Jose Mendoza is courteous, punctual, and a true professional. I got several quotes for my hardwood floor installation and Jose gave me the best quote. I had about 5 layers of flooring layered one on top of the other which increased the height of the floor above the original hardwood floor that was installed in 1956 way too much. He tore out all the layers of flooring and got down to the original hardwood and installed the new hardwood directly on top. The finished product is perfect. 180 square feet complete in one day. I prefer to hire contractors that actually do the work themselves and work side by side with their employees like Mr. Mendoza does. It seems like all the other quotes I got were much higher because the owners are just sales people and the quote includes their overhead which may include paying for a secretary, their own pay, and the laborers that actually do the floor installation. read more

My husband and I just bought a home and we are AC people. Right after receiving keys... we start using the AC which completely leaked and ruined the flooring in the two rooms next to the AC unit. August 28, 2023 A few weeks back, I reached out to Mendoza's flooring. I spoke to Jose the owner. He was very kind, nice and provided excellent customer service over the phone. I made an appointment to have them come out to provide me with a quote as I was just looking for installation only on flooring that I had purchased from floor and decor and baseboards From a local hardware store. Mr Mendoza was flexible and was willing to start the work right away. He seems very likeable and honest. He explained that he would check and level my floors. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use his this time because my husband already signed a contract with other company that I wasn't aware of. The wife and i had been talking about getting rid of our carpet for a year or so. Once my father inlaw upgraded his floor and we saw how nice they came out we were sold. I called Jose on a Sunday and he came by the next day with tons of samples. We decided on a color and he installed on Thursday. His crew worked all day and got everything done in one day.
