We needed to have old carpet, torn out in new carpet installed in four bedrooms, a hallway, and two staircases, with one of them, turning as it went to the basement. And then we also wanted to have our warping wooden floors, sanded, and refinished. I was able to schedule to have Adolfo come out and give a quote, very quickly, and they were patient with us, even though we didn't want the work done right away. The quote was very fair and they let us know exactly what to expect. He had samples with him, and I was able to choose the color of carpet and what we wanted done with the wood flooring. Adolfo even saved me from making a mistake of staining a floor that didn't need it. They were great with scheduling and completing the work even ahead of schedule. It looks amazing. I wish I had some before pictures. We did not realize what a difference sanding our wood floors would make! The communication with Karin, in their office was fantastic from start to finish. The scope of work included sanding about 800 sq. ft. of solid Maple floor and applying three coats of varnish, buffing between coats. The floor looks great. The workers were well organized and methodical, and had the right equipment to do the work. They plastic sheeted the other rooms and furniture to minimize dust. I will start by saying I was a bit apprehensive... a big project that would completely determine the look of our home; a company I had no dealings with nor had I come across (for instance they aren't the local guys who advertise on radio all the time who, at least, we had heard of before) etc., etc. Adolfo (and his daughter/boss Karin) were on it from the moment I contacted them. They gave us lots of options and didn't try to push anything. If anything they tried to steer us away from higher price options that didn't in their opinion add very much. We selected our material, the quote was competitive and clearly outlined what was and was not included. The unknowns, as always in remodels, were a bit more extensive than hoped for; in our case extensive subfloor damage due to a very poorly done previous travertine floor. In dealing with it they accommodated the longer schedule without complaint and visibly worked to keep the added cost down. Most significantly they did not cut corners; they did what was required for the quality of the job to be A+... It would have been easy to do the opposite and we likely would not have noticed, but the small things, like ensuring low spots got levelled, impressed us and told us they were sweating the details. Adolfo and his team were so amazing! We just bought our house with its original hardwood flooring. It had the orange toned stain that my mom wanted to turn as light as possible to match our flooring in the kitchen. My dad decided to refinish it himself and unfortunately, it was a much tougher job that he had expected. We were supposed to move in on the 29th the stain had still not dried for 4 days (due to the fact my dad had used an exterior stain). We sent out a request on Nov. 18th. Due to termite tenting, we only really had the 25th-28th to get the floors done and fully dried for moving day. Adolfo, Karin, and their crew are absolutely amazing. We called them last minute with a very tight timeline. Karin was incredibly professional and efficient on the phone. Adolfo is extremely knowledgeable and great for answering all of our questions (including about non-floor renovations we were working on at the same time). They finished about 1000 sq ft of our tri-level home (including both sets of stairs) in just over a week. Everyone was very polite, took time to get all the little detials right, and left the house as clean as possible considering the amount of dust produced in this type of work. Costs for materials and labor are similar to what we were quoted at Home Depot for a comparable product. We did go over budget as the pre-install leveling/sub floor repairs cost more than expected. Those are not included in the initial estimate and did give me a little sticker shock at first. They were really nice about working with us on our budget and payment options. When done, there were a couple of teeny tiny spots I wasn't perfectly happy with, but they came to get them fixed within the day I noticed them. All-in-all, a very positive experience. read more

We reached out through Yelp and was pleasantly surprised when they were able to fit us in to meet with Adolfo the very next day. Adolfo arrived on time, was very professional and even gave us a quote on the spot for carpet removal and installation. He mentioned that there would be additional discounts if we paid all cash, which we were planning to do. Before making a decision on who to hire, we reached out and asked ALL companies who we met with the same questions: - if there would be any additional discounts if we decided to do both carpet and hardwood with them - if we could also get a quote for installing baseboards - cost to pick up the material we already purchased There were all seemingly reasonable questions which were answered with no issues by other vendors we were scouting. Instead, Karin, Adolfo's daughter, called and accused us of asking for work for free (which we never did), said that the cost to install would be $3.50 (when Adolfo specifically told us between $3-$3.50), and told us "if you want to go with another company then go". I was appalled with her attitude when we were doing our due diligence as homeowners by asking normal questions. She also was giving us a price based on zero knowledge of the situation at the house, which made me question their business practices. The estimate was reasonable for the quality of material used. They sent good people to do the job who worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. Its been exactly 2 years since we had our floors done by Floors Network, all the issues I wrote in my original review have come full circle. We have so many broken floorboards and gaps in our flooring because they put the flooring over uneven subfloor. Adolfo was mad when we called him during the install to point out that the floor felt bubbly & said they would try to even out. Instead of leveling the subfloor or even letting us know it had to be done they just did a half assed job and now all the money we spent is wasted. Adolfo took advantage on doing a shitty job because we were young and new home owners and we trusted him. I am so glad I now have The Floors Network to call for any flooring and framing needs. I am super impressed with the way they treat homeowners. They are a wonderful and kind family-owned business and treated me like a friend or family member not just a customer. I had a room whose hardwood was badly scratched by our cats, with pet accidents that had soaked in under the litterbox and stains everywhere. I wanted to convert it into an office but it smelled and looked terrible. They cut out the pet accident portion, sanded, stained and applied several coats of finish to that room and the hallway where a board had sunk in and needed leveling. I also had many places all over my house where hardwood had been chipped out and you could see the interior of the wood, which they filled with a matching color and leveled also. From estimate to completion, Adolfo the owner was patient in answering my questions as I've never had hardwood floor refinishing before and my house is very old. Karin his daughter was responsive and caring in her customer service and scheduling, always answering quickly compared with all other contractors I work with. Miguel the team leader was also kind and he and his team did beautiful work on the floors and molding. I couldn't even tell where they cut out and replaced flooring from the pet accident because they staggered the boards to match the rest of the floor instead of making a straight cut across. Even though my house and project are small compared with the large projects they often have, they treated my job as an important priority. We had our laminate floors installed yesterday by Carpet Idea and could not be more impressed. This whole process started a couple months ago when we were researching and getting quotes to do our living room and dining area redone. Stumbled upon Adolfo and Karin through Yelp and they blew away the two other job quotes we received from other vendors. They came to our house, at a time that was both convenient for me and my wife so we can select our options. Pretty impressed that Adolfo whipped out a laser measurer to get our quote super accurate - definitely beats the other guys tape measuring. This was a very unfortunate situation as we're looking for carpet and floor installation and Floors Network had great reviews. This is not to speak on the quality as we did not do any work together but the customer service was a horrible experience where clients shouldn't be gaslit. Adolfo came to our house on a Saturday to measure and he himself was great and very personable and knowledgeable. He provided pricing for carpet and we were trying to get pricing for laminate installation for the rest of the house for which no specific price was provided but a range of $3-$3.50 per sq ft. I texted the number a few days later on a Wednesday, thinking I was speaking with Adolfo, and asked a few questions along with trying to negotiate pricing for both if cash was paid since in person the previous Saturday, he said cash can be discounted. I offered $6000 for carpet installation (was quoted $2489) and the remaining part is about 1250 sq ft for labor on which material is provided. In trading text messages, his daughter, Karin, called me (she wasn't there and we never met) and started accusing and attacking me saying things such as: "We told you $3.50 per" "This doesn't even cover labor" "You ask for discount after discount" "You should work with someone else" Considering I liked Adolfo and wanted to work with him and get all answers ahead of time so no surprises, I was upset by the way I was spoken. I was about to let this go and just move on except they followed up with me 2 days later on Friday asking if they should stop by to measure. Confused, I called the number and his daughter, Karin, answered and I asked to speak with Adolfo as I didn't appreciate the last encounter we had. She said to text him and he'll call me back so I did and a few hours later received a message that they can't work with us at this time. Again, I cannot speak on their quality and in terms of Adolfo, he seemed great and very knowledgable but his daughter helping him run his business is extremely rude, unprofessional, and short tempered.
