It was difficult finding a granite repair source because the sources I found and called or messaged didn't return my phone call. I waited a few weeks and tried again and finally got in touch with Manuel at Stone Polish. We settled on a date and I confirmed the day earlier to make sure he was still coming. He messaged me back quickly and the next day he showed up 20 minutes early. We discussed the situation and the process for repairing the granite behind the sink. About two hours later he was finished. It's significantly better than what it was. There were a number of granite chunks and pieces that were loose plus, some of the metal reinforcement was so bad, it had disintegrated. Manuel reused some of the larger pieces and used epoxy to blend in some of the other areas. All in all, we're very happy with the outcome. Manuel was very personable and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again. read more

I contacted Manuel because my limestone floor tile had gone cloudy on me after years of use. He quoted me a price and then I waited a short time to be scheduled. Manuel & Genaro showed up on time & proceeded to clean polish & repair my stone. In my opinion they did excellent work in minimal time. They were respectful of my property and cleaned-up the work area when the job was completed. They left me with after-care instructions for care & maintenance of the floor tiles. Wow! My granite countertops look SO MUCH NICER after Manuel and his company Stone Polish Restoration came out! The hard water in east Whittier has damaged my granite countertops in my kitchen and guest bathroom over the years and no cleaning helped. It was suggested to me to have someone refinish or restore them which to be honest I had not heard about before. I am so grateful to Manuel for returning my call so quickly and coming out for an estimate. I was so happy with the estimate I had him start the work on the spot and it was finished within an hour or so! Quality service, highly recommend. read more

I got the referral for Manuel from a neighbor. My home has travertine tile which had never been commercially cleaned, I assume. In addition to Manuel's very good communication -- i.e., I didn't have to chase him down -- he came right away and gave me a quote to clean my floors. I wasn't quite ready, and when I contacted him again, he was just as nice and accommodating. The floors are beautiful. His price was very reasonable. I highly reccomend Manuel. read more

It can be tough to find trustworthy quality contractors, so words cannot even describe how happy we are to have found Manuel. He's a great communicator, very honest, highly professional and simply the best at what it does. He has been here twice and completely restored our Travertine Floors, in a multi step process, to look like brand new. His rates are also very decent. We're about to schedule Manuel and crew for a 3rd visit, which will be to work on our Marble. And you already know, I would highly recommend him to anyone. Hope this helps y'all out there. read more

Manuel and his crew did a great job restoring my granite countertop. Hard water and 6+ years of not conditioning it resulted in a lot of pitting and erosion. The before and after photos speak for themselves. His pricing was fair. The work was very thorough with great results. read more

Well, I tried for years to get the hard water scale off my shower walls and floor. Finally it was so gross looking even though I knew it was clean. I think just the humiliation caused me not to document the original calcium deposits. I guarantee you IT WAS BAD!! Manuel and his crew were very timely when I asked them to come out and tell me if a rescue was possible. Scheduling a time was easy and they arrived on time and wore booties and everything into the house. It was a long process. but I was overjoyed at the re-newed beautiful shower. Manuel and his crew were super nice and friendly. One of the pictures shows how even my mushroom colored grout had turned white. I was so happy with my first shower in my sparkling shower. Now my job will be keeping it nice and clean. Thanks Manny and crew, I can not think of a higher recommendation that I would give them. You won't be disappointed. Communication was key, if only all business owners followed his example. read more

We had a crack in our granite countertop in front of the sink. I got a couple other quotes but they wanted to cut out the entire portion out to do a seamless repair and it was quite expensive. Manuel communicated very clearly that he could do a repair that would not be seamless but would prevent the crack from expanding and would not be as noticeable. He did a great job. He also noticed that the sink needed to be re-grouted and he did a great job at a very reasonable fee. read more

Our kitchen granite cracked behind the sink and the marble in the bathroom had deep scratches. Manuel and his worker from Stone Polish Restoration came yesterday and took care of it all. The crack was repaired and the scratches were gone. They fixed, polished and sealed it all in one morning. He noticed our floors had not been deep cleaned and gave me a quick estimate. They took care of it right away. I couldn't believe how much dirt was left on the tiles after my regular mopping and steam cleaning over the years that was gone when they were done. They look nearly new. Their prices are very reasonable and his tips and instructions on how to remove oil stains and keep our granite in good shape really made us know we would hire him for any future stone care we need. read more

I had two fairly significant cracks in my kitchen granite counter, one behind the sink and one near the front edge on the left. I had gotten a quote a couple weeks earlier from another company, their price was very high. Manuel asked me to send him some pictures of the cracks, which I did, and he gave me a much lower quote. He explained that the fix would not look perfect,, but that he could fill in both cracks to get my sink looking about 90% as good as it looked before. He also told me that he could redo the silicone seal around the sink and backsplash behind it. Three days later, Manuel came out with an associate and did exactly what he promised. Although not perfect, my cracks are completely filled in and my sink looks much better. I was very satisfied with Manuel's work, and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking the service he provides. read more
