I had heard about Hernandez Wholesale Flooring for a number of years from several of my co-workers and friends who raved about what great company they were. So recently when my wife and I decided to have our carpeted floors replaced with vinyl flooring, the first place we went to was Hernandez Wholesale Flooring. We met with Steven, who did a great job explaining the process. Steven is extremely knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful and patient, and he helped us select the proper flooring for what we were looking for. Steven then put us in contact with Kenny, who helped install our new flooring and oversaw the project. Kenny came to our house the same day we first spoke over the phone and he provided us with a cost estimate and timeline for how many days it would take to complete the project. Once everything was in place, the work began. Kenny and his team did an OUTSTANDING job installing the flooring. His team showed up on time every day, they were extremely friendly, professional and very skilled. They also stayed within the timeframe of how long the job would take, which isn't always the case with this kind of work. After the project was completed, Kenny did a final walkthrough to ensure we were happy with the work he and his team had done. To say that my wife and I are happy with how our floors turned out is an understatement. The final product FAR EXCEEDED our expectations! Very nice and helpful people answering the phones. I got some "free" extra carpet left over from a family member installed in My bedrooms. I wanted the same carpet for My living and dining room and this store ordered it for me. Turn around was quick and I ordered a higher quality padding underneath with a little bit more thickness since the living and dining room were bigger "traffic areas". I took a star off because the person that did the installation was kind of rude he made a rude comment about the inferior quality of the padding in the bedrooms. However, his work was actually inferior to the carpet installation I had in the bedrooms. His seams were not good and he cut the carpet short in several areas and I had to have it stretched out by the company that came and did the bedrooms. I would highly recommend ordering from this company but I would not recommend their installer. read more

For price, quality, or helpfullness, I do not see how Alberto (my salesperson) or, Fernando (my installer) could be beat. When I screwed up and didn't submit my payment on time, they made accommodations so that the work was done on time and as scheduled. And, watching Fernando was a true joy, as his craftsmanship was extraordinary. And, back to pricing, I'm and old guy with too much time and never enough money. Great place to get your flooring material with fair prices. But that's about it. Everything else is horrible from customer service, communication to picking up your product purchased. Called in and Steven helped me with placing my order. I told him that I wanted to pay half for deposit and the rest when picked up. But few days later, a charge for the full amount. At least tell your customer you plan on charging in full. Pickup is hectic as a lot of people are there also when they open to pick up their items. After confirming order they tell you to wait out by the loading dock until someone helps you and then to pull in to a loading area. But after someone helps you, they ask why you aren't pulled into the loading area with your vehicle. At least there's a person to help load. After inspection, the boxes don't have any damage. But after being able to open some boxes to inspect. I wasn't pleased with the material, more of a manufacturing error not Hernandez Carpet Brokers. So I call Hernandez and the guy says he'll submit a claim and someone would get back to me in 4 days. Well, 4 days pass and crickets. Contact company and they say nothing was submitted. Called the guy at Hernandez and he said he has to ask sales rep. Obviously, nothing was submitted. The community and follow through are non existent. The other reviews on poor communication are true. If you only need the material, it's not bad. But Dura Flooring down the road will probably be a better choice read more
