looking pretty tired. If you have teak wood furniture, teak master is your go-to! read more

Everything stuck to our butcher block table until I called Teak Master. We lived with stickiness, patches and constant cleaning of residue for way too long. Tim gave us a fair quote and explained the proper process for finishing butcher block islands - and we were far from it. His team, led by Indy, protected our floors and did a thorough sanding, finishing and repeating multiple times to bring out a beautiful natural shine. They only use food safe mineral oil and provide guidance to keep it clean and free of chemicals. We're so happy to be able to use our island again! read more

The team arrived on time, finished the job in two days, and left our deck looking beautiful!

Very disappointed. The professionalism, the job and the stain they put on my teak. I asked for it to be sanded and sealed, and they changed the color of my chairs. The owner was extraordinarily rude to me and took no responsibility. They brought the chairs back to my house and when I sat in the chair the stain actually went through onto my clothing I would not recommend. read more

Tim and Ricardo were absolutely fabulous to work with. They are knowledgable, professional and prompt. Ricardo revived our sad Ipe deck in one afternoon and honestly, I didn't know it could look that good. These guys aren't your run-of-the-mill woodworkers, they are truly talented at caring for rare and hard woods. Look forward to working with them on a few other decks and furniture pieces around our home! read more

The teak master team did an excellent job at refinishing our IPE decks. Originally we opted for a water based seal but it lasted only a few months. Tim, the owner, highly recommended going with an oil based sealer that would really highlight the woods color and protect it from the elements (pool, pets, sprinklers, sun, etc). They brought a whole crew and was able to reseal it all in one day. Fantastic team and fantastic work! read more

They've refinished my deck every other year for about 10 years now. I spent my career managing high end commercial properties and have very high standards for the work I pay for at my residence. Teak Master will have this job for as long as I own this house. In the rare situation where something is not perfect, they respond immediately and take care of it. The crew is great, communication is easy and they all take pride in the work they do. Thanks Teak Master for making my deck look so beautiful. read more

The 5-star reviews you see all over this page are authentic. I just experienced it for myself. These guys...a straight up FAMILY BUSINESS and, man, do they take pride in that....and live up to it. It starts with a phone call from one of the owners himself. He guides you through the process of what will happen, how it will happen and when you can expect results. After photos are taken and sent to him, he sets you up with an estimate. (My job was completed to the penny. Amazing.) The guys come in their company panel truck and pick up your stuff....that's right, this is a pro operation - they don't mess around, sanding and finishing in your driveway - they do it at their facility where they have full control of the elements. Once the furniture arrives at their place, the service manager calls you. Nicest cat you'll ever meet, very accommodating, reassuring and extremely careful with handling of your furniture - and communication - AT EVERY STEP. At one point, I was laughing to myself when I saw my phone light up again with another call from these guys...it was just them doing their job RIGHT. Making sure that every detail (in this case, the exact finish color and style) were perfect. As if all this wasn't enough, their sister-company is COVERINI. That company handles cleaning and care of Sunbrella patio cushions. It was so nice having both places - connected - at the same location. It made everything ridiculously easy. I'm writing this review now while all is fresh in my mind...COVERINI and TEAK MASTERS executed this job to perfection. Yes, we paid a few bucks for it but we sprung for nice quality stuff - and if you want your stuff to last, you've got to take care of your stuff. These guys GET THAT. If your teak furniture is graying out, aging and looking dingey - and your furniture pillows are stained, lifeless or beat up...you've met your hallelujah right here. Do this. This company deserves the highest marks. P.S. for Yelpies...I hit them on Yelp and got a response same day. I mean, wow! Y'all ROCK! read more

TRUST! This company was amazing. We had a walnut front door built at Ganahl Lumber and needed it sealed with clear coat. Teak Master was incredible from start to finish. Excellent customer service, excellent communication and top notch work. My door looks amazing after they put 3 coats of sealer and sanded between each coat. It took 2 days and they came to my house, took door off, set up a tent, put door back on and came back next day to finish. They even made a slight adjustment that my door needed. I debated between two companies and couldn't be happier with my choice. A team of three kind, hard-working and professional guys came out. If you need wood staining or sealing for long lasting valuable pieces look no further. This company is it!! read more

After rebuilding my 700 square foot Mangaris wood deck, in Studio City, back in 2019, the builders recommended that I keep the wood in good shape by servicing it once a year with their favorite company, "Teak Master." I followed their advice and have been more than happy ever since. Three men show up early, every year, and power wash, sand, and re-seal the entire deck, along with a bench and all the railings in about 6 hours. The deck looks brand new, the deep reds of the Mangaris wood popping once again, the railings sanded and sealed smooth, with no trace of what those darned squirrels and birds did to it, over a year's time. I highly recommend this company to take care of all your outdoor wood refinishing. You'll never look elsewhere! Ivan Ladizinsky Studio City, CA. read more

Teak Master did a beautiful job on my teak patio table and bench set. I can't believe I've had these pieces for almost 20 years and Teak Master has made them look brand new. They also did an amazing job with pick up and delivery of my furniture . Can't wait to use them again in the future. read more
