We could not have asked for a better experience. As first-time homeowners, we're learning the ropes and making small changes in our new house. Our home had wall-to-wall mismatched carpet, and new flooring was the first big ticket item on our list. We put out feelers on Yelp and met with a handful of flooring companies, went to a lot of showrooms, and did a ton of research. Ultimately, we chose Triple A for their patience, honesty, feedback, and reviews. Boy did we get exactly the type of service every homeowner dreams of getting. The day before install, I was very nervous about the process so Bradley and Danny stopped by to reassure me and walk me through the entire process. This was after we spent a week or so going back and forth on carpet. We ended doing most of our home in McMillan Niobe waterproof laminate and the bedrooms with a plush carpet. The install was seamless and they even patched up some concrete cracks and took extra care to protect our flooring from water that may or may not be coming in from outside on our concrete slab. Their care and concern for our home was absolutely the best. Fast forward a month or so down the road, and our new home has multiple plumbing leaks including a slab leak which soaked a portion of our carpet in our closet and bedroom. Bradley stopped by on his way home to pull up the carpet, cut out the wet padding, and assured us it could be salvaged. They'll be coming back out once the repairs are done to reset the carpet. On top of all this phenomenal customer service, they're ordering our flooring for another customer, and called to see if we wanted to order extra boxes because we were only left with one plank after the job was done. I mentioned this after the install and they remembered. If you're going to get your floors done, there's no better team out there than Triple A flooring. Their carpet installer was so kind, answered all of our crazy carpet questions, and even helped us salvage a few pieces that we turned into a hallway runner. They were very easy to work with and didn't try to upsell anything which is always great in my book. We supplied our own vinyl groove flooring but it did not come with the under mat and they were nice enough to go out and get it and just charge us what it cost. The way they cut it and laid it was fantastic and really butted up perfectly to the walls and even a circular pipe we were really impressed with. The pricing was very right and their work ethic was good as they were in and out so fast compared to what would have taken us days to do ourselves and not be nearly as clean. They even stopped in and waited for us to inspect it even though we didn't even ask to before leaving. I called Triple A Flooring about a small "repair" job estimate. Bradley said work would have to wait 'til January, but he would meet me at the house to give an estimate between 10:30- 11:00. He was not there, left no note, did not call, or respond to my call to tell me what happened. He seems to have just blown me off. I told him it was a small job, (probably $250 - 300). But Still!!! I was renovating a house in Monterey Park for my parents to move into, and the house badly needed new flooring. I researched Yelp and other websites, visited some local flooring folks, including Triple A Flooring, and opted to go with Triple A. They had the best price, but more importantly, my wife and I felt comfortable working with them. Owner Danny and son Bradley were competent, helpful, and easy going. We never felt pressured by them. Also, we are impressed that the owner not only quoted the job but did the work as well. We rarely see that with contractors. We were on a tight schedule, we were juggling multiple trades, and Triple A graciously accommodated us. They even delivered all of our new baseboard material to the property ahead of their installation window just so that our interior painter, who preceded flooring, could paint them in advance of Triple A's visit. Danny and Bradley were also patient with our indecisiveness (so many colors, so many options), and gave us good suggestions regarding color choices and baseboard styles. We went with "Bliss" by Lions Floor, and we love the result! FYI, we agonized over whether to paint first or do flooring first. I've read the pros and cons of each. Ultimately, I'm really glad we did painting first. The paint took forever to outgas (the smell gave me instant headaches), so had we left painting for last, move-in would have been delayed. Cancelled the job the day before demo and install due to the owner's (Danny Drake) inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. Comments were made about my house, my things, the efforts involved in moving some of my things, the readiness of my home the day before install, etc. Behaviors such as eye rolling and exasperated responses occurred as well. We had laminate installed in our living room with Triple A flooring this past Friday and it looks Amazing!! Danny and Hector are true craftsmen. There were some unusual angles around the base of our fireplace where they were laying the laminate. But the way they cut the laminate made it fit Perfectly.
