Thank you for sending your telephone number. My husband called you direct and you gave him a quote without seeing the area in person. We did give you the square footage of that room and asked for specific information. He asked you for a breakdown of your quote as to determine what you were charging for. Did not get one. There seemed to have been some confusion between the two of you , as to who own the company , and what your role was. After that ,conversation stopped. You stopped communicating to him and that's why he canceled the Free quote. Meanwhile, quotes were given to him that were broken down, and more reasonable read more

Hector did a great job with replacing our water damaged flooring in the kitchen with the boards from our laundry room. He responds quickly, shows up when he says he will, and quoted a competitive price. Would hire him again for flooring work in the future if/when needed. read more

Hector was one of the first contractors to respond to my flooring inquiry...which was less than five minutes. Communication was great and quick. I will say that it was on the high side of the other quotes I received, but based on his rating, I was hoping that he would do a great job without me having to ask for him to fix anything. I'm SO HAPPY I trusted my gut. He did a fantastic job, and finished quick. I really liked that the work area was clean while he worked and clean once he was finished. He said he would arrive at my house between 8:30-9am, and he arrived at 8:31am. I appreciate that he was exactly on time (most contractors are late). I recommend for anyone who wants a job done great the first time. read more

We had a very large aquarium leak on our carpet and it caused the wood floor beneath to swell and lift, so we decided to remove the carpet and install LVT. We requested a quote through Yelp Thursday afternoon and Hector was the first to respond and came over that evening. It's Saturday afternoon and the job was completed in 3 1/2 hours, less than 48 hours since the initial quote request. Very professional, quote was very reasonable, they were prompt, and job is fantastic. Highly recommend. read more

Hector and his team exceeded my expectations. We had a slab leak which damaged our original vinyl flooring and concrete subflooring. Hector took great care test the application of a couple different sealants to an area of the subfloor as proof of an effective moisture barrier moving forward. Some contractors may have rushed to their next job and not addressed the hidden condensation properly. His professionalism, quality, and attention to detail are unmatched. read more

I had an excellent experience with Sunset Pro Flooring. They replaced the carpet in my living room and bathroom with vinyl flooring, and I'm extremely happy with both the work and the entire experience. From the beginning, Hector was responsive and accommodating. When I first reached out looking for someone to do the job, he came out that same day and had a quote ready for me right away. He offered to start that weekend, but I wasn't ready that quickly. He was flexible and worked with my schedule to start the following week. Hector and his worker completed my living room in one day, and I was impressed with how clean and efficient they were. One thing I especially appreciated was how careful Hector was with the materials. He knew exactly how much to purchase, so there was very little left over. I never felt like I was being charged for unnecessary materials, and anything remaining that I had paid for was left with me. That kind of honesty stood out to me. The worker who was with Hector was also diligent. At one point Hector had to leave to run an errand, and his worker continued working hard the entire time to make sure the job got done. Both men were respectful, professional, and trustworthy. As a woman having people working inside my home, feeling comfortable and safe was important to me. I felt comfortable leaving them alone in my home while they worked. You can also tell that Hector genuinely takes pride in what he does. He's a family man who speaks lovingly about his family, and he truly seems to enjoy his work. That shows in the quality and thoroughness of the finished product. Sunset Pro Flooring was worth every penny. They are honest, dependable, professional, and do quality work without trying to overcharge you. I recommend the to anyone looking for flooring work, and I will be rehiring them until every room in my home is complete (Lol). read more

I was looking to replace my carpet in my ADU, so I decided to get some estimates and I was shocked at how much it cost to replace 385 sq ft in two rooms. Initially, my budget was 1,000 but the estimates ranged from 2,200 to 4,000 so I decided to purchase my own carpet and have it installed, and that's when I put in a request through Yelp, the only one that called me was Hector from Sunset Pro Flooring, he stopped by the same day to check out the place and he gave me an estimate of 900 for installation only, so I said forget it. The next day Hector called me and said they have a special carpet they want to get rid off and offered to install including everything (moisture proof padding and a professional installation). Hector and his crew showed up on time and installed the new carpet and hauled away the old carpet and padding and even cleaned up afterwards. I am very happy with the new carpet and I would recommend Sunset Pro Flooring to my friends and family. read more
